Jake is the rep that came out to our place. He is very knowledgeable courteous and professional. He made me feel very comfortable. This company is genuine and doesn't try to up sale you a service you don't need. At the same time they will give you an honest recommendation, if needed, and leave it up to you to follow through if you choose to do so. No pressure.

I will DEFINITELY recommended the business to people and use them again!

Hector at Blue Planet is awesome! He came out to give an estimate for an unknown leak and did such a good job explaining everything that we went ahead and had him do the repairs. He was super patient and even took the time to explain how to fix small things ourselves. When there was a misunderstanding over the work order, he went ahead and took care of the problem. We will definitely ask for him the next time we have a plumbing problem!

WE had a major cast iron sewer main problem, do to age of plumbing and several other pipe connection and material problems, do to bad plumbers in the past. We had multiple bids to do the work. Blue planet was not only reasonable(comparable to some others) but, what sold us on them was their technician Manny. Manny was very knowledgeable and
thoroughly explained everything that had to be done. We wanted a long term fix and not a band aid solution. Manny and Freddy work at our home several days . They were respectful and pleasant. They took their time and did the job right. I would highly recommended blue planet. A special thank-you to Manny and Freddy!!!!!

If I could give minus stars I would. I called them for a plumbing emergency. They fixed the emergency with my wife home, then quoted us $1250 for something else which may be cause of issue. We turmed it down. Got a quote somewhere else for the exact same work for $325. Stay away from these people that take advantage of women.

I was so impressed with this company! I was having issues with the water pressure at my house. They were able to send out a service tech the same day! The service tech Mike was very friendly and knowledgably. He clearly explained the problem, the work needed to fix it, and the cost. He was able to restore the water pressure in the entire house better than it has ever been since I've been living here. I would definitely use their services in the future, should I have other plumbing issues. Thank you Blue Planet!

Joshua is a professional! I thought that I had a clogged sink, but Joshua showed me how badly my drains and sewer lines had deteriorated. An unclogged drain would have lasted me about another month or so and he and his team were on the job the next evening (I have to work days so they accommodated my work schedule by performing the job in the evenings). My clean up and restoration project hasn't begun yet in my kitchen and 2 bathrooms but Joshua lined me up and explained the entire process to me. Joshua, Anthony, and Frank are a great team! I would not hesitate in referring Blue Planet Drains and Plumbing to anyone!

Fernando was amazing. When we were at our wits end, due to a plumbing emergency that wasn't being resolved. The other companies were slow to respond & their plan to resolve the issue involved extraordinary means, such as removing the exterior siding of the house. Blue Planet came in found an effective fix that did not involve major demolition. In addition the plumbing problem was fixed in one day. Fernando was great at staying in touch to make sure everything was going as planned. When the project was completed he came by to check in making sure we were happy & the job was completed to his specifications. His plumbers Mike & Rene were experienced and knew what they were doing. I can not recommend them enough.

I ended up using Blue Planet Thanksgiving weekend because I pressed the call icon for their business rather than a plumber I have used in the past for emergencies. What a lucky mistake! I received great customer service on the phone and Jake was at our house within a couple hours. He got our drain cleared and I was able to run the dishwasher! Thank you Blue Planet!

I had a toilet running nonstop a couple months ago and they came out and fixed it... However I have been gone from my house for a bit due to some
Health issues, and realized when I returned it was still running. Even though I was out of warranty they sent Moy and Freddie over to fix it, and covered it. I thought it was going to be an issue; but I'm very grateful that they were able to uphold their service that they did previously, and I would highly recommend them to do your plumbing work because they will show up. It was a very simple quick fix but I'm glad that they showed up and did it under the warranty that was expired. Great company and reliable.

I had them replace my main water line, which had a continual leak in my front yard. I was impressed with the thoroughness of the estimate, they really considered what work needed to be done, and it wasn't an easy fix. The workers always seemed to be working hard, and my ground was very hard so it took them quite a while to dig the trench, they really worked a long time. My complaint came at the end of the job, it was late and they were finishing in the dark, but it seemed they really wanted to hurry and finish that night instead of coming back the next day to finish in daylight. The result was the yard was not put back neatly, and the brick they had to remove were laying around. Plus they had the corner sprinkler too close and we will have to trim the brick to make it fit. Later, we found out that two of our sprinkler housings were cut through by what looked to be the end of a shovel ... we had to dig them up and replace them. I'm giving three stars because up until the end I thought they were doing a very good job. I understand they are not landscapers, but they didn't prepare me for the mess we had to clean up and some of it I don't feel we should have, including the broken sprinklers. I do want to say that I did not call them to complain about the above issues, so they have not had the opportunity to fix it (tho we should not have had to).

Joshua at Blue Planet is great. A pipe broke in our condo and he came and fixed the pipe. He was very helpful, explained everything and went above and beyond by fixing the pipe through an already cut hole (albeit small) than tearing out more things to reach the pipe more easily. Highly recommended.

Very professional, personable, knowledgeable, from Mike who I made the appointment with, to both plumbers who worked on my plumbing problem. They answered my questions, checked all possible reasons for the musty smell under my kitchen cabinets, and then cleaned the drains, which had never been cleaned in 37 years, and checked for any problems present in the drain. No drain problem found. Price was reasonable.

So our sewer pipe needed replacing and I had no idea who to call. I looked on homeadvisor.com and found Blue Planet Drains & Plumbing. I called them and a few others. Got multiple quotes yet Blue Planet was the lowest. Only issue I had was that I was quoted one price but then received a voicemail telling me the price was about $4000 more. Problem was the original quote did not include the entire re-piping, it was only for a portion. The tech called to warn me of the adjustment in price and apologized profusely asking that I call him so he can explain. When I called, understandably confused, they agreed to meet with my husband on his day off and were able to come to an agreement which included repiping the water lines!

The work was done in the specified time frame and Tito and Josh were simply awesome. They stayed late into the night to get as much done as possible. They even added a gas line which we asked for last minute on what was supposed to be their last day on the job. They did the gas line the following day.

Some people may have just moved on to another company once they received that price increase, but hey, we're all human and we all make mistakes. What impressed me was that they acknowledged the error and worked with us to resolve the matter rather than try to place the blame on the customer in some way. I'm glad I gave them a chance because now I have brand new water lines and more importantly PEACE OF MIND!

After contacting several different companies who were unable to help me, I went with Blue Planet Drains and Plumbing for a specialized type of water heater. I found Blue Planet to be very responsive and professional. Because the water heater was leaking and had caused water damage, extensive repairs were needed. Blue Planet coordinated all aspects of the job with my insurance company. Brian came out and did a great job of installing a temporary water and managing the details of the work required. I feel fortunate to have dealt with Blue Planet since they had my best interest at heart throughout the entire process. I highly recommend this company!

Hacks itching for quick cash!

I had a draining issue so I hired Blue Planet to come out to resolve it. They put a camera down in to the main waste line to see tree roots that had broken the main waste line. They wanted $6,000 to replace all the piping which I thought was very odd considering the house was built in the 70s and there aren't any big trees around. So I had another company come over - A. O. Reed (an honest union shop in Kearny Mesa) come to see what they could do. They put their camera down to find only egg shells, coffee and bits of paper towels no roots at all!!!!

a few weeks ago we had a drain problem which caused a mini flood.
We had another plumber sent out by my land lady and he supposedly fixed the problem.
About a week and a half later we had another mini flood.
We again called our land lady and she asked if we wanted the same plumber.
I was like heck no!
Not sure where she found this company but they were tons more professional.
He explained the problem in a way my wife and i both understood.
He even explained (without trying to make the othether plumber look bad) why the other fix did not work.
Not sure on prices because that was done on my landlady's end.
When i was an apartment manager we used a veriety of other plumbers.
Blue Planet ranks pretty good with the others ive used.
I would deffinetly recommend them.

Excellent service...hands down! I was experiencing slow drainage in two of my bathrooms, and being the DIY person that I am, I tried to fix the problem myself. After doing what I could, I realized it was more work than anticipated, so I called BPD&B. Yukio came to the house and snaked my drains and now both bathrooms are draining perfectly. Yukio also replaced my 20-year old water heater for a more efficient one the same evening. I originally thought I would have to schedule another appointment for this service, but Yukio was up to the challenge the same day. We are very pleased! I highly recommend this company. Service was exceptional, price is fair, work is excellent and Yukio even left me with little to almost no clean up. Finding a plumber who leaves the work space clean is a rarity! This is my second review of Blue Planet Drains & Plumbing and I am still so overwhelmed by their quality service and friendly staff.

On this occasion, the thermostat went bad on my water heater and again, Blue Planet immediately came to the rescue. Miguel arrived promptly on time and went right into replacing the faulty thermostat. Quality work is Miguel's hallmark as we was very diligent in doing the job the right way, not the quick way. He quickly replaced the thermostat, and was cheerful throughout the process. My water heater is back in operation and everything was simply perfect.

This company is fantastic. Quality and honest work without exception. They remain my go to for good reason. And thank you again, Miguel!!

Nobody ever looks forward to a sewer line issue, but that's what my old cast-iron pipes gave me. Blue Planet answered the call and showed up with the A-squad. Field supervisor Mike has the experience and knowledge to handle the most daunting of projects. I wish I had used Blue Panet instead of another plumbing service first. The technician, Yukio Tamaura, analyzed our bathroom shutoff valve problems and recommended a more thorough approach to correcting them then the other firm. He then went on to correct the problems, leaving us with peace of mind regarding the work he did. I'll use Blue Planet in the future and look forward to having Yuki do the work.

I would give them no star to be honest.

Don't waste your time calling this company. They don't know what customer service is, and they don't respect appointment times. I had their technician Nick scheduled to come from 12-2 and he called off work that day, so I got a call at 0930 saying they can't send anyone else. So of course i had to reschedule again and this time I asked for the 10-12 timeframe. Their manager, Luz, was so disrespectful that she kept talking while I was talking and she was being rude to me. I was trying to explain that Nick is already late for his appointment with me and that I had made plans after his time slot.

This company is obviously unprofessional and not customer-friendly. Too bad Google advertised this company first on my search, I should've called another company. Not to mention that they were offering me a crappier faucet for $160 or $260, like seriously? I opted to go to Home Depot instead and grabbed myself a cheaper faucet for less than $100. Don't take their offer for replacement parts until you've looked around. I know they're out to make money but they're abusing their customers.

UPDATE: they cancelled my appointment after I posted this review on their social media accounts. Btw, it's my right as a consumer to provide my opinion. This is a free country after all!!!

I understand your point as a business, however, if you really wanted TO earn my business, your Manager Luz shouldn't have canceled my appointment after I expressed my comments on your social media accounts. Who knows, I might have changed my rating had you shown me that your company was worth waiting for. Our storm drains were clogged to the point where I thought the only way to fix them would be with a Jack hammer, destroying our deck together to them. We tried a regular plumbing company (Anderson) and they used a snake with no results. They said the roots were so bad that the drain was useless.

2 years later I called Blue Planet and they sent Abraham. He was polite and knowledgeable and he had the drains cleared within an hour. It was amazing. The hydro jet took care of it. No Jack hammering, no damage. It was a complete success.

I highly recommend Blue Planet and Abraham.

Blue Planet is the only plumbing service I will ever use again. Manny was incredible - great customer service, explained the process thoroughly, and completed the job quickly, cleanly, and for the exact price as quoted. He even did a few extra things that were simple fixes and needed to be done, even though they were not part of the original scope of work.

I called Blue Planet to get a second opinion after having a half-baked job done by another rip-off scam company yesterday. Those guys told us there was immediate work that needed to be done at a cost of almost $14,000! Manny from Blue Planet came out and did twice the work, plus fixed the $14k problem (which turns out wasn't even a problem), for less than the other company.

I could go on, but you get the point.

If you're looking for plumbing and drain service, look no further. Blue Planet is the best!

I know there is a lot of distrust out there for plumbers so if you need a job to do and worried, look no further. I highly recommend Blue Planet Drains & Plumbing. We had a leak behind the wall in our kitchen and were freaking out since it was the weekend and it was high pressure leak.

I looked on Yelp and found Blue Planet Drains & Plumbing and gave them a call... I am so glad I did. They advised they were very busy but they could have someone at our house by 3:00pm. The Service Technician (Marco Valdouinos) showed up at our house shortly before 3:00pm and was extremely professional and courteous. He explained in detail what needed to be done to fix the leak and what it would cost. He was very open about their cost structure so I did not feel as though we were getting cheated or anything.

The water line that needed to be repaired was made of special material which he did not have available in his truck and since it was the weekend it would be Monday before he could repair the line. He did offer to put a patch in place and return Monday morning 9:00am to repair it. We agreed and he put a patch on the line and within 20 minutes and was on his way.

He arrived at our house at 9:00am and again was extremely professional and courteous. He shut off the water and within 1/2 hour the line was repaired and he began to clean up and was on his way.

I would highly recommend Blue Planet Drains & Plumbing to my friends and family. If you do call on them ask for Marco... he is a good guy

Our experience was great with BP Drains & Plumbing. Our technician, Mike, was extremely nice and explained issues clearly. We had a tankless water heater expertly installed outside of our house, and Mike even provided a few other pro-bono fixes to help us repair some smaller issues. He worked quickly and kept us informed of his progress with texts, calls, and pictures to make sure we were satisfied throughout the process. I had a leak under my kitchen sink. I called my home warranty company was told they would make it a priority. 12 hours later no call. I called Blue Planet after seeing them on help. On a Saturday morning, Maria answered. I explained that I had company from out of town and was hosting a Super Bowl party so for me it was an emergency. She told me she'd call back within a few minutes and I was so happy she did as she had Service Technician Mike to my home within 30 minutes. With Mike's expertise, he was able to diagnose and fix the problem within no time. He was a pleasure to have in my home and was great as he worked while my company and I were at the kitchen table. I felt totally comfortable from the time Mike came to the door and I will definitely recommend this company. Good company. Jukio is da man. He did a complete overhaul of plumbing. He dug up the backyard, cut through the cement and completely replaced all leaky cast iron with new pipes. Serious job. We had a water heater leaking and we found this company... as skeptical as We are, Blue Planet Drains & Plumbing caught our attention due to their reviews and most especially their politeness over the phone, they accommodate us instantly and don't have to wait for a week just to inspect our leaking water heater, they scheduled us the same day and found out that we have to replace our water heater ASAP, what's good is that they replaced it the same day!!!! Very satisfied with Blue Planet! Not only did they show up on time but they showed up earlier than their estimated arrival, and called me in advanced to make sure that was okay. Marco showed up and greeted me in a very friendly fashion and explained what the problem was and the best cost effective way to correct it. I agreed to his assessment and he fixed the entire problem within an hour. Now my bathtub and shower don't leak anymore. The guy's a pro! Friendly, fast, and efficient, with very competitive pricing. Okay so I am late in writing this review but I didn't forget about the exceptional service I received from this place. We were serviced on 12/7/21. A few days after my Wedding and 2 days before I left on our honeymoon our kitchen sink backed up majorly! We were stressed at the timing of this. My husband found Blue Planet and gave them a call and they came out that very same night (yes!). Mike showed up and he was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We have really old steel pipes that smells so awful when backed up. He did not complain and knew exactly what would work. Executed the job perfectly! Because of Blue Planet my husband and I were able to go on our honeymoon not having to stress about a backed up sink that would stink up our house while we were away. Thank God! And Blue Planet lol.

I am an apartment manager of a 12 unit complex. Had an weekend emergency and contacted Blue Planet. After meeting with the plumber who assessed the leak and bid the job, which we agreed to the terms. The plumber did not arrive on the job until after nine pm, at the time of signing the contact he ensured us that he was able to complete the job before nights end. At one am we receive a call from the plumber stating he would need to return the next morning. When the plumber arrived the next day at 12:30, remember the water has been off for over twenty four hours at this point, the plumber now is stating to complete the job it will now be twice the amount that the original contact was signed for.

Called to have our kitchen drain line cleared. Mike the technician sent was on time, friendly and knowledgeable. He initially snaked the drain and cleared the grease blockage. He then used a camera to examine the the entire line (clean out to street), which revealed accumulated grease in many places along the entire line. He recommended hydro-jet cleaning and I agreed. After cleaning with hydro-jet Mike re-examined the drain with the camera and we could see the line was completely cleared of grease from the clean-out to the street. Cost of service was $349.00. Very satisfied with service and cost and will use Blue Planet Drains & Plumbing again.

We recently bought a house and found out our sewer drains were in much worse condition that we thought and all needed to be replaced. It was a big project and sounded like a headache as new homeowners but we are so glad that we went with Blue Planet.

Mike and his coworker Ricardo (?) were great the entire time. They showed up early each day, worked hard, made sure we had water connected by the end of each day, and always cleaned up before they left. They always gave us updates about what was happening and what they finished each day. One of the reasons we opted to use this company was because of the trenchless repair, which they did really well (and hauled away the extra dirt at the end too!). We had other work being done on the house at the same time which they were able to work their schedule around, which we appreciated so much. They were also very mindful and worked really well around our dogs, which was awesome!

All in all, both my husband and I highly recommend this company and wish we could give them more than 5 stars! They made a problem that felt like it was going to be awful dealing with pretty painless in the end!

I woke up early Saturday morning to water all over my bathroom floor that had leaked out into the hall. It turns out that my roommate had flushed something down the toilet that was not supposed to be flushed. I had not experienced this before and did not know what to do. I was assuming that it would take all day to find someone, followed by several days of waiting for repairs.

My friend recommended that I call Blue Planet, so I did. I am so pleased with my decision! I was able to reach someone right away, which is surprising, because I called so early. They had someone come out just a few hours later to fix it!

I am shocked at how streamlined this process was. They did a wonderful job!

Recently our rental property was turning over and we thought we'd have the drains cleaned as a preventative measure. Not knowing anyone in the area a Google search showed Blue Planet had good reviews so we called them out. Manny from Blue Planet came out and was happy to clear the drains for us and he ran a camera down the main line which revealed roots in out main line. To keep a long story short, we discovered other plumbing related issues in this 62 year old Clairemont house and had Blue Planet take care of them all. They aren't the cheapest plumbing company around but we felt Manny was a straight shooter with us. Manny and his crew worked very hard, knew what they were doing and were respectful of us and our property. We will call on them again.

They were the only plumber in Chula Vista, who was able to come right away to my moms house to fix her drain/ plumbing issue. Miguel from Blue Planet Drains & Plumbing has been terrific. These guys were great. I had gnarly gas leak under my house. I called them up. They're at my house within 45 minutes Brian the technician got everything handled within a couple hours identified the leak quickly and prices were extremely reasonable. Brian's customer service was impeccable. super nice guy explained everything showed me the problem. I will use these guys every time I have a plumbing problem. Couldn't ask for better service

Found a very slow storm drain during last night's heavy rain from tropical storm. I called this morning and Blue Planet was able to accommodate within the hour! Made an appointment and technician Yukio Tamaura was friendly straight forward and professional. He kept working the storm drain with the hydro-jet and checking with camera until the job was complete and flow was restored. Appreciate Yukio's persistance and efforts - and thank you Blue Planet!

Was looking on yelp the other day for a plumber cut my mother-in-law's toilet got backed up. My mother-in-law has a senior person and she doesn't like to go with handyman type plumbers so blue planet plumbing came up on yelp they had great reviews and they advertised eight $89 special.

My mother-in-law's kind a shy around people so I had to wait for the plumber which was great because the plumber showed up five minutes before the appointment time. His name was Brian he was very courteous he was in and out in 20 minutes and the price did not change from what was quoted on the phone.

I highly recommend these guys Brian keep up the good work.

I shopped around with several different plumbing companies. These guys came out and confirmed pretty much the same problem the other companies diagnosed. The only difference was I got a better price (more than 2K less than the original quote) and the work one was completed in a day which included a ten year warranty. Aaron and his entire crew were extremely professional, and they did not destroy my landscape considering the work involved. I cannot recommend this company more than enough.

They try to sell you services before they even enter your home to look at your problem. Made my problem worst. Had a slow draining tub and sink and when they left nothing would drain. Water was coming up from the base of the toilet. Told me it would be $320 to run a camera and hydro something on top of the $210 they were charging me to come out and try unclogging it because they needed to use a different machine. Tried to explain himself how he wasn't allowed to go on top of the roof but did it anyway. I contacted their office to ask for a manager or owner and no call back. Just lost $210 for nothing. Money I could of used for Christmas but instead gave it to some money hungry company! They wouldn't even give me a quote over the phone. Their website says they use a camera to find the problem for free. When I asked the guy after he tried to unclog it he said no it's not free. That's where he wanted to charge me $320 more to do.mTheir web site also says they give you a call after their services and to this day no call..their website is full of lies. The only reason I called them in the first place was because of their good reviews. Now I know not to trust reviews. Worst experience ever!

Don't know who is writing all these complimentary reviews but this company is bad news! I had the first guy gave me a warranty on fixing an auto flush on a toilet because he didn't replace the flapper or flush mechanism. Sure enough his fix didn't work. When I called back 2 weeks later he was no longer with the company so they sent someone else. He tried to turn a simple replacement of a couple of parts into a major construction project. I showed him the door. There are plenty of reputable companies out there--pay attention to this review, Ilyana's and the others from real customers-- and call a different company.

I hate to report a bad experience, but I must. Moy arrived on time, but quickly tried to convince me that rather than a mere drain clearing with an auger, I needed to have him use a hydroflush to clean out the pipes as the house was old. I told him the pipes were actually only 5 years old, as I had them completely replaced. But he persisted. I refused, insisting that I merely wanted the kitchn drain unclogged.
He seemed rather unsure of himself, and hesitant. Strangely it was I who had to suggest I get a rug to protect my vinyl floor from damage by his very large auger. He didn't think of this. Then he needed me to supply him plastic bags for disposing of sludge residue.
I told him that my drain had 32 oz of liquid drain opener in it, from my attempt to clear the clog the night before. So when he vacuumed the water into a canister, I hoped he would be careful. But when he was returning the vacuum to his truck he trickled the very caustic chemical mix onto my vinyl flooring, and then spilled at least two cups of the liquid onto my fine wood flooring in my entryway! He saw what happened and didn't appear alarmed. I ran and got my own towels to clean up the chemical spill before it damaged the surface of the floor. He was unapologetic, but obviously embarrassed at the error.
My kitchen floor was left with grime and grease from his equipment, and I was left to quickly clean it up before further damage was done. He should have come prepared to protect the floor, as this work cannot be done without a mess occuring. I definitely cannot recommend Blue Planet, after this experience.

We had a water pressure regulator unexpectedly fail last night in our garage, luckily we were able to shut the water off before any flooding occurred! We called and scheduled a service with Blue Planet and they were able to fit us in immediately! Miguel was friendly, professional and had the right tools/parts to get our water flowing again! After the repair was completed he pressure checked our system to ensure proper operation and took the time to answer questions. Thank you for the prompt response, great service and fair price!

I called Blue Planet to get a phone quote because my toilet needed a new wax ring. The girl answered right away and told me a technician would call me right back to give me an estimate. Less than 5 minutes later Mike called and gave me a VERY reasonable and fair estimate. I went ahead and asked him what time they could come, he said between 3 and 4 pm. The dispatcher called just a few minutes after 3 and Mike was at my front door less than 20 minutes later. He got to work right away, he was very courteous, professional, super clean, and fixed my toilet.

The thing I loved most was that no one tried to upsell or upgrade anything. I was charged EXACTLY what was quoted. Mike was here for about 40 minutes and made sure I checked everything before he left.

I will DEFINITELY recommend Blue Planet and call them again in the future.

My complaint with this company is that they wasted my time two days in a row.

They were suppose to come out the first day and they never showed up. Tried calling them for several hours trying to figure out if they were coming or not after the three hour window they said that there employee would be there between. So four hours later a lady from the company calls saying that the guy wouldn't be able to come out because they are super swamped. So she ends up rescheduling the appointment for the following morning to be the first one on the list for them to come out to fix our water heater. So I ended up waiting again (was giving them a second chance). They ended up not showing up again. Same thing happened where they took four hours to call me back with the same excuse that they were super busy and couldn't come out to my house.

Total BS to me in a way. If you were SO busy, don't schedule more clients than what you can really handle. Just tell your clients the truth and tell us that you don't have an open appointment for awhile instead of wasting our time with having to wait for someone who won't even show up to begin with in the first place. Two days down the drain waiting for one of your employees to come fix the water heater.

Try finding a different company to go to, to fix any of your plumbing needs.

Blue planet helped me out with a sink installation and the service was top notch.

I've noticed that when I've had plumbing issues in San Diego, it's difficult to get companies to answer the phone, let alone come give a quote. Blue Planet was immediately responsive, and sent one of their best, Abraham, out to my home first thing the next morning.

Abraham was very friendly and respectful of our desire to be masked in the home, and he helped us with a sink installation that, let's just say was best left to the professionals!

Overall I was satisfied with how everything went, and I will reach out to Blue Planet in the future for my plumbing needs. The reason I gave 4 stars is that I think we were quoted a higher price than the work merited. Long story short, initially it appeared that it would require 2 to people to get the job done. The second person that showed up was a trainee and mostly observed Abraham.

That being said, another reason I'm going to stick with Blue Planet is that when I noticed a minor aesthetic issue with the sink, I called the same night of the install to ask for help. Abraham came back first thing in the morning to make it right, no extra charge. I really appreciated that, and, I think it's indicative of the quality of work that Blue Planet does.

We called Blue Planet for a leaking hose bib (faucet)
and they came out spent all day, kept having to leave to get other parts.
In the end they broke my shut off valve and wanted 300$ to fix it.
Told them that was not right the guy called the boss and she said to leave if I didn't want to pay. So they left me with a broken shut off valve and still leaking hose bib.
worst experience with a plumber ever.

I can not say enough good things about this company! What a breath of fresh air :-) We have been through so much with our sewer pipes, we constantly kept getting backed up and at the same time we were being charged an arm and a leg to unclog every time. Thousands of dollars later my husband and I decided that enough was enough and that we needed to fix this issue and be done with it. We decided to call 2 companies to have them come out and give us an estimate. We first called Rooter Hero which was a complete rip of! NEVER CALL THEM!!! They wanted to charge us $15K for replacing the pipes from the bathroom to the front lawn (only)....I nearly fainted when I heard that number. So when Blue Planet (Joshua and his crew) stopped by we didn't have much expectations except we were hoping to save a few thousand....well we ended up saving $7K by using them!!! They didn't cut any corners and it was clear that we had made the right decision. We are thrilled with the job they have performed! The crew completed the job in under 3 days and on the second day, they stayed until 11pm to finish the job so that I would not have to sleep in a hotel. Not only were they able to provide exceptional service but now I can breathe easy! Thanks Joshua & crew, you guys were excellent!!!

I am giving only 3* and not because it was their fault for not finding the leak, but for not telling me that they don't have the equipment for leak detections, once they arrived and they verified that there is a leak somewhere in my house (walls or slab), they told me that they need to call this other company to find the leak, in this case PULSE LEAK DETECTION (Donny Hendrickson) and I have to pay $310.00, so long story short, this company show up later and after 2 hours could not find the leak, even when right there was water coming between the wall and floor. Everybody just left, do nothing, and I just end it up paying $310.00,

Had an issue with a toilet backing up at a rental property on a holiday and was so thankful that Mike responded to my frantic phone call! Although he was on a current call he advised how soon he might be done and we made plans for him to be a backup while I was awaiting a response from the home warranty company. I hadn't heard back from the warranty company when Mike and I reconnected so he headed over right away. He explained what he was going to do and sent over images with a diagnoses within the hour. The diagnoses and repair were quick and very reasonable. His prompt response & actions have now secured Blue Planet for my future plumbing needs.

Spoke to Blue Planet's front office the next day to make the payment. Advised them that Mike could have easily declined my call and went home to enjoy the rest of his holiday. However, he came through and saved me out-of-pocket costs to put up the tenants in a hotel while waiting for the home warranty company to respond. Not only will I use Mike/Blue Planet for my future plumbing needs but also highly recommend them for yours.

I would definatly recommend these guys, my water heater stopped working right before my family came into town and these guys fixed it same day and for a lot less than I thought. I've also used them to fix my drain and they unclogged it in less than 30. Definately call them!

Great service. Yukio was our plumber and he was able to identify the issue and fix what he was able to do. We need a new faucet because the filter was corroded, but he was able to show us step by step guide as to what needed to do. He also replaced the trap in our master bed and it looks great and had no problems.

He quoted us a about $200 to $300, but charged us much less because we need to replace the fixture and he would have to come out next time.

Once we get the faucets that we want, we will be calling again.

A couple months ago I had a unit in my complex with a backed up sink. After calling numerous places Blue Planet was the only company that had time to come out. I directed him to the sink and he 'fix' the problem. The bill came out to $210 for a snake that eventually didn't even solve the issue. He then told me that because the sink didn't have a strainer he couldn't put a warranty on it. Is that even true? I wish he would have told me that in the first place cause then I would have gone with someone else.

Thank you to Mike and Rene. We had a sewage line blockage. Mike made a knowledgeable diagnosis. He and Rene removed the concrete and dug 6 ft to the pipe. It was a difficult dig due to the other layers of pipes in the way. They worked deligently and professionally. They fixed our sewage pipe and replaced our concete. They kept the area clean and finished ahead of schedule. We are very impressed and would highly recommend Blue Planet Drain and Plumbing.

Blue Planet came out to repair a service main to my daughter's and son-in-laws home. They said the pipe was no longer made and an entire line was needed from the main and redirected over the garage into the house, etc. Turns out the pipe was not out of date and had the break repaired by another plumber. Absolutely awful. They serviced our house for a clogged kitchen sink and then talked us into scoping and putting a line-out in the backyard. They tried to convince us to put in new pipes (so they could make more money, obviously) but they told me part of the problem looks like it might be in the city's part of the pipe (which we're not responsible for). I asked them to submit a plumbers report to the city because that's what you do when you discover an issue or potential issue in the city's line. They told me they would submit the report and we should hear from the city in a few weeks. I've called Blue Planet several times to check on the status of the report being submitted because it's been SEVERAL months and we have yet to hear anything. They always tell me they'll call me back but they never have. I wouldn't trust them.

I worked with Tito on some heavily clogged outdoor drains. He worked for hours into the night trying to unclog them, and when it go too dark to look at all possible options, he returned first thing in the morning with extra help until everything was cleared out, and kept me informed during the process via text/photos. He was extremely courteous and professional, and despite the problem being much bigger than initially expected, he didn't charge me anything over the initial estimate. I would absolutely trust them with similar work in the future.

Great group of plumbers to work with. I research extensively and always get several of quotes before I start any major plumbing work on my house, and Blue Planet uses top quality systems at a great price without sacrificing quality of work. I used them for a tankless water heater a year ago and just recently had them install a Halo 5 whole house water filtration system to improve my San Diego municipal water quality. Sean was great!!! I called blue planet plumbing yesterday to unplug a drain at a rental property I have and they sent out Mike Cuevo and he was the most professional person for draining service I've ever seen in 40+ years of doing business here in San Diego I'm a local contractor and the way he handled it and blue planet handled it was very professional.. Mike was very knowledgeable and helpful in in diagnosing the problems with the camera. I would definitely use them again they're on my recall list for drain services and plumbing.

My old water heater needed to be replaced and I opted to upgrade to a tankless water heater. After doing a little research, this company seemed to have the best reviews and I was quoted a very fair price. Scheduled the install and it was done in one day with minimal interruptions as expected. Honestly, after watching how technical and labor intensive the install was, I was even more pleased with the bargain I was getting. I'm very happy with the final product, as it works just as I expected. I get a huge space savings in my garage getting rid of the old tank water heater, and get unlimited amounts of hot water on demand, and hopefully some energy savings in the future. Overall, well worth the money. Brian, the plumber in charge of this install was great. He was very knowledgable and answered all my questions and concerns. The work also looks top notch. I would definitely use this company again in the future for my household plumbing needs.

I want to express my gratitude and appreciation for the professional work Yukio did on our rental property. After calling the scheduler on Saturday he arrived on time to work on a kitchen sink replacement that turned out to be harder than any of us expected it to be. Working with a rusted sink faucet and sink using the right tools he was able to remove the old hardware and replace the faucet with new shining parts. The scheduler and Yukio were very personable, knowledgeable, respectful, kind, patient and focused on the job. The prices for a rush weekend job were surprisingly low, but service was exceptional!!! We called the company on Saturday and Yukio came over on a Sunday to help us out and save the tenants Christmas Eve family gathering. Thank you!!! This company and personnel are amazing and worth a call!!!! They are now on out speed dial. Great job!

They came and cleaned the same drain multiple times at our condo units, within months of each other, each time about $400-$600. The third time they said they could not guarantee it would not clog again that night and that the estimate to repair was $17,000!!! Yikes. That was going to be a big hit on the homeowners association.

Got someone else out there and they got us fixed up for a few hundred dollars. They also showed us that Blue Planet was wrong on which way the pipe went and showed they were not even snaking the right areas.

I contacted the owner of the company and asked for a discount on the last bill ($600) since I had to get someone else out there 6 hours after he was gone to solve the problem. He hung up on me and turned it over to a collection agency without even a second bill sent. Said I was just trying to welch on the payment. It was not even my money, but rather the homeowner associations, which always pays its bills.

This company is unethical and has shoddy workmanship. You could do better with many other companies. I wish there work was as good as the artwork on their trucks.

We had water dripping in my garage and there's a condo unit above my garage, i had 3 Plumbers in a matter of 3 days to detect the leak, it turns out, none were able to find it, and i dont have my unit's Blueprints, I did some research Sunday afternoon and called Blue Planet on Monday morning, they sent me a Miracle worker Mr. Yukio in less than 1 hour! he showed up on my door smiling and prepared to face unknown situation, and didn't know what was ahead of him. the problem, took a little while to diagnose as it's a multi-unit and my neighbor had to also get his unit inspected, all the plumbers who came here said it was a pretty challenging job, but Yukio troubleshooted and persevered, it looks like he found the main source, we're hiring him to fix it, he is knowlegeable, honest, optimistic and quick-thinking, I'd like to keep this company to take care of my Plumbing needs for the future, thanks so much Yukio you made our day better, Happy Halloween!

If I can give Blue Planet zero stars, I would. The technician and his assistant came out last week. I won't give their names because they were both very nice, and I think the issue is with the company pressuring their plumbers to upsell the customer services they don't need. I had a slow toilet drain. The technician used a camera to look in my pipes. There were no obstructions, but he showed me a dip where one pipe slightly slipped out of the other. He recommended we hire them to dig up our concrete in our garage, replace that portion of the pipe, and then jet the house plumbing. The total was over $1500.00, but the tech told me if one of the other plumbers at Blue Planet came out, they would have charged me much more. Huh? My husband called Blue Planet and said we would have the repair done, but not the $399 jetting. The manager and the technician used all the pressure sales techniques (including upping the cost to $599 if we waited) to force him to have it done, but he was firm. This left a really bad taste in our mouths, but we scheduled this same plumber to come out and make the repair. He was 2 hours late, and during that time, my husband and I started thinking that what he recommended didn't make any sense because the shower and sink (not to mention all the plumbing downstairs) worked fine. It was just the toilet. We cancelled the service, and I called Palomar Plumbing (rated by many as honest) for a second opinion. Nathan White didn't try to sell us anything. He immediately removed the toilet and found a gigantic root, which he removed. Now we have no issues at all, and the charge was only $165.

Contacted blue planet plumbing because I believed I had an under slab hot water pipe leak.Mike showed up the next morning on time as promised. He used his detection equipment to determine where the lines were running under my slab and confirmed that I did have a leak. After spending between 4 1/2 to 5 hours on Monday and Tuesday morning determining this he was not 100% sure the exact location of the leak. So then he gives me the name and number of another detection service that that's all they do is detection to come out and confirm where the leak was. He also informed me that he was not going to charge me for the hours that he had spent so far. After the exact location of the leak was determined I called Mike back to give me an estimate on the repairs. He came to my home and sat down with me to discuss the different options and gave me several choices on the repairs. I decided to do a re-pipe versus a slab repair and I will tell you I was thoroughly impressed with his skills and professionalism. If I ever have another major plumbing problem that I cannot tackle on my own I would not hesitate to call Mike back. He not only did an outstanding job he also provided me the name and number of a company to do my drywall repair where he did the re-pipe. They were just as thorough and professional as Mike was and gave me a very good price for the drywall repair.

Since he had to remove my hot water heater to do the repairs he discussed with me that my hot water heater was 16 years old and that if I wanted to go get a new one he would install the new one instead.

Blue Planet Drains & Plumbing did a great job for us! We needed work done on our shower/tub, and we needed it in a hurry. We were closing on a refi and needed to complete our bathtub/shower in order to finalize. Because of the timing with other contractors, Abraham (who did the work) had to comeback a few days later to attach the fixtures once the tub surround was installed. Awesome! Abraham was courteous, professional and knowledgeable. He also arrived with the proper PPE (mask, etc) and was respectful with our house and, therefore, us. I highly recommend Blue Planet Drains & Plumbing-and if you get Abraham-BONUS!

Yes one star and that is only because they work on Sundays and did not charge extra due to the weekend. I was experiencing low water pressure at my kitchen faucet and I knew it was due to the valve being corroded and not being able to turn completely on. I considered trying it myself, but was concerned due to a copper fitting going to my dishwasher and not being adept at plumbing and being able to properly fix that if I broke that connection. Other than that, it seemed pretty easy to repair on my own, but decided to get a quote. Blue Planet came out and informed me that they could repair it the next day since they did not have the correct valve. I thought about letting them do it since I thought it was not a major repair and would be pretty easy and inexpensive to repair. WRONG!

Quote was $249.50. When my mouth dropped, the repairman said he would drop it to $249.00 and that would include him turning off the water supply and draining the system. (That would be going out to the front yard and moving a valve 45 degrees while having a faucet turned on). Yes, I know pretty scary stuff. When I told him I would wait he looked at his book and at a second price listed and told me he could do it for $204.00. (Why couldn't I get that price the first time?) That would be $189.00 for the repair and of course, would include a $15.00 'Truck Operation Surcharge. HUH???? $15.00 for them to drive their truck here to complete a repair? Are you serious? I have to tell you I seriously thought about calling the police for a crime report.

Well, I called a friend that offered to help me and went to Home Depot for the part, which cost a whopping $18.00. My friend came over and walked me through the repair and in about 90 minutes we had it complete. A few minor problems, but easily fixed. You could even You Tube it if you don't have friends that can do plumbing.

Now I know a real plumber could have completed the job in probably 30 minutes and granted they would supply the part, but $249.50???? Now, there is the argument that this is the market rate, but I also believe in a fair price for fair work. I am not necessarily saying Blue Planet is a bad company or they are not charging what other companies would charge. But if you want your company to stand out then use common sense. Gouging people just because you can is not good service. Two different prices and a truck operations charge? I just wonder what the owner would say if a company did this to his/her mother?

I was pleased with the work done by Blue Planet. We had a non-urgent blockage in our storm drain caused by a tree root (not knowing at the time the cause). Their technician came out on a Sunday morning for the inspection and told us about the hydro-jetting service. We scheduled the service and Mikey and his coworker came out to hydro-jet. It turns out the blockage was too severe so they had to dig. There was an extra cost for this service, but not too outrageous. Plus having the 10% discount helped. They came back out two days later to dig and cleared the roots from the drain and installed a new section of drain. They then finished the hydro-jetting to confirm there were no more blockages and everything was put back. Mikey and the others I dealt with were very friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend their service.

Ask for Mike. A pipe broke under my house and I got three estimates for the repair. Blue Planet's wasn't the cheapest, but two things really impressed me. Mike showed up on time and ready to crawl under the house to really looked at what the job involved - on a 95-year-old house, that's important because he had enough information to get to a solid plan and an accurate final cost. (At one point, I had three big guys from a big plumbing operation who wouldn't go under the house and estimated on the fly!)
He stayed in touch with the sewage clean up crew and came to work on it the first day it was safe, worked steadily and got us up and running. Mike showed me pictures of the work, including using the best straps. He removed the old pipes from the crawl space, told me about what he saw under there - a broken beam, and cleaned up.
And, when I was needlessly worried the next week, he came back to check the work. He has a pocketful of resources for the work he doesn't do - someone to patch the stucco, clean up the sewage, etc.
And he's a genuinely nice guy who leaves you feeling he does his best for customers.
Helpful. On time. Ready to work. Thorough. Communicates well. Cleans up. Extra resources. Fair pricing.

Be very careful when using Blue Planet Drains Plumbing company. They are quick to overcharge and run your credit card TWICE! They did not catch this mistake until a month after when I had to contact them and then only offered an apology. We had a leak in our backyard, which eventually led the water to rise up on top of the lawn and behind the retaining wall. Any homeowners can relate to the agonizing feeling related to this type of situation. We called about 3 plumbers on Saturday, and Blue Planet was the most responsive and accommodating, especially we placed the call over the weekend. It was agreed that they will send their technician out on Monday morning. The techs (Manny and Mikey) gave us a courtesy call before arriving, and arrived on time as scheduled. First impression, they looked professional, clean and well groomed, properly dressed in their work uniforms. They were courteous and their van looked well kept, which conveyed seriousness to us.

We addressed our outdoor water leak concerns with them, and they carefully listened to us. They then provided their feedback based on their expertise, speaking in plumbing language that can easily be understood :-). In the meantime, they also provided us some valuable education on other plumbing concerns (water regulator, valves, etc.).

As a courtesy, they were willing to locate the specific source of leak without having to dig first, which did not implicate any cost. They made some visual inspection and used some instruments, but unfortunately, they couldn't locate it exactly. They suspected that our leak had to be with a plastic pipe. They charge a fee/hr to locate a leak. We were a little concerned because we didn't know how long it would take for them to find the leak. Fortunately, they worked on it right away, dug through soils and muds, and took about an hour to locate the problem pipe. They charged us 1hr for the digging and finding the leak, plus the repair cost, which included all parts and labor - All in total came a little under $ 300, and they accept credit card payment.

We were happy and impressed by their professionalism, honesty, and efficiency. We would recommend them to anyone, especially Manny and Mikey.

I found Blue Planet Drains and Plumbing by accident. Scouring the Internet, and searching for positive reviews, was actually quite easy! I was on my over to our new home, and needed my new refrigerator hooked up.

This morning I sent a request on one those service websites, and within a few minutes, I got a call. And even though the call came in before 8 am, I was thrilled to hear from Alma. She took my information, and I was driving toward my new residence, when I got the call. Aaron was available! I couldn't believe my good luck.The plumber (Aaron) was waiting at my home when I arrived. This is unheard of in this day and age.

Usually, you get those ugly notices telling us, we missed our appt. It was pleasant, to say the least, and Aaron proved himself to be knowledgeable, professional, careful, and educational in letting me know what he was doing, and why. I was very comfortable and secure. It was obvious!, this guy knows his stuff!.

I need to compliment the great service and work received from Mike Cueva and his co-worker on my propane leak repair. Mike showed up on time, assessed the problem quickly, and provided an estimate including a senior discount.
He completed the work within the day including removing of hundreds of pounds of rock, digging an 25 foot trench and repairing the broken pipe by installing a new one, including the appropriate valves, done within 6 hours!
The next day after problems with the delivery of a new propane tank, Mike again stepped in and installed an additional extension of the pipe he replaced. Plus he assisted the propane company workers in placing the new tank and hooking up the supply lines of the tank.
I cannot say enough about the professionalism of this company. Thank you again Mike!!

A couple days ago my water heater gas valve stop working. I called Blue Planet Plumbing to get a quote Mike came explain me everything I need to know. I also get a qoute from The White Glove Guys but they are charging twice Blue Planet Plumbing is charging. In short I went and go ahead and have Blue Planet to install me a Tankless water. Found this company today on HomeAdvisor after finding a leak in my wall where the main water pipe enters house from the street. Set up a window between 1 and 4 pm on Home Advisor and got a call from this company that they could be at my house between 3 and 5 pm. Just got a call at 5:40 pm that they can't make it tonight and will need to schedule tomorrow. The person on the phone, Carmen, was super nice and professional and apologetic. But guess what? DON'T BID ON A JOB YOU DON'T HAVE RESOURCE CAPACITY TO FOLLOW THROUGH ON YOUR COMMITMENT! I get that they may have gotten into another job that took longer but under promise and over deliver and surpass the customer's expectations. I would never recommend this company ever.

My requirement was an immediate need for a drain unclogging and an over the phone the payment due to me being remote. The clogged drain also required a strong acumen in plumbing in order to determine if there was a bigger problem at hand. Not to mention that unclogging drains need expertise because I've seen inexperienced plumbers do more damage when unclogging a system of multiple drains. Blue Planet Drains and Plumbing delivered an immediate response and a professional experience. Not more you can ask for especially for a first time customer. I recommend them.

If you want a knowledgeable, reliable, timely and friendly plumbing company then Blue Planet Drains & Plumbing is for you. This is the second time I've used them and been completely satisfied. First time I had Moy who quickly found the problem was the toilet. He got a new toilet and installed it in no time. Today I had Yukio and he obtained and installed a water pressure valve very quickly. Best part is they explain everything to you, they are friendly and do it with a smile. They know what good customer service is. I've had several plumbers this year and spent a lot of money and still had issues. This is the company I will continue to use in the future.

Today I had clogged pipe in the main line. Once again Yukio came to the rescue. It was not an easy fix as this is an original cast iron pipe from 1959. Yukio has the knowledge and experience fix this. As always Yukio. I called Blue Planet to identify the source of a puddle at the lowest point of our property. The technician who came out initially suspected a leak and spent two days trying to find it, to no avail. Blue Planet apologized for the inconvenience and asked their supervisor Joshua to take a second look. Joshua was extremely professional and capable and diagnosed the problem within thirty minutes. He then purchased the required PVC piping supplies and personally designed a solution that would ensure we would not have this puddling problem going forward. Although I was initially frustrated with the two-day search for diagnosis, and the expense associated with that, I'm very satisfied now because the company found the problem, solved the problem, and waived the charges associated with the initial diagnostics work that did not identify the issue or further remediation. If I have a problem in the future, I will not hesitate to contact Blue Planet Plumbing again and will always ask for Joshua because he's a highly-skilled plumber, honest, and professional.

Blue Planet Drain & Plumbing is a good choice for your water heater installation. Abraham arrived promptly to give me a quote . He looked and acted very professional, dressed in a sharp uniform, looking clean cut, respectable, and observing COVID protocols. Estimate was reasonable. Abraham was knowledgeable and importantly he did the work too, along with his very technically competent and smart associate Moses. They tackled the project same day and it was done on time, professionally, competently, with no delays and no hassles .
Unit works and runs great. They removed old unit and debris they created. They also check outside water pressure to ensure it was compliant with new water heater. Gave tips on operation of new unit too. Total install cost was about $2500 for a 50 g Bradly White ultra low NOx tank. I am pleased with these two guys and how professional they took care of this install. I give them to 2 thumbs up and 5 stars ! Very reliable and trust worthy team.

I own a restaurant in San Diego county and had the unfortunate need for a plumber on Friday night in the middle of my dinner service. I really didn't know where to turn so I went on Angies List on line for help. I requested the help I needed and within 2 or 3 minutes I recieved a call from Carmen who I guess takes care of online requests and she was very friendly and helpful. She kept me informed on her process and set up a plumber for me to come out right away. Fast forward to Yukio coming out to remedy the situation. Turned out that I had a mainline clog and all my toilets were basically backed up. Yukio let me know exactly what he was doing the whole time. First he went in through the cleanouts to snake the drain but it didn't work. Then went outside to the parking lot, snaked again and still didn't work. Then he switched to a bigger, longer snake but unfortunately still couldn't completely reach the clog. He recommended coming back early in the morning and bringing a trailer mounted piece of equipment called a hydrojet. This needed to be done ASAP because I wanted to open the restaurant on time and I needed toopen with restrooms for my customers. By time I arrived the next morning, Yukio was back and working. He cleared the line with the hydrojet just like he said. Although obviously it did cost me some money, it could have been worse and now I know that my sewer lines need maintenance every year so this doesn't happen again. Thank you Blue Planet, Carmen and Yukio for getting the job done so quickly and professional. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good, reliable and honest plumber.

Called out Blue Planet to camera inspect a slow running shower drain that had been snaked by others without success. Tech (Mike?) arrived and said his camera would not flex through the shower p-trap, although dispatcher said it could be done. Tech stated his service call would cost $129 which is normally $89, but said my situation warranted the higher amount. I was left wondering who these Blue Planet people were, where did they come from and get their name? I said I called in to have a camera inspection performed to confirm or disprove a broken pipe below the slab, to which he replied he could not do, and that he was confident he could clear drain with his snake, and no charge if not successful. Tech spent an hour trying to clear drain by snaking the back to back bathtub overflow which had been running fine. I again stated that others had tried this, without success, and for effort I give him credit. Tech concluded that a pipe was broken under the slab and gave me an estimate to break out the slab and demo the shower unit for $4,800. How an $89 service call for a camera inspection turned into $4,800 repair was beyond me. I think a broken pipe is their way of giving up. My shower drain still does not run, nor was it camera inspected, which is why I called Blue Planet out in the first place. Tech said he needed to charge $89 for his hour there, and that he would get into trouble by his company if he went back with nothing. Tech tried to make the $89 charge sound better than $129, and I thought $0 was even better, and was what was agreed to before he snaked. I reluctantly paid the $89.

Talked to a plumber friend later who suggested putting a camera down the vent. Called dispatcher at Blue Planet and was assured they could do that. Second tech (Nick?) arrived and without trying, said camera could not bend through the vent, so was useless to even try. Why dispatcher did not say this? Now I was mad, and asked why he even came out. No payment was made this time. Later asked office for a refund of first visit, and they said checks were cut once a week and ours would be in the mail shortly. After three repeat requests, a check finally arrived.

called in the morning to see if I could get a techician to come over and see my tub issue. I gave them my location and they said that they can send someone over between 3-5pm. The dispatcher said that she will call be back to let me know when the techician was on his way. As promised, she called to let me know around 4ish, (I thought, wow! great communication). The techician was able to find the problem and took care of it right away. He was very professional and friendly and reasonable!!!!

Only a few months later the heater was broke again. I called this company they can't do anything except to charge the same amount money to replace with another one.

Called Blue Planet to install a new pilot light assembly on our 50-gallon water heater that had a dysfunctional thermopile. Our pilot light was erratic and would shut down at night, so we had cold water in the morning. It was only 2 yrs old with a 6 yr warranty. Called the mfgr, Rheem, and they sent us a warranty assembly for free. Parts and shipping are covered by the warranty but not labor. The original installer wanted $350 to install a simple pilot light assembly. And $200 more to order parts! Another company wanted $279 just to install. Blue Planet sent Yukio here, who arrived in 40 minutes. His quote to just install was far better with a 90-day warranty. And he was already here! Took him a little over an hour to install, and it's now working fine. We saved up to $350 by ordering ourselves and doing it this way! Yukio was very pleasant and respectful. If you have water, sewer, or drain issues, they're certainly worth getting a quote!

I had an emergency call on Thursday night my bathroom sink was overflowing and i had water all over my floors I called Blue Planet Drains & Plumbing and they responded fast the technician was great and very helpful and solved the problem right away. They gave me a reasonable price! I highly recommended !!!

Thank you so much to Mikey. I was having a problem with my toilet draining and was told, by another company, it was a problem with the pipe that was located under a concrete walkway. I was told it would be very expensive to fix. I called Blue Planet just to get a second opinion, and it apparently was just a simple fix. Instead of costing me thousands of dollars to fix, it cost me $119!!! I am so relieved and happy that this was not a big project like I was told it would be!! I will definitely be calling you for any further plumbing needs!

Very informative and helpful. My home requires a repipe from plastic to copper. They were honest about the project and what it would take to complete. They used descriptions that I would understand.

I would refer them to anyone requiring help with their plumbing.

Buyer Beware. I had a tankless water heater and recently used Blue Planet to get a bid on whether to install a water recirculation system to cut down on having to let the water run so long before it got hot. BP sent Brian to evaluate the situation. He said by installing a water recirculation system that would solve my problem. He said it would be noise proof so I had him install a new Act D'mand recirculating pump. After it was installed it was so noisy I could hear it in every room of my house and it kicked on and off every two minutes. He came back and tried to correct the situation but was not successful. I had BP disconnect the unit and told them to remove it . Liz from BP said I would get a full refund. I did not. They refunded the cost for the unit but would not refund any portion of the labor which was $1000.00. Do not get scammed by this company.

UNPROFESSIONAL!

Made this mistake of hiring this company to come out and clean out a clogged drain at our business. Initially the tech was friendly and gave us a discount off the work, got the drain cleared. But towards the end to the service the technician was unprofessional telling me he doesn't like unclogging drains because they do not make him a lot of money. I asked why did you become a plumber. Went on to tell me all the items he does like to do and how much money they provide. I chalked it off as him being unaware of his professional demeanor.

He left without giving me receipt.

I called a couple of days later to ask for the receipt to be sent via email. The receptionist was annoyed and hold times were over 15mins. When she finally did get to me I gave her my email. I never received the email.

I called again today spoke to Diana who is the Office Manager she was annoyed, her tone was rude and he answering was abrupt. I told her I called the week prior for the receipt and that I would like it sent. She responded by saying because we are short staffed. Not an apology, but an excuse. She proceeded to put me on hold, came back and took down my email. Said she sent it. I called back 5mins later to tell her I had not received it. Under her voice said What the heck. I spelled out my email letter by letter 3 times. Abruptly she said check your spam, check everywhere! I did so. She began to spell out my email when I caught the issue. My name is Cristina she had down PDistina. What? I corrected her and she said well its because when you speak to close to the phone I can't understand your pronunciation Let me tell you! I speak impeccable English and I know the alphabet and what each sound a letter makes. Diana is the problem, with her rude demeanor, annoyed, aggravated responses. I asked to speak with the owner, because he needed to fire her and get someone else. She laughed. I told her about the unprofessionalism of the tech and hers. She had a rebuttal for everything, & spoke over me. Never trying to smooth over the situation. I gave up. Not worth arguing with stupid. Instead I was crucified because I called on the 9th and not last week to complain about the tech. After I heard how it was difficult to get a simple email do you really think I was going to get a resolution from a complaint?

Lastly she couldn't get my email to send. I asked what was the resolution, could they mail it or drop it off. There wasn't, she placed me on hold again for what I do not know. And then said she would give me her email and she would respond to that. Which EUREKA! it worked. Good thing one of us could comprehend letters and sounds.

This is a joke not a company. I called them about a clogged area drain in my front yard, the lady on the phone said she will send me an inspector with a camera to perform a free inspection and quote me. The guy arrives without the camera, then he starts asking me what's clogging it? And where does it go?.... I wasn't sure who was the plumber, me or him? I mean if I knew what was clogging my drain, would I have called them?
I asked him about the camera and said he doesn't have it and had he brought it with him, it would've been $89 to inspect. I'm confused! The lady said free camera inspection and quote. What happened to that?
He ends up giving me a list of prices and leaves!
Wow! What a great job!
