Family Plumbing

Family Plumbing was able to come the same day even though it was last minute and not only that, did an amazing job in no time at all. I was experiencing a mainline blockage and the waste water would pile up in the bath tub. They didn't try to trick or lie to me and was extremely professional. Worth every penny and we look forward to calling them back of something like this may happen again.

Phil showed up in a mask, shoes off and ready to figure out the problem. He loved on my very excited pitbull and set to work to figure out the problem.

Initially we found evidence of a leak, but couldn't reproduce the leak to figure out where it was coming from. He wasn't going to charge me for coming out (!) and told me to call whenever the leak showed up again.

In a last ditch effort, I started splashing water around in the tub above and water started leaking! Phil had it fixed in short order his price was very reasonable!

Will definitely be calling Phil and Tracy out the next time we have an issue!

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! If I could give zero stars I would! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE GUYS! There are so many better plumbers that won't leave you waiting on them! These guys requested my address, said they'd be there within the hour and NEVER showed up or even were professional enough to respond when I asked hours later if they were still coming! Who does that??? I wasted my entire day waiting on them to show up and they can't even answer the phone when I call or respond to text messages asking if they were still coming! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! We own several rental properties throughout the city and they will NEVER get any of our business after wasting our time and not even at the very least letting us know what happened and that they clearly were not coming. We always like to support other small businesses but will not support businesses who operate this way and disrespect their customers by behaving this way. There are too many good plumbers out there that are more than happy to provide actual service to custiner

Follow up to Family Plumbings response... so you respond to my yelp review 25 DAYS later and then call me a liar??? First of all I never removed the time stamp! Anyone with an iPhone knows it only adds a time stamp in when there is a period of hours between messages... I responded to the message with my address immediately and that's why there's no break in that conversation... but that's adorable that you try and blame others for your badly run business... So maybe you can respond to this and not wait 25 days to answer but why did all my calls and text go unanswered? Isn't it funny how you seemed to forget how to answer that phone... The only thing on this message I blocked out was the address...and any idiot knows that you could've modified the times by having your phone set to a different time, for example if I set the clock on my phone ahead by 10 minutes it will show my received text messages at a different time then my sent messages even if they are sent/received within the same minute... you can try and call me a lot of things but I'm not a liar and I support small businesses just not ones that are disrespectful and rude to customers... and it's funny how there's a bunch of other reviews stating you never showed up or responded to them either after getting an address, almost like it's a pattern... Helpful hint, treat others the way you want to be treated and don't waste customer's time! You'll be far more successful that way...

Phil & Tracy are awesome! They came over yesterday to fix a leak in our kitchen sink and ended up replacing the faucet. They were the BEST! Such great energy between them! Family plumbing has cancelled appointments 3 times. Twice I took a day off from work to accommodate their visit, then they didn't show up,  I can't depend on them or trust them!!!

We found our plumber !! Not one but 2 !! Husband & wife team -- Phil & Tracy are just awesome. Their quality of work is superb, very professional, they work fast & reply fast. Straightforward and no one can beat their price. We got 3 bids and theirs was the lowest  (substantially low)--- the best !!  They did our bathroom faucet,installed our dishwasher,kitchen faucet,change our gas line (so stove with fit perfectly), re-installed our stove, fixed leaking lawn faucet and recently they fixed our leaking water heater. They our just awesome , excellent work & wonderful pricing  Highly Recommended.

Family Plumbing did not show up to their appointment with me. They left me a text message 25 minutes after the scheduled time to say they were on another job and would not be able to make it. I understand that unforeseen situations arise, but to notify me that late when my husband rescheduled meetings to meet with them is unacceptable. If you are on a complicated job you know well in advance that you will not be able to make your next appointment, especially when you factor in expected travel time. And a text message instead of a phone call is unprofessional and rude. If you schedule with Family Plumbing be prepared for them not to show up.

Phil and Tracy are an amazing husband and wife team. Me and my other half like to support local small business as much as possible. We were referred to Family Plumbing from a friend of ours who couldn't stop saying nice things about them. We were so blown away by their work ethic and commitment to getting the job done right. We had an issue with our toilet leaking stinky air into our house along with other issues and they came out the same day took a look and got right to work. The price was right their attitude was such a joy. We will definitely be recommending them to everyone we know.

Family-owned, trustworthy, and reasonably priced. I'm so thankful when they came to help me when I got too ambitious and tried to fix some plumbing on my own. They came in the following day and did a full repair. I even called them back when I needed a new kitchen sink and bathroom sink replaced. They are so friendly and great people to chat with. This husband and wife team installed two low flush toilets for me a couple months ago, were quick and efficient.  Two weeks ago i had my sewer back up i called Family Plumbing again they said they could fix it but Phil had the flu so he said he would try to come out the next day, they did just that, but it was obvious that Phil still wasnt  feeling very good and he needed to run the snake into the pipe via the roof vent, he dragged a heavy machine with an electric motor up a ladder onto a two story building by himself (one tough dude) then he ran a 100 foot snake down the pipe and had my drain flowing again in no time. Thanx  guys i will recommend
you to everyone.

What a great experience having Phil & Tracy take care of a long-term nagging plumbing issue we had.  They replied back to us within 30 minutes to say they would be at our house in 45 minutes to assess what would be needed. Once they determine the parts needed for our somewhat unusual plumbing issue, they were back the next morning to take care of the issue and the charge was minimal.  This is a very nice husband and wife team and we'll be sure to use them again. They are SO polite, and they even take their shoes off when coming inside.  My wife & I can't recommend them enough, you'll be very happy with them and the quality work they do at a fair price. Not to mention they won't find extra unnecessary work to do or say something needs to be totally replaced instead of repaired like some of the big television plumbers do.  Five stars!!!

Phil and Tracy were so wonderful! They came out to provide a free estimate for some extensive plumbing work at our house and they took their time and were quite thorough. I was quite impressed by how thorough they were because the first plumber who came by was in and out by 5 minutes.  Phil explained that the work could not be done because of several reasons, but that our general contractor would be able to resolve the issue on their own without a plumber. I was so impressed by his honesty. I am definitely going to use Phil and Tracy for our future plumbing needs. Called Family Plumbing to replace a toilet shut off valve that would not close completely. they responded within 5 minutes and gave an hour and a half arrival time. they were there within an hour. super friendly, great service, fair pricing....i will be a customer for life!!!

Wow what can I say! Called Family Plumbing today for a nagging leak in the kitchen and they were fast getting back to us and gave us one hour time frame and stuck to it. Phil and Tracy were friendly and professional and when Phil looked at my problem he told us it was an easy fix and wouldn't charge us. These people have made a customer for life.
If you have any plumbing problems don't hesitate to call them, they're honest and will not charge for unnecessary work.

I called the company a week ago and I was instructed to text them information about my issue. I didn't get an acknowledgement that they received the message nor a call back. I followed up after three business days (did not count the weekend), which was two days ago, and left a voicemail. I wanted to support their business but I guess they didn't want mine.

I typically don't bother writing reviews but Phil and Tracy with Family Plumbing blew me away with their excellent service. Plumbers rank somewhere along dentists with me and I have been dreading calling one for months but I couldn't be more happy with the service provided by Phil and Tracy. Phil was very practical in his estimate and oddly enough, actually worked very hard to save me money, something no one does nowadays. Things that could be repaired were repaired instead of replaced and they even took on extra work and installed new sink faucets for a very low price. Happy to say I have a plumber moving forward as I wouldn't hesitate to call this company again for repairs or installations.

I can not say enough good things about Phil and Tracy!  They are great to work with and even make extra time to come out after hours. They are reasonably priced and do quality work. They are great about texting you back even when they are super busy. I have had them install a garbage disposal as well as reseat a toilet!  They give you the option of buying the parts yourself or having them buy them for you.

What a great team! Would recommend them over and over again.

So we came home from work to find our downstairs bedroom flooded and water everywhere... Water shut off, no dishes, no showers... What a nightmare!
I called three of the larger plumbing companies I could find on Google. Since it was about 7pm, after hours, no one had available plumbers to come out. Through a friend on Facebook, we were recommended these guys. Wow! The customer service is flat out the best I've ever had. Phil is just a great friendly guy. His wife Tracy very cool as well. I called up after hours and they said no problem, be there in a few. Next thing you know, they're on my doorstep, ready to go! He got right to work finding the leak, fixing it and barely charged us a thing. He gave us all kinds of tips on cleanup and repair and made sure to know we were in good hands. This team is now our neighborhood plumber because that's what it felt like, your next door neighbor coming over to give you a hand. Thanks Phil and Tracy!

P.s. finally one of the larger companies called me about 9pm that they had a free tech. About an hour after Family Plumbing had fixed the leak and went home!

I had a broken garbage disposal thats needs to be replaced. I called several plumbers in the area and got different quotes. I came across with Family Plumbing, spoke with Phil and he gave me the best deal/quote. So, I made an appointment with him to replace my broken garbage disposal the following day. I work during the week and Phil understand that so he told me that they can come to see me after I get off work. Phil and his wife Tracy showed up ready for the job. They were very polite and professional. After they installed the garbage disposal, they tested it to make sure it's working, and that there's no water leaking. Phil even showed me how to troubleshoot the newly installed garbage disposal in the event it will get clogged and gave me tips on how to maintain it. My faucet needs to be replaced soon and Phil even gave me a free diagnostic check.  I highly recommend Phil and Tracey for your plumbing needs. They are reliable, affordable and easy to work with. I have his business card and they even told me to give them a call or text in case i have questions about anything. I will definitely recommend them to my family and friends. Excellent service! I had leaky spickett in my front yard and I had called a plumber I used in the past to fix it but never heard back, so attempted to tackle the project myself. I booked another plumber because of a faucet and disposal leak. I'd used the other plumber before on two occasions and was really happy with them. When I called this time though I got a price that sounded way too high--and was told it should be higher but I was such a good customer that they discounted it just for me.  So I posted on Escondido Facebook Friends asking what others thought of the price and was given a rave review for Family Plumbing with Phil and Tracy. I checked Yelp and found more stunning reviews. I called and got a price almost half of what I'd been quoted--and they were at my house within a couple of hours fixing my plumbing. It was really hot in Escondido, but they came with great attitudes and went right to work...............very friendly, amazing price, and great work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so thankful that Escondido Friends on Facebook steered me their way.
