Our experience was excellent. Everyone was responsive and answered our questions. The installation team - Mike and Lavandis did a great job, demonstrated how to use the system and it looks great.  Not sure why we waited so long, should've done this immediately- piece of mind, extra layer of protection for little ones!

Mike our installer was great.  He was quick, professional, on time and did perfect work.  The office staff was great and the quote was a good 15% less than other similar companies.  Thanks Katchakid!

We had a net installed by this company in January. Right away we lost our pool service because evidently no pool company will take off your pool net to clean your pool. It's now six months later and our pool concrete is cracking around the drilled holes for said net - thus leaving us unable to use it and protect my child from drowning.

Buyer beware: they are taking zero responsibility for their work and simply answered with It's in the wavier that you signed that we are not responsible.  While we recognize we signed a contract, the disappointing lack of customer service in warning us before drilling + additionally pointing out their liability in drilling when signing the contract would have been a tremendous courtesy considering the investment + safety precaution that the net is intended to provide.

We are very happy with our Katchakid mesh pool fence. We originally intended to with another company, but Katchakid's responsiveness and professionalism won us over.

We purchased a katchakid back in 2008 (we think (maybe 2009), it's been a hot minute). we haven't used the net as our kids are older but have kept it on the side of the house to bake in the Arizona oven every summer. We have our of town guests coming with young children and having a doggy door we needed the net. So we pulled it out and after all these years it still works. I am impressed! Well worth every penny, I can't recommend this product or company enough!

Katchakid was great from the start. they came to my home timely and gave me quote and answered all my questions. Lavandis and Mike installed the net and showed me the ins and outs of the system and also answered any questions i had. I have a co worker that has had their net for 7 years or so and he loves it - its less 15 minutes to put on and even less to take off. We dont have a bulky fence around our yard but still able to keep our toddler safe.

Easy to work with and flexible. They're professional and arrive on tome for projects. The product is great. After a month, we still believe getting the pool net was the right decision.

Chris came out and installed the net he was nice at first but after he installed the net  he started ignoring us I had to call the manager to help us that's when it got to his attention. We installed the pool net and we hate it no pool service will service your pool when they know you have the net and it's very complicated to remove the net. And neither Chris or the company informed us that not a lot of pool service would work on the pool.  we brought 4 pool service and all 4 of did not want to service because of the net.  I had no choice but to remove the net and install a new fence so it costed me more than double of the price. Would not recommend this company.

I had to share some thoughts after reading a couple reviews that kind of have me fuming. To read someone considers the extra 10 minutes of putting on / taking off the net as an INCONVENIENCE has me boiling. My kids safety is worth a few minutes and the security of this FANTASTIC product backed by a GREAT company far and away is safer than any fence you can show me.  

First off this is a GREAT product for so many reasons and the most important reason is SAFETY. We purchased our net 14 years ago when our kids were wee ones (4, 2, and a few months old...added another crumb cruncher along the way) and Katchakid has been great. They came and serviced it from time to time when the dog would chew a few pieces (darn him) and it is still in use! My sister in law has little guys now (three boys 3, 2 and a month old) and the net is so important to her when she visits that she peeks outside and smiles when she sees it. In fact, her first purchase in her new home was a Katchakid net for their pool before they even moved in.

To see comments that service people won't clean the pool with a net is utter balderdash. Find a new vendor. Tons of pool cleaning companies and if they care about safety they will not only agree to clean the pool they will comment what a great purchase your made. I know this because I received those comments from pool cleaners that came to provide me service.

Yes, the net takes a few minutes to take off and put back on. Once you do it a few times you will get real good at it and in 5-10 minutes you can knock it out. Again, to drop a low review that indicates this as your reasoning makes me a little unhinged.

I will finish by suggesting you look at your little kids, nieces, nephews, grand kids and ask yourself if 10 minutes of effort is worth the security. The answer is self evident. I love this product & love the people that provide it. If I could grant 10 stars they'd get them.

These things are awesome and are highly recommended! Pool gates get left open, and kids climb fences, and then there's open water!

I really didn't want my view of my pool to be a big fence, so that is why this method caught my attention. Then I researched the process and statistic and it REALLY is the best safety option.
At best they would just get stuck!
When I was researching, I saw a lot of people had the same questions I did. For example, Kids' legs would fall right through! and What if they fall face down? First, yes a tiny childs legs could/would fall in the holes if they walked on it. However they would simply get stuck. That's a lot better than drowning! If they fell face first, the water level is several inches below the net and they would be fine. Yes-it's that tight.
Now if a heavy adult fell on it, it would probably stretch down to the water-naturally. However, hopefully you're not buying the net to prevent adults from falling in-or maybe your parties are that wild, who knows. :)

It's an awesome system and surprisingly quick to put on and take off! Is it a pain? Eh-kind of, but it's not bad. It's worth the extra 5 minutes.

I was VERY worried about how they would get around my rock waterfall and how the pool deck would look and I was VERY pleasantly surprised. At first I though it's just a net over a pool! However, it really is a well engineered system. High quality and they have a great staff.

Horrible experience with this company!!! We recently completed building a pool and wanted to install a removable mesh fence. This company was on the top of our list for the job. After requesting a quote we were contacted by a sales person who did not want to come and take a look at our pool or property. He only wanted measurements. This seemed odd to me and it should have been the first red flag but I went ahead and measured the area requested. After calling him back with the measurements (and having to explain who I was again) a few reasons were  given as to why they could not complete the job. No alternatives were given. Simply no we cannot do that even though he had never seen the pool or property.
I'm not completely sure of the reasoning but I'm guessing if you want a mesh fence this is not the company to go with. Maybe they are more engaged with consumers who are interested in a net vs a fence

My pool is mail safe. Thanks to this amazing company! They were on time, quick, and very professional. I highly recommend them to keep people safe.

We chose this company to install a net over the pool of our newly purchased house last year based on their customer service and the fair price.   Yesterday morning I discovered that the net had broken in a location.  I find that most companies provide great service and promise warranties when they want your money, but you never know how it will be when you have an issue down the road.  I am happy to report that Katchakid 'walks the walk' when it comes to standing behind their product.  I called and spoke with Pearl at 8am and was told someone would stop by when they were in the area...  They showed up an hour and a half later and fixed the net on the spot.   I highly recommend this company and would use them again!

When we purchased our home, it came with a pool net for the pool, but no instruction on how to use it (not to mention no indication of how old the net was! We are certain it was from KatchAKid, but it's older than their digital records so we know that is too old to use!). We didn't have any kids at the time, but now that we do, we knew we needed a way to keep our daughter and her friends safe in our yard. Bobby measured our pool and gave us a quote, and the ordering process was smooth. Lavandis and Mike came by to install it this morning (a longer process than I thought, but not much can be done about that), and the net looks fantastic. We are very happy with the net and KatchAKid.

We've had our net for about 4 years. Been completely satisfied!!  last weekend when I was taking the net off the roller/storage device cracked for its final time and I had to call to check in if they could fix it.  Pearl responded back first thing the next morning as did Bobby who texted me right back! The repair crew called me when they were on their way. It's truly great to see a company with such exceptional service stand behind their product and service.I will recommend to others!!

Awesome company to work with that offers a great product. My wife and I wanted to increase the safety of our pool and decided a net made more sense than a fence for a few different reasons. With that being said, Pearl could not have been more helpful from the time I called to schedule an estimate until the project was completed. Her husband, Robert, came out to the house and provided the estimate after taking several measurements. Robert is a lot of fun and we had a great time chatting with him! Finally, Mike and Lavandis knocked-out the install and tutorial both in about an hour. Mike and Lavandis' work is perfect and we are very happy with the function and appearance of our net! I've come to rely on the reviews of other users... So I want to come back and put in a review for the katchakid net that I bought six years ago when my first child was born. My two kids, ages four and six and I take our net off/put it on in @ 3 minutes... We set the timer to see how fast we can do it! Kind of a fun, family game as part of our swimming routine! It is not a hamper to our weekend swimming!
And just as I wanted. It provides a high level safety barrier without hampering the views from Our patio.

After debating for months on what product and who to use to help us keep our child safe; we woke up and our child could walk!  We decided on the net because of the small yard and security of only a few being able to remove net with special tool.  We received a call to confirm date of installation, which was about 2 weeks out.  We also received a second confirmation the day before installation.  Day of installation we get a call from installers and they give a 15 minute eta.  Installation took a couple of hours and everything was clean and looked good.  Mike did a good job of demonstrating removal and installation.   Lavandis also did a good job answering my questions.   I now feel safer with my one year old running around.   It took me 2 minutes to take completely off and about 9 minutes to put back on my 1st time.   I watched all the utube videos so I was somewhat familiar with installation and removal.   It would probably take my wife twice the time till she gets familiar.  I like the degree of difficulty to access the pool,  which probably means nobody will get in the pool unless I'm present!   If you are unable kneel and squat and don't have grip strength I would probably recommend a fence because the work would probably deter you as well from getting into the pool!   Net looks great and another benefit is we have a beach entrance and now birds can't walk right up to water and drink and leave droppings.   5 stars for customer service, hopefully quality of product is equal to customer service.

Katchakid has been great to deal with.  Love their product.  Just purchased my second net through them and the quality is great.

We have had the pool net for 5 months now. Install was very fast it was on it a week from us calling. The only reason we got the net was because we have two bulldogs that no matter how many times they fall in the pool sink and there momma (me) would have to jump in and save them (winter, summer, midnight, 5am) they would still walk right next to the pool. Still so close there paws would hang off the edge they just didn't seem to learn. To the point where they were basically watched by me at all time 24hrs a day! The pool is very close to the house and has the majority of the yard behind it so getting a pool fence would block the whole view of the backyard. This net has been the best thing we have bought! Just for the peace of mind and I can sleep through the night without worry. It takes about 5 min to take off and put on and is very easy. It is annoying just going inside for lunch and having to put it on then take it off again once we come back out, but again these dogs don't learn to stay away. Funny thing is now they walk around the net holes (about 4 inches away from the pool edge) so never had a issue with them falling on the net knock on wood. But if we ever move we will again get this net over the pool. It's a relief to not have to worry if you forgot to close the pool gate or if a child can climb over it's a complete block of the pool altogether.

Awesome experience! From Bobby coming out for the measurements and quote, to Lavandis and Mike coming out for a timely install, the service was top notch. The net looks great and Mike provided a great tutorial so I'll be able to use it with ease!

Are these people serious!  How lazy are you that you can't take a net on and off.  I have a KATCHAKID net on our pool and we swim usually twice a day in the summers.  I am a 30 year old stay at home mom to a 2 and 3 year old who has NO PROBLEM getting my net on and off.  I usually only take it half off because it is a bit time consuming to do the ENTIRE net but half of it takes me...hmm...two minutes to get off and maybe four to get back on.  I LOVE this product and the company.  I debated between a net or gate and I have major climbers so I needed a barrier instead of an obstacle.  I feel totally safe with the katchakid net and I think the product is genius.

Don't listen to this other reviewer because all I can think of is how lazy these parents must be!  The nets have a FIVE YEAR WARRANTY as well.

These people are AMAZING! Lavandis and Mike came to do our installation and were absolutely fantastic! They took an incredible amount of time to do a demo with me after the installation to make sure I understood everything! I am incredibly grateful for all of their hard work and all they did today! Bobby our salesman was superb and was on top of things! I am so happy with the entire process and thank you all for making this a painless process! The office gals were great too! Thank you!

The estimate was prompt the crew came out and installed within a week.  The product is much nicer than what I was looking at on Amazon and after considering everything only cost a little more than if I had tried to do it myself.  Good company.  Had it far as few months now and very pleased

Second net we have had (had to get a new one with a pool remodel). I always speak with Pearl and she's so lovely. Her husband comes out and does the quotes (he did for us) and the guys that come do the job are great. I asked them to text me, they did, they were on time, professional and friendly. The net itself has prevented the little one and a few others from falling in the pool. I am able to be worry free about anyone, or animal, falling in the pool. We did not want a fence, and this net runs flush with the ground. A fence gets in the way of the yard views. Yes, it requires work to take on and off but I am able to do it without help. As well, we did not want something automatic with a button because I'd either forget (like shutting the garage door) or anyone including a child could open the pool. You don't forget if the net is on! It serves its purpose as a safety barrier for the pool. We can also take off the entire net or a portion.

NETTING NOT CONSIDERED A BARRIER WITH SOME CITIES! We were sold on the pool netting because we didn't want fence obstruction in our backyard. Install went great. Looks nice. Until City of Phoenix tells us that we still have to install fence around pool per codes. We were super bummed we had spent all this money and still had to put up fence. Called Katchakid hoping they could work a good deal on doing a fence for us since we just wasted money on the netting. Apparently the owner didn't really care since we never got a response. The salesman was really nice. So do your research on codes because Katchakid may not give you all the information you need to make the right choice.

Mike and LeVance are great technicians.  They were very thorough when installing our pool net back in December.  They took the necessary time to explain and demonstrate how to correctly use our pool net.  They were just as great today for a service call.  There's no amount of money that can bring back your child; I am so happy we decided on the net rather than a fence, it keeps my little ones safe and it looks great!  I recommend Katchakid 100%

I purchased my KATCHALEAF debris cover 9 months ago. Before writing a review I wanted to make sure I was as happy after a few months as when they installed it.  Yes, I am.

First, their customer service is excellent.  I had to schedule and then change schedules around my travel and they jumped through hoops for me.  Their sales and installation folks were friendly and knowledgeable.  I interviewed three vendors before selecting Katchaleaf and I found this product to be superior and the price to be the lowest.  

I have an odd shaped pool with a deck of varying heights and no straight edges.I have trees all around my pool and with the kids gone, no longer want the hassle of constantly cleaning the skimmer baskets. I wanted a porous product that would block the sun but catch debris. I didn't want a lot of hardware, springs, or bungee cords visible. I knew I'd need to take the cover off periodically and wanted to be able to do that myself.  This product met all of those requirements and an added plus is the tool they provide to remove and store your cover. I've also discovered that I use much less Chlorine and cut my pool filter run-time in half.

I had gotten a couple quotes. One was significantly lower and KatchAKid stepped up to match it. In the end I felt the most comfortable with their product and service. The net is now installed.  It looks great, performs as it should, keeps my hard flowing better than the fence and the install was easy and quick. Lastly, removing and putting on takes a couple of minutes, but a teeneage child can do it in 5-15 min.

We had a great initial meeting, but things started to turn for the worst at install. The net is incredibly cumbersome, and the installers did not even want to demo the complete remove/put on process at my house because of this. I told the installer that I was really concerned about how long it took and how much work it was... and that I was starting to have doubts. He told me to just leave the net half-off of the pool so that it would be easier to secure. I tried this and with the net half-way in the pool underwater it felt less safe than no net at all. Upon removal I noticed that the roller had a safety sticker recommending that the net was always completely off or on, to avoid entanglement issues. My husband and I gave the net a week... we really wanted it to work out, but found it was so much work that the net did not make it back on the pool after a swim (at least 20 mins in the 100+ heat while my child(ren) waits... no thanks. We called the company exactly 8 days later for a return. They scoffed and said that they have never had a situation where someone wants to return. That there was nothing they could do for me. Now I am stuck with an $1800 net I will not use. So disappointed in the customer service.

We were very happy with installation process, training from the installers, the look of the net and video.  We will be teaching our adult children to install the net so we all know how to keep our grandchildren and pets safe.

We absolutely love our Katchakid net! Our pool is pictured here. It's photo #1 of the ocean blue net over the pool with two wok pots. Our net was installed a few months ago and now that we have taken it off and put it back on several times, we are even more satisfied! We believed the net would be a nice alternative to a fence that would block the view of our pool from inside the house. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the net is not only functional, easy to use, preserves the view of our pool, and protects our children and dog but it's beautiful too! I was nervous to have the installers drilling into our travertine pavers but they did an excellent job. They took the time to demonstrate how to use the net and then they walked through it with me. They also provided a helpful DVD. It is not difficult to put on or take off after you've had just a little practice. Once it's on, it is very secure. We could not be happier with the friendly, prompt service we received from this company. We would absolutely recommend Katchakid and their products! Thank you, Katchakid!
