I have used this company for at least 20 years, and can not think of one time that I have ever gotten unsatisfactory service. Years ago, Cory was the plumber that serviced my area. Loved him.
Now, Alex is my guy!! This is a review on two service calls that were about a month apart, so bear with me.
Service call #1 - I went into my garage only to find a small river flowing down the driveway. This is a common problem so I just picked up the phone and called. I was given a window of about 2 hours for an afternoon appointment. Alex arrived 10 minutes before the appointment (bonus points) and I gave him the scenario and he went straight to the problem, so I thought. I thought there was a backup in the main line from the washing machine and kitchen. NO, the problem was not the main line. The problem was that the knob on the dang washer was stuck between cycles causing it to continuously fill. Yes for the record I felt like an idiot!! I asked Alex if he could show me the reset button on my garbage disposal because it was stuck. After about 10 minutes of trying to pry it free, he said it was frozen stuck and it needed to be replaced. He said he had one on his truck and asked if I would like to have the work done. He excused himself to call his dispatcher to make sure he had the time. I agreed. In less than an hour the work was completed, and my plumbing and disposing were good to go. I paid out the butt, but you get what you pay for and I am happy. Gave him a $30 cash tip.
Service call #2 - A friend of mine came over with their 3 year old who was a very curious little tike, and while hitting the target in the bathroom he managed to flush some sort of object. After 3 days of attempting to clear the object, I got to the point where I only made it worse. I removed the toilet, no luck. I snaked my main shower drain, no luck. i went through the roof vent with a hose and bladder, DISASTER! The first bladder exploded like a bomb and blew the rubber clear across the street into my neighbors yard. The second attempt with a new bladder, GOT STUCK! I knew the situation was bad but I was dreading the cost as this came at a bad time financially. When very disgusting sewer waste began bubbling up into my master shower, and I only had one toilet that was semi usable it was time to call. Unfortunately, I made the call on a Friday morning and they had nothing left that day. They had 1 Saturday appointment that I could not do with my schedule, so I scheduled the first Monday morning appointment. Alex shows up and I was humiliated by the gross mess in the shower but ran him through the scenario. I explained that the toilet remained off thinking he may be able to snake it from there. Alex decided to snake the roof vent first and then we would go from there. I hear him start of the snake machine and start the process. I heard it running, and running, and running. Then it sounded like it was stuck. Alex came in covered in sweat and says his snake was stuck and it took muscle to get the damn thing out. We went to the main bathroom (with no toilet) and find about a 5 foot length of snake all wrapped up in a towel and sticking out of the toilet line. Puzzled, he realizes that the snake had come up the line and was whipping around in the bathroom. It had snagged a towel that was on the floor and wrapped up in it. Alex was very concerned about damage to my tile floor and asked me to please look carefully as he needed to report it right away. There was no damage, just a towel...big deal! He commented on the object being of significant size and said that it was a challenge to push through. We ran all the water faucets and flushed the (one) toilet several times until he was sure the main was clear. Then he headed to his truck to write up the bill. Here's the part when I was covered in sweat. I scrambled around and gathered a cash tip, until he came in with the bill. I nearly fainted when he said $100 and some change. He only charged me the regular sewer clean-out fee. I was thrilled to death! Once again the plumbing company I have come to trust and love did an outstanding service and at an affordable cost. Alex and the rest of the staff at Co. Co. County are top notch. I highly recommend their service.
