I am new to the area and needed a repair to my RV toilet. There isn't much available locally in the way of service and RV Proctologist is highly advertised. I looked up the website to get information and saw that they have good reviews. There was a place to request a quote through email, which I did. I got no response. Then the website had a couple of different phone numbers, and the website said that due to back log to text one of the numbers, which I did and again got no response. So on January 31 2023 I called the service number. I spoke to the owner's wife. She took my information, address, phone number etc. and I explained my situation. I already knew that it was probably going to be better to replace rather than repair, which she confirmed. She explained that I would need to purchase the toilet and that the owner would install the new toilet. While I was on the phone, she asked him about it and he quoted a price that I agreed to. She said he would not have availability until the following Tuesday, February 6th. I agreed, as I understand that they are busy and I am in no real hurry. She said he would call with a time. Then... Ghosted. To this date, I never heard from them at all. I ended up replacing the toilet myself, which is fine in the long run because I learned a lot and saved quite a bit of money. Although being Ghosted turned out to be a positive for me, the fact that there was absolutely no response to email, text and finally to a phone conversation is very poor customer service. I completely understand being busy and backed up... but the least that a business can do is communicate.
