We had the pleasure of working with Adam this week regarding some sewer line issues under our house. Adam quickly identified the problem areas and gave us options on the best way to proceed. Identifying the problem areas early probably saved us from having a major problem in the very near future. Adam is very respectful, honest, professional, and punctual. He kept us up to date throughout the entire process and completed the job in the time he stated. He was always very conscious of keeping our house clean and as unaffected from the work area as possible. This is a small family owed business which maintains those family values. If you're in the mountains don't hesitate to call these guys. They came out and gave me a free estimate on a septic pipe repair and fixed it a week later. Adam and Hector showed up on time and within two minutes of being here they started working. They fixed everything for the lower range estimate which we all know is rare. They were all done within 30 minutes. Responsive, affordable, honest, reliable, and speedy - what else could you ask for!
We had an upstairs bathroom sink that would not clear. Called Adam who made an appointment for same day around noon. He arrived on time, and explained the issues and options very clearly.
We went over all the possibilities, and sure enough, needed to do some extra work because the sink (a pedestal) had some corroded pipes along with the wall pipes which needed a serious clearing.
Adam did an excellent job with all aspects of the work, and left everything fixed and working properly. His communication was excellent and we appreciated his ability to explain what he needed to do, and then do it. Priced reasonably. Definitely go through all options in advance.

My kitchen sinks were plugged up and not draining. I contacted Bigg Tree Rooter after reading other Yelp reviews. Adam scheduled an appointment for me for the next day. Adam and Hector came out and snaked out the pipes in my kitchen. They also used a camera to inspect the pipe and showed me that I have a lot of grease build up in the pipes. I was charged $50 for a clean-out, and was advised to do a hydro-jet cleaning on the pipes. Adam quoted me that the $50 will be applied to the cost of the hydro-jet cleaning if I decide to do that service ($699). I also plan to have a water line added to my kitchen to have for my future refrigerator/freezer ($499). I was impressed with their professionalism and prompt and on-time service.
they are very professional and seems to care for the customers, I had sewage block and bathrooms were backing up. I was traveling and was not able to be home on time for the appointment, but Adam fixed and was even kind enough to send me pictures of the blockage, I would highly recommend them

Bigg tree & rooter was awesome . I had a few options but when I talk to Adam, he made me feel comfortable with his service even without getting a price first. The price was my main concern, and Adam told me to relax he would make sure that the price would be reasonable for me. He gave me the best deal from Angi's list. I was impressed that the job only took 20 to 25 minutes. I was very impressed how professional he was how fast he was, and how clean he left the work place it was like he was never here. I am going to tell all my friends-and family .I would definitely recommend him for all your plumbing needs. He actually did my garbage disposal thank you.

They fixed the problem within 10 min. Clogged bath tub drain special price of $50. They wore masks. Will totally use the company again!
Adam saves our families Christmas Holiday ! I called Adam this morning at 9:30am and he booked me a 5:00pm confirmation via text message . He was on time in a professional equiped service vehicle . He had all the drain/sewer cleaning snakes to clear out any problem . I've worked in the Alviso at the sewage tretment plant for 15 years - Adam is squared away and professional .
Our toilets, wash basin and tubs were backing up with drain water this morning ( nasty Stuff) . The wife was stressing . Adam and his assisstant cleared out the problem . If you have accessible clean-out and 1st time customer he charges Only a $50.00 fee ( usually $ 175- $ 250). He sent a camera down the line to identify my problem( roots ). His expertise statement I cleared them for now but they will be back so think about installing a clean out here : next to City's jurisdiction .

In emergencies, you tend to take what you can get. Fortunately for us we ended up with the best. Our on-demand hot water heater went out and Adam and his team responded quickly to get us taken care of. Turned out not to be a simple fix - Adam worked directly with the manufacturer warranty team to navigate to a solution and get us up and running again. Communication was amazing, professional and courteous. New customer discount was an added bonus. Will be using them again for future plumbing upgrades. I definitely recommend these guys.
Adam from Bigg Tree Rooter and plumbing did a great job from beginning to end. He got back to me very quickly after I messaged the company through their website. We set an appointment for the following morning and he showed up right on time. My job was not an emergency, and was mostly preventative but it involved removing and replacing the toilet so it cost a little more than I had originally hoped, but Adam did a great job. He discovered that the original installer made some not great choices around how to deal with a flange well below the new tile floor. He presented me some options for how to address this, which I will consider. He sent me photos of every step of the process and left the site cleaner than he found it! I recommend Bigg Tree Rooters and have added them to my go to list of trusted crafts people.

I will be saving their business card and recommending to everyone I know! I saw big tree rooter at a neighbors home and had to ask about their work. I was in disbelief when I read that it was home to the $50 drain cleaning. They came in and fixed my drain that had been clogged for months and at a great price!!! My husband was present and also commented their customer service was great and even cleaned the bathroom floor of the dirt they brought in.I am definitely saving their number and calling them next time!

I had an issue on Christmas Day with my outdoor plumbing. Big tree rooter and plumbing were very prompt to answer and super nice about helping out. Adam called within 20 minutes to check on my issue. I discovered the source of the issue myself and it was some thing I could fix myself. But the speed of their response, their transparency and general helpfulness was great and I would work with them the next time I have an issue.
I had an emergency overflow from a burst pipe in my master bath. We called Bigg Tree at around 9am and they said they could get someone there after 1pm. Adam actually ended up coming early and he was so honest and knowledgeable. He was so quick to point out what the problem was and he didn't try to up charge us in any way. Our bathtub that is located upstairs developed a leak. I contacted Bigg Tree Rooter & Plumbing (because of all of the positive Yelp reviews) and they were very responsive. They were able to come and check out our problem within hours of first contacting them. Hector and Blake were fast and efficient. They were also very nice and professional. They were able to diagnose the problem and gave us an estimate very quickly. As soon as I authorized the work they got started and were able to fix the issue in no time at all! It's so nice to have a working shower/bathtub again without any hassle. Faucet feeding the washing machine was leaking. Requested bids from Yelp. This company offered free estimate but declined to give a quote over the phone although I had sent a pix. Tech diagnosed that the faucet needed to be replaced and quoted $300 to replace the faucet. I was shocked.
I called another company called A.L Plumber which advertised in our community paper.. A. L. came and said tightening the connection could stop the leak. He tightened it a couple times and surely the leak stopped. A. L did not even charge us.
I do not think Biggs has the expertise to diagnose and offer simple fixes..

Adam was very responsive and professional. I put out my feelers early in the morning and within an hour he was at my home and working on it. Also gave me tips on what I can do short term and long term. Even helped me dispose of all the rags I had used the night before when I was trying to do it myself. Will definitely call him again.
We had a clogged drain in the bathroom of one of our rental properties so we called Adam. He handled it so professionally, and interfaced with our renter for the work as well as us for the payment. Adam and his crew were extremely great to work with. We contacted a handful of plumbers on yelp and Adam was the most responsive out of all. He had great communication. He was able to keep both me and my husband in the loop throughout the entire project.
Our initial appointment he provided us with different options which gave us flexibility on what we wanted to do based on our budget. At the end we decided to replace all our plumbing on our 1st floor. What we appreciated is that we didn't feel like he was trying to take advantage of us with the cost. On top of that, the job was done fairly quick. We were surprised how fast he got it completed. One major thing I appreciated is that he ALWAYS kept our space clean. We have a toddler running around so having clean space at the end of the day is important for us.
He was always on time and had confirmation/reminders sent out so we were aware of his arrival. Whenever we needed to adjust the schedule he always made it work. You can tell he cares about his customers and the quality of his work. He even helped educate us on some do not and to dos to make sure we don't hit future plumbing issues.
Our work required some sub-contractors which caused some hiccups in the scheduling. But overall, would definitely recommend Adam and his crew for any plumbing job.

I'm a little late here but better late than never. I was doing a DIY bathroom remodel and knew better than to do my own plumbing. We went from a tub to stand up shower. I sent a Yelp request to several plumbing companies and big tree was the first and most responsive. I spent quite more than I had expected but didn't feel ripped off or taken advantage of. I could've shopped around as big tree was not pushy at all. They were just super convenient and available to take care of my request same day. Anyway, the owner called me immediately after the job to see how things went and offered to come by to make sure everything was set before I moved on with my project. He made himself available for questions via cell phone for the future also. I trust these guys and would use them again in the future should I have any more plumbing needs. Adam came out to help with an issue we were having with our toilet, which was not flushing and filling correctly. He was able to help on the same day and arrived within the time frame he provided. He was exceptionally friendly and respectful. (I was so impressed that he put on disposable shoe covers when he came inside the house!) He was also clearly knowledgeable about plumbing issues. The price was reasonable, and billing was simple. We'll certainly use Bigg Tree Rooter & Plumbing again!
My garbage disposal broke and from the beginning Adam was extremely responsive. He was on time and texted before he arrived. He installed the disposal and everything worked properly. Unfortunately, it seems that the actual unit was a lemon. Adam gave me a 30 day guarantee so I called him back and without hesitation came back on the same day to see what happened. I ended up having to return the unit and buy a new one but Adam was extremely professional, responsive, and helpful with replacing the unit a second time for free. Adam and his team replaced part of a sewer line that was thoroughly blocked. Adam seems to know his business and has all the best equipment to do the job. When the job was finished, he ran a camera through the repaired line to show me that it was now very clear all the way to the main line. I am happy because both sinks that were draining very slow are now draining very fast. I received a one year warranty.

Great experience when replacing my water heater. From start to finish, Adam came in after I receive my order from Lowe's, he change the water heater out, took the old one away and even change the pipes in my washer. Will be a loyal customer for sure!
Responsive. Came when they said they would. In the process of fixing the problem an old pipe cracked. No problem they said. They fixed the pipe and installed a new garbage disposal at the same time at no charge! They want satisfied customers and we are VERY satisfied! A great team that does good work.

I needed help with several items in my kitchen after Home Depot installed a dishwasher and delivered a new refrigerator. The owner, Adam, took the time to explain the cause, solution options, cost (before proceeding with the work) and also provided tips for preventing future problems. I definitely recommend them.
Adam came out and gave a free quote, then same day was able to fix our kitchen sink as well as an upstairs bathroom sink. He was thorough in his explanation as well as his work. There was some gnarly stuff that came out of that Kitchen sink but it was taken care of swiftly and cleaned up nicely afterwards. Working with Adam made it extremely easy. Initially, I thought that the valve in the shower needed to be replaced which entailed tearing out the wall. I have had others come and tell me that is what needed for over $1500. Adam was honest enough to tell me he could rebuild the valve and had a couple different options based off of if I had the old parts or not. I had thrown out the old parts thinking they were garbage and luckily Adam had another set that was compatible with my bath shower valve. Would definitely repeat and recommend.
Adam is an extremely knowledgeable, and honest person who is not looking to take advantage of anyone.
I had called him to replace a broken garbage disposal. However, upon arriving and assessing the situation, he determined that the garbage disposal was not broken; Rather, the hidden breaker switch under the unit had flipped, resulting in it not turning on and appearing broken.
Once he flipped the breaker switch, everything began working as it should: No need for a new garbage disposal installation.
Even though he came all the way out to my place for a repair that I ultimately ended up not needing: he refused to charge for anything for his time.
Any other vendor would still have invoiced a minimum fee, or even the full amount.

Adam was the first one to respond to my quote request on Yelp and the first one that offered to come to my place to check out. That was already a great gesture for me to decide to go with his service at the time.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Adam for a $50 clean-out service, and I was extremely impressed with the level of service and expertise that he provided. Dependable, honest, reliable and great communication. I spoke to Adam and his team three or four days prior to them coming out. I had an emergency and I called five places Adam, is the only one that responded in a timely manner. After speaking with him the first time, I just automatically got a good feeling about him. So when he came out three days later, he was able to handle my problem within a couple hours. Adam and his coworker arrived promptly and after inspecting the leaking site he was able to provide a price match to another quote that I received. After a recent storm, Adam and Hector came out to help with backed-up outdoor drains.
In just a few minutes, they were able to locate an old outlet that had been buried under some dirt and was totally clogged with roots. They also installed about 5ft of drain line to fix a poorly installed Koi pond overflow drain. Everything seems to be working well, and hopefully, with the big storm coming tomorrow, I'll be able to stay comfortably inside, thanks to their good work!

We had a plumbing issue at our commercial property and Bigg Tree was the first to respond to our Yelp request. They were also the most thorough in answering my questions. Adam said he would be on-site the next morning between 10-12pm and I received a text letting me know when he was on his way. I love when our vendors are very communicative and do not leave us wondering. I found their service to be prompt and thorough. Requested a quote on a leaking garbage disposal around 7pm and got a response almost immediately. Got a plumber dropped by 10pm the same day to evaluate the situation. The same plumber came back the next day 9am to replace the garbage disposal and got the whole job done in 30 minutes. They even have the special for parts and labor for $400.

Very responsive and focused on the needs of the customer. Started our replacing a faucet for me. Kept working with them and had them install a Halo water purification system. The team was very professional!

Cons: Expensive. But worth it.
My experience with these guys was initially wanting to fix the clanking noise on my water tank, but one of the guys named Hector(the guy with glasses), since there are 2 of them named Hector, made me believe that repiping would do the trick and that the clanking would be gone. After the repiping was done, I told him why I still heard the clanking noises, and he then told me that there was sediment in the tank causing it. I wish they could've told me this before the expensive repiping. Still, I guess they needed a better understanding after the job was finished, so I'm giving them an ok score because at least I got a diagnosis of what needs to be done, but it was pretty expensive. 10k+ for the job.

Adam was awesome and professional. He answered the phone promptly and immediately was able to come out to run a free estimate for me. Upon inspection and running the estimate, he was able to price match a competing offer on the spot for me.

Adam is extremely professional, and does excellent high quality work! We had a major water leak in the water main to the house, and it needed to be fixed right before Christmas. The old galvanized pipe was leaking and hemorrhaging water. We got multiple quotes, and Adam was able to match the most competitive quote. Adam and his team also provided us with a whole house repipe. The work for replacing the water main as well as a full house repipe was scheduled immediately. Adam and his team finished the work including the full repipe in 2 days right before the holidays! Adam has integrity and was readily available when we had any questions or concerns. Adam, Hector, and the whole team is very meticulous and kept our house clean before and after the work was completed. We would absolutely use Adam again for any future projects, and would readily refer him to our family and friends.

Adam and Hector are great. They fixed our Main pipe leaking and re-routed our A/C drain pipe inside the crawl space. They've done professional work from showing up on time, documenting and doing payment High tech way, wearing masks and shoe coverings, and even cleaned my marble floor with cleaning solution! They answered all our questions and concerns with patients and clarity. They repetitively told us We will take care of you. and they did.
We totally recommend them, and would call them in the future.
We accidentally drilled into a water line while putting in a closet organizer. Water was spraying through the entire room until we were able to get the main water line turned off. Of course, this happened on a Sunday afternoon which made this an emergency call. My husband spoke to Adam. He called to see if a technician would be available and called us back immediately letting us know Hector would be there within 1-2 hours. Hector arrived a little early, was very knowledgeable and efficient, and he got our water back on and our wall patched up very quickly!!! Overall very thankful and happy with the service we received!

Adam was great. A couple of years ago during lockdown my husband had the great idea one time after he cleaned the carpets to take the water and instead of emptying it down the toilet like normal, to empty it in to the guest bath/shower. He clogged it and since we're tenants and our landlord makes us pay for plumbing blockages that are our fault we left it alone. Now guests have started visiting again I really wanted it unplugged. During the years we'd tried various products, I even bought an auger and tried that - nothing unblocked it and it was super slow draining. I knew it was just cat fur that got sucked up in the carpet cleaner so it just needs to be snaked properly. I called a few places, two quoted me $150-180 estimate , including one guy who said if that doesn't do it we'd need to remove the wall (huh?) as the fur would have hardened after all this time, and another said without my landlord's permission they couldn't enter. Finally the fourth person I called was Adam. He quoted me $50 - much more in my wheelhouse, he came the next day, spent about 20 minutes in there and hey presto. We have a guest shower again! My landlord hasn't given me any grief about it and $50 was a price we could afford and was fair. I can't say enough good things about Adam. He was punctual, reasonably priced, and I really appreciated how he turned up and straight away put booties on his shoes to spare our floors. I can't believe we left it this long, it was a quick easy job that didn't cost us an arm and a leg. Thanks, Adam!
Very happy customer! Got a near immediate response when I requested the quote on Yelp and was able to get an appointment a few days later. Adam fixed my kitchen sink, where I was having a slow drain/standing water. He got in there and snaked it really well to get all the crap cleared in the pipes. He cleaned up any mess it made and did a thorough test to make sure it was working normally. I appreciate the reassurance of having a 90-day warranty in case the clog reappears. Will definitely use Adam in the future!
Update: It has been over a year since BTR installed new plumbing. Adam remembered our family, and gave us a great deal on repairing our garbage disposal. It's nice to know that he cares about his customers. Most business owners could care less.

My plumbing system had a crack/leak way down below ground on the main water intake, thus no water in the house or for irrigation. Adam drove a long way in rush-hour traffic to inspect the problem, late in the afternoon. They worked until past 9 pm to get the repair job done. Very responsive, curteous, and professional. Highly recommended.

Local family-run business but still very professional and organized. They came on the early end of their estimated time window which I appreciate. Technicians were friendly and courteous and put covers on their shoes before entering the house without being asked. It was free for them to come out and diagnose the problem with my toilet. No upsell, they offered to run a test for $50 but there was no pressure and that cost was very reasonable. I will be calling them for future plumbing needs.
We had an issue with the garbage disposal and Bigg Tree responded right away to my Yelp request for a quote, even though it was a Sunday. The technician Hector came on Monday as promised - he came right on time, unlike how it commonly is with trades; you call them because they're late and they always say they're on the way but they come an hour later. Hector was like the car guys on KQED Sunday mornings and tried to diagnosed the problem by making various sounds like a bad garbage disposal. He found the cause of the problem and fixed it on the spot. The whole visit was less than an half-hour. No one tried to sell me a $400 garbage disposal replacement. Hector was indeed knowledgeable and knew what he was doing. I'm sure they'd rather do big gigs - so I'm thank you they took my little gig.
