I lost my patio cover in a monsoon storm and was fortunate to find this company. I can't find anything negative to say about my entire experience.
From the estimate to the clean up, the service and communication was excellent and they were much cheaper than any other estimate. The product is beautiful and it was a pleasure working with this company. They have their own installation teams so communication was seamless! Thank you Royal Covers

We are due for a major backyard upgrade. To kickstart the project, we decided to take down the store front canopy in front of our master sliding door. My wife wanted to add additional shading in the area for a hammock so we decided to add a full canopy to the area. After researching some options we decided to settle on an alumawood option given its weight and longevity. We contacted Royal Covers of AZ for a quote. It was a pretty easy / painless process to setup the appointment for on site quote and measurements. We were given a 3-4 month wait timeline for install. The materials came in after about 2.5 months and we were able to get it installed a week later. The crew was able to get it all done in one morning and the installation was clean and tidy. We are very happy we went with Royal Covers of AZ for our new canopy! We highly recommend them to everyone who is looking for quality work.

Wonderful experience, great customer service. I highly recommend you give Royal Covers a try! They were able to complete the job in 1 1/2 months faster than other estimates, given the material and labor shortages at a reasonable price.  Tanner and Tobias were a pleasure to work with.  Our Pergola looks amazing and provides much needed shade for our backyard and doggie! 8/25/22 i did a review and it was 1 star.  Im happy today to give this company 5 stars due to the end result.  Yes this pergola is in my opinion way over priced and yes this is a company that is taking advantage of supply chain and post pandemic conditions.  However it is what it is, and the end product was high quality materials with a rigid install process.  Eddie spent 3 days in over 100 degree temps customizing this fit and did a great job installing.  He in my opinion saved this review.   He was an extremely hard worker.  super polite unlike the office folks that took my calls.   The office is unequipped to manage any type of complaint, they don't come off as I am the customer and how can we help you,  Never asks, what seems to be the issue and lets see how we can remedy this situation,  they just point fingers.  example per my last review the final locations of these cemented in posts was a big deal and I never got to install the one post in the counter per my design.  this company just would not work with me on this concept so the post now is 2' out in front of counter but it ended up looking ok.  Office folks only could look at design from Larry's visit and what ever was written up in that meeting was the only talking points they would entertain.   Larry you need to retire.  stop visiting customers as you no longer have the patience to listen to what your customers want.   You don't care about the small details because Your a pergola install company  what you do outside of our pergola is up to you.   Larry you no longer are supporting your companies values advertised on your website.  Final result was all due to Eddie!  again he saved this review and should be the face of this company.   See pic,  that post near bbq was supposed to be in the counter, thus eliminating a post to walk around.  royal coverings could not do this.

Preston powers and his crew were great!! The attention to detail was fantastic. They went beyond my expectations and I intend to have them back again to do and entryway for the front.

I had front and back patio and carport covers, rebuilt a large deck and had my storage rebuilt by Royal Covers to the tune of many thousands of $$.  It has been 6 years.  I was told I had a lifetime warranty.  So the deck carpet is falling apart.  The metal carpet tack strips are all coming loose and many of the railings are wobbly.  
I asked the company if they could come tighten things up and fix that small area of carpet.  The 'boss' called and left me a message telling me I now had a 2 year warranty and to forget about any repairs from them.
I will never have them do work for me again.  Be sure you get everything they say in writing, or you are screwed.

Royal Covers installed a patio outside my office door.  They did an excellent job and delivered a high quality product.  I definitely would use them again.

In June 2021 I contacted multiple companies for a quote on two pergolas for our backyard with poor response.  I noticed these guys installing in the neighborhood and asked for a card.  They seemed to be the only company actually working.  Ryan quickly responded and came by to look over the job.  He was up front saying product was difficult to obtain and estimated an October install.  We received a call on October 19 and said our order was in and available for next day installation.  Waylon, Jacob and Seth showed up on time and started their work.  They cleaned up each day and showed up on time.  It took 3 days and the crew kept us involved the whole time.  Waylon even moved two posts as he thought about it the night before and wanted to give us a little more space around the Bbq.  Really appreciated his attention to detail and couldn't be more pleased with the results.  Highly recommend them and totally worth the wait.  Thanks Royal Covers and the crew for a job well done.

Not royal service.  The guy came out and seemed befuddled by every question I asked.  Each of my questions was answered with a question. He had a large binder with him. When I asked if he had examples of what we had in mind, he told me the website  had lots of pictures. He didn't offer any suggestions. He kept asking me what I wanted.  It was like he worked at a fast food restaurant. You doesn't discuss the menu. You just order. After a good ten excruciating minutes, I thanked him for his time. He responded that he didn't mean to offend me. I wasn't offended. I was exhausted by him.

The results of the patio cover are fantastic. We could not be happier. The ceiling fan and electrical work was nicely done. I can't find the electric cable as they fixed it to code and poof it's gone and nicely powers two plugs and a fan. Work took two days. About a month design time.

Brilliant! That's what this company is. I had them build my pergola and it is more than amazing! I couldn't be anymore happy that I picked Royal Covers and their crew. If you want quality and satisfaction, I wouldn't look anywhere else but Royal Covers of Arizona. They are top notch! Thank you guys.

We recently completely a successful project covering our pool equipment area. We were very pleased with the entire process from estimation to install. The estimator spent all the time necessary to fully map out the design interacting with us to hear our thoughts. He was a former installer so had considerable expertise. The install team was excellent and highly competent. They also interacted with us to get on the spot questions answered. The install went terrific and final result is just what we expected. We checked out many firms for our project and this one was the most professional and competent.

Royal Covers did an excellent job on our awning and recommend them.  The crew was professional, on time and installed the cover within the estimated time to complete the job.

Just completed our Pergola installation through Royal Covers of AZ. The salesperson listened to my concerns and listened to what I was looking for. He offered a few different options. There was great communication throughout the whole process. They even handled submitting the documents for HOA approval which I thought was great! Installer was very detailed and the final product was perfect. Give them a try!

After reading up on reviews for companies installing pergolas, I saw who had the best reviews and took the plunge and called Royal Covers.  If I knew how cost effective and professional they were, I would have done this years ago.  From the very start, every person involved was top notch.   Lee provided a thorough/cost effective estimate that they stuck too (as well as providing some design ideas), and Eddie was the most thorough installer/technician I have seen in a while (almost OCD thorough, which is a good thing).  Even their electrician was a perfectionist, and took the extra time to do things right even after I had some better ideas (aka changes) for power routing.  They were on time, cleaned up at the end of every day, and cleaned up after the project as if they were never there.  I'm calling them again this winter for a trellis over my outside bar.  Thanks guys!!

I called a number of companies to obtain an estimate to replace my existing 1965 patio cover.  All the bids were close, however Royal Covers just stood out.  Peter the sales rep, knows his product and designs and made several very good suggestions.

Jim was in charge of construction, and did a meticulous job, the man is a genius, I was bowled over at the quality of his work and attention to every detail.  I also requested that they install two overhead fans and a misting system.  They had to run electricity to the entire structure, their staff electrician did a beautiful job of hiding the conduit pipes, again another genius and his attention to detail was impressive.

What a wonderful experience.  Five stars isn't enough.  A company is only as good as the people who represent them, and from start to finish I was wowed by the professionalism of the three men who constructed my spectacular patio enhancement.  I can't  wait to show it off to my friends and neighbors.  Thank you Royal Covers.

I'm not big on writing reviews, but this time it is necessary.
Royal Covers installed a patio cover on my house in 2015.  Yesterday, careless house painters did something to cause some of the cover panels to separate.  With sunlight coming through, I went into a bit of a panic.
I called Royal Covers and spoke with Jeff.  He was in Phoenix, happened to be in-between jobs, and amazingly - was at my house in a half hour to take a look.  He and another employee returned this morning and put the panels back together.   I, of course, was worried about additional damage but fortunately, they went together easily enough and my patio cover is now sealed again.
btw - when my HOA first told me about the painting, I contacted them.  Jeff even offered to come out to show the painting company what they needed to do so they wouldn't damage it.  As you can tell, the painting company ignored that offer.
I wrote this because of service above and beyond.
I am so grateful for their timeliness and service.

Royal Covers and construction just finished tearing down a storm damaged porch and replacing it with a gorgeous Arizona room.  I am delighted with the finished room.  Installers were great to work with.  I highly recommend them.  Lead was Jeff and he did great keeping me advised.

I have had the worst experience with Royal Covers of Arizona.  Everytime they said they would call back they do not!!  They said 4-6 weeks from the moment they were at my house they would start with the building of my pergola, and they along the way changed their mind and said it would be another 4-6 weeks.  They would not even give me a time frame and or schedule a date.  They then informed me that my business was not as important as there customers they were already taking care of.  I explained to them that my job is crazy and I need to set a date to have you out because my job takes me all over the world and I know when I will be in town so lets start with a date to begin building my pergola and they said they could not do that and I asked do you want to lose my business just because you cant set a date in a month or so to begin the process and they said that is what we will have to do.  I am definitely not impressed.  They tell you one thing and their contract has all the opposite information.  I would not recommend this company to do outside patio covers.  Thank you for your time. The sales people just tell you what they want you to hear and write up something entirely different.

Their employees were kind and knowledgeable, and provided timely answers to our questions. When it came time for the install, they did amazing work and were done in just a few hours! Royal Covers is the bomb. From beginning to end. Start to finish, we received exactly what we asked for and they made the process so easy. Pete was perfect. Perfect Pete is what we were calling him. They young man who did the install was efficient and organized and polite to boot. Would I recommend Royal Covers? Any day of the week.

I love my new equinox pergola and can't wait for the cooler weather so I can sit outside and enjoy it. The installers did a great job and all of them were very professional and nice the entire time they were at my house. They cleaned up everything when they left and I could not be happier with their work.

I would like to give a glowing review to Royal Covers for installing our beautiful patio cover, lights, and fan. We had a fantastic experience. Our sales contact was Larry See. Larry definitely knows the product and is technically inclined. Everything he said that would happen, happened. There were no surprises. I appreciate that he was readily available to take my calls, answer my questions, and responsive to email and text. This is very important as you want to know that businesses really do want that opportunity to earn your business. Larry definitely wanted our business. He wasn't pushy at all. In fact, he was very laid back which was appreciated.
We chose Royal because of their professionalism, but also their time in the industry. They've been around since the late 70s. I found this to be impressive. Once we ordered the cover, we also had our choice to go with their other side of the business Royal Electric or venture out on our own. I screened several electricians, but I wanted to see who Royal Electric would have doing the electrical installation. They sent Corey. Corey is fantastic! He's extremely knowledgeable, laid back, and mild mannered. I liked his ideas and really trusted his judgement simply based on his character. I've definitely found my permanent electrician in Corey. He represents the business well.
I also had the pleasure of meeting Lorenzo and Bobbie the cover installers. Again, extremely nice and very knowledgeable. Lorenzo has been in the business for decades. I couldn't believe how quickly they got the patio constructed. Ask for Lorenzo as your installer when you purchase a cover.
Our patio looks AMAZING!! This is definitely money well spent. Royal is competitively priced, but they aren't the cheapest. I had a couple businesses chomping at the bit to sign us. When I look at cost vs. value, I'll take value every time. I feel very confident my alumawood patio is solid and won't give me any issues.

We have done business with Royal Covers multiple times.  Several years ago they installed a patio cover for us and the experience was a good one- they kept their schedule and provided a high quality installation that has withstood the test of time.  That is why we came back to them when we needed a large motorized roll down shade for our patio- and again we were pleased with their service and quality product- we will use them again if the need arises.

Royal Covers and Larry See were professional, timely and created a really beautiful patio cover for my home.  I have never been much of an outside person and I have lived in my house for 16 years, but after the installation of the patio cover, I keep getting pulled outside.  It is lovely looking out my windows and I now purchased patio furniture so I can now enjoy it also while outside.Royal Covers did exactly what they promised and delivered a product that was better than I thought I was getting.
