HISTORY
Established in 1986.
Mr. Clayton Goforth originally started a small drain cleaning company in San Diego in the mid 1950's. He had a booming business and retired to Ramona in the late 70's. His wife, Marie Goforth, continued to run the business in San Diego. Mr. Goforth decided to do a few jobs here and there in Ramona, just to give him some spending money, but in his early 50's developed some health problems and handed the business off to his son, Steve. Steve then branched out to do all aspects of plumbing, working quite often into the wee hours of the morning, only to get up early the next morning and go again. Steve has poured his heart and soul into building up his business and providing quality plumbing services to Ramona residents.
ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER
Steve was Born and raised in San Diego. When he was a teen, his family moved out to Ramona and he graduated from Ramona High School in 1981. Learning some of the drain cleaning trade from his father, Steve has gone on to learn all aspects of plumbing, small and large repairs, remodels and custom projects, backflow installations. He holds two certificates in backflow testing and certifications and is certified to install and repair PE gas piping.

Our property line clean out is within inches of our driveway. Unfortunately, it's gotten run over more than once and we noticed over the weekend that the pipe had gotten clogged. Drainage was backing up towards the house and was not getting to the main sewer line. We stopped using water in the house in fear of the drainage backing all the way up and started calling plumbers.
We called AAA Goforth Plumbing over the weekend and requested a call back on Monday. They called first thing Monday morning when they opened and made it out the same day to look at our clean out. Both of the gentlemen that showed up were very nice and got right to business clearing the clean out. They were able to clear whatever obstruction was stuck and our drainage was running smoothly again. They didn't try to sell me anything unnecessary and gave me advice on how to prevent the clean out from getting broken again if a car were to run over it.
I would highly recommend AAA Goforth plumbing to anyone in need of a plumber and we'll be using them again in the future if ever we need plumbing services.

Have used this company for years as my parents have. (The Deerings). They are on time or the office calls and tells you a new ETA. Honest and capable, personable and professional, they are the best.

We had a drainage problem and it turned out to be roots in the main drainage pipe. Before calling AAA I went to Homedepot to rent a snake which unfortunately wasn't long enough.
So we finally hired them on a Saturday afternoon. Within two hours they showed up, explained exactly what happened, which shape the drainage was in and what we will have to do in the future.
They got the job done perfectly and fast.
In the end, it would have been cheaper, easier and faster to hire them than to rent equipement from Homedopot and do it myself.

On the plus side, replaced our backflow valve with a better brand. On the minus, left us with an active leak!

Used them to repair our propane line. They did quality work and their quote was far below other plumbing companies. Will use them again in the future for any plumbing needs.
Called at 2pm on a Saturday, they were at my house by 4pm (as they said they would be). Their guy was friendly. He thoroughly explained what needed to be done and what the problem was. He even knocked a few bucks off their quote since the job wasn't too difficult.
I would use them again.

Called to schedule to request an appointment and left a message since no one answered. No one ever returned my call.
Dealt with these guys twice. Personable, experienced, not too pricey. Would recommend.
My hot water heater stopped working after only two years, and I had a horrible time trying to find a company who could help me, and honor the manufacturer's warranty. I think I made 8 phone calls before I found AAA Goforth. Steve, the owner, was fabulous. He went above and beyond to help me. He spent time on the phone troubleshooting with me in the event I could fix it myself and avoid having to pay him. He was completely booked for the week, but he found the time to fit me in between his other jobs. What really blew me away was when he called me first thing the next day to make sure things were still running smoothly. Wow. I can't remember the last time I experienced such incredible customer service. Way to go-forth!

This company came to my house to change a valve the handle was rusting not leaking at all then they didn't take payment with card they said no card reader no zelle or venmo drove to town to pay them in cash came home found pipe leaking cross threaded I called them they said they will come back again with another 120 service charge and the quoted marked up prices on replacement parts do your home compare parts from home depot Lowe's so fourth and this business is 5 miles from my house it's like a close neighbor you can't trust we all know them
I've used Steve for a number of projects over many years. In each case his skill and experience have resulted in successful projects. His fees are well explained and fair. My recent project, a toilet installation, had complexities due to the original construction. Steve was able to deal with the unexpected situation effectively. Highly recommended.

We had a pipe in the kitchen that had been severed and repaired with tape by a previous owner (unbeknownst to us). The broken pipe was discovered after we replaced the sink. We called AAA Plumbing yesterday morning and Steve said he'd arrive yesterday afternoon which he did.
Steve was very honest, knowledgeable and helpful. He fixed the severed pipe very quickly and efficiently. We are very happy with his work! We'd hire him again!!
Straight forward and easy to work with. No surprises and they will try and save you a buck even when its not in their best interest.

Steve and Travis were respectful and friendly. They cleaned up after themselves and worked quickly. Steve even tried to fix my faucet instead of replacing it!
They have standard, quotable prices. I will use them again.

I have been using Steve for all my plumbing needs. He's super honest and does quality work. I highly recommend him.
Extremely rude not professional at all. If I could give negative stars I would. My 65 yr old my was waiting for them to show up. When they arrived they announce their presence by yelling. We r here my mother tried to explain what the problem was his response was we don't want to hear it! They refused to walk in the house, and check out plumping stuff. Then they had my mother helping them! By turning on and off all the stuff in the house. (Toilet & sinks) while barking orders at her. I am pretty sure she isn't on their payroll. I don't recommend them.

I am very pleased with Steve's prompt and accurate assessment of my plumbing issue. He listened to my problem and had me send him a photo via cell phone. He then scheduled me quickly and sent out a tech today. The repair was efficient, effective, and professional and the cost was very reasonable.
