EVO AIR

After a wall heater in one of our rentals didn't pass an SDG&E inspection, we contacted EVO Air. Evo identified why the unit didn't pass the inspection,and corrected the failed install job. He told me that they are a contractor with another public utility company and that he was familiar with the inspection requirements. This was a huge plus for me, as we had new tenants moving in, and the job had to be done, correctly, and pass inspection ASAP.  Evo showed up with all the necessary equipment to get the job done, including an impressive carbon monoxide meter, which immediately put my mind to ease. He covered the work area with drop cloths, and worked quickly and efficiently all with a smile and a great attitude! We've referred EVO Air to many of our associates. His pricing is tremendously fair, but the best part of Evo is his great customer service!

Evo is professional and efficient! I needed to replace my water heater ASAP, he was very accommodating and came out to replace the water heater in the same day! The installation fee was very reasonable as well. I would give him an extra star for his cleanliness and neatness! He cleaned up afterward, which you wouldn't expect much from this kind of service.

Evo answered my call, was very helpful and friendly and professional.  Based on my description of the problem over the phone he guessed accurately what the problem most likely was and was correct. He said it was likely a very quick fix and he was correct.   He explained the repair and provided future advice on our air conditioner.

I don't usually spend much time writing reviews, but these guys deserve a praise. Evo Air replaced the air conditioners at my property, and I can't be happier. The entire process from start to finish was flawless. Their techs were very knowledgeable and professional. I initially called because I had problems with my 30 years old furnace. They fixed it without any hesitation. They also tested the CO levels in my house and found out that the heat exchanger (I hope that's the correct word) was cracked. They gave me a very good price on replacement. It appears to be that the occasional headaches we used to have were caused by the elevated CO levels in the house. I decided to have them replace the furnace and the AC with brand new Bryant unit. So far, I am extremely satisfied with the service and quality of my new AC.

I noticed 5PM on a Sunday night that my water heater was leaking. Not only was it after hours, the following day was a holiday. Ivalyo returned my call, evaluated the situation and was at my home with a new water heater within a few hours. I had hot water that night. I can't express how grateful I am to work with such a professional and kind person. Do yourself a favor and ask for Evo Air.

EVO AIR just replace my 12 year old traditional water heater with a tankless (Navien NPE-240A) with a recirculating valve. I had gotten multiple quotes and their prices are extremely competitive. Ivaylo the business owner is extremely responsive and came out with his master plumber for the initial quote. My existing water heater was in the garage next to an hold HVAC system. The two of them came up with a great design plan for the tankless install while also considering the future work for the HVAC install.

On the day of the install, the same two people came out along with a third and got the job done in 4-5 hrs. It was comforting having the same people providing the quote as the ones that are actually doing the work. They provided updates along the process to ensure things would be installed the way I wanted and couldn't be more pleased with their work. I will definitely be reaching back out to EVO AIR when it comes time to upgrade my HVAC system!

Our AC unit broke down right before a heat wave. Thank god Ivaylo at EVO was quick to respond and come check it out. He was able to fix it, but it did stop working again a week later. He then again quickly responded and fixed it. Unfortunately, it wasn't blowing cold air, so he came back a few hours later to fix it again at no charge. While it took a few tries to get it all fixed, we really appreciated how responsive/quick he was. Also appreciated that he took the time to explain the issues and send pictures of what he was seeing. We need to get our whole system serviced this winter and will definitely be giving him a call because we appreciated the high level of customer service.

Evo is amazing. I called him for my HVAC service. He showed up ahead of the schedule. The work was bit complicated because of the trial done by my electrician to install HW T5+. But amazingly, he figured out the root cause just by visual inspection. His expertise, technical know how and willingness to educate you is commentable. Also his professionalism and safe approach during COVID-19 times is very much important for anybody to be safe. No need to look anywhere else for any HVAC or Plumbing needs. Thank you Evo.

I found them couple times to fix our air conditioner and water heater already. They are very professional. Always did great job. Our air conditioner and  water heater works very well now. Their staffs are very nice and fun. They charge very reasonable. And they do works quick and good.

Evo is incredible!  We bid out replacing our entire HVAC system as it was old and dilapidated.  Not only was his bid very competitive but he was the only vendor that was patient with us for over 6 weeks in going over the myriad of options available for the job.  He then replaced our entire HVAC system (including all ductwork) and also installed a dehumidifier system exactly on the schedule he'd laid out.  The installation he performed was far and above our expectations in every way.  His communication is impeccable.  His follow through is 100%.  His friendliness and professionalism on all aspects of our interactions with him was second to none in any of our experiences with any contractor/service provider!!

As someone who wants things done right, I can say with confidence that Ivaylo went above and beyond what was required.

He replaced my 40 gallon water heater with a Navien 210A tankless water heater, finishing it in one day from 8AM to 7PM.

He also fixed my hot water pressure in the kitchen, which was not in our original discussions at all.

Had an a/c installed in my rental house and Evo was very professional and reasonable in pricing. Did extra work at no cost but just to give a good combined system. Will use them again if needed.

Great service!!!   My AC unit stopped blowing cold air so I gave many companies a call today and everyone was booked. Especially since it's one of the hottest days in San Diego and a holiday weekend. We were really impressed with the professionalism in how Evo conducted business.  Contacted Evo via email yesterday around 645pm and they replied immediately saying they could be at our house today between 10-12. They also sent an additional email with all of their credentials and photos of their service vans etc. without me even asking.. Evo showed up today at 10am, checked out our tankless water heater and determined that a new circulating pump was not necessary after all, saving us a minimum of $250+.

Contacted Evo Air through their website form-fill requesting my non-working heater to be fixed and was contacted by Hamish very quickly to arrange a time to come out.  Hamish was great - He carefully and correctly diagnosed the issue (needed to replace the circuit board), went and got the part and had my heater up and running in no time! The price was super reasonable and the service was excellence. He even took the time to show me the old circuit board and explain what caused it to stop working in the first place. Highly, highly recommend Hamish and Evo Air in general for all your heating needs!

EVO AIR installed our ac and heating unit. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable. We have already had the unit for a year and works amazing which is great for the East county heat. He took it upon himself to contact us to do a free service after a year which was above and beyond. Everything was great and we should be good to go for years to come! Found ourselves with an AC that was blowing out hot warm air, our compressor wasn't turning on.  Was able to get a hold of Ivaylo on a Sunday (when most other shops were closed) and he was able to get here in less than 30 minutes.  Was very professional and immediately went to work diagnosing the problem.  Walked us through his findings after 5-10 minutes and then made a simple fix.  Had the AC back up and running in no time and gave us a very reasonable price for the work.  Hopefully we don't have a need for him in the future but if we run into any more problems he will be my first call.  Thanks Ivaylo!

We were referred to Evo (and his previous partner Peter) in 2017 by a friend and they did a wonderful job! We had a few companies come out for estimates, and we chose Evo because of how well they were able to convey the changes needed... Being an engineer I always want to know how systems work. Evo diagramed how they would extend my heating system to include central air and I could tell he knew his trade very well and had lots of experience. He was very honest and open with me through the whole process and even let me visit a current job so I could see first hand their level of quality. On the job I visited, and on the work he did at my house, everything was top notch. We went with the slim fit condenser unit and we've gone through 3 summers with no issues. Their price was very competitive and work was excellent, I highly recommend!

This past spring I called Evo because our furnace wasn't starting up. He came the next day, identified the problem quickly and luckily it looked like we were at the tail end of our original manufacturer warranty. He handled the entire warranty claim for me, swapped the malfunctioned part at the local distributor and its everything is working as expected since. He's definitely my go to guy to call, and I always recommend his small business to friends because he does excellent and honest work.

I learned about Evo when shopping for a water heater at Home Depot. The person I was speaking to texted Evo with my number and he called me immediately. Evo also does water heater installations which are not listed on Yelps list of services. Evo arranged to pick up the water heater I had purchased and did a beautiful installation at my home. I had also inquired about installing a recirculating pump which Evo also did at the time of installation. So now we quickly get hot water at all our faucets.

My experience with Evo was outstanding. His price including the extra parts needed for the install was very reasonable and he was meticulous. He left my garage cleaner than it was when he arrived. The city inspection passed easily.

My Central AirCond was not cooling. Showed to few service companies. Everybody told the same, Compressor is gone. Since this a/c is R22 Freon, very old and obsolete. Suggesting to buy new Package! Costing &-10 grand. One of my friends recommended me Evo Air. I called him and he showed up immediately. He checked all thoroughly and he told me, Compressor is not working but let me check something. He opened up the cap and found out main wiring came out. It took very long to fix but he did it. I requested him that i have 3 grand kids and it should be fixed today (same day) if possible. It took 3 hrs to finish the Job!! He did wonderful Job. I would recommended everybody to use his services! He is very good. I gave him 5!!!!!

Excellent response time and customer service, not to mention competitive pricing. We had a problem with our AC and Ivalyo was at our home within 10 minutes, quickly accessed the issue and, given the age of the unit, discovered other problems once he began. Evo is knowledgeable, honest and reasonably priced.  I had an old house that needed a complete furnace replacement  and he came and gave me a detailed information about the issue and and the estimated cost to replace it.  I was not ready to replace it  but then when I contacted him10 months later and he honored the prices and did an excellent job. EVO AIR is amazingly responsive, and exceptionally easy to work with.
I emailed them with pictures of my current system and asked for a quote to replace my 30+ year old HVAC system. I received a call 5 minutes after sending the email, and the owner, Evo, was at my house preparing a quote within 30minutes. Incredible customer service!
I got the quote 1 day later, and they started work 3 days after that. Within a week the system was installed and working.
Comparing prices online, my system was less expensive than I would pay one of the big names that advertise with annoying TV commercials.
Evo was even willing to relocate my condenser from the back patio to the side of the house, where the annoying wind and noise are now far away.

Our hot water heater needed to be replaced and I reached out to Ivaylo. He was quick to respond and provided me with a quote over the phone and text and followed thru. It isn't often I write a review without being asked, but EVO AIR did something that I think it rare these days.  I hadn't had my heating and air conditioning system at my rental property in Rancho Penasquitos checked in too many years to admit, and so I asked my longstanding and trusted plumber if he knew anyone and he recommended EVO AIR and specifically Ivaylo Enchev to   call.

I contacted Ivaylo and he told me that a service call/inspection would be $49.50 which seemed reasonable so I had him set up an appointment with my tenant.

The result of the inspection was that the unit was working fine, but was almost 26 years old at this point, and that he thought then when it did have problems the best thing to do would be to replace it. At my request, he also said he would send me a estimate for what it would cost for a new system when that time finally came.

Additionally, he showed my tenant how to replace the filters on the heating system so that he could do it himself.

But the part that I was not expecting was that he told me there was no work to be done, so he did not charge me anything even though I am sure he spent at least an hour or more at the property.  I would have gladly paid him for his time, but what Ivaylo secured with his act of kindness was a lifetime of loyalty from me.

Like I said, he did not ask me to write this. I just wanted to return his act of kindness with this recommendation.

Had a Navien tankless water heater fitted by Evo Air and have to agree with the previous five star reviews. Dealing with Ivaylo was a pleasure as he was very informative and extremely compeditive in his pricing. When it came to the site visit and installation Dino did a fantastic job, the City Inspector even commented on it!
