I worked with Craig Miller and his technician Ray. They installed a pool heater and remote control system. I couldn't be happier with my choice of going with Shasta.
First of all, Craig came out next day when I asked for a quote. This was in the middle of the pandemic and another company I contacted didn't even want to come out at all and just asked me to send pictures.
Craig knew exactly what I needed to control the pool remotely. He has experience with it and didn't try to oversell me a system with bells and whistles I would not need. Ray was very good at getting the system installed and explained to me how to operate it.
Best of all, when the we had a problem with the water heater 8 month later, Craig was extremely responsive and Ray came out the next day and fixed it (it was just a blown fuse). Craig also went above and beyond helping me to troubleshoot a connectivity issue that ended up being a server problem at Pentair.
We love our remote system and highly recommend Craig Miller and his technician Ray at Shasta.

I bought a brand new home and reached out early in my buying process to see about getting a quote for a pool. I never got a response. I left voicemails and an email. Fast forward, half way through, they reach out via email and I respond, I got no response back. Then just shy of a week ago, I get put into a group email thread with other potential customers and the tech responds to the group and says they have a meeting with someone in surprise (I felt the hidden language was stop trying to get me customers when I already have them) so I respond immediately with when is a good time for you to come out? And almost a week later no response. I emailed Diana back and told her the company as a whole is unreliable and to take me off her list. But who sends out a mass email with people I don't know trying to solicit business. So now I have to worry one or a few aren't going to start sending me junk mail because they now have my information.

They are absolutely the worst. Do NOT use. Use the crew hanging out at Home Depot if you want a job, DONE! They do not have any quality controls, they continuously LIE ( I have proof via my cameras), no customer values, don't return calls, job still not correct due to their errors and will not do anything even though OUTSIDE their contract!  DO NOT USE THIS POOL COMPANY no matter how much the new home builder giver you credits!  There is a reason they give you a credit!  
It's terrible they just can't get a hole with concrete done correctly and employee so many incompetent people. Awful

I had my Shasta Pool built in 2015. The popups have a lifetime warranty. The tool to remove the popups was made of cheap plastic and broke before it got even one head out. My pool guy's metal tool got 4 out before busting.

I live an hour away from Shasta Parts department. Nevertheless their policy is to only replace broken parts in person.

I spoke with Tory Woodward who is allegedly a warrant manager. In less than a week he forgot about a 20 minute conversation we had and didn't remember the texting chain that included a video and pics. I asked the female that told me story doesn't remember me if story was at work today. She said she just came from his office. I asked her to call him over so I could refresh his memory by showing him the call log and text chain on my phone. She immediately capitulated and gave me the part that was promised.

Although I got what I wanted and I understand they need to conserve profit, they need to keep a few things in mind. My pool build was just shy of $50,000. Nickel & diming me to death is only going to cause bad feelings.

They were bad enough for me to write this up and warn people to NOT use Shasta Pools. Use anybody else and I recommend you ensure non-proprietary parts be used. Shasta screws their customers with only using proprietary parts.

We bought our pool from Shasta because they were the top pool company in Arizona. With the lifetime Warrenty and best customer service. Not anymore!! Every time we call for service it's 2 months before they show up. My pump went out 3 weeks ago and they scheduled us for 5 weeks out. Unacceptable

I have to give them one star, because they are one month behind on service calls. If you don't have enough people working there your business is not gonna thrive. Pay people more, answer phones, and get on the ball.

We had our Shasta salt water swimming pool installed in May 2006.  About five years ago, we had the pool refinished and new equipment installed by Shasta. In October 2021, the system was losing its prime. I replaced the main filter gasket but there were no visible water leaks. But the prime would be lost overnight. Everything appeared good but the loss of prime continued. I had a leak somewhere. I called Shasta as I didn't want an unknown attempting repair. There was no loss of water from the pool. So the water was draining back into the pool. Yesterday a Shasta repairman arrived, his name is Kaden Cox. Within seconds he spotted the issue. This was the pool getting even with me! There was now a visible water leak at the motor/pump joint. Kaden disassembled the motor from the pump as gasket failure was right there. He replaced two gaskets, then reassembled the motor to pump. He also replaced the leaf filter gasket. He then turned the filter system on and my problem was fixed! I highly recommend Shasta Pool Service!

The repair services are the worst. Don't trust them to do anything right from scheduling to actually communicate with you as a customer and within their own company. Just a mess of a company. They don't even deserve a star.

This is just an FYI for those of you that require a new Pool light. It would do you good to shop around, I did. When we bought the house last year, the previous owners had the light replaced by Shasta, $450. It lasted less than a year. When calling for a quote, they gave me a price of over $1000! Well needless to say, I inquired to get an idea of competitive pricing. I ended up with same lamp, installed by another pool service, $180. Just passing this on.

Ray and Brandon from Shasta pool repair just finished replacing my pool pump. When you have a investment like a pool you want to make sure that the people that work on it are professionals. From the moment they got here  it didn't take long to have complete confidence in them. I received quality workmanship at a fair price and a free tutorial on how to keep my pump running smooth you can't beat that.

We had our pool built by Shasta and we're very happy with it. But when it came to replace and repair, they started making changes to the contract. Stating that it was a different name brand product so the lifetime warranty no longer applied to that part. But that was never stated to the owners! They aren't very honest! So I would not use them again! We'll be using  more reliable and hopefully honest company to resurface our pool.

Needed some warranty repairs to my pump, etc. The tech Shasta dispatched to my home yesterday to perform the repairs was Ray who was amazing. He did the work in a fast timely fashion and his customer service was outstanding. Everything is working great again! Highly recommend!

We are very unhappy with Shasta pools.  We moved to a new community and signed up in the beginning of November 2020.  We were told we would have a pool by March 2021, before the summer.  All of our neighbors that started the process with other companies after us are enjoying their new pool.  They keep on making promises and nobody shows up

We recently purchased a home with an existing Shasta pool. Having never had a pool before, we needed to know everything about the pool and how to work it. Ray came out and gave a very detailed and complete orientation to the pool and advised us on how to take care of this beautiful pool. We really appreciate his knowledge and patience.

If I could give zero stars, I would. From front end to completion, nothing but issues. I must say we do have a unique, luxury pool with a lazy River. However, I feel like Shasta saw the dollar signs and over promised and under delivered. We were told when we signed the contract in July that the project would be done in October. Realistically, it was done in August of the following year. But, to my standards it was never really done because it's never been fully functioning. We've always had problems with one of the pool pumps since construction (which makes a lazy River not work). Also, we've had ongoing issues with one of the heaters which makes it impossible to heat the pool in the winter. Save your money. Shasta asks for top dollar for mediocre results. They give you a 5 year warranty because it will take 5 years to get a single issue fixed even though every repair person that's been out has suggested the same solution or repair needs to happen. Terrible communication. I've been working on trying to get the repair done on a pump for 4 days short of a year...and it's not because the problem hasn't been identified, it's because the communication between departments and with customers is terrible. The only redeeming factor is the design person, Bill who we worked with who came up with a beautiful design and also Holly who helped to navigate the construction process. Pool looks beautiful, but also looks like a lot of money that was spent on something not fully functional. Ridiculous. If you're looking for a luxury pool, look elsewhere. I've literally asked for people higher up in the company after almost a year of being patient and can't get anywhere, so here I am on Yelp.....

I would like to give a credit and appreciation to two excellent and dedicated employees from Shasta Industries Inc.
Originally I was told that I can't get service till the end of July! Which was 3 weeks away .. and there was a leak! So it was kind of scary plus could be expensive..
I was quite disappointed!
But then couple days later I received a phone call from Mr. Tory Woodard - warranty manager and he was able to schedule a repair service the same day he talked to me!
Dan Lammot the senior technician showed up within half an hour after my phone call with Tory!
We found out that Dan was servicing the pool before! He was very pleasant, knowledgeable, explained what was the problem and the main thing he fixed the problem! He did an excellent job as always!

I'd give 0 stars if it was possible but because of the gentleman I spoke to this morning in your repair dept that was able to calm me down and look into why I didnt have service today like I was supposed too after speaking with a representative named Becky who dropped the ball and never set me up for a repair that was supposed to happen today 3/24/21. I called in well over 2 weeks to schedule this and now I have to wait longer! Where does your company find such rude and un-professional people at??? I'm selling my home at the end of the month and now I have to wait for a latter date and this could affect the closing of the sale. Not a happy customer!

I've owned my Shasta pool for 18 years and everyone is great but the gentleman who came to service my salt cell was outstanding. It's the second time Dan Lamay has been here and he really knows his stuff. Reset my variable speed pump once everything was done and adjusted the timing to ensure the pool is cleaning efficiently. Also, the work was done quickly and without a mess!

Had to get a new 2 cycle pool pump to comply with new law regarding energy savings. Dealt with Debra in the office and Ray as the serviceman. Experience with both was excellent. Everything was well explained and the installation went off without a hitch.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I would give zero stars if possible. Shasta remodeled our pool 2 1/2 years ago and did a poor job on the tile. After 1 year, we had a few tiles come off. After numerous calls and nearly a month, they finally came out and repaired them. Within a year, the exact same tiles again came off, along with some additional ones. I have been calling them since April attempting to get this fixed. After 2 months, they came out and told me the tiles are coming off because of standing water on the deck, which is ironic, since the pool is 47 years old and the previous tiles NEVER came off in its entire existence. They required that I put a drain in the deck before they would repair the tile. After spending $1000 to have a drain installed, I've been calling weekly since late July to no avail. Every time I call, I'm told they don't have a date scheduled yet. This is, by far, the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I'm told each time they will call me back with a date, which has yet to happen. This has been a terrible experience and I don't want anyone else to go through what we have. They were very diligent in taking our money, but clearly don't have any interest whatsoever in honoring the alleged warranty.
