Ended up canceling, because we figured out the issue. But we wouldn't have figured out the issue if it wasn't for his advice!

Also, I called about 5 different electricians. Not only is he available on weekends, but no one can beat his prices!

I was looking for an electrician to install a security camera outside of the house and Tom responded to me very quickly with a quote. I was very impressed because none of the electricians I contacted responded as fast as Tom did, in fact, some electricians didn't even answer my request. The quote was given virtually, and he never changed the quote he gave me over text. He was very nice, polite, and honest, he did a great job. Well done! Thanks Tom

We recently purchased a brand new dryer that unfortunately stopped working after a few weeks. I first contacted the vendor for servicing, but they claimed that nothing was wrong with the dryer. They recommended that I contact an electrician to inspect the circuit breaker box because a fuse inside the kept popping every time the dryer was plugged in to the outlet.

I reached out to Tom, and he responded almost immediately with a breakdown of the costs/diagnostics. He stopped by the house the following morning and worked through issue, guiding me along the way. I am not an electrician, but it was actually very interesting learning a bit about how the wiring in the house works. He was certain that the issue was with the dryer because there was power running through both the circuit and dryer outlet. But to eliminate the possibility of the issue being with the circuit or outlet, he  went to Home Depot to purchase a new outlet and fuse to test them. Not to our surprise, the newly replaced circuit breaker kept popping which meant that the issue was with the dryer (..be cautious when buying a dryer from Home Depot due to their 48 hour return policy..).

Tom was super friendly, professional, and really went above and beyond to figure out the issue. He even did a quick inspection of the wiring in the garage and added some electrical tape on a wire where its casing had been scraped off over time.

Highly recommend giving him a call. He will be my main point of contact for any electrical issues going forward. Thank you again, Tom!

I lost power on Christmas Day, checked the whole house and reset the circuit breaker - nothing still no power!

I called Tom the next day to come fix the issue, and turned out there's another breaker that I didn't know about!! He saved my Christmas holiday and was so patient teaching me what to do when this happens next time.

I have ongoing issue with bedroom light keeps flickering and found Tom on yelp. He gave detailed instructions on how to fix without charging me anything. He is very knowledgable and professional, would recommend to anyone who's looking for electrician.

Our rental house began flooding at the lower level due to being on a slope and having a very wet winter.  I had to hire a company to dig a massive trench, install a French drain and a sump pump.  The contractor does everything except the electrical and the sheetrock.  I hired an electrician to come to the job site on the final day of the project so he could meet with the contractor and understand the electrical needs of the project (placement of the exterior outlet, GFI, dedicated circuit, etc).  The day he was to show up, I received an email from him, he had to take his girlfriend somewhere...  I was left scrambling for another electrician who would do the work pretty quickly.

I began looking on Yelp and calling nearby electricians that had good reviews.  That is when I found Tom Concepcion.  Tom and I spoke about the job and when he could complete it.  He understood the urgency and was well versed in sump pumps as well as what the job would entail.  He immediately inspired confidence.  Tom and I video chatted so that I could show him the area and the distance to the circuit breaker.  Tom was easy to speak with, humble yet confident and arrived to the house exactly when he said he would.  He completed the job with proficiency and skill, running wire around my house in a neatly placed piping that arrived at a perfectly placed dedicated outlet.  How lovely to have found an electrician that is reasonably priced and highly skilled that does what he says he will do.

I had a problem with lights dimming through out the house. Called PG&E
and using binoculars said everything looks good. (Binoculars really?) called Bay to Bay Electrical and Tom checked my circuit box, cleaned connections and said if you still have the trouble, call me back. The problem was still there, I told Tom about PG&E and the binoculars, he laughed, went on the roof fixed the corroded neutral connection, and the problem was fixed. Great work by Tom!

He was super helpful and informative, I have called him for a couple of different projects and quotes.  Most recently called him to help me with a 220V receptacle for a car charger. Would recommend him.

I contacted several other electricians before I connected with Tom.  The other electricians were not available immediately and some did not do any carpentry.  However, Tom made himself available on a Sunday to replace the electrical panel, painted and replaced the wooden electrical cabinet door.  He even bought the materials before I had a chance to give him my confirmation to proceed with the job because the store was closing on a Saturday so that he could do the work the next day, which was Sunday (electrical store closed on Sundays).  Tom saved the day because if the corrosion causing electrical blockages were not removed as soon as possible, we would continue to have power outages.  Tom is also very conscientious.  He worked long and hard to complete the job in one day instead of two.  Everything went smoothly as well.

I would highly recommend Tom if you need a reliable, honest, professional electrician with very reasonable rates.  I will be using him again on other jobs because a good, dependable and trustworthy electrician is hard to find.

Half my house lost power. I spoke with Tom over the phone and texted him to schedule an appointment. He came and diagnosed the problem, turned out half my main breaker was fried so he changed out the main breaker. He is a funny guy, fair on price and showed up on time. Definitely an honest contractor that won't make stuff up and charge you extra. Recommended.

Hands down the BEST service we have ever experienced.
Tom and I communicated throughout the week and he  helped me troubleshoot our electrical concern. He was available to swing by on a Sunday and found out what was wrong with our garage immediately. He gave us a quote and we decided to fix it sign Tom because we needed the garage fixed.

We used him a few more times and he seems to be getting more expensive.

Get quotes from other electricians.

Called Tom at Bay to Bay when half the power was out in my 91 year old Dad's house. I live an hour away, so I quickly called Tom. He was there within a half hour and diagnosed the problem. He also called PG&E and reported an issue, he immediately reported to me that the problem was reported and charged a very fair price. My Dad was very satisfied!

We needed an available electrician on a Sunday for a second opinion regarding our electrical issues at home and thankfully, found him on Yelp. We appreciated how quick he responded and took time to listen and explained everything to my husband. We were glad we consulted him to make sure they were in conjunction with the first electrician we hired. Definitely would call him if we need help with electrical issues and I recommend him too!

I had dimming lights through my entire house every time an appliance came on. Called PG&E and he checked the outside connections using a binoculars from my deck. He said your house connections look good, but there might be a problem on the pole. After climbing the pole, he said the neutral looked a little corroded and cleaned it. If the problem is still there, call an electrician. The first two electricians couldn't find a problem and said we need to check every outlet and switch for a loose neutral. After reading reviews on Yelp, I called Bay to Bay and the electrician (Tom) checked it out and laughed when I told him about PG&E using binoculars. Guess where the trouble was? A corroded neutral on the outside connections to my house. Tom fixed it and problem solved. Bay to Bay is in my opinion, hands down the best.

Absolutely excellent service. Quick response, pricing more than fair, honest and ethical. Could easily have added plenty of charges, as it was a fairly simple fix of what could have been a very costly problem. Can't imagine going elsewhere.

Tom is an amazing electrician.  He helped us install 15 LED recessed lights in our living room, dining room and kitchen.  He takes care of his business and is very kind and helpful.  It was enjoyable helping him as his assistant to make sure everything went smoothly and on time.  He is very quick to respond and delivers.  Tom is our electrician!

Just called Tom this morning on a weekend and he came out to my place within an hour to fix two issues (a socket and a hallway switch that weren't working). Turns out there were larger underlying issues but Tom didn't break a sweat tackling and solving the problems. He's super professional and courteous, and is very honest with what can or can't be fixed. I am very grateful that I was able to meet him today, and I will definitely going to call him for any future electrician-related needs. He's the best!

This well deserved review is a long time coming.  

Tom was by far one of my favorite contractors during my extensive house remodel 4 years ago that lasted 9 full months. I personally managed all of my contractors, so I had direct, hands-on experience working with Tom on a day to day basis.  I have referred Tom many times to great success.

Pros:
+ He has never once flaked on me, very dependable
+ He is honest and extremely fair, and will give you options about what you could do
+ He is meticulous and detail oriented
+ He does good work
+ He provides realistic timelines to set expectations properly
+ He has a sense of humor (which although isn't as unimportant, it makes him a pleasure to work with!)
+ His rates are extremely reasonable - I did multiple competitive quotes both during my remodel as well as a few months ago, and he has always been much less expensive.

I continue to use Tom for miscellaneous projects - new outlets/lights, new dedicated circuits...even after my house remodel has been completed.  Today, he is installing a new patio light and repairing my skylight transformer issue, which is why I remembered to post this well deserved review!

Tom knows what he is doing. I bought my first electric car, and asked him to install a charging outlet at home. I am very glad that I found him for this service. The price is also reasonable compare to other electricians. He is a great guy.

Tom did an excellent job in adding electricity and TV cable to my shed which was around 20 ft from my house's main panel.  His price was also one of the lowest quotes I got. He even referred me to a good drywall guy which I eventually hired to finish my conversion project.
