Structures Cabinet + Design

This review is specifically for Kaitlyn at Structures Cabinet+Design only. Our experience with Kaitlyn was superb! In our first design meeting, Kaitlyn requested that we send her photos from our Pinterest board so that she could get a sense for our vision and style. We then had our design selection meeting shortly thereafter and she NAILED IT! She truly understood the look we wanted and her selections were spot on. Kaitlyn was a pleasure to work with, she was prompt in her communication, organized, detail oriented, and so friendly! We could not be happier with her execution and the outcome of our finished home! Our project was a full gut job and expansion and we love coming home every day to our new home! Every room has such beautiful detail and it is a true testament to Kaitlyn's design eye.
We highly recommend Kaitlyn and we would work with her again in a heartbeat!

We were referred to this company so when we were asked to pay $1500 for a site visit and initial design, when we were not asked by other vendors, we paid thinking we were ahead of the game on a good design team. We were very wrong. We spent over 1.5 hours on site with Jason and initial designs were a mess. The owners attempted to blame our upset on personal preference and the design process that requires some back and forth.

If I sent site plans and examples then had an hour and a half onsite visit where measurements were taken and I get back plans that have cabinetry over doors and on top of bathtubs where existing plumbing is then we have a massive problem. My confidence in moving forward is at zero and we asked for a refund. They offered 50% and blamed it on the design process. The initial design work could have been done by literally anybody as cabinets were not even in the right place and not close to the design examples we sent via email and specified onsite. I paid for an expert and got poor attention to detail, plans and a disregard for the style we sent specific examples of.  We should have been starting, at minimum, with the cabinets in the correct place. I do not want to work with a company that cannot even read plans or apply the onsite information and measurements to their initial designs. I would never purchase materials and trust that they were measured properly at this point.

I have gone back and forth with the owners with examples of the many reasons why they dropped the ball, but unfortunately it's on deaf ears. Companies who cannot admit that they did anything wrong are dangerous to work with and, as a business owner myself, admitting when you dropped the ball and doing what is right is important in business. I am contacting my bank to claim fraud as the person I worked with was clearly not a design expert in which I was duped into paying for.

The owner has stated that she will rebuke with our email thread which, honestly, would be great considering it gives more insight on what exactly happened here and their inability to do good business than what I'm able to type.

We had a very positive experience working with Kaitlyn at Structures on the remodel of our master bathroom.  She was communicative, reliable, and creative with our project.  We enjoyed meeting with her at the showroom in Tempe to select the different components of our remodel.  Kaitlyn had plenty of examples and guided us accordingly in terms of style, color and cost.  She accompanied us on our trip to a local remnant yard to select an appropriate countertop as well.  Upon completion of the project, we received a thoughtful gift basket from Structures and the McCurdy Construction team, which was much appreciated.  We would certainly recommend them and use them again when the situation/need arises.

We used Structures for cabinets for our whole home remodel. They were able to find exactly what we wanted, I am very picky, installed everything beautifully and the customer services was top notch. Our family will use them again when the time comes!

From start to finish my experience with Structures Cabinet & Design was flawless. They really took the time to understand what I wanted, listened to all my concerns and thoroughly answered all my questions. They really made the whole process painless and enjoyable. Structures Cabinet and Design went above and beyond for my remodel.  I worked with various general contractors throughout the entire process and none of them compared to the team at SC+D.  The team is extremely accountable for the entire project from initiation to completion; especially Kaitlyn.  Be sure to ask for her during project initiation, she immediately understood my style for the kitchen and bathrooms, leading the entire concept and implementation to a final design that I never would have arrived at alone.  

The team really took ownership of the project as if it were taking place within their own home, unlike others that I have worked with in the industry.  They are all extremely professional, honest and passionate about their work.  Lastly, their cabinet portfolio is second to none in the valley!

One of the best of the many great things about our kitchen redesign and remodel was getting such fine new cabinets. I love that we were able to select exactly the components that we wanted and that the installation by the remodelers (McCurdy Contractors) went so smoothly, without a hitch! We have a wide combination of cabinets; the roll-out drawers for the pantry are especially amazing. I am sure that when we sell our house the handsome white soft-close cabinets that flow smoothly with all the nooks and crannies in our kitchen will make it very easy to get a good price. Great product, great service!

We were building an office and had already gotten and installed the upper cabinets from a big box store and even ordered the lower cabinets but upon delivery of the lower cabinets of the wrong size and the inability of the big box store to assist us in getting the correct cabinets ordered at the same discount price as we ordered originally led us to look for another supplier. After calling several cabinet companies around the phoenix metro area we landed on Structures Cabinet and Design. We told the salesperson over the phone what we were looking for and he got back to us promptly with quotes for various lower cabinets. We ultimately went down to the showroom to inspect the type of cabinet that was quoted to make sure it was  going to work for what we wanted. We placed the order and then when the cabinets arrived to them they put them on a truck and drove them out to our house. I found out it was the owner of the company making the delivery that day. It was very interesting learning his story of how the retail business came about. I am very happy to have found his company and glad I could support a local business. Keep up the good work.
