Shon provided amazing service.  The water line to our home developed a leak and I had to shut off the main at the street and call for a plumber - fast.  Shon arrived earlier than expected and worked hard to restore water to our house.  The price was fair and the workmanship top-notch.

Well I called Mr.Rooter for a camera inspection. James Gustafson and Elton Cross came within an hour of my calling. They did an excellent job and explained things for me to easily understand. I saw on the monitor,  the condition of my house's pipes. I agreed something had to be done. I received an estimate for the work needed to be done. That's all I needed from them. Thank you Mr.Rooter!

Don't use Mr. Rooter unless you have all day to sit at home waiting.  The first time I called them, the plumber was late.  He was very courteous and thorough, though, so I thought I would try them again.  The second time I called them, they apparently sent all their plumbers to big, complicated jobs first because nobody every showed up at my house.  Don't think that choosing the early 8am -10am window will make any difference because it won't.  I think I will take my business elsewhere from now on.

Did a scope and they gave us a quote. They said they would give us a video of the scope, but when we realized we didnt get it, we requested the video and never heard back. Tried calling back 4 additional times and made no headway. Ultimately we stopped trying and are moving on. Not even pursuining a refund... we will have more piece of mind just moving on.

We had an issue with our pipes being blocked and it was quickly resolved!!!  Frank was an amazing technician and kind!  He helped us understand the issue, walked us through the process he was having to do, and answered all of our questions. Frank was super fast in responding to our issue and fixed the issue within an hour.  We are very pleased with the results and recommend Frank for any of your household needs with Mr. Rooter!  THANK YOU, FRANK!!!

I had read Mr. Rooters reviews on Yelp long before I needed them which happened to be this last weekend. It was a very involved job and I liked that they referred to a pricing book (rather than pull a number out of the blue), to let me know worst and best case scenario.Phil helped me out on this job and I can't say enough about his knowledge, courtesy and care in my home.I believe I paid a fair price for a job well done and in no need of a call back. This again will be my go to plumbing service. Thanks to all you yelpers who help us navigate muddy waters in the service industry. .

My review is for the service we received from Elton. Elton saved us $11,000.00 in repairs on septic main line. The excellent service consisted of an immediate estimate for a main line to be replaced in a septic system in a home we were considering purchasing. After the usual home inspection on a prospective home which looked pristine, we had a video inspection done of the septic tank LINES. The original steel pipes from 1961 had cracks, holes, and annealing issues, from original bathroom and kitchen, to the septic tank, which was UNDER THE HOME. When buying an older home with the original piping, it is good to check them, and we are so happy we did. While the home subsequently passed the county inspection for the actual septic tank, the county does NOT check the lines leading to the tank. We declined to purchase the home...as the seller declined to repair the home. (Hey, you got me!) Hope the seller discloses the new facts about this 11K repair job when YOU are looking to buy that house! We needed info FAST...and we received FAST and EFFICIENT service from Elton at Mr. Rooter. He came out immediately and did his own video inspection, wrote us up an estimate including all the measurements, what the company would and could not do, indicated the warranties for products and labor, and was available for our questions. I found him to be personable, helpful, courteous and professional. We shared his estimate with the seller, hope they use Mr. Rooter to fix the house before selling it to YOU. In the near future, we will be putting our OWN home up for sale soon, and will call Elton to come do a pre-sale inspection so we can do repairs before selling. It is unfortunate that many buyers do not protect themselves, when it is so easy...make it part of a home inspection to call Elton at Mr. Rooter, for a video inspection of septic lines to make sure you know what you are getting into! Remember...just because the county approves a septic TANK...that inspection never explores the septic LINES! In this case, we would have had to jackhammer the slab out in two rooms, paid over 11K in just pipe and slab repairs, and THEN remodeled the floors, repaired the drywall, etc. Mr. Rooter saved me an $11,000.00+ headache...with just ONE PHONE CALL to Elton. THANK YOU!

I called Mr Rooter and they answered right away, and made me an appointment for the next day to check on a small leak in my kitchen faucet.  They were on time, and didn't charge me anything at all for the visit because it was a very simple fix that took only a few minutes to do and then inspect.  Thank you Jesus, the plumber who came out.  Would highly recommend as I had a previous company come out for another short visit for a different problem and they charged me a lot and didn't really fix the issue.

Excellent customer service and communication! I called yesterday for someone to come out and clean a few drains and they sent a tech today. They called to remind me of my appointment and let me know the tech was on the way. They texted me a reminder with the tech's picture (safety first). The tech arrived with a smile and booties on his shoes to keep my floor clean. He was able to clear out 3 drains and showed me what the issue was (hair creature that rivaled a full size animal). He was quick but thorough! He left areas clean. I will definitely call them again if needed (hopefully we don't lol). Shout out to Jason Wall who exemplifies customer service!

We were very impressed with these folks.  We had a clogged line starting from our kitchen.  They came out the first day and cleaned the line.  The next day, it was obvious that there was still a clog (the sink backed up) and they were right on top of it.  Sent Robert to scope the line and then Dwayne to give it another thorough cleaning.  No extra charge.

It's been working great since.  Really excellent customer service and follow-through.

My son recently had plumbing  drainage problems,  decided on Mr Rooter Plumbing. Paul ,the technician , did a video camera inspection that showed rusted, corroded drain pipes.
Before the construction, Paul explained  to me  and my son that it will take 10 to12 days to complete the job.It  will involve  removal and replacement  of drains/pipes,bathtub,  cutting through the walls and  use of jackhammer on concrete  floors. Paul also assisted my son with the necessary paperwork, provided pictures  to the insurance company  and  always available to answer  our  questions.
During the construction, David  and 2 other technicians were polite, courteous  and trustworthy. They also tried to keep the house  as clean as possible.
Now that the job is complete,(and they did a great job !),we will  never  forget the exceptional  professionalism  and kindness extended to us by Paul, David ,Marty and all who helped ----so we can have  our bathrooms  back. We  thank you.

Situation was dire: I had a slab leak under the slightly elevated section of my driveway, and it seemed it had been going for a few days. At least.

This was going to be an expensive repair. No. Matter. What.

On top of that -- there was no obvious location on the source of the leak. The way the water was running atop the concrete, it appeared there could have been three points of origin. Great...now I needed a leak detector. That will cost another few hundred.

After calling several plumbers in the area getting tremendously high quotes (Really?! Thousands of dollars?! You're not replacing the full line; this is merely a repair) or apologies that the work could not be done for a few days, I ended up calling Mr. Rooter.

I'd heard of the company, but did not have a good sense about its reputation. Checking out the Yelp review, I found that things appeared mostly positive. So I went for it.

Only problem I had, interestingly, was getting the quote and making an appointment. There was something wrong with the telephone tree that would not patch me through to a human being. So I asked for a quote via Yelp and got a response within hours. I appreciated that.

I had the good fortune of being assigned Mike S. and another Mike, whose last name I cannot recall.

The quote offered was competitive considering what I had hear from other folks. And they could finish the job within a 24-hour period. Also, I found that Mike S. and Mike #2 were friendly and forward during their inspection. I'd had leak experience with my home in the past, so I had at least minimal knowledge of the task ahead.

After the initial inspection, I was left with Mike S., who is extremely dedicated to his craft. He was careful, deliberate and patient during a job that took hours upon hours. And he made sure that the patch job was adequate, also cleaning up the entire area and the pavement above the repair. He even took the extra distance to make sure that patch job was a uniform color with the rest of the slab section. That was greatly appreciated!

I most certainly would hire Mike S. again. Without hesitation. I am pleased with the results of what could have been a far more nightmarish situation.

Emergency plumbing situations always seem to arise when you have to leave town.  Mr. Rooter's staff, from the person who answered the phone to the tech, Mike Siringer, were so professional and courteous.  They had our situation assessed in less than an hour and we were on our way.  We knew there would be no problems with the plumbing while we were gone and we were advised what we needed to do upon our return.  5 stars, would give them more if we could, for Mr. Rooter and especially for Mike Siringer, our service tech.

Their plumbers are well trained, courteous and honest. They usually have to go to their supply house for parts, which unfortunately, makes the job take longer. Other than that, they are fair and do a great job. It would be great to be able to not have to speak to an out of state phone person. Hopefully they will get local CSR in the future.

I've always received good work from Mr. Rooter with very respectful workers who take the time to explain everything. I appreciate that they charge a flat rate rather than an hourly rate. In can add up when my old plumbing in my 1948 house can take extra work, especially with my 90 degree angled cast iron pipes.

Had a plumber come and look at the large plumbing problem we were having. They never did call me back or send an estimate. I called their office 3-4 times over a two week period asking for the estimate and I was also told they would get it to me soon. That was over 3 weeks ago and still waiting.....will be hiring and paying another plumbing company. Sorry Mr. Rooter you missed out on a BIG job and a BIG payment. Someone in your company dropped the ball.

We had a big leak in our back yard on a Saturday evening, having to shut off the water main to our home.  We googled plumbers and find Mr. Rooter who would come out at night with no additional charge.  Almost unbelievable.  I call the company, the person who answered the call said he could have a tech come out around 8-9 pm.  They don't exactly charge a service fee, they do charge $99.  However whatever the issue is if you have them do the work they will apply it to the cost of the repair.  We got a text with a picture of our tech Miguel, they were very knowledgeable had to dig in my back yard with head lamps, worked after 10 pm was able to fix our problem and get us water back on inside our home.  The cost was very reasonable.  The two techs they sent to my home were very professional.  They didn't charge any additional for working late into the night and even came back the next day to make sure there was no leaks.  I would absolutely use them again and we would recommend them to anyone.

My shower stopped draining and I worked 2 days to get it unplugged. I called Mr. Rooter on Sunday around 2:30pm and James showed up a couple hours later. He was very professional and explained everything very clearly. Price was reasonable and James had the problem fixed within an hour.  I was impressed with the entire experience and would use them again.  Another side note there was no extra charge for Sunday service.

Had an emergency. Was in a bad situation and needed a quick but thorough fix to my problem. Called on a Sunday and was told they would come out that day but they didn't end up coming until Monday because of the work load. Can't blame them for that. They called to let us know at least, which is more than other companies do and greatly appreciated. The crew was great. Stephen and Jacob worked hard trying to make everything right and I was truly surprised at the amount of work they did including digging a lot more than they originally planned. They never complained and were polite the entire time. I think they were here for 3 straight days working.  Jon and Dan kept me informed and were honest upfront about the costs and gave me options. They even worked hard to find solutions in an effort to keep the overall costs down. Rob came in twice and cleaned the drains twice.  Everyone was polite and nice. We all talked and had a few laughs throughout the time. I felt like they were all honest and upfront as possible so there were no surprises. Overall I'm please at the service the entire crew provided. Want to mention Jacob one more time. He came early on the last day to fix the drain cover.  Definitely felt like he made a huge effort and scored big points with me by just being personable. I close up by saying i feel like the work was done right and they didn't do anything without telling me about it and explaining what was happening.

I wish I could leave a negative star review because that's how bad this company is.  We developed a backed up drain in our main drain causing the shower stall to flood, they showed up with a camera and said the pipes needed to be hydro scrubbed but clean outs would need to be installed to do the service.  We were quoted almost $3,200 for the service.  They showed up the next morning and worked on and off till 2:30 in the afternoon and dug a 4 foot hole to install the clean outs.  They told us they needed parts and would be back first thing the next morning.  The next day they didn't show up and I called their office around 11 A.M.  They told me they would check on why they weren't there and call me back.  I was called back an hour and a half later and told they would be there in 30 minutes depending on traffic, I called after an hour of waiting and asked to speak with a manager, the call taker said they were dealing with a customer and she would personally call me back if there was an extended wait. She never called me back.  They didn't show up for 2.5 hours after we were told they were 30 minutes away as my wife and I were getting ready to leave for vacation.  I asked the technician to call a supervisor since they were 6.5 hours late, he got in touch with a Manager who said he would have someone out when we got home from vacation and we would get a discount approved for the inconvenience.  They showed up 45 minutes late for the next appointment to finish the work. Everything was installed and our yard was put back together, but  they could not get a person out to hydro scrub the line till the next day even though it was an emergency and we could not take showers or use our washing machine.  The next day they came and hydro scrubbed the line, we received the bill a short time later and they only gave us $100 off.  It took the company almost a week to get back to us after the invoice was received and they told us they would not take any more money off but would guarantee the work for 7 years instead of 5 years.  Taking only $100 off was insult to injury with this whole ordeal, their website said they are committed to being on time and available 24/7 but that sure isn't the case.  If you value your time and money steer clear of this company.

Called regarding a main sewer line backing up. Offered a $79 clean out on phone. Appointment scheduled between 11AM and 1PM. Plumber arrived at 6PM!  Plumber looked at it and said it would cost $350 to take the toilet off, snake and reseal. Did not consider going from the pipe on the roof. I thought his QUOTE was OVER PRICED. I called Mr. B's Plumbing and Norm quoted $145 +tax! SHAME ON YOU MR. ROOTER for using bait and switch marketing tactics. BEWARE!!!!!

The water pressure in my house went down to almost a dribble, so I had bought a replacement pressure regulator myself from a local plumbing supply store near my house, but I couldn't get it off myself. I was able to get 2 quotes from a couple other companies, but neither could get to me until Saturday and the other after Christmas. I called Mr Rooter and they had someone out here within a couple hours, however they quoted me 400 dollars to replace a regulator that I already had as the other 2 quoted me only 125 to install it as long as they used my part. Since I couldn't go an entire week without water in my house, I felt I had no other choice but to pay 3 times what it would have cost me going with someone else. The Tech was friendly and prompt, but I had to help him hold the pipes and let him use my own tools and a shop rag which he didn't have... after paying him the 400 dollars in cash, he hands me back a hundred and said merry Christmas and that his boss let him change the price to 300 hundred instead. It didn't feel like a Christmas present to me at all, I felt like I got ripped off and taken advantage of due to my situation. The next time I have a plumbing problem that can wait, I'll go with someone else.

I only give one star as you cannot post a review without at least one star!
I called Mr Rooter because they are our next door neighbors to where I work. Mistake. Had a broken pipe - main water line to house. Technician whom showed up Saturday - nice guy. Not equipped to do the repair. Before I got out to show him the leak, he was digging in a complete whole different spot. Showed him where to dig. He did not have the part to fix the leak. Had to drive across town to get. Then did not have the tools to tighten the bolts. I had to loan him tools. Sockets. Then did not have a bucket or cup to get the water out of the hole. We were afraid to leave the pipe thinking it would rupture again. But he could not do a temporary line as he had left his temporary line at another job. Told me to go out at night after the tenant went to sleep and turn off the water.

He called his office who gave him a quote for me to replace the entire line to the house. I was told the Temp repair for $650 would be taken off the quote of $3,200 to replace the line. They did not. They told me the $3,200 was after the $650 was taken off. I way over paid for the work.
If that was not bad enough, they didn't show up for two days out of the week it took to fix. No show - no call. When I called to see where they were I found that when you call, you are calling Colorado. There is NO local number. No local support. Scheduling and calls go through Colorado. Was told on a Friday morning a manager would call me right back. No one ever did. They called on Tuesday to collect.
The workers when they did show up told my wife we were lucky. It usually takes two weeks or more to replace a line. One of my neighbors line broke the following Monday. Labor day. They called another company who had it replaced and buried in 4 hours.

They left a pile of cement they had chipped out piled in front of the front door of my tenant for 4 days along with a chair that was on the porch. Had the 90 year old woman walk out to get her paper she could or would have fallen. And even more. Too much to keep writing.

If this is what they do for a neighbor, imagine what they could do for you.

I would NOT call these people.

Me Rooter, thanks but no thanks.
I appreciate the effort, but we won't be using this company anymore.

After repairing a leak in the bathroom which later lead to replacing a galvanized pipe  for over $700.00 worth of work, we experienced that SAME night water pressure failure in the kitchen.

When we called the guys back to check it out Robert said that the problem was unrelated.  (Hard to believe.). They offered to replace the sink for free.  We don't believe in free service. We left them $20 to pay for the hassle and time to come back.

We went to Home Depot and purchased a new sink for $100 that was the EXACT same model as the old one. We get a call from Robert saying that the sink is incompatible with the house.  When I asked what that means and how much it was so that we might go pick it up for him he haughtily replied with a I'm a plumber I do this for a living I KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT.  When my bf was upset we had a misunderstanding and the plumber Robert started yelling at me on the phone phone YOU CAN JUST REPLACE IT YOURSELVES.

They ended up coming back the next day with the part, and the sink was installed.

Unfortunately, I look under the sink to inspect the work, and there's a nice leak..

Okay. Idon't want to bother these guys anymore considering the situation.  I feel uncomfortable even calling the company to complain about the provider/consumer customer service so I'll use this medium to hopefully provide insight on this situation.

Anyway, gonna call someone else.

Horrible! What a bunch of scam artists. Jake knew that I was out of town and convinced me over the phone that I needed over $1700 in repairs to excavate a broken pipe and to repair a water leak. He stated it would be hours of labor and extensive supplies.  I paid half as a down payment.  Jake and Wayne were unaware that all of their movements were picked up on security cameras.  Jake was on site for exactly 60 minutes researching the problem.  Wayne was on site the next day to fix the problem for 15 minutes. And according to Jake he only spent $20 in supplies. Jake called me to offer a discount from the $1,700 quote, now a total $1,012 dollars.  That comes to just under $800 per hour of labor + supplies.  Beware of this company they are set up to rob you from the first phone call.

If I could give a negative star I would. Total scam. They send two scouts out and they tell you that they need to do a leak detection, which is $700. Then their manager comes out and walks around with a little blue machine and marks where he thinks the leak is, mind youu, he says it could be 20 feet away in any direction. So you ask him how much per hour, he says he doesnt know. LOL. HIS manager will send a proposal. I got a proposal for $5,500.00 for a job that cost me $1,700......Do not use these scammers, you will be sorry.....

Shower faucet wasn't shutting off, so we called our usual local go-to plumbers. They didn't answer right away, so we called Mr Rooter in a panic. Bad decision. Although Junior, Dan, and Jay were friendly and professional, we were charged $501 for them to replace a cartridge. That's unbelievably overpriced. I had my usual plumber over to see if they could fix another issue and they said they would have charged no more than $200 ($160 for the service call and whatever the cartridge costs which...they aren't expensive). I really regret using Mr Rooter and will NEVER call them again.

We called their service for fixing a leaking pool pump pipe around Jan of 2011.  Good phone answering service and the plumber arrived on time and quickly completed the job to our satisfaction.

After completion of our primary request, the young plumber provided a free check on all of our water valves, taught us how to use the water softener, and advised us on how to drain the hot water heater.

List prices were very high, but they were negotiable.  Also check for the large coupons.  I had a good experience, but the high list prices would keep me from recommending to my family.

Let me start by saying I won't call you and I'm telling all my other friends not to call you because you advertise as being open 24 seven and you are not. I actually spoke to one of your text you told me that they would call me in a while it's been 12 hours and I still haven't heard from you. Not a way to win over a customer because you've definitely lost this one and as many people as I can tell not to use you.

My septic system had an immediate problem... it was working one minute and then it was overflowing my toilets and my tub drain. My system is older so I expected it to fail - just not when it did... I thought I had more time. Anyway, I called at around 11 am, was told a tech could come between 4-6 pm, and the tech (Matt) actually arrived by 1:30 pm. The diagnosis was my intake baffle had gone bad and needed to be dug out and replaced. Once the guys got in to the system, it turned out that my outflow baffle was in worse shape - it basically fell apart as we looked at it. Additionally, the pipeline had also 'crunched' as it was from a thin (though up to code) material; the team proactively replaced it with a much thicker pipeline. They also packed my pipeline in salt as a root prevention strategy. I like to learn so, at each stage of diagnosis, I got to see what the camera saw as it happened and the guys were patient enough to explain what we were seeing. Once we got the two baffles and both pipelines replaced, we did one more scope and found that there was a third issue between the house and the tank. The team gave me my options (I could have just left it for later); ultimately, it just made sense to take care of it since the system was already dug out. The 'underground team' (Matt, Jason, William, Connor, and Mike) of Mr. Rooter handled the whole project in four days. They were knowledgeable, polite, professional, answered all my questions, and helped me consider all my options. The final paperwork was a little whonky but that was a systems thing that got worked out before the team left my property so it wasn't an issue. Based on my experience with this particular team (the underground team), I would definitely hire these professionals again!

Kitchen drain plugged up and within an hour or so on Sunday Sept 25, 2022 the Roto Rooter technician arrived and had the drain clear in no time. Highly recommend.

Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Tucson is the best in Town! They came out quickly and started to explain what they were going to do and why. They talked to my Insurance co. and got the OK to do the job.  they work all day every day until the job was done and done correctly.

I appreciated their hard work, and how personable their employees are and they calmed me down by there behavior, workmanship, and there personal care to my very big problems with my plumbing and pipes. Both men Jason Wall, and Joe Duchene, deserve a they highest review and my thanks.   Very happy I chose this company!!!

If I could give less than one star, I would.  We had an emergency call on Thanksgiving night.  Matt Holmes came out and cleaned our line so our toilets would work again and provided estimates for further work related to this service call.

I was advised by Matt the night of the visit that we did not owe any money then and that we would be paying when we completed the rest of the work for what we were given estimates for.  The estimates were sent via email.

We were communicating via text with Matt and his supposed Uncle who Matt said owned the local Rooter branch.  The last message we received said that they were working on some answers to questions we had about the estimates and that they would call us back.  We never received a call nor a further text.

Fast forward to 2/27/23.  I received a call trying to collect payment for the November visit.  I asked for a copy of the invoice, having never been given an invoice - only estimates for future work.  The woman who called said that if I didn't pay the invoice immediately that she would put us into pre-lien.  I again asked for the invoice to be sent to me and said I'd discuss with my husband and pay by the end of the week, as we needed to discuss the estimated work.

That same evening I received a call directly from the tech, Matt, after 7 pm. This call was followed by an email with the invoice and the next morning I received a text message as well.

The invoice that I was finally provided with, months later, has an invoice date of 2/27/23 - the day they called.  Not only did this company harass me over their own failure to invoice and to follow-up as promised on future work but they also harassed me after-hours and utilized three different methods of communication - all within a 12 hour period.

I paid my bill the very next morning but I would never on my life use this place of business for any future work due to their severe lack of integrity, honesty and competence.  This is hard for me to say, considering that in my younger days I actually worked for their sister company, Mr. Electric - both organizations are supposed to be known for their high-level of work and as well as their integrity.

Had this situation been approached differently and had both the tech and the girl calling to collect payment admitted that they failed to invoice for a job, failed to follow-up on their estimates and then ask for payment without threatening to pre-lien, I would not be writing this review.   I would like to warn others of this particular local branch's inability to maintain a professional standard as well as being dishonest in they way they conduct their business.  This was one of the worst services experiences I've ever had.

If you want to flush your money down the drain, this is the place to call. My upstairs shower was leaking, which caused water to drip through my ceiling. The mr rooter experts wanted to charge me ~$6K do do extensive work they claimed was necessary to fix the problem. They were pushy in trying to get me to start right away, but I wanted a second opinion...I'm glad I did. As it turns out, the problem was a small crack in the grout. Another company fixed the problem for $80. I highly recommend not using mr rooter, unless you want to get completely ripped off.

We had a total collapse of our toilet floor.  All of the lumber under the toilet needed to be replaced and took about 60% of the time needed to make the repair.  The bill said replace 3 pipe so the insurance company will not pay a penny.  Mr. Rooter continues to promise to provide a detailed bill but over 45 days days and a dozen calls nothing.  Right now I am waiting two hours for a call back.  This is going to cost me over $2000.00.

We were faced with a major plumbing issue just before Christmas and company arriving...we needed the use of two bathrooms.  The tree root problem in our bathroom was proving to be a BIG problem....Rene was great in tackling the issue head on and getting the job done.  He was careful and checked every step of the way.  He kept us informed when he ran into an issue and let us know his estimated completion date throughout.  He stayed late on the day when he had to turn off our water for a period of time to ensure that we were never left without the use of the other bathroom.  We really appreciated the care he took in completing the job.  Even our dog became a fan....when our Bailey took off after another dog to say hello, Rene ran after him for about a block and brought him home...that is going above and beyond in my book!  Thanks to Rene and Mr. Rooter for helping us through this difficult project.  And by the way, the work was done just before our company arrived so we did have our bathroom back in time....great job!

I would not ever call them again. They advertised a single drain cleaned for $59.95 when he got out here it said it would be $250.00. I told him to leave and he said he would do it for $100.00 with no guarantee. I let them do it but wish I had not. Don't recommend them at all. I felt stolen from.

We needed a simple drain snaking for a clogged kitchen sink. They ran the same scam with us as other reviewers have mentioned and I wish we would have read these reviews before we called them out. A tech came out and pretended to snake and pressure wash the line to no avail because they claimed they were getting caught on a fitting. Then they had a manager come out who pretended that they couldn't finish scoping the line because they were caught on the fitting too and they would need fancier equipment. The manager tried to fear monger and say that we would probably need super expensive repairs, rip the floors up etc. We said if that was the case we would need to get other quotes. They said they would schedule the tech with fancier equipment and never got back to us or sent us a bill. We hired another reputable, local company who cleared the line with a snake in less than an hour with no issues and for far less than what Mr. Rooter was going to charge us. Listen to the other reviews and avoid this company! Especially if you have vulnerable older parents or an old house.

We recently had a very large job performed by Mr. Rooter. In the $5k range.
For starters the guys who did the job were top notch. Very hard workers, not sure they even took a break. Very friendly, and I have nothing to say but very good things about them.
Here's where my review goes a bit south. The office staff. At the end of the job we were told they would do a final camera scan so we could see the results. On Friday, end of the job. We were told the scheduler would call on Monday to come out for the scan. A full week went by and no one called. I sent several emails and texts, no one answered.
A full two weeks later I got hold of someone at the office. I was then told the camera scan would be a new job. I told customer service that was not the agreement. She said there was nothing she could do. The bosses had all gone home, and that was that. She also told me I should not email, the company rarely answers emails.
The next day I got a voicemail from someone in the office. Another voicemail maybe a few hours later. I did reply right away as I was very busy at work. The person that called actually sounded pretty pissed. They said rather rudely. We called earlier, you did not answer us. The tone in their voice was very stern. At no time did they offer any resolution or simply offer to schedule the camera scan.
I did not call them back. I can only assume anyone who would answer the call would basically get defensive and argue. Or just ask for more money.

For a $5K job. I kind of expect a bit more customer service.

We needed a plumbing service on Sunday and thought we would have to pay a huge amount of money because it was a Sunday. How wrong we were. In a short period of time, Brett from Mr. Rooter showed up at our house. He was knowledgeable, soft spoken, forthright, kind and a hard worker who was up on our roof, after dark,  attempting to fix the problem. Brett had to return on Monday to put a camera in our sewer line and he diagnosed our problem immediately. We had a cast iron back splash that had basically disintegrated in the last 41 years. He showed my husband the corroded equipment and came back early today to install the new back splash.  Brett manually dug 4 feet down to get to the line.  Brett performed in an outstanding manner and explained everything thoroughly to us. In our opinion, Brett is a tremendous asset to Mr. Rooter. We highly recommend Mr. Rooter and especially their superb technician, Brett. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

Had an issue with plumbing over the weekend and had to get it take care in a hurry; we had a house full of people coming over that night. Jose and Isidro showed up and readily took care of the issue. The two workers were awesome they really went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. The ONLY reason I am not giving a 5 star is the company is a bit pricey.

The team they sent were efficient, knowledgeable, didn't just fix existing issue , but also pointed out what could have been a terrible problem and even though it was more, it probably saved me much more in the long run. So now I know where my lines are, and feel like I was given the best advise and service. Thanks fellas! I know it cost a lot more than I thought, but better than the thousands it could have been if not repaired. And because it is a new home purchase, to me anyway,  I didn't know where the clean out valves were, and the house inspector told us to find them  and they needed to be placed at soil level, which they did, didn't have to dig through my concrete entrance and were just professional and willing to go the extra mile for me. I appreciated that. This type of thing happened to me at my other home in Oregon and the plumbers kept coming out to clear the lines, at least $600.00 worth of visits before they camered the line, to show that the pipes were broken and in Very bad shape, they had to dig up the whole back yard, including my pavers deck that was 3 years old. I could have saved a bunch of money had they viewed from the start. I found the company to be on time and got the job finished promptly and explained everything. So I was very pleased, even tho it was a lot more than I really wanted to pay. Home ownership costs. However, I would suggest, if purchasing a new home, to have the plumbing lines camera checked before you purchase!!!!! Wish I would have. So thanks Justin and Paul.

I rent a townhouse waaaaaay out by Old Tucson and had a nasty plumbing issue. My landlords were dragging their feet on getting it taken care of. My neighbors were having the same issue and had hired Mr Rooter to take care of it. I happened to be at the townhouse when Mr Rooter was there clearing the lines.

Al, the guy from Mr Rooter, listened to my issue and took about ten minutes to look at my drains after he'd resolved the neighbors' issue. He was incredibly polite and informative, didn't charge for his time or diagnosis, and told me he thought the issue was resolved because he was pretty sure my line was a shared one with the neighbors.

The same-day line clearing ran my neighbors $80 and I would definitely contact Mr Rooter in the future because I was so happy with the quality and professionalism.

Following a negative review of Mr Rooter in Tucson, a Cory Harding called me and stated that since I was very dissatisfied with my service, a refund would be issued for my unsatisfactory service costing $79.00 so that I could employ a plumber of my choice if I chose to do so. I appreciate the caring follow-up on my issue. Louise

BEWARE of MR. Rooter!
I called Mr Rooter because the kitchen sink was backed up and they were advertising $79 to clear a drain. The appointment was between 1 and 3, their technician arrived at 8:30. As soon as this guy walked in the door without even looking at the sink he tells me its going to be $278. I told him I called and told them I want the $79 drain clean. He goes oh the coupon. He messed around for 2 hours and the drain still wasn't clear! He was using a snake with just a spring on the end nothing to grab what was plugging the sink. He said he would be back the next day and of course never showed up after he got his $79 for not clearing the drain. A different company was called and that young man had the drain cleared in a short amount of time. This young man also explained that the spring should of had a claw attached that could grip whatever was causing the plug.
I guess the Mr Rooter guy figured I'm an older lady and wouldn't notice the difference. Mr Rooter has no integrity and they are very dishonest.

My wife and I own a few properties around town and we have called these guys multiple times when we needed an emergency snake when and had no  one else to call.  After dealing with them 4 times I now know exactly the racket they're running.  Younger dude comes out with a snake and clumsily attempts to snake your line.  Around 20 minutes later the manager arrives to let you know the problem will not be fixed with a snake and will need some serious work.  He will offer to run a camera down the lines for free.  After they will let you know you MUST get a hydro wash or the problem will never go away.  Every single time we've had them come they've pulled the EXACT same routine on us.  Last time they came they gave me a  $2300 quote so I called someone else who doesnt work on commission and got it cleared  in 20 minutes for $90 with a warrantee.  Someone should sue this company. Theses guys are crooks.  Ask your local plumbing store for names of honest plumbers.  These are not.

They did a good job with the drain cleaning. But...
The $57 coupon was not valid when there is no clean out access on the ground.
However $350 seems a bit much just to do the same process from the roof.

If Mr. Rooter ever runs a camera down your pipes and tells you that you need expensive pipe repairs, do yourself a favor and obtain a second opinion. After showing up late, then starting to unclog the drain before giving me a cost estimate and obtaining my approval, I was told they could camera scope my pipes for slightly additional cost.

After scoping they told me I had broken pipes and required $10,0000 - $20,000 worth of repairs where they feed new pipes through my existing ones using some fancy technique. They said there were two breaks including one under the house were a pit of sewage was growing and eroding.

I was dubious, so I paid $250 to have another plumber send a camera down for a second opinion. Guess what - Pipes look great with no breaks.  The funny thing is, there's a YouTube video done by a Mr. Rooter guy in some other state describing how other plumbers run a scam like this and to be careful!

This issues is on top of the other issues I had trying to reach someone at Mr. Rooter to pay my bill and issues with the technician.

Really bad experience with Mr. Rooter, who came out in October 2022 to clear a stopped-up sewer line (clean-outs backing up, toilet not flushing, etc.). They pushed for a hydro-clean (high pressure water cleaning of the pipe), saying it was a superior clean-out and giving me a 6 month guarantee. The $1050 high-pressure water clean out lasted  3 months before things started backing up again. Mr. Rooter came out in January 2023, recommended an $11,000 sewer pipe liner. They said they again cleaned out my line but 12 days later, everything in the house backed up again. They came out, again said they cleared the line, again recommended the $11,000 liner. Two hours after they left, the toilet didn't flush properly. At this point, I decided I needed a toilet that flushed, so I called a reputable plumber, who cleared the line and it has stayed clear. To sum up, Mr. Rooter failed to clear my sewer line after 3 attempts, their guarantee was worthless as they did not perform the work properly, and they continually pushed me toward more expensive solutions each time they came. My advice, call another plumber. Do not waste your time and money.

Mr. Rooter was great! The service technician came out to unclog my bathtub and couldn't complete the job up to his standards so he didn't take a payment and came back the next day with different tools. The tub is working great now!

I was quoted $79 on the phone to unclog a bathtub and when the man arrived I was quoted $215, however, he honored the $79 that I was previously quoted. I would recommend having the booking staff and technicians communicate quotes before they head out to the worksite, however, I was very thankful they honored the rate.

Thank you, Todd and Mr. Rooter, for a job well done!
