The team is nice enough but the workmanship is horrible, especially for the price. We hired All-in-One to install some recessed lighting and outlets inside our home as well as upgrade our electrical panel on the exterior of our home. For the lighting/outlet install, instead of using any kind of drywall saw or cutting tool, they just used a hammer to put holes in our walls and ceilings in order to run wiring and install switches/lighting. This left our home looking crazy and made it unnecessarily difficult to make drywall repairs. Also, a number of the recessed lights they installed were not even symmetrical.

On the exterior panel install, they swore up and down that the existing panel could not be replaced without major rework to the wall. So, thinking it was my only option, I approved the location of the new panel off to the side. However, I absolutely did not approve them coming out of the wall at an angle with that large flex conduit the way they did. After addressing these issues with them, their only response was that they could relocate the panel for the same cost as the original installation.

Overall, it became clear to us that All-In-One Electric only cared about getting the job done as quickly as possible and had little to no respect for our home. They made it clear that their aim was to do the bare minimum as long as it was up to code.

I would not recommend their services to anyone after this experience.

All-In-One Electric & Lighting did the electrical hookup and the ground lighting for my hot tub, and I couldn't be more satisfied with their service! Oliver and Debbie were very friendly and patient with my questions and worked with me on ideas for the lighting. I highly recommend this company!

I initially contacted them to come check out my electrical panel, as I was getting central AC installed and was unsure if I needed to upgrade it in order to handle it. My first point of contact was Debbie, she was a source of honesty and a breathe of fresh air! She helped me to the best of her ability over the phone, but ultimately ended up sending their technician Oliver out to our home to check it out.

Oliver arrived at my home quickly and on time, all while being such a joy! He's is extremely kind, and above all else, honest. He told me that my panel wasn't in need of an upgrade and should handle everything just fine. That was a decent chunk of money he could've made, but chose to help us out instead.  

A couple of weeks later, my husband expressed interest in running ethernet cables through a couple of rooms in our house, as well as wiring his home theater set-up in our walls for a cleaner look. My first thought was to call back All-In-One to help us with the job. Oliver + crew came out, finished the job effectively, efficiently, and the cost was great.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience all around, and they've made loyal customers out of my husband and I! Thank you guys!!

What a great experience with All-in-One Electric & Lighting in Long Beach, CA.  This last Saturday, November 7, 2020 we had a partial power outage in our home.

I went around our home looking to see if I could find out the reason for our partial power outage.  

After resetting our circuit breakers we still had a partial power outage.  

I contacted an electrician we have previously used leaving a message about our outage.  After not hearing from this electrician I contacted our neighbor asking if they could recommend an electrician.  She recommended I contact All-in-One Electric & Lighting in Long Beach, CA

When I called All-in-One Electric & Lighting it was late Saturday night so I left a message.  

Then Sunday morning I received a call from Debbie at All-in-One Electric & Lighting.  I shared our problems that we had a partial electrical outage asking if All-in-One Electric & Lighting could help.  

Debbie immediately recommended I contact SCE as a first step because if she came to our home to look for the problem it would cost us a service call and maybe SCE could fix the problem with no cost to us.

Oliver is the man!  He's come out to our house three times in the last month to quote as we wrangle with the scope of what work we want done in our house.  The last time he came out was on a Sunday, just after Christmas.  He's honest, bright, cheerful and a joy to deal with.  And he knows his craft well. And I write this review having not even pulled the trigger and hiring him for any work so far.  

He offered prices and solutions with our budget in mind and truly strategized with us in a way that made us feel completely at ease.  I can't say enough about what it means to trust that you are not being looked at as a business transaction but as a customer - in an old school sort of way.

His office staff (Debbie) was very responsive too in booking appointments and following up in writing with quotes in a timely manner.

So if you are shopping around for an electrician, I can vouch for this place leaving you with positive energy after the experience.  If we do indeed figure out what we want done (electric wise) and hire them, I'll post a follow up review.  But I can sense nothing would tarnish the shine I already feel for them.

The most honest electricians in the region.

We're super researchers, so when we had a problem in the house, we contacted half a dozen electricians to come out to give us an estimate. Two of them told us we needed a $12,000 - $15,000 full house rewire. Another suggested a full overhaul of the house with solar upgrade for $28,000. We were in shock over the estimates. Another came over and had to be begged to go into the attic to look at the junction boxes, where we knew we had some issues that needed cleaning up (from both the home inspection and from having another electrician here months before). That estimate came out to be a few thousand dollars, but then at least we had a better feel of the issue and what we considered a more reasonable range.

Then we got to speak to Debbie at All-In-One electric. She's an absolute superstar. She spent nearly 30 minutes on the phone with me asking all the right questions and pointing out some flaws in the logic of some of the estimates we were getting: You are in a new house, which means you passed inspection just a few months ago, right? If that's the case, there's no way you need a full re-wire. You probably don't even need a partial rewire. But we'll take a look. Her questions narrowed down the problem and she said she'd get Oliver out the next day for an estimate.

Oliver showed up early and immediately went straight to the attic. When my wife thanked him for that, his first response: how can I possibly give you an estimate if I don't look at what the problems are? He took my wife into the attic and had her hold the wires, showing her what was good, what was bad, what needed immediate work and what didn't need work at all. He said: I can't give you an exact estimate until we get in there, but you're looking at less than $1,000 and probably a lot less than that.

To go from $15,000 full rewire to less than $1,000 -- and to be COMPLETELY sure he was telling us the truth was not only financially invaluable but so reassuring.

Oliver and his colleague showed up early for the fix, immediately got started, were here less than an hour, explained everything they did in clear, concise language and our bill was next to nothing. Their willingness to illustrate what was happening and explain it in laymen's terms was refreshing.

We won't have to do any more research for our next project. All-In-One is our only call. And we'll save you some time - they should be your only call too when you need an electrician.

These guys are awesome! Our kitchen outlets went out on Tuesday night and my husband called them the next day. They were not able to come on Wednesday, but we were fine that. Oliver came on Thursday and couldn't trace it by himself, it was a 2-man job and would come back the next day. Oliver came out and was able to fix it in about 20 minutes at a reasonable cost. Oliver was awesome and he even grounded an outlet for me. He also gave me great advice for charging my Tesla. We will definitely be coming back fir when we are ready for an install on a 240 outlet. I wish I could give him 10 stars!

Just wanted to take a minute to thank Debbie and Oliver for helping me out with an electrical problem in my house. Due to various reasons my availability to get work done was limited, but Debbie was able to work to find a time outside of their normal working hours to help me out. Oliver came out, examined the problems, explained what needed to be done, and able to get our problem taken care of in a timely manner all with a good attitude. Very much appreciated! I'll be using them again.

Wanted to install recessed lights in my kitchen and living room, so I requested a quote on yelp. Debbie got back very quickly with pricing details and we scheduled an estimate the next day. Oliver came to scope the project and was amazingly helpful and offered tons of advice and his own opinions for design options. Then the project installation was so quick and easy by Oliver and one other person. They were polite, clean, fast, and everything came out great.

Wow, just wow! All-in-one provided a stellar service first by Debbie responding right away in the kindest way ever, secondly by coming the very next day (Labor day) and thirdly by Oliver's honesty in solving the problem of the new portable ac tripping the breaker by running it off a higher amp outlet using a 12/3 SJTW 15ft extension cord. My cost was zero and his honesty priceless during this heatwave!

It's rare that I write reviews because rarely do I have an experience worth reviewing.  All-In-One was definitely worth  reviewing.  From my initial contact with Debbie to the response from Ollie and Neale, the experience was first rate.  Debbie was upfront with the estimate fee and what that all included.  She was able to accommodate my schedule and gave me a two hour window in which the crew would arrive.  Yes, you read that right, only two hours!!! She also sent me all paperwork in advance for me to review, and made contact a day before the crew was to show up just to remind and confirm the appointment.

The tradesmen arrived a half hour early.  Ollie and Neale, who between them had almost 60 years of experience could not have been more professional and friendly.  They identified the faulty outlet (although a bit more involved) and gave me several options for repair.  They even recommended the less expensive repair which led me to believe they were there to help, and not just there to make a buck.  They had the repair done quickly and checked that everything was in good working order before they left.

I don't plan on needing electrical service in the future, but I'll definitely be calling the kind folks at All-In-One if I do.

Oliver was able to fit us in same day and came in the door ready to go!  He reviewed some of the concerns / questions I had, confirmed that everything was working correctly, presented me with a few options, and left within 10-15 minutes telling me my handyman was doing everything correctly and I shouldn't be concerned.  There was no charge for his time spent at the house, and I was impressed with Oliver's knowledge.  I will be happily calling All-In-One the next time I need any electric work done!

Great service and unbelievably honest.  I brought them out to bid rewiring a 4 unit building in Long Beach which was not going to be inexpensive. Oliver looked at the project and thought it was not necessary but made a couple of small recommendations to consider in the future if we start to have problems.  Both Debbie and Oliver were responsive and felt really good about the entire experience.  They followed up and were on time with a friendly and helpful approach to customer service.  Will be calling them again in the future for other electrical projects.

I would technically give them 4.5 stars, but I'll round up to 5 because my only complaint is minor. They seem to only take checks which is a bit annoying in 2017...

Had a great experience with both Debbie and Oliver.  We have a plug in hybrid and needed to have our charger relocated from the back of the property to the front.  

Oliver came the same day and gave me a very fair estimate.  I was able to schedule the work to be done within a week of the initial assessment.

We had a great experience with All-In-One Electric.  Seeing that they were a local company with great Yelp reviews, I called and was lucky to have Debbie schedule Oliver for an hour the next day to replace a few switches and outlets throughout the house and answer my safety questions. Oliver took care of my original issues, gave great advice and even installed a new porch light (twice!) that I sprung on him at the last minute.  The first porch light I got from Lowe's was defective but fortunately I had a backup from Home Depot that worked like a charm.  Such great customer service and professionalism ... I will definitely use them again!

Oliver is an amazing electrician -very knowledgeable, fast, kind, caring and honest...he did electrical and lighting work on my house and it turned out excellent, I'm very happy with it and the lights look great!! First of all, All-In-One was very responsive in getting an appointment scheduled with very little lead time.  When Oliver showed up, he was very honest in telling me that I didn't need to spend $1000s on a new panel, but needed a dead panel cover that was out of his expertise.  Although I didn't utilize him this time around, he would be the first I would call in the event that I needed an electrician.

I needed to have my ancient electrical panel upgraded, so set about taking bids. I used Yelp to select my candidates and all candidates were highly rated, however, All-In-One really stood out when it came to the bidding process. Almost no one even mentioned that most municipalities considered such an upgrade would require a permit and an inspection. Most did not even mention the need for a permit, unless I asked, though one or two did say that I should get a permit, but I would have to handle it . Basically, it was up to me if i wanted to run the inspection gauntlet.

However, All-in-One was different. Oliver came out and confidently assured me that it was a slam dunk and would take less than a day, but that I would require a meter spot from Edison and a permit. Oliver in fact was not interested in the work, if I was not interested in a permit. He was refreshingly frank about that but assured me that he and his office would handle that permitting process.

I decided that given the fact their bid was competitive and only marginally higher than the others I was considering I went with the man who was most honest about the possible obstacles. I am sure glad I did choose Oliver and All-In-One Electric, because  I definitely got my money's worth. Debbie, in the office, did a fine job of scheduling the inspections and helping me through other aspects with Edison. Oliver was also instrumental in getting the permit and speaking to the inspector to get him to sign off on everything.  

A bid from All-in-One is a FULL service bid.  You truly get your money's worth when it comes to All-in-One because the bid includes Debbie as the inspection wrangler and Oliver as  inspector tamer .

I needed a light uninstalled and a ceiling fan installed within a super tight timeline. Although I contacted a few electricians via yelp, only All In One replied quick enough to get the project completed in time for our move.  The staff and electricians were on time, quick and professional. Looking forward to working with them again!

Oliver did excellent work at my home, installing a NEMA 14-50 outlet in my garage for fast EV charging and mounting and wiring up a ceiling fan in my master bedroom by accessing my attic. I highly recommend this company for your home projects.

I had lots of odds and ends that needed to be dealt with but my main issue was that all the outlets in my kitchen went out at once. Debbie was able to schedule me quickly and was pleasant to deal with. Other companies on Yelp were less so. The day of my repairs, we gave Oliver a list of things that needed to be done in order of priority. He quickly checked them off my list. My kitchen issue had two options to resolve it. Both were reviewed with me before proceeding. The last and lowest priority item was much more troublesome than I wanted to deal with considering I am looking to sell my property in a few months. Oliver was honest about the amount of time it could take and gave me options without milking me for time. Good service overall. I will definitely be calling again for any other electrical work I may need in the future!

Contacted All In One through Yelp and met Oliver a do it all guy.He came out looked at job installed the wire and piping with his partner and came back for inspection and of course passed. Along the way we had a few issues with inspections but through it all he took care of any and all issues.Great company with great folks working for them.Professionals from beginning to the end.I will highly recommend them to everyone who needs an Electrician.

Called and asked a quote from the lady who answered the phone, she was rude and inpatient with me on the phone. I would not recommend.

The people on the phone were very nice. Debbie tried to help me troubleshoot my issue. The 2 men who came out were very friendly, full of energy and found the problem quickly. They answered my questions kindly and did not treat me like I was asking something silly. I strongly recommend them for your residential electric needs.

I decided to replace the radiant ceiling heater in my condo and had my usual company come and bid a replacement wall heater.  I hate getting bids because I never know what a fair price is but they quoted me over $1700 and the heater was only $200!  $1500 for labor?  How long does it take to install one of these?  
So I got some bids and lo and behold it was a ridiculous bid.  All in One was very responsive and prompt, helped me find a good wall heater since the $200 one wasn't even highly rated and quoted me $400 for labor which ended up only being $355 because it didn't take as long as anticipated.  I appreciate the honesty and professionalism.

Oliver came out to install a new panel and 240v outlets for my electric car charger. Awesome communication by Debbie and very professional arrival, execution and installation. Took a job that required creative thinking. Most others I talked with came up with convoluted solutions. Oliver cut to the chase with a novel, clean and code compliant alternative to install the needed circuit. Fair pricing and on time delivery of results. He's been doing it for 30 years and is a third generation electrician. Definitely the best electrician I ever hired.

We had great service from this company to repair our kitchen lighting.  Debbie's handling of our initial call and her follow up to set up the appointment was first class.  Oliver arrived right on time, quickly identified the issue and got our lights working again.  He has a great attitude with customers. As we talked about future projects he pointed out the ones we could do ourselves and those where we should get a professional.  We will definitely be using them for our electrical needs.

Oliver and Neil just installed 2 large chandeliers and 2 pendant lights for us and did an amazing job. Very prompt and fairly priced. Oliver is extremely knowledgeable and great to work with. All-in-one should be your go to company for electrical or lighting. We had a precarious situation in a hard to get spot in a attic & Oliver was expedient, honest, & easy to talk to. They quoted us a price & it was exactly that, no shenanigans. Great guys too. We had a few laughs while they were taking care of our problem. I'd give 6 stars if one more was available. -Peter.

Phil called me right and we worked out the problem on the phone.  No one has ever done that for me and it shows his honesty and integrity. And, of course, knowledge.  The best.

I just had a great experience using All-In-One E&L to put in some fixtures and miscellaneous work.  I found them through Yelp last Sunday after I messed up the job after several hours of frustration.  Debbie called back pretty quickly and was very friendly and helpful on a Sunday afternoon. The difference between her response and others was pretty huge and gave me confidence.  She explained the pricing and it was very transparent and fair.  She kept me apprised of the scheduling during the week until the work could be done.
Ollie & Neil showed up earlier than scheduled.  I only know that because I went out to the curb to deal with some broken glass in the lighting fixture I needed to repair.  They didn't want to disturb me before the allotted time.
They were very friendly and helpful from the moment they stepped out of the van, helping me fix the lighting fixture in less than 2 minutes.  Then they came in and did what I couldn't do for hours on Sunday in like 1/2 hour.  They hung 3 lighting fixtures and Ollie fixed a really old broken receptacle that you cannot replace because it's so old in a MacGyver fashion.
Both the guys were friendly and eager to be of service. After they cleaned up,  Neil noticing a guitar I just bought, taught me the basics of how to get started in just a few minutes, as I'm just trying to get started.

Overall the experience was definitely 5 star and I know who is my first call when I do my next project.

I had a simple repair in a rental and had tried to reach electricians for 3 days...never getting any replies.  Finally I found All-In-One.  Not only did they answer when I called, they got the repair set up quickly.  Then...just to top things off...they got there and did it on time as scheduled!  What a pleasure to deal with a company that is this responsive!  VERY pleased!!!
