ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER

The passion of ironwork has been part of Scott Colletti since the early 90's, when he attended Arizona State University. He began creating custom furniture, acessories and lighting when he found what was available did not meet his taste in design or quality. This hobby quickly became a business in 1995 as demand grew from friends and family for custom pieces. When Colletti Design was created in 1995, the company worked on retail, nightclub and commercial iron projects, mainly custom fabrication and design of furniture, accessories, architectural features and railings. The focus of the company eventually settled on the design and fabrication of the finest: Premium Iron Doors, Gates and Railings for homes and commercial projects. Colletti Design is one of the leading Iron Door manufacturers in the USA. We have completed countless projects and shipped iron doors and gates throughout the US.

Fast forward 6 years and our Colletti pivot entry door to our office foyer is as good as the day installed.  I'm working on another project needing a door and Colletti will be our go to team to have it completed.  The entry to our corporate offices is of great quality and we receive a great many compliments on it.  I believe we have had them out 2 times in 6 years to make adjustments to the tension of the door and their team came quickly to make the tension adjustments to the door closer.  Look no further.

I have called about 10 times over 4 days and reached an answering machine.  It says our representatives are busy with other callers.  Leave your name and number, and a representative will call you back as soon as possible.   Requested a call back but never received.  I think they may be out of business.

We purchased a beautiful custom door from Colletti and are very happy with it.
Communication is not good.

They are the worst company to do business with. Unreliable and undependable. Bad service and bad people. Stay away.

I purchased a door from Colletti about 9 years ago and recently I requested that they add an additional lock to the door. After giving me the run around they basically did nothing. I'm still waiting on an estimate to add the lock. I am very disappointed in their lack of customer service.

I strongly recommend that you not do business with this company. Even if you think their door designs are good keep in mind the terrible customer service you will have to deal with in the future.

I recently had Colletti Design replace my stair railing.  Things started out well but quickly went downhill.  Initial design phase was quick and easy.  I was informed that the lead time would be 6-8 weeks.  After 8 weeks of waiting with no update, I called to find out what the status of my order was, and got a quick response.

A team showed up to template my railing, which involved some welding inside my house.  I received a phone call later that day from my wife to inform me that the install team had set fire to my staircase, causing damage to the carpet on 3-4 stairs.

They were very apologetic and promised to pay for replacement of my stair carpeting.  I wasn't too upset at this point (accidents do happen), but my experience afterwards was completely unacceptable.

You would think that after having set a fire inside my house that this company would have payed especially close attention to my job, but I experienced the opposite.  Not once did I ever receive an unsolicited phone call.  i was constantly calling to find out when (if ever) my railing would be installed.  Two and a half weeks later, after promises of expediting, my railing was installed -- in the wrong color.

At this point, I was very upset and informed the owner of everything that went wrong.  The only thing I was given were some weak apologies.  They did eventually arrange for my railing to be removed and powder-coated in the correct color.

I was given nothing for my multiple inconveniences.  Given the price (which is substantially higher), I was expecting to receive high-level service.  I received the opposite.

All said and done, I received a simple stair railing after 12 weeks, along with a burnt carpet and several long days for my wife and baby, at a substantial price premium.
