Grossly overcharged for job. Was quoted for repair or cold water leak that would require work from attic. Turned out was leak at water softener and required rerouting of piping for about 20 feet. Paid $2500 for what was maybe a $1000. job.  I developed a water leak 3 days before leaving town and listing the house for sale. Shame on them taking advantage of a situation for which I was under time constraints. Shame on me for not being more informed as to what was required. May be good for small jobs but be wary of anything more than

I had a new sink (undermounted) put in which was 300 pounds and under granite; plus a new garbage disposal and all new piping-couldnt be happier.

West was fantastic in responding to my request for a water heater.  On the spot, haul away the old, replace with the new.  Great service and will definitely call them again for future water softener install and shower leak repair.

James was great!! Our sink broke and we needed a new fixture put on. He came over right away, even though it was at night and was done super fast! I also loved that he cleaned up afterwards. A pipe in my ceiling burst when I was not there. What a mess! James responded right away and coordinated a time my brother could meet him at my house. He gave me two options for repair then replaced the entire pipe. It turned out the one that had burst was not up to code. The job only took several hours. He gave a quick look at the pipes that were visible and gave me peace of mind. I was very pleased!

There is little that compares to the feeling of seeing water pour out from under your sink.  When I had the misfortune of that experience, I quickly called James at West Plumbing.  He came right over, immediately identified the problem, assured me that I didn't need to be embarrassed about how simple of a fix it was, and he was on his way.  

Of course, when we needed a plumber while preparing to sell our house, we called James again.  The process was simple, same as the time before; he provided a quote, did the job, showed me how it worked, and emailed me a receipt including a photo of the solution.  This was handy because I could forward it to my realtor and she easily check-marked the job complete.

He's professional, friendly, and clearly knows his stuff.  I will definitely keep his number around at our new house!

I had to have a step in shower installed- old bathtub removed.  They were on time, tidy and professional.  I will do business with them again- without a doubt!

Had an overnight hot water tank leak and flood.  James West came quickly that morning and made temporary repairs, then replaced the tank.  Super quick and effective service got us back to normal quickly.  James is neat, polite and responsive.  Highly recommend!

They didn't gallop up on white horses but they did Save The Day!

Entire downstairs is torn up, refrigerator and W/D are in the dining room. Stove is outside. We have a tight timeline for the various sub-contractors who are lined up to keep this downstairs renovation moving along.........and THEN we hit (literally) a big black pipe as we are cutting down what we thought was a decorative half wall....gulp

Tile guy knows a plumbing guy - makes a call - bright and early next morning JAMES shows up with his trusty right hand man and an hour later we are back on schedule!  Price seemed MORE THAN FAIR given our dire circumstances and my obvious lack of leverage to get bids and squabble about nickels!

Had them come a clear a drain and install a toilet.  Both jobs were much more difficult than expected but they kept to their quote.  And they did a very good job.  I now have a go-to-plumber.  I would have paid more for the job as they earned it.  Pete, the tech was great.

Called James and he was able to come out the same day. He was also able to accommodate my tenants schedule and get everything installed and repaired within the same day again. Great guy to deal with. Much appreciated! Will use again.

James and team helped with installing new handles and cartridges in our two bathrooms about a year ago.  His responsiveness is astounding, and his prices were extremely competitive compared to the other bids I received.  As this is a vacation property for us, it was critical that I was able to coordinate all the details with him remotely, give him access to the property, and arrive with the work finished.  About a year later, the Mixet handle continued slipping causing the water to not shut off completely and making it impossible to adjust the water temperature (not due to any bad install by James' team but rather due to the Mixet design which we had to continue using because this was consistent with the original install).  I reached out to James to see if he can help trouble shoot.  He responded immediately and came out to fix the issue quickly.  Love the outstanding service he provided and continued to provide. I highly recommend West Plumbing with James at the wheel.

Need to do a re-pipe on my home, someone came out to review the job and said  he would have estimator e-mail me back with estimate. Obviously, not interested in the project, gave me an estimate close to $20,000. Other estimates came in at half that---Prices too high

I requested a quote from West Plumbing and received an answer very quickly. They were able to have someone come out and fix my toilet within two hours of my phone call and within the time that was promised. Peter did an excellent job and was very courteous and patient with my five year old daughter who wanted to talk to him while he was at our house. The price was very reasonable, especially for same day service on a Saturday. Thank you very much West Plumbing!

Outstanding service from James.  Quick response to my request in a matter of minutes and he was at my home within the hour.  He diagnosed an AC leak quickly and had it fixed in under an hour for a fair price.

The good - came out late on a Saturday night.

But don't waste your time here. I was quoted $1,050 to exchange an in warranty 50 gallon water heater. I got a 2nd quote for a verified service for my brand of water heater for $315.

Honest and professional, and gave options for toilet plumbing work. The work was done on schedule.

James was prompt, courteous and very professional. Quoted me a great price. I won't hesitate to call them up again. I'm very pleased, thank you again!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED,  I called and left a Vmail and James promptly called me back within minutes.  Told him our kitchen drain was clogged and he gave me a low cost price over the phone.

There's an old saying in plumbing - if you want something done right, don't do it yourself! The team at West Plumbing has continued to impress me as extremely knowledgeable, accessible, and professional.

For anyone who's owned or lived in a home, you know that plumbing troubles are surely to sprout up here and there. West Plumbing has helped us navigate through both basic and complex issues. From something as simple as reconnecting a toilet handle to addressing a leaking upstairs pipe. They're great at diagnosing and explaining the problem, followed by fixing it and offering creative preventative ideas for the future. One time, our shower handle broke off mid-stream and the water wouldn't turn off. It was late at night, so I had to turn the water off to the whole house. We asked a good handyman friend to come by that night, but together couldn't figure out how to pull out the handle mechanism. So, we called West. They came out the next day and fixed it in less than 30 minutes. Voilá!

Often for home repair, we'll work directly with our Home Warranty. The downside there is that you're at the mercy of whoever is contracted with that service, and the quality of the workmanship is inconsistent. While it can be cheaper to go through a warranty, or shop around on price, you run the risk of a poor job, or requiring several visits and second opinions. I trust the opinion of the West Plumbing team every time!

Since then I went out and got three estimates. All three within 500.00 of each other. West was 4 times more expensive. Even under pressure don't use them

I asked West Plumbing to install a sink and faucet.  I made the decision to choose James over others, due to he gave me a price over the phone that was comparable to other companies but the others wanted to also come and look, even though I had sent pictures to them.  Not that I mind free estimates, but waiting for someone to come and verify a price only to have them increase it for reasons I know aren't valid (I'm a female and used to do my own repairs) is a waste of everyone's time.  Also, some won't return calls in time.  In fact, one company that was supposed to call me back the day before but didn't, ended up calling me right after James left.  Had to say sorry, job done. Thank you James, you guys were not only quick, you did a great job!

I came home from work and I had a puddle of water in my garage. It was coming from my water softener. I called my home warranty and they said they don't cover water softeners. So I yelped West Plumbing...called and he came in 30 minutes. Quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced the softener. He drove to Home Depot and brought it over right away and installed it. He was quick and efficient. I will definitely use west plumbing again!

I've had many contractors to my house over a thirty yer span.  West Pumbing does what they say they will with competency and efficiency.  But beware of a sliding cost scale.  Apparently, James will bid a job based on what he thinks he can milk you for.  I broke my rule of getting 3 bids for the job they they did, and I regret it.

Found them in Angies List for my area.  Just need two faucets replaced in a new build home.  The quote was almost $700.00 - Hard Pass.

Our water heater failed on Saturday afternoon. After 5 phone calls around town, James answered the phone and showed up 2 hours later. He promptly replaced the water heater and explained the maintenance process. We were back in business that evening. I would gladly recommend West Plumbing to our friends and neighbors.

I did the home depot/lowes route 4 times to get my kitchen sink drain correct, and it still leaked.  James came to our house and gave me the option to have a cheaper repair, or a full re-build of the drain pipe.  I really appreciated being given that choice.

Within an hour, James fixed what took me hours of frustration and 4 trips to stores to do.  Well worth the investment because now I know it is fixed for good.

Had to call James and Bubba again! Had a large leak in a valve outside of the front of our house. Whole thing needed to be replaced and James and Bubba did another great job for us. I had west plumbing replace an undercounter stainless sink with a neoroc drop in over granite. They had to cut the granite to fit the sink in. Stainless was too much of a scratch headache. Jim was the guy who did the work with his partner. They were not exceptional, they were better than that if there is another word to describe them. The work was top shelf quality, perfect fit and even added a hot water dispenser to boot. A little messy with granite dust but nothing a cleaning service couldn't handle. Prices were fair and I would highly recommend this company hands down for your plumbing needs. Great job. Thank you

I had just purchased a gas slide in range. I thought I would need to move the gas line in order to close gap behind it. James and his co-worker (forgot his name) came out within a couple of hours of my call. James was able to reposition existing gas line to make it work. Only took a few minutes and just a service call fee.  This is the way to do business. He will have all my future plumbing business!

We needed a water softener installed. James, at West Plumbing answered my inquiry through Home Advisor. He quoted me a price on the phone and could install on the day we needed it. He called to confirm that he would be at our place on the time agreed. He was on time, very neat and the final price was what he quoted plus parts, which he had let us know up front. Very pleased and will contact West Plumbing for any future plumbing needs we may have.

Amazing service from James. Responded to my service request and called me immediately on a Saturday. Honest and very courteous person and good price for his services. Will definitely be using this company for any plumbing needs from here on out.

James called. Set up an appointment for 3-6 PM that day to fix my toilet. Plumber (not James) arrived at 4ish. He was here 5 minutes, said my toilet either had a clog (which I knew obviously) or they'd need to bring in someone to send a camera down to see what the problem was because that's what happened on another job. THEN he told me he had to leave to pick up his girlfriend in Phoenix.......not doing the work but leaving me with a clogged toilet. He was not dressed like a plumber, didn't introduce himself, didn't offer any id, made another appointment, and left.
I called another plumber and cancelled the appointment.
Very unprofessional.

These guys are awesome!  Fast service and great price.  They did a great job and saved me tons of money compared to other bids on a slab leak repair.  Very creative approach to prevent having to rip up my travertine and concrete.  Made is super easy for me to repair small dry wall patch after and that was all.  Like the leak never happened.  James and team are my go-to guys for all my plumbing needs going forward

West Plumbing wanted to charge $575 to install a kitchen faucet. When I declined, they demanded I pay $85 for the estimate. The next day, I hired Gold Star Plumbing for the SAME project -- only $250.
