I've been meaning to write this review for a few weeks now. These Guys totally saved us on Thanksgiving. The Wednesday night before Thanksgiving we had a toilet plug that plugged up much more than the toilet. 5PM on Wednesday the night before Thanksgiving. I was having 15 people here the next morning for Thanksgiving. It was pouring down rain and they were here in 30 minutes. They drilled out a pretty nasty clog and had things running in about 30 minutes. Since they were here I also needed a new kitchen faucet installed so they took care of that too for me. Very polite and professional Father and Son and I was extremely happy with the work and how fast it was done. We will need to master clean out drain installed here at some point and I'll be calling Jesse and his Father to do it. Thanks much.

I had a clogged drain which they did fix quickly so they get 2 stars instead of 1 for the sheer speed. When they showed up I was just asking for them to look at it but they ended up fixing it without telling me how much it was going to cost which was $175 to just unclog a drain. The last company charged me $75 and that was around the cost I was expecting to pay for this time. If they had disclosed to me that it would have been that much I would have just called the last company I worked with.

The plumber that came, I had asked him what was the cause of the blockage, he informed me it was debris...ok, of course it's debris, what else would it be? I meant what can I do to make sure it doesn't happen again and he couldn't give me a straight answer. The answer I finally got was everyone has plumbing issues sometimes

If Damman's reads this, you need to disclose how much your service is going to cost before doing your work, $175 is outrageous to send a snake down a pipe.

I called this morning and got an appointment for this afternoon. Jesse called when he was on the way. He and his partner came in with masks and they paid attention to keeping everything neat and clean. After they fixed the hose for my dishwasher, they ran it twice to make sure that the air gap drained properly. They were very polite and professional. I am very satisfied.

Had two different companies come out to attempt to fix an issue with our main bathroom and neither succeeded. Cost us time and money. Because Damman's Plumbing did a great job repairing our leaking toilet, we decided to call them back to replace 3 very old leaking bath tub valves. Again, we were very impressed with Damman's prompt service at a very reasonable price. The three valves were quickly replaced on this bath tub and no more dripping! Highly recommended!

Be aware that they would charge you $150 for a very simple fix. By simple, i mean just turning on the garbage disposal and covering the other end of the double sink. Ive never heard of a service this expensive just for turning on the garbage disposal. Very disappointed. Wish I looked at the reviews here first before calling them.

I called Jesse at 6pm because my 2 year old decided to flush an unknown amount of flushable wipes down the toilet and clog it. I had water leaking out from the base of the toilet. Jesse responded out to my house within 30 minutes. Jesse was very professional and fixed the clog within a timely manner. Jesse also notice the flow to refill the toilet was slow. Jesse fixed everything and cleaned everything up. Jesse was very professional and communicated very well. I would use him again.

After looking at this review we decided to give them a try. We called and they came out within a few hours. We have a sink in the garage that needed the drain cleaned and the Faucet replaced ( we had the new faucet) and two ball valves replaced, they were here for no more than 1 1/2 hours and would have been less if they had put the right ball valves on in the first place. This was not an emergency and we just asked when they could come. I guess it's best to ask for a quote lesson learned. They changed us $475 I don't know what the going rate is for a plumber is these days but that seems like a lot for a small job. We are feeling taken and wouldn't recommend using them.

This company was wonderful tonight. I called with an emergency, the plumbing backed up into toilet bowls, sinks and bathtub on my brand new tenants. The plumbers jumped into their trusty truck and traveled to my place like Clark Kent aka Superman. All kidding aside they got the job done quickly and for a reasonable price, especially since it was early Sunday evening. I would not hesitate to call them again if their kind of service were required.

I am really impressed with this company. The biggest thing with a plumber is you need them ASAP and they've been at my home twice almost immediately. The first time they installed a new toilet, the second they cleared a clog in my kitchen sink/garbage disposal. I even saw them at a local bar at 10 pm helping with a broken pipe emergency. They are very respectable in the home and explain everything as it's happening. It's a family owned business which I prefer to help rather than big corps. Their clean up process is immaculate and they made it look as if they weren't even there. I highly recommend them, you won't be disappointed.

Total evening disaster at our place. Back up in two bathrooms. Called Jesse at Damman's not expecting a quick reply. But, 30 minutes later the guys were out and worked diligently and patiently to get the blockage about 70 feet up line. Cleaned up after themselves and were reasonable for an after hours emergency service. I hope I don't need a plumber, but if I do....no doubt, it's going to be Dammon's here in La Mesa. Sharp guys, personable and good at what they do.

Our main water line broke one Saturday morning flooding our front yard. Damman's Plumbing was the only plumber that was willing to come on Sunday (Father's Day - the next day) with competitive pricing. We first met Jesse to start the project, then the father, Ayoub finished the job. It took two days due to some leak. They stick with their words, and came out to fix any leak after they dig up a trench and installed the pipeline. Would hire again, highly recommend!

I had an excellent experience with Damman's Plumbing. I had a main water line leak outside my house, requiring me to turn off the water at the meter until such time as it could be repaired. Jesse Damman responded to my request in just a few minutes after normal business hours, asked me several questions and then agreed to come and view the issue the following day. He was able to give me a quote for replacing my plastic pipe service line with copper. It was dug up, replaced, tested and reburied within 24 hours. They showed up with masks on, which I appreciated, but since they were working outside in a safe manner, I didn't require them to keep the masks on. I am very pleased with the speed, professionalism and respect they showed me and my property. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

Found water on my garage floor and assumed the water heater was leaking. Found Damman's Plumbing on yelp and texted. Jesse responded quickly and was able to come out asap. He and his father found that the leak was actually from burst pipes behind the wall. Yikes! They fixed it in no time. Very respectful, professional, knowledgeable. I don't know how much the repair usually costs but I didn't question it because I really felt that they were trustworthy. They also use Venmo which was very convenient. I HIGHLY recommend them!

PLUS they recommended a great restoration company to air out and repair the dry wall and repaint my garage - Risk Serv. Damman's Plumbing and Risk Serv were a great combination! Thank you!

Ayoub Damman assisted us with a few large projects at our home in El Cajon. He helped with the plumbing portion of a bathroom addition after we bought the house, and got the rest of the house up and running by unclogging drains and pipes (it was in terrible condition when we bought it.) He was wonderful to work with, very punctual, responsive, and reasonably priced compared to many other plumbers. I highly recommend Ayoub to anyone needing a plumber!

Had our water heater replaced by Aboud and Jessie--the father and son owners of the business. I would definitely recommend this company to others because (1) from my communications with Jessie, he managed to stay quick and patient answering all my questions. (2) although they did not have military discount, their service was beyond receiving the military discount--they really helped us made sure that their installation was perfect..even took extra time and resource to attach an additional piece for no extra cost. (3) they are honest with their price. I contacted 3 other companies and found how they fabricated their price and service with their labor warranty. Don't be fooled. I had a company tell me their labor warranty was life time and another for 1 year and got one to admit that this really meant that if anything went wrong because of installation, they will fix their mistake.. that's just to try and get you to work with them. The Damman's may not advertise labor warranty, but the way they roll is always to make their customers happy and that is the most valuable service there is out there (4) They were on time, sincere with their work, and very friendly folks (:

I had Damman's Plumbing install an extension on a shower handle in my guest bathroom. The technicians left the shower handle very loose and it was flopping around and shrugged off the issue when I told him it wasn't correct. He also left behind a huge mess. He installed connections using permanent thread locker (red loctite, evidence in pictures and more info below). Since it's a guest shower nobody uses it, and I'm mechanically inclined enough to fix it myself when I have time. The only reason I hired Dammans was because the extension part is a special order item (not available at your regular hardware store).

Fast forward to now when I went to fix the issue and tighten up the handle. The center bolt pictured was not tight against the assembly which is why the handle was loose and floppy. On top of that it was impossible to remove. I tried multiple different methods to get it off and had to resort to cutting off the bolt head and using a large vice grip to get it off. The bolt nearly snapped as you can see the evidence of it twisting. The culprit? RED LOC TITE. If you're not familiar with what that is, it's designed to permanently install bolts and not be removed. It has no place in this application, ask any mechanic or plumber and they will tell you the same.

He helped me think through and explore various options and avenues, telling me procedures, costs, and scenarios for the problem!

Wow these guys are life savers!!!!! I had a pipe brake in my house and I didn't know what to do. I called Damman's Plumbing and they took care of the problem right away. Jesse saved the day!! After spending hours trying to do it ourselves on a Saturday we called Damman's Plumbing to clear a problematic kitchen sink drain. Even though it was 4:00 on Saturday they answered right away and told me they would be here right away. True to their word they showed up within 15 minutes. Oh no! A clogged bathtub drain! Definitely on the top of the list of first world problems. We searched the entire World Wide Web to find a solution to our clogged tub. After watching several YouTube videos and several trips to Home Depot, we were prepared to tackle the tub. Alas, our efforts were in vain. A late night Yelp search led to us finding Damman's Plumbing. He replied in less than 10 minutes and scheduled a visit for the next day. All responses were prompt and his pricing was excellent. He de-clogged our tub in less than 15 minutes and now we can enjoy a nice hot shower again. We highly recommend Damman's Plumbing to anyone looking for a professional and high quality plumber. We just moved into a new house and our main line was backing up. Jesse and the team at Damman are exceptional. They showed up quickly, diagnosed what was going on right away, helped us find our cleanouts so we'd know what to do in the future should we ever have troubles, and explained what they were doing and why certain things were happening as they went about resolving the clog.

They are respectful, mindful of cleanliness as they go in and out of the house, communicate their arrival ahead of time and also wore masks while working, even in the heat. We even have a couple of noisy dogs and they were very understanding.

If you're dealing with any plumbing issues, Damman is who you should be contacting. We've got their card on the fridge now.

On a Sunday afternoon, I discovered a water leak in my bedroom. I telephoned a plumber that I have used before, but they were not available. I went into Yelp and looked up plumbers. After reading a few reviews, I decided to contact Damman's Plumbing. Jesse answered the call and I explained to him the situation. He said he would call me back to see if his dad, Ayoub, would be able to come. Jesse quickly called me back and told me that his father would arrive within an hour and a half. Ayoub showed up on time and I explained to him the situation. Before he arrived, I had done a few things to see if the water leak was coming from our water pipes, or the neighbor in the upstairs unit. I concluded that the water leak was coming from the upstairs neighbor, and Ayoub agreed as well. Ayoub inspected the wet area in the ceiling, and made his way to the upstairs unit. He ran a few tests like turning on certain water faucets on for a few minutes, and coming back downstairs to check for any leaks. After doing that a few times, he felt that the neighbor's shower valve cartridge is what was causing the leak behind her wall, and damaging our ceiling. He said that he noticed that her shower knob did not turn smoothly, and when that happens, the valve cartridge usually gets damaged. He said that he felt 80% sure that was the problem. Damman's Plumbing charged us $150.00 for their service.

Ayoub then made his way upstairs to notify them. At first they did not want to get the shower valve cartridge replaced, but then they agreed. This water leak problem happened on a Sunday, and six days later, I have not noticed any more water leaking in my bedroom. Thank God and thank you Damman's Plumbing. Ayoub did not speak English well, but that did not stop us from still being able to communicate and understand each other. :) He was also kind, funny, and respectful. Jesse was very professional and responded quickly to my texts.

I have been struggling with my bathroom sink facet for a few months now. It continuously has been getting clogged and though I would repeatedly use Drano, it hadn't helped at all. If you need plumbing in the East County, call these guys right now! Jesse was awesome! It was Saturday: I called at 11:30 and Jesse was here at 1 pm and done in 1/2 hr at the most, and he's also a very nice guy...thank you Jesse!!! $225 for a toilet angle valve, but best money I ever spent! Now the story: I was in a tough spot, putting in a new toilet in an almost 20 yr home. Got the toilet installled in spite of a worn angle valve and thought I was home free with the install, but then found a hairline crack-leak in the new toilet tank. :( I tried to turn the angle valve off but this time it did not shut off, and I knew better than to try to change one of these valves myself. I checked yelp for plumbers close to Rancho San Diego with a high rating. Tried one business but got an answering machine after 10 rings and hung up. So I called these guys and so glad that other company did not pick up! Jesse picked up immediately and said he could be here STAT (my words for what he told me) and sure enough he was here on time and put in a MUCH better valve, 1/4 turn vs the standard crappy plastic-stem valves. So if you have a plumbing problem, don't hesitate call Damman's!

I recently experienced an unfortunate situation in which a pipe burst in my upstairs bathroom around 4:30am. I immediately turned the main water valve off. However, by the time I reached shut off valve, the leak had already began rushing downstairs. I began to call the list of plumbing companies on Google. I began to panic after calling numerous plumbing companies to only reach an automated voice, a continuous dial tone or a voice mail. Luckily, I eventually reached Jesse at Damman's plumbing. He was kind and assured me everything would be okay. He was able to arrive shortly after and resolve the situation. He also advised me on how to resolve other issues caused by the water leak. Jesse and his father were fast and efficient! The property manager of the home we rent initially wanted us to use another plumber to snake our kitchen drain. We called that company (don't remember the name) for 2 days and never received a call back. One of my neighbors recommended Damman's so we called in the morning. The main sewer line was rotted out from being about 80 year old cast iron pipe and crapped out on us. All of sudden one day we had sewage leaking out in the basement. After the normal panic I called a few place that gave me an appointment days away and finally I called Bill Howe plumbing (major rip off and not joking) The guy came in I showed him what the issue was and he said we will have to repair 10 feet of pipe, it would take 2-3 days ($1700/day plus $700 in materiel). After I got over the sticker shock I thought to myself how can 10 feet of pvc pipe and a few clamps cost so much.. So I told the guy that before I commit I am calling a couple of people just to check around. Someone told me to call Jesse and his dad Ayoub, Made the call, they came out in 45 mins and I had a written quote for $500 for labor and $82 for material. They changed out the same exact 10 feet of pipe in about 5 hours and and a total of $582 were gone. The other company is honestly fraud. Ayoub & Jesse are the best in town.

I recommend Damman's Plumbing if your in need. I found him off a recommendation on the nextdoor app and am so glad I did.

I have dealt with 2 other plumbers this year alone for a similar problem. The first snaked the main for a few minutes and tried upselling me on a $900+ hydrojet job.

I called my insurance and they sent out a contractor who was here for no more than 15 minutes and claimed he completed the hydrojet job.

Well its no surprise that 4 months later I am having a similar problem again. This time I was lucky to find a recommendation for Dammans Plumbing. I called and they were able to get me in the next day. (Could have same day if I had needed. ) Their pricing was very reasonable. I got Jesse. He was very kind and professional. He is good at communicating and explaining what is going on. He worked for about two hours using two different snakes. We had a huge blockage which wasn't toilet paper or napkins. The theory is the previous owners kid might have dropped something she wasn't supposed to in the toilet. I highly recommend them and will use him again if we ever need a plumber.

I called at 2pm on a Sunday because my toilet wouldn't flush and the tank was constantly filling with water. Jesse answered right away and said he would check availability and give me a call back. He scheduled an appointment for the next day. Jesse was prompt and brought his Father which was sooooo nice to see father and son working together. Damman's Plumbing was one of the few plumbing companies who was willing to come by and check out/fix my plumbing issue the same day. The reason I went with Damman's Plumbing because they were the first to respond on Yelp when I requested a quote after I sent the appropriate information at 10PM, and they were also willing to come out from another job and fix my issue without charging me an arm and a leg for work on a Saturday. I understand that it's OT for plumbers on a Saturday, but the price range other plumbers gave me were from $50-$150 more! Some of the plumbing companies I reached out to, had either the same amount of stars and comparable reviews, however they were willing to charge a lot more than well established, larger companies, but not Damman's Plumbing. I give these guys 5-Stars because of their honesty, hard-work, and eagerness to help customers like myself when they find themselves in a bind. So, if you're looking for plumbers for future or even emergency jobs, check these guys out and give them a call. I highly-recommend this company for all your plumbing needs, and they've earned a customer for life.

Toilets got clogged up at 9 pm Sunday night and we went into panic mode! Called so many places that said they were 24 hours and they really weren't at all or were way over priced! So frustrating! I cannot speak highly enough of the service provided by Damman's Plumbing. My first indication that something was wrong was when the garage flooded after a washing machine run. Then all the water that was used upstairs came raining down. It was a Saturday morning, so most plumbers were closed for the weekend. I called Damman's Plumbing first, and didn't need to call anyone else.

Jesse was a rock star. I called in somewhat of a panic while he was on another job. He calmly let me know that he would be by as soon as he had finished the current job. He was at my house within an hour. He quickly diagnosed the problem and went to work right away. I should mention the house was built in the 50's, extended in the 80's and has an extremely convoluted plumbing system that makes no sense. Jesse was able to figure out what was happening and got to work right away. Jesse was an absolute pleasure to work with, providing explanations as to what was happening and happily answering all my questions. It turned out that the pipes needed an industrial piece of equipment to resolve the issue. Jesse made sure that there was another functioning bathroom available for me there for the night and then returned first thing the next day, with his father, Ayoub, who was similarly awesome. They got the drain issue resolved in less than an hour. Both gentlemen were kind, professional, and compassionate and made an extremely stressful situation much easier to deal with. I would definitely recommend Jesse, Ayoub, and Damman's Plumbing to anyone that needed to save their homes from evil drains. 5 stars!

I used them to replace all of the tub fixtures in our bathroom. It took a little longer to get the right parts, as the old connections in the wall required specific parts that aren't commonly available. But they got it done, with nice results. Be aware if you have a minor repair or nothing is wrong, they would charge $125 for not fixing anything. I had a huge knocking noise caning from the dishwasher. I talked to the son and dad came very quickly, within an hour. It turned out that the hot water valve was not completely opened. He just opened it and it literally took 5 min to figure out what caused the noise. He didn't fix anything. All he did was opening the valve. He was in and out of my house in less than 10 min. But they charged me $125! (And it would have been additional $3 if I used a debit or credit card). I have never heard a service call of this expensive. A few min minutes later, he came back and asked if he could take the garden umbrella I I left outside. I told him I'd sell him for $20 and he said but you threw it away! I told him I just paid him $125 and he said he didn't want it if he had to pay.. I told him to just take it and gave it to him for free so they got a $125 check and an umbrella from me in 10 min.

Father and Son are honest and provide an excellent service. Our pipe in the bathroom was leaking on the wall, but there is no particular area where to identify the only way to precisely detect or locate the leak is to use a guided machine cost 300 to 400. I end up never hiring a person to track the leak. He asked me a permission to bore a hole, which I knew I will need a drywall anyway if i hire someone to use a machine tracker to locate a pipe leaking.His expertise, it took him only twice to locate a needle size hole in the pipe. I save money and fast service to fix the problem. BTW, I rarely make a reviews, father and son deserve this positive review. BZ

Yes you were told that one of those days would work, not that all of them were available to be set aside for you to maybe or maybe not show up. I run my own business so that I can make my own schedule but if I don't work, I don't get paid. I am sure that you understand. And I would never cancel on anyone with 10 hours notice assuming that the other times that they offered on that day would still be available. Instead of apologizing for cancelling the appointment at the last minute without confirmation that the message was even received, you get angry that I leave an accurate account of our interaction saying that anytime I offered should still be available but guess what even if I wanted you to stop by I couldn't because they are actually closing the street down tomorrow.
In addition to being flaky you are entitled to people's time and rude.
Nah dog, I ain't paying you $300 to show up when you feel like it.

I just love it when you can call and talk directly to the professional who is going to do the actual work! ...compared to other options (i.e., having to call and talk to a call center or appointment setting person). I called and got Jesse on the 2nd ring, talked to him about a situation occurring at one of my clients' homes, and he gave me great info and answers upfront. Knowing he was what I was looking for, I scheduled him to come to the home on the very next morning. He confirmed again just prior to arrival (which was cool!). Damman's plumbing got us out of a tight jam and was able to come out within 1 hour near the end of the day so that our client didn't have to go long without water after we accidentally struck a copper pipe. Late post, but we had a major plumbing issue, all bathrooms backed up. Called and Jesse came out. We have very old and poorly designed plumbing so the clog was bad. Jesse spent hours trying to snake it. Didn't give up even after 2 hours +. Called his father who came over and helped and they got it done.

Despite the long time and effort, the quoted charge was only a little bit higher. Very professional and friendly. Would 1000% recommend!!

Damman's Plumbing was one of two companies that came out and they were the only ones that were able to actually resolve the issue. The clean out traps in front of my house were installed improperly (by a previous owner); however, Jesse managed to not only discover the 2nd trap opening but get the pipe cleared so everything drains properly. I rarely leave reviews, but I've gotta say these gentleman came in and fixed our problem immediately. We needed a main line drain on a Sunday morning when we woke up to trouble, and they showed up within an hour. It took them maybe 30 minutes total to come in, diagnose, repair, and clean.
