Hello I started working for my self when I was attending college full time at Los Angeles Trade Tech working towards getting my A.S. in the plumbing field. after I graduated college i decided to give it a shot at running my own plumbing company since i had been working for myself for quite some time. I recently got licensed and bonded last year in June and so here I stand running my own small family business.

After reading all the reviews this guy had I was expecting good service. What I received was the opposite. This guy said he would be there between 4-4:30. I waited and texted him at 5:30 pm and received a text about 20 min later saying the was still at another site. A courtesy call or text would have been nice but I didn't get one. He then said he would call me after he was done. That never happened either. If you have a plumbing issue that you need to get fixed go somewhere else as this guy is unreliable.
Bernal's Plumbing did a great job putting in a new toilet, fixing a leaky faucet, and cleaning out a drain. Frank was professional and explained everything very well. I will definitely use Bernal's Plumbing again!
Frank was prompt, fair priced, clean shave, respectful, got in got out quickly. Everything I was looking for in someone I let into my home. Good quality work, will have Frank back in the future.

Great service! Had our hot water tank replaced in no time on a holiday. Very quick to respond.
Called frank one day to come by and work on some piping that needed to be changed in the bathroom. He came right over the next morning and got the job done.
If you want something done quick, right, at a reasonable price give him a call.
I highly recommend him.
Frank did a great job replacing our shower mixer and pipes. He even got us a great deal on the parts. He's very professional and we would definitely hire him again.

Bernal was contacted for some work around the house, immediately received a response and an estimate. I called Bernal's Plumbing, a second time to install an air gap for the dishwasher and new sink faucet, no leaks and everything is good to go for a reasonable price. If you need some plumbing work done, definitely call Bernal, he's reliable and quick.
I would definitely do business with him again if his services are needed.

Frank was absolutely amazing. He was extremely responsive and went above and beyond. I was helping my mother troubleshoot her water heater problem and had gotten a quote for $800 to replace the gas control valve. I spoke to Frank who kindly agreed to come and give a free estimate (second opinion). He arrived to my mom's house within an hour of when I spoke to him and called me back to tell me that everything was fine and nothing needed to be replaced! He even called the water heater manufacturer and confirmed that everything was fine! It turns out there was probably air in the gas line which had worked its way out. He was extremely gracious and did not charge us a penny. If my mother ever needs a plumber, we will be calling Frank!!
I can't say enough good things about my experience with Bernal's plumbing! I wanted to replace my old tub unit with something new and fresh. I am so happy that I went with Bernal's plumbing. Frank is honest, trustworthy and conscientious! He is also very experienced and good at what he does! My bathtub looks beautiful! I couldn't be happier. I kept walking in to the bathroom just to look at it! Frank was also super courteous and cleaned up after his work, which has not always been the case with other people I have come in contact with. Because of this, and many other reasons I would highly recommend Bernal's plumbing! From now Frank is my go to...and I will recommend him to any of my friends who may need a plumber.
Made an appointment to unclog a toilet. Never showed up never called. Tried calling no response. Don't waste your time.
We had two problems. One was the leaking water from somewhere. Frank found the problem was from loose one of the faucet at bathtub. He fixed right away. The other problem was slow toilet. At first, he tried to use the snake to fix but he found the toilet itself had something stuck in it. He recommend to replace it. We agreed. Then he got the new toilet from the store and installed it in about one hour.
Frank and the other staff were very professional and honest about charge and very friendly.
I will recommend them to everybody.

They Rock!
Please people beware using this plumber and his crooked employees. They were sent by my landlord to install a new bath tub and repipe the home. It took them a month to finish the repairs, we were left without a shower for two days. He had told our landlord we had a shower, that was the first lie of many. We were left without a sink for the entire time of the repairs. On top of that they broke the toilet and we had to be flushing with a bucket of water. They didn't want to replace it until the owner approved it, regardless of them damaging it. They didn't show up for two weeks and each day was a different excuse, they finally returned and kept taking a day to do a small section of piping. They dropped my mothers dentures and damaged them, I let the owner know and he never apologized or offered to pay for them. They used our ladder to do their repairs, used my moms wooden antique chair as a stepper. They then advised us it would be done before thanksgiving and they didn't finish. The owner of this plumbing company sent a employee to paint the house for the sections of the repipe that was done and he stole my dads toolbox. I would never use this plumber or recommend him to anyone. Please beware and letting him or his employees in your home

Bernal's Plumbing was super responsive!
Had an issue with a commercial toilet and a urinal and Bernal came to the property and fixed it within a few hours.
We had another toilet blow washer and Bernal came back to the location within a couple hours to repair it. Also diagnosed a larger issue with the water pressure in the building. Highly recommend!

I did some minor updates to my guest bathroom and needed a faucet and toilet installed. Francisco provided a reasonable quote and completed the work timely and when done, cleaned up the area and disposed of my old toilet. I will definitely use them again in the future.

I've dealt with other plumbing companies in the past and they're all pretty much the same. Trying to jack up prices on the smallest things and getting you to fix things that don't need fixing. I gave Frank a call after finding him on YELP and now I have my go to guy for any and all plumbing needs. I like the fact that he's upfront with you and honest. He'll tell you what needs to be fixed and explain to you the problem so you understand what's going on. He's got great customer service and his pricing is awesome. I was extremely pleased with the work he did at my home and since referred him to other family members who were also pleased with him. Overall excellent job man. Thanks again for your help

frank was super responsive upon initial inquiry, and turned up the very next day to replace a pretty antiquated gas valve that the delivery team of my new range wouldn't install on. he was thorough, patient - very patient (he so kindly tolerated my dad's chitchat, veteran stories, and light teasing) - and prices fair. super nice guy, great work - would recommend and call back again if needed without hesitation.

Bernal's plumbing is fantastic. Frank Bernal the owner is quick to get back in touch and always gets to the house fast. He does excellent work and takes my calls or texts at anytime and responds quickly. He is extremely reasonable in prices and goes the extra mile to make sure you're happy. Don't bother with those big plumbing companies as they completely over charge. Frank has been helping with my plumbing for 8 years now. He never does any unnecessary work. I highly recommend having Bernal's plumbing as your go to Plummer. He's the best!

Frank is absolutely fantastic - he has become my go to plumber for the 3 houses we manage and an apartment building with 22 units. Frank is extremely timely, always arrives when he says he will, he is very honest in his work and will tell you what the problem is and how best to resolve it, and best of all, his pricing is extremely fair and reasonable. Needed a washer drain put in and checked out this contractor. Frank knew exactly what I was talking about when I called him. He even gave me a reasonable estimate over the phone. He upgraded my washer drain, removed the cast iron pipes and then closed it all up. Frank is polite, friendly, and easy to work with. He cleaned up the debris and even reconnected my washer. Payment through Zelle, was super quick and super easy. I totally recommend Bernal Plumbing.

Wow. I really wish I had reached out sooner! Frank responded to my request and fixed my issue in less time than it took other companies to even respond on Yelp! A shower in our home had been leaking for quite some time, the handle not tightening properly, nor the water ever fully heating. He responded to my inquiry in less than 5 minutes and happened to be in the area on another call and was able to see us within the hour. Long story short, it seems like prior repairs on that shower had not been done properly. He was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what needed to be done (and at an extremely fair price at that). Not to mention he's a super nice guy as well which is also a plus when working with professionals. Don't let prior reviews dissuade you from giving him a shot. I'd venture to assume those issues/employees have been handled in years past. I will be saving this business to my favorites and calling them directly for any future plumbing needs. But he had an unlicensed guy do my repipe i was left for the weekend with only a toilet and sink. Then the job took double the time. One night the kid was here til 9pm. This was end of Dec 2022. I just received my final receipt. I paid on time in dec 2022. My fridge water line. I have to remove the turn handle to turn the water on because it too close to the wall. This was a mess. If you use the company ask for a license plummer.

Frank communicated very well during the early part of my selection. We agreed on a time when he could have access to my rental property by coordinating with my tenant. He showed up on time, worked professionally with the tenant, evaluated the job, contacted me with the details of the repair. Upon approval by me, completed the work on short order, advised completion, and we took care of the payment process smoothly. I am definitely putting him on top of my list for future needs. Really great to have found him after having some very horrible other prospects I ran across during my search.
Frank deserves 10 stars for customer satisfaction and excellent quality of work.....PROJECT: Removed old fiberglass shower wall / bathtub combo unit. Installed a new acrylic combo unit.....He was very patient with me, a very picky homeowner. He replied to my text messages. He did the project by himself. I was very amazed with how he worked despite the heat in the bathroom. He covered my floors and stairs before beginning the project. He was able to take the shower walls and bathtub upstairs through our narrow stairs without damaging the item or hitting my walls. He cleaned after he was done. I am very happy with what he did. I highly recommend him.

In October of 2021 Frank Installed my new Noritz tankless water heater. I wasn't thrilled to upgrade the pipes from 1/2 to 3/4 but he advised me that was what code is. He suggested my 25 year warranty would be no good of it weren't installed 100% to code.
He did a great job then at an incredibly good price.. and he was right about the warranty. Last month, the heat exchanger stopped working. It was Frank to the rescue again.
Thank you Bernals plumbing for the great hot water.

We had a great experience using Bernal's Plumbing. Our house required a full RE-piping. Mr. Bernal was thorough and fairly priced. Most importantly, the project was 100% complete and done well. Mr. Bernal went above and beyond our expectations. He completed extra jobs without an additional cost. This project took place during COVID, which meant Mr. Bernal needed to work around our family's work/school at home set-up. We had no issues.
Bernal was very professional and time efficient with his work. He has great pricing as well. Definitely going to use him again when other problems arise.
Frank, the owner of Bernal's plumbing is the man. I have been using Frank now for about 7 years for all of my plumbing needs at my own home and also at rental properties of mine. He is always fair, honest and most importantly does great work. Super easy to communicate with as well via text or phone call and a new bonus is that I can even pay via PayPal! His rates I also find to be very fair for what is done.
I'm not one to always recommend someone but I definitely endorse Bernal's Plumbing without a doubt!
Had Frank come out for a clog in our kitchen sink that we were unable to clear ourselves. Super responsive, picked up the phone as soon as we called and was able to come that same day. Showed up right when he said he would and was friendly, fast and easy to work with. Great job not only clearing the clog but also adjusting/replacing the pipe. Would call him again for whatever we need in the future.
I had no hot water . I phoned Bernals pluming and they came out today. He actually relit my pilot. But warned me that it may go out any time again.
They are very friendly, knowledgeable, on time and he gave me an honest quote for a new water heater. I will definitely call him again for my plumbing needs.

We had a water heater replaced. We got three estimates, and Bernal`s was easily the most affordable. The job was done quickly and professionally. Our service man was friendly and explained everything he did. The job site was left very clean. I couldn't ask for anything more. This was the first time I have used these folks, and I will certainly call them the next time I need a plumber.

I called Frank for an estimate on a job for a water heater on a rental property and he did a very good job. Unfortunately, when I contacted him for a W-9 he never replied. He also left one of my tenants waiting all day (and most of the evening) without any communication. When I finally received a text from him, he told me he was still stuck on a different job and recommended that I use someone else. That call should have been made before the evening. I ended up having to spend money on an emergency plumber for after-hours services. Simply unprofessional and I will not be using his services again.
I am so pleased with Frank Bernal and his service. He is a man about his word, reasonably priced, thorough, helpful, and professional! He made sure we were educated about our pipe issues! I definitely recommend him for your plumbing needs!

I am in the middle of kitchen remodel, and I needed 2 gas lines addressed. 1 needed to be capped and the other rerouted so that gas range would fit in the designated space. He came out and handled the job rather quickly and replaced parts where needed. Great job.

Frank and Orlando did a great job fixing the gas line for my fire fit. They came out the same day I called them and replaced 10' of pipe. It works great now, without any leaks. Deserves NO stars. He lied telling me my water heater was 10 years old. I'm not a plumber and even I know where to find the MFG Date: 7/2016. Never me gave me the old parts he claimed to have exchanged and charged me twice and still didn't get the water heater working. And littered my front yard of cigarettes buds. That's disrespectful.
Stumbled upon Bernal's Plumbing while looking online for a plumber. Over the phone, Frank quoted me a very fair estimate. Once he arrived, the service was very prompt and professional. He not only repaired my initial problem but also fixed my garbage disposal and replaced a broken clean out plug at no extra charge. I just recently moved into this neighborhood so I'm glad to have found a reliable plumber on my first shot. Bernal's Plumbing is definitely being added to the address book.

Frank is a lifesaver! We had a contractor start and never finish a job and he rescued us. He went above and beyond all expectations.

Had a terrible clog in my Toilet. And when I say terrible, it was terrible. Tried all the home remedies, even Drain-O. Nothing worked so, I decided it was time for me to call in a plumber. Frank was recommended to me by my neighbor who had the same water leak problem as mine. His Yelp comments were very good so I was convinced to hire him to fix the water leak. My good and positive experience with Frank was the same as the others. He is very knowledgeable about his job, hard worker, very professional, good communicator, honest, conscientious, very transparent. He is very friendly that I felt we knew each other for a long time. His price is very reasonable and he gives receipt invoice with detailed explanations. After a day's work, he would always clean his work area and talk to us what has been finished and what is expected to be completed the next day. I would highly recommend Frank to anybody who has a plumbing problem.
One month ago, my sprinkler pipe was leaking so I called this business to ask for an estimate and they came to my house right away and fixed the leak. After he finished, he showed me his work and it looked great! He replaced the whole water faucet even though I didn't ask him to but he did it anyway and did a great job and made me very happy and satisfied. I highly recommend this business for anyone looking to fix their sprinkler pipes. You guys won't regret using this business.
Had Frank install a condensing tankless water heater and water softener at my new home. My water heater had a built in recirculation pump. He removed the two old water heaters and got everything installed pretty good, it's a bigger job than it sounds as it entails installing a new exhaust flue, drain lines for the water softener and condensing drain line for the water heater. We did have some minor issues but Frank came back out and easily corrected the problems.
