Rodger's Plumbing

Had a sewer issue.  They isolated the issue and helped me save money by suggesting alternatives.

My job was hard.  I had a hard-to-detect leak in front of the house.  

Plumbers are in high demand, and I'm sure this company is no exception.  Most won't call you back promptly, but Rodger's did.  And they also ball-parked a range of what it would take to fix my problem - which is RARE, and makes it SO much easier to commit.  So before they even arrived I was impressed.

The crew was early, knew exactly what they were doing, and spent almost all day prosecuting my leak (which required them to excavate two completely separate areas of muddy garden).  Man it looked tough!

The final price was high end of stated range, and I was happy to pay it.  These guys are my plumbers now, and honestly...they should be yours too.

Was able to make it out same day and get everything done before I even made it home from work! And we had a lot that needed to be replaced/repaired! Will use again if necessary

With technology and competition growing daily, I believe that businesses offer the same type of service. The difference being customer service and quality. Rodgers offered me both. The walk through, explanation, as well as communication throughout the process made me feel comfortable from the start. I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends. Oh, I forgot! They were the most reasonable quote.

6:30pm suddenly there was no hot water at the house.. and we have a young baby!! I called the warranty company they said we need to wait because it's after hours, I called Rodger plumbing and Shirly answered, quickly she advised us what to do so we will get the hot water running, Thank you SO much!!  We will definitely save your number !! It's amazing to find truly good people here!!

They were great!  Responded via Yelp within an hour, came right over and did the job for less than I expected!  Will use again!

The plumber and his assistant worked hard and did a very good job. Also, cleaned up very well. The mark-up on the disposals was excessive in my opinion. Overall, expensive but satisfied.

Spoke to someone on the phone regarding the need to obtain an estimate. Emailed them the information that I had already received from another plumber. Rodger's Plumbing never responded.

Plumbing Issues? Yuck.  Finding someone to do it for you? Nice. Finding someone amazing to do it for you at a reasonable rate?  Double nice.  

MP and I recently bought a house and of course with a new house, comes new issues.  We needed to have some plumbing work done...some things had to be repaired under the house, our water heater wasn't to code (and really old), and little odds and ends.  

I have learned the hard way that you always get a few quotes when doing house work.  The first company I had out, quoted me over $2K for a new water heater and labor, and over $900 for the additional work.  Ridiculous. Rodgers?  Significantly less for a brand new, installed, to code water heater and about $400 for everything else.  Needless to say, I hired them on the spot.

Family owned company (which is always a plus with me), so honest and really knowledgeable.  We had one thing the home inspector said was an issue, Rodgers said it wasn't...that actually, it was quite common in homes.  Not to worry. Great!

Making the appt was easy and they were always on time! Stuck to their work and didn't take longer than was necessary to complete the tasks.

It was so nice to not worry about whether the job you're paying for, was done correctly by honest people...these guys are the real deal.

I have used Rodgers alot over the last few years for repairs. Always a good job and a fair price. Highly recommended.

this is the letter i sent to Rogers Plumbing today, after my service call this morning.

I had a service call this morning with your company.  I found you online, with a google search for bathtub drain repair and my zip code.

My service call was to remove and replace a bathtub drain that was corroded, with the cross hairs missing, that I could not remove myself.

Your two gentlemen arrived and there was an older gentlemen and a younger helper.

The two gentlemen were clean cut, and looked nice, got to work, and apparently the drain was so corroded that it was not coming out.  The older gentlemen left to call for another tech to come by with their tool, while the younger helper stayed inside and kept trying.

Here is where it gets interesting!!!  

I was sitting in my bedroom right by the bathroom and just letting them do their thing.  The older gentlemen left, but the younger helper kept working.  He didn't know I was right in the next room listening while looking at emails.  He was working so hard.  Groaning.  Trying.... Resting for a second.... trying again with all his might over and over and over and over.  For about 15 minutes.  Or longer.  He stayed with it even though it seemed impossible, and he was apparently putting a great amount of effort and energy to it.

Takeaway...   this young man, with no one watching (he thought) could have not tried so hard.  He could have taken a break.  He could have given up.  He could have doddled.  HE DIDN'T!  He kept trying very hard, knowing no one was watching, and he finally got it loose.  (I was silently praying that he did, so he would feel good, and my drain would be fixed.)

I work with and help manage building engineers in high rise buildings in my job.  They rarely work this hard!
I want to give this young man the highest praise possible for what I witnessed this morning.
I hope everyone in your company, including the ownership can read my letter.
This is the kind of thing that is really inspiring to see, and I am certain this young man will be successful in whatever he does.

Consumer beware of this company.  While we were happy with the service and the technician, the price charged was far in excess of the work performed.  We called Rodger's Plumbing for a simple kitchen faucet installation.  They charged $689.00 for the work.  Ridiculous! Will not use in the future.

I'm in Charlotte and have a home in Dallas.  I was informed that water was running out of the bathroom and into the living room. They came over within a couple hours and fixed everything right up with no surprises. I'm very happy and will use them forever. Great family type service!  Thank you.    Km.

I initially called Rodgers plumbing for help with a gas valve leak on my water heater. Shirley was very helpful in getting someone to come out same day. Within minutes of Robert, the technician, leaving after successfully, correcting a loose pilot light, I realized I had, a leak in the wall.l due to baseboard installation that impacted the pipes. I called Shirley back very quickly and she resent Robert back to my property to solder the pipe that was busted. Their professionalism and urgency in responding to both of my service calls was incredibly appreciated. Thank you so much!
