We had the doctor come over and replace our kitchen sink, and install new countertops on the center island and the pony wall. They gave us a great deal on some granite they had left over in their yard. They were on time for the install, they were professional and clean, I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to do any type of countertop work !!!

Once in a while there is something you spend money on, that EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU LOOK AT IT, YOU SMILE...  that is how I feel about my Louis Vuitton Graceful handbag AND MY SINK FROM GRANITE DOCTOR. It makes me happy when I put the last dish into the dishwasher and spray and wipe down my GORGEOUS apron sink with stainless steel polish. I am not a crazy person but I LOVE MY SINK.

We had an old cast iron kitchen sink that needed replacing. After almost spending thousands of dollars re-doing all our granite countertops, I stumbled upon their ad.  So happy we went with these folks.

From my initial outreach through install - completely seamless.  Great communication, professional and on time.

They had to cut into the granite to get the sink out, and I was shocked that they left behind no mess.

I can't say enough nice things about the Granite Doctor AZ. Lionel was very responsive and the guys that came arrived on time and got the job done without a hitch.  I had the world's ugliest undermount black sink that came with my 1996 house. The guys carrier that nasty 80lb creature out of here and installed my gorgeous stainless sink with a sexy faucet that I can't stop looking at!  I bought all new appliances when I moved in a year ago and now the kitchen is perfect!!  Great job Granite Doc!!!!

Total waste of time! Extremely unprofessional! They CHARGE $50 for an estimate! They are PRICE GOUGER, they provide me with a quote 3X more than any other average quotes I've received for FREE.  In their price they included their running 10% discount but once I checked their website I noticed they were advertising 15% as a Holiday discount. I contacted the owner to ask him about it.  He had no idea at first what I was taking about so I had to send him a picture of his own website AND then he told me if I want that 15% discount I will have to wait until the holidays with my job to get it. What a JOKE !!!  One would wonder how they even stay in business with that type of attitude and lack of effort or any business 101 etiquette.

Well, I don't remember whether they told me on the phone they would charge a $50 estimate fee but I paid it when they came out. They were on time and took measurements and pictures. They did send out an estimate deducting the $50 but then said they were booked for two months. Should've told me they couldn't book me before I agreed for the estimate or visit. Live and learn. Ask if they can do it before paying an estimate fee.

Counters looked great after he left, however, upon inspection, I found 2 small chips in my almost new countertop that weren't there previously.  Please make sure you check all repair work meticulously before they leave.

Let me start by saying that you will not go wrong with Granite Doctor AZ!  Lionel and his crew know their stuff.

In Dec 2009, Stone City (a sister company) installed our kitchen granite and sink and in January, 2010 they did our bathroom counters and sink.  We were very happy with this experience.

Flash forward to January, 2020 and I noticed a crack in our bathroom vanity.  It was cracked enough that a slight leak was starting to occur.  Boy was I surprised when I called the number for Lionel in my phone.  Within days he came out and said that they could remove the sink and replace with little problem.  While he was at the house, I had him take a look at the kitchen sink (a Blanco SILGRANIT sink).  While it was beautiful at first install, after a few months, it was starting to chip and show extreme wear.  Now, 10 years later, it really looked bad.  Lionel mentioned that Blanco had added a lifetime warranty to their sinks and that ours may be covered.  He sent me the information and I contacted the company.

I contacted Blanco and after sending them pictures of the sink, I was told that they would check into things.  Minutes later I received an email from Blanco stating that my warranty was being processed!  Within about a week I had a new sink sitting at my front door......with no cost to me!!!  Lionel was spot on with this program.

I then placed a call back to Lionel and we arranged for an install.  On the day of install, his crew - Chris and Sam - arrived EARLY and were able to remove and replace both sinks in ABOUT 1 HOUR!!  Better yet, while I had warned by wife that this might be a messy process, the crew created very little mess and what they did create, they cleaned up completely.

I will definitely recommend Granite Doctor AZ (and Stone City) to ANY of my friends that are looking for Granite installs and/or repairs.  These guys are great and Lionel is fantastic to work with!!

Our old sink (15 years old since new build) literally became detached from underneath the granite countertop (It had been held on only with epoxy that dried out) and as a stop-gap, we used a 2x4 to keep it in place until calling the Granite Doctor.  We had decided against simply replacing the double sink, but the granite countertop had a bridge over the divide between the basins that would have to be removed to allow a single sink. We tried to work with the original granite countertop firm of the builder to see if they could do it, but they said that for liability reasons they wouldn't touch it.  We thought about just replacing the entire countertop, but didn't want to spend $5-10K to do that (and we like our existing granite which is in great shape).

We saw the advertisement for the Granite Doctor showing exactly what we were looking for. The Granite Doctor Team (Lionel, Chris and Sam) came to the rescue, and (in a little over a week later) in just a bit over two hours they finished cutting the granite in place... perfectly, and installed our new (larger overall) sink, which has really updated the whole kitchen.
They also polished out an unfinished rough spot elsewhere on the countertop at no extra charge for us too. We were very pleased with their professionalism and cleanliness throughout the whole process.  

Yes, they do charge a $50 fee to come out to see the issue (whether you use their services or not), but that eliminates non-serious folks. The $50 is credited if you do use their services anyway, so it is not a big deal if you need the work done like we did.

Maybe someone will promise to do it cheaper...I don't know, but I do know that the work done by the Granite Doctor was flawless and worth what I paid, particularly considering our alternatives that would have involved removal offsite (that might have damaged the countertop in the process) or full replacement of the countertop.

Working with Lionel was great. I had no trouble getting in touch with him for an appt and I had my granite cut and sink replaced within a week of when he came to give me my estimate. He did an amazing job at helping me assess my tiny kitchen situation and installing the new sink. I can highly recommend him if you're looking for a similar service. He does charge $50 to come see what he's working with and what needs to be done, but as a person in the service industry, this makes total sense to me. He drove all the way to my house, and has to make sure that his time and gas mileage isn't being wasted, plus it goes towards the cost of the service if you do choose to use his company. Definitely recommend

Once again Lionel and his crew saved the day. I had an under mount sink that had fallen out, and boy am i glad i didn't try to fix it myself. They took the time to ensure all the old install goop was cleared and cleaned before applying fresh coats of sealant and glue to get my sink back to dish duty again. By the time they were done it looked like a fresh install! A fair price and excellent work will keep me coming back for any repair needs i have in the future, do the same!

A few days ago Granite Doctor AZ replaced my old sink with a modern square sink. From the beginning to the end was a smooth and easy process. They came out and explained why certain sinks would work and why some would not work. I love that they explained every process and why it had to be done a certain way. The installers were also great and very professional! From the gentleman that gave me a quote to the installers, they answered all my questions and did an excellent job!! I will defiantly recommend them to friends and I will use them again for future projects!!

I have not used his service but he provided me with a quote and I had agreed to pay $50 for his visit regardless whether I use him or not. I really do not like to provide negative reviews, especially since I have not used his actual service. However, given I paid for his visit, I feel entitled to do so.  I also did 2 other quotes - his quote was twice the second and three times the cheapest. The more experienced and busiest service provider was actually the cheapest.

I am a new house homeowner hiring a ton a services (beyond countertops) and a couple of lessons learned have been:
1. If someone charges you for an estimate, look elsewhere.  They have to charge you for an estimate because very few people actually hire them and they need to pay for the gas, trip costs while they try to charge a multiple of what the job should actually cost. I have paid for estimates 3 times for different things because I was learning - I will not do it again.
2. If someone tries to pressure you or use scare tactics, run away.  Never never make a decision to hire someone for a job on the spot. Always give yourself a day minimum to digest the visit and think through.
3. Always get 3 quotes for a job.  If you really like the provider, then get at least one more quote to have a sanity check on the price.

I had a new kitchen sink installed by Granite Doctor. Lionel and team were very knowledgeable, professional, on-time, and did great work. I'd recommend to anyone looking for repair or a new sink!

Called this company numerous times. Very hard to get a reply...keep calling finally I get an appointment.  In fairness then I had to cancel as I had no one to meet him at my home but after waiting 3 weeks!!.  DON'T LET ANY CONTRACTOR IN TO REPAIR WHILE YOU ARE NOT HOME.  Seems logical but I know it happens.  Anyway, gave these guys 24 hrs notice for cancelation and asked for another appointment.  I get a text that says very busy can't take on any more work
What reputable company sends a stupid text like that?  Why be in business with an attitude like that?  I'd stay clear of these folks.  If they are too busy to see you they are too busy to do quality work.  There are plenty of other guys that do granite work in the valley.

I would like to add photos, of the most amazing job these men did ! They were outstanding. I had a split sink that was an under mount in expensive granite, I did not think it could be done, but they assured me it would be fine. They removed the bad sink, picked up a new one, cut the granite, and replaced it. It looks like it was always there! Since they were here, I asked about my dull granite, if they could do anything about that? They polished it and sealed it! What a wonderful surprise! I highly recommend them....LOL I had both of my neighbors stop by to see the job it was so good! They will be calling them. I heard about them at a plumbing store, a lady said, oh I have the granite dr coming out....I would of never know.

I found them in the local magazine mailed to homeowners.   The cost of the estimate was reasonable and deducted from the final expense.   Lionel explained every step and option thoroughly.   His crew came in and did an amazing job.   I am very pleased with the results and would recommend them.

Wow. I'm not sure how this guy stays in business. I have a piece of granite I need installed. So I called this company. What a joke. He starts asking me a bunch questions that a granite installer would know. FYI if I knew what you were asking I would install it myself. Very condescending. He then says it will be $500-$800 minimum. What does that mean. Is it $500 or $800. I would avoid this company like the plague.

I am extremely pleased with the granite repair services performed by Granite Doctor.  On the phone they were polite, professional and informative.  The technician was a real artist in the repair of our counter top which had cracked in three places.  The repair is invisible to the casual observer.  It appears that there are relatively few technicians with the skill to repair cracked countertops.  I highly recommend the Granite Doctor

I noticed a gap between my granite counter top and my under-mount cast iron sink and was concerned about it breaking loose and damaging the counter top above or the plumbing below. I called around to a couple different places and Lionel was the only one who was able to make it over the same day.  Everybody else had openings later on next week. He was onsite within an hour and had it fixed within 20 minutes. I'm glad I called and recommend his services.

I wish it was possible to give 0 stars. After calling them about an estimate, I was treated in the most disrespectful way I have yet experienced in my life. I asked if it was possible to replace a countertop with a slab of granite we had leftover from a previous job. We measured it and it seemed to be large enough to us, but we called to get an expert opinion. After explaining what we wanted, he only responded by laughing at me. I told him I was calling to find out if this was possible as I was not a granite expert. After a few other condescending comments he told me I'll gladly take all your money, but you'll be the laughing stock of the valley. From the looks of other reviews it seems he treats all of his customers like this, not sure how they even stay in business. I've never wrote a negative review but hoping I can save others from this experience.

I called Granite Doctor to ask about replacing an old under mount stainless steel sink that was ugly and way too small. I was ready to have it cut out and replaced with a top mount style, but Granite Doc talked me out of it.  He explained that it was possible to cut out the old sink and polish the edges of the granite so that I could instead use a better looking under mount sink.  Long story short - these guys did a great job for me.  In fact after the sink was installed we noticed a dent in it that we all had not seen.  They came back the next day with a replacement sink and replaced the first one!  Great service and I now have a sink that really updated our kitchen.

Great to work with!  They were able to come the same day when I discovered a new range wouldn't fit in my kitchen when it was delivered.  And it ended up like a custom fit. Perfect.  These guys are awesome!

I saw an add for the company in magazines and called. Owner came by and estimated the fee for  repairs I needed,as well as to seal and polish all granite countertops. One month later they finally came to do the work. Repairs we done very well. And I'm happy with results. However when it came to getting my counters sealed and polished. He would not do my master bathroom. Said it was not part of estimate. When it absolutely was agreed on. He charged me $800 for that part of the service alone. I expected to have all bathrooms done. As well as far as the polish itself.. He promised it would take care of haze and make granite shine like new. But I believe he sprayed on polish no different then any store bought. It had no long term shine. The haze is still there. Very disappointing..  Also he and employee were talking in foreign language the whole time made me uncomfortable..

After finding myself in a horrible situation with my kitchen sink, one phone call to Granite Doctor and my problem was solved.... SAME DAY! There's no question that Lionel knows his stuff, and offered suggestions and recommendations to fix my problem. It was clear that he cared deeply about my situation, and even called his guys from lunch to help. If you need service with your granite, there's no better company to call than Granite Doctor, and when many companies wouldn't even call me back, he went above and beyond the call of duty, without gouging me financially. Thank you, thank you, thank you Granite Doctor, you are an amazing example of how all companies should do business.

I wanted to see about getting my old stainless sink replaced with a new stainless farm sink so I called the Granite Doctor and a few days later he was out here to check things out. Very helpful on letting me know what sink would work best for the area and even told me where to order the sink which was an awesome site (Build.com) and great prices. I order the sink and it came in 2 days and then within a few days they came to install it for me. I got to keep my existing granite and have a new sink that I love. All three guys that installed the sink where very friendly and courtesy and on time. I know some people didn't like that idea of them charging the $50 but I had no problem with it because if you take your car into the dealership they charge a diagnosis fee as well and to me they were worth the money they charge. It's just like any other service you can always say they charge to much but do you want to take a risk and cut your granite and hope that it doesn't crack.
