Recommended by 2 of our neighbors who had major plumbing issues. We had 2 different plumbing issues, weeks apart. 1. We had a sewer line backup into our kitchen sink/laundry room sink--the day before a party at our home!  Plumber, Fernando, came out the next day, on time,--snaked the drain, the clog cleared, party was great, and they were reasonably priced.  He was professional, efficient and polite.
2.  Noticed water oozing down our basement wall, which is part of our internal garage wall.  Memorial day weekend.  Called Roy Dossey plumbing, left a message, requesting a Wednesday appt.  Phone call back on Tuesday, appointment for Wednesday.  Plumber, Scott, showed up on time.  Assessed the situation, with much critical thinking, (we thought it was the sewer line under the garage floor slab that we had a problem with 7 years ago). Scott determined it was the hot water pipe behind the wall/behind the hot water heater in the garage.  Cut a hole in the drywall and sure enough, the pipe had sprung a pinhole leak that had been leaking down our basement wall.  Fixed the leak, we requested a new hot water heater (ours was on borrowed time), had a hot water heater delivered and installed!  All within 2.5 hours!

Have used numerous other plumbing companies to only be disappointed with their work/price and their work ethic of trying to sell products/services that we did not need--hence the plumbers are on commission.

Had a whole bunch of work done today: replace our water heater, add a hot water recirculating pump, replace two faucets at the outside hose bibs, and replace the water fill valves at the washing machine. The techs were helpful and friendly, properly prepared for the job, and readily accomplished every one of my requests. I am very pleased!! I've been using Roy Dossey Plumbing since roughly the mid-1980s (at least three houses ago) and will continue to call them when the need arises. I highly recommend Roy Dossey Plumbing.

They showed up the same day I called even though I said it wasn't urgent at the time.  I had a pinhole leak in a copper line that was  very problematic to get at, and I had had a previous estimate that was over $1000 and involved jackhammering up the concrete slab inside the house.  

Scott and his assistant showed up and fixed it in about an hour for 1/10th the cost--no jackhammering and no mess.  It was a creative solution to a difficult problem and I was impressed as I have done some plumbing.

We hired Roy Dossey Plumbing to fix a leak coming from the bottom of a toilet. The technician advised that the issue was simply that the wax ring needed to be replaced/doubled up, which was done and the issue was fixed. However, the reason for my negative review is that they ruined our flooring in the process. Our flooring was just a year old! In the process of removing the caulking, the plumber chipped our laminate flooring in several places. There was one panel of flooring that was slightly wet due to the leak, so I accepted the couple nicks in the floor, although I was upset about it. The plumber did a sloppy caulking job, so we requested they come out to remove it so we could do it ourselves. They came out to remove the caulking and chipped the flooring again, but on the opposite side (where the floor had not gotten wet).

I contacted the manager, Cathi, to express my concern. I had no intention for asking for anything, but thought it was important to share the experience so this doesn't happen to someone else. I was polite, but expressed my disappointment and dissatisfaction, as we will now have to replace our flooring in the bathroom. She was immediately defensive, telling me how long they've been in business (that is irrelevant to the issue). She told me that the chips in the flooring is just a consequence of pulling the toilet up and it's bound to happen, and to buy a bigger toilet to cover it. I would need a pretty huge toilet to cover their mistakes. Rather than try to understand my frustration, Cathi continued to make excuses. My issue is not the slight scratching where the caulking was, my issue is the chunks of wood that are inches away from the toilet, which is just poor workmanship. I sent her pictures and she stated that she would also send me pictures that her employee sent her. She also said she would speak to both men that worked in our home and would follow up with me. It has been two weeks and I have not received pictures, a follow up call, or even an apology. I will never do business with this company again.

If you do choose to do business with this company, I recommend taking before pictures, and possibly standing over their shoulder to watch them work.

Two plumbers arrived and had our toilet fixed to stop the leak in no time. They were friendly,  explained the issue they had resolved, and the bill was very reasonable. I will use them again without hesitation!

I have used roy dossey multiple times for various plumbing issues around the house. They are very efficient and reasonably priced. During the last visit to replace the garbage disposal he was done so quickly that I had him fix another minor item on my todo list as we still had plenty of time left in our hour. Great service.

I would say if you are having problems with any of their work give them a chance to remedy it because they might surprise you in the end.

Just had my kitchen faucet and disposal replaced. And also a toilet rebuilt. Dossey has been our family plumber for the last 40 years or so. Always quick to respond and they work fast with always great quality. A good Chandler family we always call for our plumbing needs.

I had a leak in front of my house that I just bought and was recommended to Roy Dossey. I'm so pleased that I was. I had a few extra little things that I needed done in the house that I was procrastinating on and the gentleman that came out knocked it all out saving me so much time. They did such an amazing jib and were very reasonably priced. Hands down I would recommend them to anyone.

Plumbers came on schedule.  They listened to what my issues were and assured me they could fix them.  Maybe one hour later everything was completed.  The price was very reasonable.  I would use them again and recommend them highly

It was great that they showed in mask. I used them for making a new gas line from the meter to our kitchen, and also to fix a leak under our sink. They were very reasonably priced and very professional.

Inevitably, I woke up to a leaking water heater during my one day off in over two weeks. I called our regular plumber, but he wasn't able to come out due to illness. Now I was really stressed. I talked to Boyett's, the company from whom I rent a water softener and hot water recirculater. The owner highly recommended Roy Dossey Plumbing and said they had been doing business with them for quite awhile.

The person I talked to at Roy Dossey was very helpful and was able to get a plumber out that afternoon. She told me the anticipated price and estimated time of replacement. Two gentleman arrived at the quoted time and took about 90 minutes to replace our old water heater and install a new pan.

Everything went smoothly and made a stressful situation fairly painless. Couldn't have asked for more.

In one week I had a problem with my sink leaking into my kitchen cabinet and shower leaking from top floor damaging the ceiling in my dining room. I called Dossey and they were incredibly responsive. I sent a pic of the parts needed, they ordered and repaired both in the same week. Knowledgeable, thorough and respectful repair experts.  Highly recommend!!

As with a few reviews below, they were, No-Shows, No-Answer, and No-Call Back.

I have a scary problem of an underground water main leak. I called them and was told that someone would be by to assess the problem that afternoon, or the next day, and they would put me on their schedule for 7 days out.  

I stayed home for both of those two days, and they never showed up.  Then I called on the 3rd day and they did not answer.  I left a message asking if I was still on the schedule for the appointment they had available.

They NEVER called back. (still have not,)  All this while I had a large problem that is getting worse as I was waiting on their help.  

Then I had to start all over to get on the schedule with another company.

Terrible response. Called after hours and left a message. Just had simple scheduling questions and I received no call back what so ever. My message was very clear on my contact info. I have worked with several plumbing companies that respond 1st thing in the morning. I have not had any form of contact.

Had a previous estimate to repair a shower that could go to an extremely high cost.  Wouldn't know what the cost would be until started the work.  Found Roy Dossey Plumbing.  Told me what it would cost and had it fixed in no time with a very fair charge.  Feel very fortunate to have found my forever plumber.

Unless they can make a lot of money on your house, they obviously can't be bothered.  My advice is to not be too detailed when leaving a message for them or they will NOT call back.  Our hot water heater is under warranty, I guess too small of a job for them to even return the call as a courtesy.  Yes, I understand completely as our home is only a few years old (a fact I stated in my detailed message) - so I'm guessing there is not really much they can create as problems, so they choose to ignore the service call rather then have the decency and the professionalism to return the call.  And to advertise 24/7 too - really?!?!!  Too many good honest companies out there to choose from and this is NOT a company that I would recommend.  Thank you Ben Franklin for saving the day.

Before you call any other company....check with the Dossey company first.
They relocated a water pipe in less than half the time another company estimated the job to be. The cost was 1/3 the original bid. The next time we used this company, again, the job was done in a flash, saving us money....and the hot water heater went in with out a hitch the recirculation unit was hooked up ( the last company didn't bother to re-establish the line) and the second floor bathrooms now have instant hot water. The third call was to change out a filter.
Plumbing can be such a pain.....with one problem after another.
Dossey comes in ...does the job right the first time....reducing frustration and you mind is free of the problem.
Kudos to a great family business!!!!

Friday almost 5 pm and I discover there is a leak in the copper pipe coming directly from my water main!  YIKES!!  One call to Roy Dossey and they had a guy out within 30 minutes.  Less than an hour later, water is back on and I am a happy camper.  This is not the first or the last time I will be using this family owned, competent, honest and reasonably priced company!!

The woman on the phone, whom I believe to be the owner, was very polite, professional, and didn't waste either of our time. I needed help with our current home and our soon-to-be on the market house and they came on time, if not a little early, to do both in the same day. I didn't need anything major, however there was a slew of plumbing issues that needed to be done. Scott and Paco took care of everything and were open and available to any questions I had while they worked. They took care of both homes in about 3 hours including the travel time between homes. The work looks and works like someone whom takes pride in their craft. They didn't look to sell anything that wasn't necessary and took on the list of things I needed addressed. Scott even asked if I would run to get some parts they needed at Home Depot because they cost less there than what would it would cost for him to get it for me. I definitely will use them again when the time comes and would recommend their services to anyone looking for a plumber. Thanks!
