HD Restoration

This company went the extra mile for me and I will be forever grateful. Everyone from the office staff to the team lead and guys that laid my flooring have been top-notch. I recommend them!!

I'm legitimately not sure if this is even a real company. I had a leak in my ceiling and needed some drywall repairs and they wanted an INSANE $2800 to fix it. I was desperate to get it repaired before the holidays though so I gave in and gave them a deposit.

They were scheduled to come between 7-10am and never showed up. No call, nothing. I called and was told the drivers had been in a car accident and would be out the next day during the same window.

Guess what! Didn't show AGAIN.

I called and demanded a refund on my deposit and let them know how absurd it was that they were a no-call no-show two days in a row. They claimed they called multiple times but I didn't have a single missed call or voicemail.

I wish I had read the reviews of this company before hiring them and going through this hassle.

I ended up finding someone on Task Rabbit who specialized in drywall repairs and, get this, charged me $350.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I'm the beginning, everyone was nice and responsive. As soon as work was suppose to begin and I agreed to their job, things began to get complicated. I was unable to get information since HD began blaming USAA and USAA began to blame HD. I was the go between to get work going and through this process! I was working with both sides the WHOLE time. From 7/7/22 until like 9/21/22, I had been battling with this bathroom. Yes, just one bathroom! I NEVER received information if my tile selection was in budget, if my vanity was in budget... nothing! I had to pay cash for a few things that needed to be corrected due to poor workmanship prior to my home purchase such as metal guards covering electrical wiring and the wiring going between the drywall and framing to be moved and ran through the framing instead along with a light switch to be slightly moved after I removed a 6 small wall.
Now that the work is done, after already complaining, the shower floor has a slope in a corner that collects water, grout lines have openings in them behind a faucet in the bathtub and the tiles they choose to place right in the entry way of the bathroom on the floor make it look like there are stains. Not to mention they had to use self leveling concrete before doing the tile, then placed the vanity with 1/2 gap and no trim or anything. And the vanity top was not level to the wall so it has a 1/2 gap at least from the back of the vanity also.
I was also told that my grout would not need to be sealed in the bathroom (shower, floor or tub) when I asked- well.. it certainly is not very easy to clean when you have pooling in corners in your shower! This was supposedly them matching the insurance price. $12,000 later, in a small bathroom with a bathtub, single sink, shower stall and toilet that just needed to be ... I will need to be doing more repairs. Not what I was expecting from this leak behind the shower .. I would NOT use them again. The only time they made sure to return my calls was when they were collecting my money. Also the silicon the placed, or so I thought, around my faucets on my sink leak also. They also had to replace some of the grout on the floor tiles and now it does not match. This company is not worth your energy. All they said was they were so busy they could not keep up. All I could think is then don't take on more! Let me go somewhere else!

Two stars is generous and only given due to the fact that some of the subcontractors Rodney hired did fantastic work.  Bathroom remodel estimated to take 6-8 weeks took over ten months.  The guys he hired to lay the tile were clearly not professionals.  They had to have another guy come out to fix their grout work and cut out and relay tile where the original guys didn't sequence the pattern.  Chunks of grout come up daily still, and I have already paid to have actual professionals repaint the walls.  His guys scraped the new countertops up when installing the sinks by sliding them across the top.  So many other issues but I would fill the page if I wrote them all.  Run fast and far away from this company-you will be thankful that you did.

SCAM! Mitch (premium restoration) and Rodney partner together to promise to have you pay less of your deductible to get your business but end up wanting to do less and have you pay more. We never saw an estimate or scope of work that was submitted to our insurance until the letter from insurance came 3 weeks later. When asking about allowance for the replacement vanity, they said I could use $600 and I would need to pay the difference if I wanted anything better but it clearly states on the insurance form that $1600 was the allowance for the vanity. When asked they said the difference was due to cost of labor and overhead/profit. 60% for labor + o&p?!? That's insane! Funny how they knew the allowance amount when they never had the insurance estimate form in front of them. On top of that, during mitigation of my bathroom, they took out a piece of baseboard in the hallway to make it look like the water damage reached there too. They submitted they would replace all the baseboards in the entire hallway. When asked about that, Rodney replied with do you want us to do that? Well yes, if you're charging me for it. Apparently I was nickel and diming them when asking about work they clearly weren't going to do. Stay away at all cost!

My previous work with them was after a water heater leak (more of a burst). The water mitigation and rebuild efforts were efficient.
Most recent event was a patio roof leak into an alcove in my living room. Again, the right folks were sent out to execute the water mitigation and rebuild.
Oh. Don't let me forget their labor effort estimates always lined up with my insurance adjuster/inspector estimates. Thus no discrepancies to address with my insurance.
Btw, Tony (who did the rebuild for this recent event) , is the man! Great work. Some of the best ever seen. Thanks Tony.

We had a roof leak that caused some damage inside our home. I was referred to them by another company and they were on top of everything. They made sure our insurance was handled and got the job done quickly and looks better than before. We even have appointments scheduled with them to do some non disaster improvements. Brittany in the office was very helpful and thorough in explaining things and setting up a plan on the best way to approach our projects.

We landed on HD Restoration through an unfortunate event - as Im sure has everyone that has used them. We were selling our house and the inspector found a soft spot in the dinning room ceiling, just below our master shower. OYE! We called a plumbing company and they hooked us up with HD Restoration for the cutting and then repairing of the drywall. Because we'd already sold, we were in a MAJOR time crunch to get everything fixed before we closed on the house. Brittany stayed on top of it for us, found someone to come out VERY QUICKLY and the repairs look AMAZING! You cant event tell there was ever two huge cuts in the drywall! Thank you guys SO much for being so efficient, amazing and working with us and our crazy time crunch!!! Hopefully we never have to meet again but if we do, I'll be more than excited to work with you all again!

save your money and avoid these crooks. They overcharged me for work they never did, including fixing and painting my walls and installation/removal of my water heater TWICE because they installed it wrong the first time. They charged for the entire square footage of my garage while they only worked on the corner where my water heater sat. Please save yourself money and a headache hiring these crooks.

Had a water heater leak and HD was referred to me by the plumbing company. They seemed nice enough and do take care of your insurance billing but the quote was ridiculous. Billed insurance to paint my entire garage and kitchen which was completely unnecessary. There were also other very sketchy charges. I get that they add in all of these because they know insurance will pay it but it's not right at all. What frustrated me the most is that when I called to ask about the charges and specifically that we did not want our entire kitchen painted they were extremely unprofessional. The woman I spoke with was demeaning and kept saying that they have to do all this work because they are insured and bonded and it's how the insurance will approve repairs. I called my insurance to ask and was told this company had no idea what they were talking about and purely trying to get more money for work they aren't even planning to do. I got another estimate from another licensed and bonded company which was 3500 cheaper than their quote. Win win for me and my insurance company.

They did my house two and a half years ago and they were supposed to put the best carpet as you can see it wasn't we live in the house prior before the flood our copper never did any of that wrinkled up never as you can see the countertops are lifting away from the wall I've had to patch things up off the wall because it's already came off the wall where it was just only showing the metal as you can see in the corner it's cracking and you can't tell me that it's settling because that's not it my paint is peeling everywhere in the house and this company will not even come to look nor fix it cuz they said it's only a 2-year contract and that was it which they got a hundred plus thousand dollars off of this claim very bad business

I discovered water dripping from one of the kitchen recessed can lights on a Sunday evening.  Early Monday morning I called my plumber and then HD Restoration...I am extremely grateful to HD for all that they have done to help with a stunning (to me) situation.  Jake came out right away and guided me through the steps in filing an insurance claim and he oversaw the entire project with Rodney; what a great team! While the plumber repaired the leak, Jake and Rodney made all the preparations for demolition & mitigation, answering my questions and keeping me updated while Bobby got to work with demo and prep for reconstruction; which he completed beautifully in an impressively timely, meticulous and professional manner. The ceiling repainting and replacement of the damaged can light was completed by Wyatt who was equally as professional & thorough. These are just the on-the-job site professionals!  Everyone whom I dealt with in the office via telephone was professional, personable, efficient and thorough.  Besides that, I was regularly updated as the project progressed.  My thanks to Britney, Shannon, and Bree.  I hope that I haven't left anyone out.  The finished project is beautiful; like the damage never occured.  I greatly appreciate a reputable company that takes pride in a job well-done and doing everything to make that happen in a timely manner; a focus on having the customer totally satisfied; as well as an open,  professional and respectful line of communication at all levels. I am thankful that HD Restoration was in my corner.  They made an unsettling situation easy to navigate...all I had to do was follow their lead.  In my book, they're the VERY best!

HD restoration was great when we had a leak in our roof that had to be rebuilt. They ended up coming right on time and completing the work properly (being timely is huge for me as schedule is tight with work). The only issue we had was their painter left a mess everywhere even with using a tarp. We had paint specks all over our door, tile and wall. They also dinged our cabinet door in the guest bathroom. However the owner did reach out and try to make it right through repairs and clean-up. I would recommend this restoration/rebuild company again, just make sure you keep and eye out on some of the work to double check.

The first time I hired them, they were fine but their sub kept showing up at my house without an appointment, calling and demanding I come home from work.  I decided it was the sub so I gave them another try. The second time, they set up the equipment, but did not show up to pick it up (after I stayed home to wait for them) and did not show up to do the restoration work. They only e-mailed me to tell me their employee was sick AFTER I e-mailed them about why they had not shown up 2 hours after the appointment.  I finally had to fire them, then they billed my insurance a ton for very little work. I was told by the contractor who finished the job that they hole they cut wasn't even straight, and it made it more difficult to fix.

My husband and I were faced with a water heater leakage incident earlier this year which called for immediate insurance intervention, water damage repair, carpet, tiling and other restoration services for our living area. HD Restoration company was assigned to our case by the insurance company and were, at every step of the process, there to answer our needs and stay a step ahead of the action over a protracted period of time. At every turn, HD Restoration was there to act as liaison between us and the various entities involved. In every instance, HD Restoration (and, in particular, their office manager) was always available to answer questions, and to act on our behalf. We have nothing but the highest praise for this young company and would gladly recommend HD Restoration to anyone in a similar situation.

Can't say enough.  This company was wonderful.  They worked with my insurance company in getting my claim approved for the water damage in my home.  They were professional, arrived on time, and cleaned up at the end of each day.  When the project was complete it was perfect!  You would never know there was ever any water damage.  Thank you Rodney and Jake, and your crew for doing a fantastic job.  I would recommend HD Restoration in a heartbeat!

My Project Manager Adam Eskina handled the  work start to finish, Adam is very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. When our water heater broke, HD Restoration crew took care of the flooded areas promptly.  Jake, Hugo, and Brittany were an absolute pleasure to work with.  They offer wonderful customer service; are very efficient; and are good people.  HD worked directly with my insurance company/agent and helped navigate through all the paperwork.  As you can imagine, this can be a stressful situation; but the awesome crew at HD helped me every step of the way.  Highly recommend this company and would definitely use them again.  Thank you again HD Restoration for understanding the importance of great customer service!!

HD Restoration is AWESOME!  The house my wife and I purchased has unfortunately had a few water leaks so I have had multiple contractors in and out of the house over the last two years.  HD Restoration is the first company I have been really impressed with.  They have been honest, on-time and looked to find ways to save me money.  Rodney is the owner and he has personally come out to my house to inspect when there was another potential water leak.  Jake and Hugo were great on the job.  Hugo actually caught a second leak which he could have covered up as it was not covered under insurance.  I would highly recommend them. The work they did at my house included a remodel of kitchen (replacing countertops, installing a vent hood, rebuilding kitchen cabinets, installing a new sink, drywall, painting, plumbing and electrical work).

HD restoration is highly recommended. After a very frustrating experience with another restoration company, HD came in and saved the day. We had been waiting for weeks with our home in disrepair from another company who Demo'd and left us with exposed ceilings and a torn up bathroom. HD was hired to come complete the job as our original company could not. Brittany is very professional and communicates well, keeping us in the loop with everything. After a delay from the insurance company HD went above and beyond and scheduled a weekend restoration just to help us out after our long and frustrating journey. The workers were very kind and considerate of our home, taking extra care to protect our belongings. The workmanship was phenomenal and I cannot tell that there was ever a flood! Brittany called to follow up afterward to ensure everything was up to standard and that we were satisfied. I wish we would have used them from the start. Professional, respectful, communicative, and quality workmanship! HIGHLY recommended

I've used HD once on a 4plex flood - - same day cleanup and they worked with my tenants and my insurance company to rebuild the bathroom + kitchen.  Rodney was great

I had developed a crack in my upstairs shower pan of my rental unit. Little did I know the water damage that it caused and was stressed about how this was going to get repaired as this was a custom tiled shower. I contacted HD Restoration and they were great! They explained what was going on below the tile and what damage it had caused. They worked directly with my insurance company and were able to fix this with little involvement on my end. They turned what I thought was going to be a major financial hardship into a painless repair. I would definitely recommend High and Dry!

If you are in need of a mold removal company HD restoration is the company to go with!!!  We were in contact with 4 different companies to get quotes regarding a mold issue in our master bathroom below the sink.  The three other companies made the problem seem MUCH worse then it really was and quoted us thousands of dollars.  Not to mention they said we might need to rip out our custom cabinets and new quartz countertops to fix the problem.  Houston with HD restoration came over, gave us a free estimate and put our mind at ease by saying it wasn't that bad and he should be able to remove all the mold by only cutting a hold the size of a piece of paper in the back of the cabinets.  We paid $700 and they removed all the mold successfully without having to damage our cabinets or countertop.  Thank you Houston & HD restoration for not trying to take advantage of your customers!

Hd restoration is a company that you can rely on!  They do great work and I would recommend them!
