SOLLiD Cabinetry was founded in 2008 with a specific goal in mind: to provide cabinet dealers and their customers with high quality, low cost cabinets without having to wait weeks or months for them to arrive.

Our products are manufactured and warehoused in Tempe, AZ. We finish and assemble in our own facility. We offer quality construction cabinetry that doesn't break the budget. Our all wood products are of the highest quality and we offer an array of beautiful styles and colors. In the beginning we only had one door style and two color choices. Now we have almost 100 unique finish and door style combinations. In 2011 our products were tested and approved by the Kitchen Cabinet Manufactures Association (KCMA). The KCMA is a voluntary, non-profit trade association representing North American Cabinet Manufacturers. KCMA is an influential advocate for the industry and since 1955 has administered the nationally-recognized performance standard for cabinets.

I've worked with Sollid for around 10 years.  Their quality is great and they stand behind their work.  Best thing about Sollid is Gabby.  She answers all my questions and helps me with problems (even if it's not the best news).  Companies are made by great people like Gabby.

Absolutely the worst quality we have ever spent money on.
Plastic guides broke in the first month
Paint peeling off the fronts
The corner draw has broken hinges
The worst craftmanship
AND they won't stand behind the warranty
Tried to blame their sub but he's nowhere to be found
So we're stuck with this awful product.
There's a reason they only get 2.5 stars
Don't let your contractor talk you into it, they do it for the commission

Working on our master bath remodel and so I think support local and go to this very near to me cabinetry place.

First, this is not a showroom. It's a huge empty showroom with one kitchen showing their cabinetry. Then they have plenty of samples of doors for you to look at but that is it. It's very very far away from being an actual showroom.

My first visit, the front desk lady was very kind and helpful but clearly she's not meant to do that job as she was more of a receptionist at a desk. That was a bit confusing.

When I ask for a quote, she can't do that, they only go through cabinet contractors and don't deal with the public. Sigh. Ok. Another middle person I now have to find and deal with.

She is kind enough to give me a few they work with, BMO, many miles away in Phoenix. So, I get a few quotes through them on the Envii European cabinets I'm trying to purchase.

I learn from the quote process that everything is upcharge: 8% for brown melamine interior, 2% for matching band... Plus, I look at the reviewers from current owners and, wow, it's very discouraging. Very few actually satisfied long term customers. One of the biggest complaints being they don't work with homeowners, only with contractors. My brother who is a contractor even thinks that's a crummy business move.
So, there goes that option.

I have been ithout a kitchen since June 6, 2022 and have just been told best case I MAY have a kitchen mid January 2023. The holdup is two base cabinets, one door front and appliance panels that I have been told were ordered mid June.

I have literally begged Sollid to provide at least the base cabinets so I can have a kitchen after 7 months. I have called many, many times, sent letters and contacted all executives via messaging on Linked in.  I have no appliances ( they have been sitting in my garage since mid July), no running water, no counters, no kitchen.

I am a retired senior citizen and cannot believe that Sollid cabinetry refuses to deal with me or my contractor. After all of this at the very least they should provide the two base cabinets so appliances can go in, counters, cooktop, oven, etc. It really should only take hours to make the two cabinets. One is just the casing for the oven.

Sollid claims that I am not the customer. That is because of their business model. Without my money they don't have a customer. So far I have paid $38,000.00 and have been without a kitchen since June 6 all due to cabinetry issues.

Does this sound like a 'family owned, local business' that cares?

This is the first negative review i have ever posted on Social Media. I am just looking for help from Sollid as i cant finish my cabinet project that started over 5 months ago with Sollid fixing the paint problems. The woman that answers the phone for  Sollid is extremely rude, she is so busy talking she refuses to take a  breath and listen. I asked a dozen times to talk to a manager or someone  else and she refused. She says its company policy that i am not allowed  to speak to any body else at your company. My order #287656 has been  screwed up three times now. The project was initiated in November 2021,  and the errors in paint color started in January and its now May. 5 months later and no resolution.

Screw-up #1 Jan 22, 2022 - trim wrong color
Screw-up #2 Feb 16, 2022 - lost control sample, but found it.
Screw-up #3 March 2, 2022 - trim wrong color, produced the same wrong color as screw-up #1
Screw-up  #4 April 1, 2022 - produced correct color, but packaged the trim face  to face before it was dry, when separated it peel the paint off.

The  original cabinets were done correctly, but the trim has been the  problem. Sollid is not paying attention to the order details- the Color  is Graphite (which is an older Sollid color) and it is NOT the newer Slate color. This problem also happened in 2016 & 2017 on another  project. My original full kitchen was installed in 2015 (order#73371)
The  frustrations are really mounting, Sollid told me they would expedite  the last issue and deliver to my house as a good faith gesture, but its  been over a month again with no answers. The woman at the front desk  could care less- she is only focused on the words standard operating  procedure is to basically not let me talk to anyone there.

Horrible to their employees and doesn't care about homeowners or dealers. After their money and will fire or make anyone work in unsafe warehouse environments to get it.

My first one star review. I hate to do this, but in my experience with working with several contractors, builders and carpenters - I believe customer service is of utmost importance. Clients pay a lot of money, often times from their hard-earned savings, and invest in so much to have quality work done. And stellar customer service should come along with that.

Being spoken to in a condescending way is never a good start with a company where you or your client are investing a lot of time and money. The pricey vanity order was placed more than 5 months ago, and we haven't been updated in any way, shape or form. To receive any clarification on the status of an order was like trying to extract information from the pentagon. I believe a client who has put forth the money should be able to have full transparency on their custom-made cabinetry and not be at the mercy of a contractor with terrible and inconsistent communication.

My cabinets are less than 4 years old. Two drawers are broken and the pins holding shelves up are cracked and broken. They quality of this overpriced product is absolutely abysmal.

We've been waiting months for our kitchen cabinet doors to be delivered and installed. I stopped at the sollid office in Chandler today to see why. The polite receptionist said, sorry,  we don't deal with consumers . Beware of sollid and their dealers.

We've been waiting months for our kitchen cabinet missing panels, and they are still not ready. We got the original cabinets delivered Feb 2021.
Its been 9/10 months now and they cant seem to help finish our project after spending so much money with them.

They also messed up all the edge banding to match the grey inside of the cabinet instead of the walnut color we ordered. They are taking no responsibility.

We chose Sollid cabinets for our kitchen remodel and the whole experience has been very disappointing. It's now been a year since we had their cabinets installed, and our frustrations and dissatisfaction continue to mount.
To begin, every time we attempted to put in an order our authorized retailer would come back to us and tell us we had to change our design because multiple pieces were no longer being manufactured.  So we would change things up and put in a new order only to find out other boxes were now not available, but the other discontinued boxes were now actually available.  It took multiple tries to finally get our order placed and accepted.
Then installation day came.  Our installer was fantastic to work with.  He installed all our cabinets and trim in one day...except for the doors that were missing from the order, which took more than a week to receive. Oh, and none of the boxes showed up with the doors installed.  Our installer had to do that as well.
Finally, at the end of the day the wife and I were sitting back admiring the cabinets.  But the admiration didn't last long.  It became immediately clear that we had two somewhat close, but distinctly different cabinet colors.  And the more we looked at it the more depressing it became.  Ya'll know how much it costs to purchase kitchen cabinets.  We called our sales rep and complained.  A few days later a rep from Sollid showed up and agreed the cabinets didn't match.  So he had ME uninstall all the doors so he could pick them up later to get refinished.
A week goes by after sending the doors back to Sollid, and the Sollid rep says the doors were refinished but that the cabinet colors would never match due to natural variation in the wood and this was to be expected.  Ya'll, the doors came back the exact color as when they left.  And now Sollid refuses to make it right.  We are sick knowing how much we spent on our cabinets and knowing they'll never match.
Now that we're a year in with the cabinets, there are multiple locations where the door frames are coming loose at the corner joints.  And there are several locations where the finish is chipping and peeling off.  We again contacted Sollid through our sales rep.  Their response is that these conditions are to be expected and they will not cover under their warranty.
Imagine saving and saving for years and then finally getting your kitchen remodel done.  And now you have to live forever with mismatched cabinets with chipped and peeling finish and door frames that obviously aren't going to stand the test of time.  
Oh how I wish we had NOT chosen Sollid for our cabinets.

Meh. Not the best quality from this place. Whenever you go in they don't really treat you all that well either. Especially when you have a complaint about their broken cabinets. Quality control here is a joke, I'll open a box with a shattered face frame but don't worry it's Quality control sticker is signed off
Been buying cabs from them for a few years. Even did my own kitchen remodel with their stuff 3 years ago. But this is the last straw. I'll be doing my business elsewhere for sure.

To be clear, there's a difference between the cabinet company and the dealer. This review is for the cabinet company... SOLLID. While my dealer had some issues, the manufacturer is the dumpster fire. Sollid as a company got soooo big that they stopped giving a damn. The website talks about their dedication to quality and dealer support and how they built a company even through the market downturns. First the owner of Sollids last name is RIGGS. As in RIGGS Road. So he has never wanted for anything in his life nor has he ever known what struggle even is. Moving on...  I bought literally the most expensive style cabinet they make. An entire house of it. Almost $50k. (18 months ago when the order started) And here we are about a year later... (after the extraordinary wait time and screw ups from sollid) and Paint is peeling off my cabinets, the stained cabinets are not stain at all but a gel stain which is chipping off (stain seeps into wood, gel stain sits on top like a paint) Doors have fallen off the hinges because the holes bored into the wood are larger than the hinge anchor and on and on. I have the wrong doors on some cabinets. Some drawer fronts on one cabinet don't match the other drawer fronts on the same cabinet. Sollid could care less about servicing after the sale and after countless attempts to get warranty work... still nothing. The warranty department will refer me to the dealer. The dealer says the warranty department won't respond. The warranty department doesn't follow up at all. Steer clear of this manufacturing company. Give a damn dropped precipitously and cost sky-rocketed after they tried to in house everything.

DO NOT BUY THESE CABINETS!
Sollid Cabinets are for show only!
When we went to the showroom in 2017, we were able to see a wide variety of cabinets, they have a great selection, but that is where it ends. Our cabinets were installed in 2017, early 2020 we contacted Sollid for warranty on the finish, as it was chipping away. The cabinets are stained, I truly believe they did not put a finish over the stain.  The wood is very soft, if you brush against it, it will leave a mark. These cabinets are in my kitchen and bathroom. When you contact Sollid they will not help, you have to go to your contractor for warranty claims, we happen to have a contractor that did nothing for a year and a half, so we had to go to his dealer. the dealer came out took pictures, submitted to Sollid. Sollid came back with normal wear and tear.  I had builder grade cabinets in this house for 16 years and the finish was not coming off when they were replaced. DO NOT BUY THESE CABINETS!

I ordered cabinets through a dealer of theirs on March 8th (over $10000, paid in advance, non-refundable). Was told they would be ready for install April 26th (2 weeks longer than promised). 6 days before installation I was told by the dealer on arrival at teh warehouse to pick them up that the order was not ready! No ETA or explaination. Now I am seeing they are closed until July 1!!! What the HELL kind of business closes for over 2 months, but still takes orders. I called them directly and they refused to speak to me; stated they only speak to dealers. Horrible business and they will be getting sued!

Very disappointed in this company that was highly recommended by my contractor.  It is junk, have had some cabinets replaced 3 times, cabinets split, damaged corners, warped shelves, bad finish, delaminated shelves - just crap. Now I am sitting her waiting for them to show up again, 4th time to do touch-up. I have been without a working kitchen since October. Did I mention that they also over spayed on my walls and new wallpaper which is now ruined, and they used the wrong color to do the touch-up. Spend your money somewhere else. Funny how the other reviews are either excellent or terrible? I marked mine a 5 star so people would read it.

11/1/18 - The attempt to reach out consisted of badgering me to remove my review since I would not provide the dealer I worked with.  I cannot provide what did not exist.  Robert (representative of Sollid) claims they only use dealers, yet I have Sollid cabinets purchased at the facility as reflected in the photo.  Even if I had used a dealer, it does not change my original opinion/review of the cabinets.  But good to know that one of the employees feels he has the right to bully me because he doesn't like my review.

10/30/18 - I have edited my review to provide a photograph to prove I bought my cabinets from Sollid.  I am being harassed by an employee who is requesting that I remove my review because they're claiming it is not legitimate.  So here is an inside snapshot of my cabinet.  

(Previous review) I have had my cabinets for almost a year. Though they look nice from a distance, they are not well made. The slightest bump into them will leave a mark because the wood is really soft so up close you can see all the dings and dents.  When one of the cabinets that the salesman ordered was incorrect, I got stuck with having to pay for the new correct cabinet without ever receiving the refund for the wrong cabinet.

PLEASE, DO NOT BUY FROM SoLLid.
Save yourself a world of frustration.  It took over a Year & 5 replacement  Doors later to get the finish CLOSE ENOUGH to the others in our Kitchen.  (they wore us down, & we got tired of the BS of having to wait another 6-8 (reality 8-12) weeks for each (4) replacement doors, and just wanted the project done)
The wood is SOFT, and they use a Spray-On finish, that does not hold up well, and even after a short time of use, starts to need touch-ups.  Using the touch-up pens, just makes it look even worse.

Their Life Time Warranty is WORTHLESS !!!

The woman that I talked to there, told me that they are like FORD, GM & the Other Car Manufacturers, that you need to go thru the Dealer Contractor that we purchased our cabinets thru to get any warranty work done.  If they are too busy with their own projects, it will never happen.

BOTTOM LINE,  go to Home Depot or LOWES, or any other company that has Unfinished Cabinets, then find someone Local to finish thhem or do it yourself.

The only reason that I'm posting this, is because of what & how the woman at SoLLid said to me, Plus the fact that my Dealer doesn't seem to want to even get back in touch with us.  So much for their LIFETIME WARRANTY!

We had sollid cabinets installed after a flood a few years ago. Initially they looked great. The finish on the cabinets is wearing terribly. If you look up other reviews this is a common problem. I reached out to the contractor that installed the cabinets, and was told they will not use sollid cabinetry anymore because of these issues. Please be aware and stay away from this company

WE JUST LOVE THE CABINETS !  We have bought cabinets several times over the years when we build a new home & no question this is where we will buy our stuff from now on !  Just look how nice our kitchen turned out every one always comments on the cabinets quality !

Getting them to provide a written warranty and follow up is very difficult. You have to go through your original sales rep to get help - but who knows where that person is after they have sold the cabinets. Be careful.

If Quality Control and your Project Schedule are important to you I strongly recommend you look elsewhere for your cabinets. The cabinet delivery was several weeks late, incomplete and damaged when it arrived. The completed project has several cabinets doors with obvious fabrication flaws.

Junk from day one. Warped panels, doors, and drawers. Center panels shrunken and exposing white wood next to dark stain. And they never respond to attempts to remedy this. Failure and a mess in my house. I really warn everyone to hold two thirds of their money until you see if they can really provide anything close to the quality Home Depot or Ikea offers for the same products.

Paid for my cabinets on 11/19/2019. Today, 4/9/2020, I am still waiting for back orders from the original order. Now I am informed I won't see the back orders until May. My distributor has been great. The cabinets are great. The company...not so much. Never again.

I feel for you Anony M.  I have the same issues with my cabinets.  When someone comes to my house, I cross my fingers they don't look too close at my kitchen cabinets.  The flaws are unbearable.  Previously, Robert also reached out to me when I posted my earlier review hoping I would delete it.  When I called the company and asked who Robert was, I was told he is a sales rep but also handles the yelp reviews??

The only reason I would even give this company 2 stars is that I actually like the product when it functions correctly. I had their rep Jay come out and look at a cabinet that was falling apart at all the seems and the dials were popping out. Well that was in December and it's not Feb with still not a cabinet built when I went too actually find out what was going on they said they needed a door sample to stain match their own product. I dropped one off and Jay came out saying I'll build you a box but we agreed to replace the cabinet. He states that when he was there 3 months ago the cabinet was sitting in my living room. Yes 3 months ago it was in my living room I'm not keeping a cabinet on the floor so one of my kids can trip over a 24x42 tall cabinet. Then he states well who ever installed it they did it wrong after 5 years of sitting in place now it's a bad install. I'm sorry but this company will not warranty their product and will just point the finger to the rep who sold me the product. Now I'm getting my  cabinet guy to actually build me a new cabinet. So disappointed in this company as I bought a few kitchens thru their reps. Make sure if Jay says anything you get it in writing if not it didn't happen.

Wrote a check at the end of October for an entire set of kitchen cabinets, still have not seen them. I was told it would be a 2 week turn around. Then told a big order came in and we were pushed back, then another month, and today when they were supposed to be delivered, guess what? Nope.

I bought a house with Sollid cabinets. I needed to repair some drawer slides and contacted them and they were able to help me out quickly and courteously even though I was not the original purchaser. I went to their warehouse in person in Tempe to pick up some parts. I truly appreciated their great customer service.

I just had my whole house, new build done in SOLLiD Cabinets after having my contractor suggest them. Once I realized they were a local company I was all for it. The pricing was very reasonable and I couldn't be happier with the quality. My wife actually even likes them which is the best part. I highly recommend using this local cabinet company.

A contractor I used for a Kitchen major remodel used Sollid Cabinets three years ago.  I spent $16,000.  The cabinet quality was so so, the door finish was very blotchy and non uniform.  I had to go with my contractor to their factory to swap out 12 doors that were simply unacceptable.  Quite a hassle and Sollid let me know it was not appreciated.  Three years later, some false front clips on the sink base broke and I could not find replacements anywhere.  They use 5 clips, and all I could find on the internet was 4 1/2.  I called to see if they could send me some, well within the warranty period, and told them I would even pay for them.  They told me they didn't deal with the public and I had to go through a dealer.  My contractor has since gone out of business so they said if I sent them an email with my name, delivery date, contractor name, copy of the invoice, pictures of the clips, part number, etc. they would file a warranty claim.  I bought something I thought I could make work from Amazon for $6.00.  Stay away from these folks.  By the way, I just bought $20,000 in KraftMade Cabinets for a second home and they are well worth the money.  Customer Service is fabulous.  You get what you pay for.

I used Sollid cabinets in a bathroom remodel. They make an excellent and affordable product with a good production time. I highly recommend visiting their showroom with your dealer as they have a lot to chose from and many price points. Definitely would use Sollid in the future.

Bought my kitchen cabinets from these folks thru one of their dealers. Couldn't be happier after having a negative experience with another company SolliD is a breath of fresh air. I highly recommend.

Called showroom on Friday at 3:00 to make sure they didn't close early for the 4th of July weekend. I asked the girl if anyone could walk in off the street to look at cabinets and get info. I was told yes. Got there at 3:30 and asked girl at desk if she is the one I just spoke to. She told me it was her. She was rude with her answers to me. I even tried to lighten the mood by joking and asking if I could take the display kitchen home with me. Can't even insert crickets sounds it was that bad. We are going to build and are very interested in Sollid cabinets for our home. I asked if they had spec sheets with the cabinet measurements. It was at that time I was told they only do business with their dealers and I would have to go to a dealer for the info. That's all well and good but this important bit of information would have been very welcome before I wasted 1/2 hour to get there, 1/2 to get back home, an hour of my time, and gas! The only reason I gave 4 stars is for the cabinets. For her customer service she gets minus 10 stars!
