If you are looking to have your grout or couch cleaned look no further! We had GCS out and they did an outstanding job. The communication, service and speed couldn't have been better. We would highly recommend them.

We hired them for carpet cleaning and we're pleased with the results! The guy who helped us was friendly, helpful, and easy to communicate with. That being said, I think the price was also reasonable!!

Our entire first floor is tile that looks like hardwood. Over the years, the texture of the tile has trapped a lot of dirt and grime. Mark came out and has the tile and grout lines looking like new. He was very responsive to messages and the estimate was the exact cost. We will definitely use him again!

The reason that they have 200+ 5 star ratings is that they go above and beyond.  I cannot say enough good things about Mark and GCS.  I found them on Yelp based on the reviews.  They were very responsive and the price was extremely reasonable.  

My Tiles  - I know the tiles had not been cleaned in over 12 years because it was my dad's condo and I never saw him professionally clean the tiles.  Mark spent 2 hours on his hands and knees scrubbing the tiles and grout without charging me any more than his original quote.  I felt really bad as he had given me a quote over the phone without even seeing how bad the tiles and grout were.  He refused to charge me more even for all the extra work.  I can only repay him by adding to his other outstanding reviews.  If you want it done right the first time, call Mark.  I promise you, that you will not be disappointed.  I wish there were more companies like GCS and Mark out there that valued their customers like he does.

GCS showed up early and on-time and went right to work like an army of busy beavers moving at top speed to get the job done. He was Professional, Civil, Congenial and Top Notch. Got just about three bedrooms complete in no time and then he was gone to the next opportunity.  Gave me good advice on cleaning cat stains along with being more vigilant on vacuuming the carpets more often due to the cats and dogs residing at the house.  I was very pleased with his service and the work performed.  The only very small thing I would add is that I would suggest a check list or verbal things we could do before he arrives. We had cleared the furniture and presumed he would pre vac before spot spraying it and I was mistaken. Had I known I would have pre-vacuumed before his arrival however he vac's and cleans while cleaning with his tool kit so as they say "it all gets done" by the end of the day. Great work! Will use again and RECOMMENT TO OTHERS! Thank you GSC!

I purchased a 13-year old home in Fountain Hills and the travertine floors were in good shape physically, but had years of embedded dirt and grime. I called GCS and spoke with Mark. He was very knowledgeable and provided me a range of options, but said that he would look at the floors and then do final measurements. When he arrive on-time, he looked at everything and quoted a much lower price than what we had both initially expected. He got to work and finished all of the floors (3,000+ sq ft) in a few hours. They look amazing now, and are truly "squeaky clean." I found Mark to be honest, hardworking, and an expert. I would hire him again and would highly recommend GCS. Outstanding work!!

We contacted Nara to originally clean the grout in our backsplash. On the phone he walked me through how to do this myself, but the issue was greater than what we could handle. He came to the house for service, tried a few tricks that he had, but unfortunately the grout was to stained to be cleaned.  For his time and effort, he did not charge me anything. What an amazing and honest gentleman.

We did have him come back the following week to clean and seal the grout on our floors. He did an amazing job, worked Efficiently and neatly. This is a business that I highly recommend.

Needed to clean floor tiles urgently since our furniture is arriving the next day. Called GCS at 11am. Mark was very polite and professional; I told him about the furniture situation but forgot to tell him I had 20 boxes that had to be moved. Mark showed up at 3pm with cleaned my tiles thoroughly. He refused to charge more for having to move the boxes. Mark is professional and more importantly, honorable. I couldn't be any happier with his work and will definitely give my future tile or carpet cleaning jobs to GCS.

Mark was super quick to respond, was priced right, and is a local business. Showed up early, set up quick and got to work. Great chat with him and gave me lots of tips and tricks on how to clean and maintain my tile and grout, even though he was here just to clean my carpets. Super nice guy, carpets look brand new! Look forward to having him back again next time the carpets are due for a deep clean!

I needed to have my tile and the carpet on my stairs cleaned. I decided to give GCS a try as they were a local vendor. The best service I have received in a LONG time and his quality of work is impressive. My tile hasn't looked this good since we put it in (the grout is actually gray again and not black) and the stairs carpet is actually clean. Great great service- honest and thorough! I had initially asked for my floors to be sealed but Mark showed me that my grout had sealant already and I didn't need it. He could have very well taken advantage and done a service I didn't need- but he didn't! I will always use GCS!

I was recently referred to Mark at GCS Tile & Grout Cleaning.  When I called to get an estimate he said he didn't come out to do estimates!  He asked me to take a photo of my tile and send it to him!  I told him I preferred him to come over to see it and give me an estimate!  I started to wonder about his professionalism!  I gave him the square footage that The Grout Doctor estimated and he gave me the price!  He then proceeded to ask me for the estimate that I got from The Grout Doctor, and I told him that I didn't want to give it, and he told me that he didn't want to do business with me!  Wow!  That told me everything I needed to know about him, and he's the owner!!!    It shoudn't matter what The Grout Doctor estimated the job to be.  I asked for HIS price!  Very Disapointed in his attitude!  He also told me that he isn't a member of the BBB!  DELETE!  The company that referred me had a 5* rating at the BBB as well as Yelp!

I contacted them for a quote to clean the air ducts in my home, and received a response in a few minutes. Unfortunately their tech for duct cleaning is out of country currently so they aren't able to service my house, but I appreciate such a fast response. That combined with all their other reviews I read before contacting tells me that I would trust them to do the job had they been available to.

Called Mark due to all the excellent reviews and he lived up to all of them! He was very responsive via phone and texting, and as someone who provides home services, I appreciated that he called me back when he had a break with his current customer versus disrupting their service. Mark is very honest, reliable and a hard worker.  Stuck to his quote even though I believe he should have charged more for the tile cleaning he did for us. He simply wouldn't take more even after repeated attempts. We will definitely be using again! Thank you Mark!

I have been in need of tile/grout and carpet cleaning and discovered GCS using Yelp.  Based on the many positive reviews, I requested a quote.  From the get go, Mark was very responsive, easy to work with, and communicate with.  He and his helper Ivan were very accommodating on the day of service.  What was supposed to be a two day service was done in one day with the help of both of them.  I am quite pleased with the quality of the job and the amount charged for the work, it was very reasonable.  I would highly recommend GCS for your tile/grout and carpet cleaning needs!  It was a very thorough and professional job.

Just moved into a new home and first order of business was to get the carpet professionally cleaned! After a quick search I found GCS and was amazed at the reviews so decided to give them a chance. I contacted Andrew via Yelp based off of his reviews. I needed a company to come out and clean our carpets. GCS quickly responsive and friendly. I had reached out and received a quote quickly but never responded to set something up. Once I called Andrew, I got a quote and a date quickly scheduled. I called to have our investment home with over 1000 sq ft of tile cleaned. The home is newly renovated and they were very responsive and very honest advising we don't need to have a deep clean for new flooring. He told me what I needed to do to get the haze off due to the grout and installation and sounded very easy. We're so appreciative of his advice and feedback instead of just taking me and charging me for the work and telling me how I can try to do it myself and save $500. I would highly recommend this company and will definitely come back when I need any other type of grout or carpet cleaning done.

Mark and his team at GCS are absolutely wonderful people. They were punctual, detail-oriented, hardworking and fair-priced. I asked them to help steam clean the carpeted area of our house before moving in with furniture, and I am super satisfied with his service. Despite the extreme summer heat and the fact that the house wasn't cooled down to reasonable working temperatures at the time of the work, his team completed the job to perfection. The carpet looked almost brand new after he was done, and he even advised me on how to maintain it for the future. On top of everything, he inspected the HVAC air ducts for guidance on whether it needed cleaning or not, and although he doesn't clean them himself, he was willing to provide references and contacts for that as well. I would highly recommend them for your carpet cleaning needs!

These guys do great work with grout cleaning.  I used them for appx 400 sq ft with pretty dirty grout.  90 minutes after they started, the grout looks like new.  Very happy with the results.  I highly recommend this company for grout cleaning.

I had used GCS Carpet Tile & Grout Cleaning a few years ago and wanted to use them again. They did not disappoint. My floors look beautiful and so deep cleaned that you could eat off of them! I've used Mark twice, he just finished my condo where the tenant before me said she had the carpet cleaned. I'll attach pics. Stairs, a hallway and 2 bedrooms took less than an hour to set up, clean,  tear down. I'll continue to use GCS forever.

Great Customer Service as it's name "GCS embedded!  I'm sure there are many companies out there can do good jobs, but to find someone is totally honest and genuine is different level of professionalism!  We just moved in this house and found the tilt floor had a thick layers of wax!  Our original plan was to replace all tiles, but we like the the chisel look of existing tiles.  We then found Mark via Yelp.  Mark didn't want to assume the wax can be removed so he cleaned a small area first to see if it's possible to flat pad to strip off the wax.   He didn't want us to waste money if it was not feasible!  Upon our further request about sealing the tile, Mark advised us not to spend the money and showed us how to clean as regular maintenance.  Since there were lots of candle waxed stains already got into some grouts, Mark came back again to double clean those grouts!  Consequently, we don't have to replace the tiled floor and save tens of thousand dollars because of Mark's great work!  We also had our A/C ducts and dryer vent cleaned as I'm very allergic to dust.   David, who is Mark's technician, was extremely polite and prepared me every step forward about the loudness of the industrial vacuum and the smell of microban.  As to the results, pictures speak a thousand words!

I picked GCS because of their ratings on YELP.  Mark And David did not disappoint.   Immediate response.  On time Excellent work on grout.  Have had the house 12 years and the tile and grout look as good as the day it was installed. My HVAC vents were cleaned and sanitized, David did a fantastic cleaning..  We had three standard couches cleaned ,  again they look as good as new.  Professional, 16 years of experience showed in the quality of the service.  Absolutely recommend and will call GCS in the future .

What an amazing owner, company, and service! I called Mark late on a Thursday afternoon asking how quickly he could come out, as we were getting ready to sell our house and he came out first thing Friday morning! Not only did he find time in his incredibly busy schedule at such late notice, but was truly a joy to talk to as he was working and did a GREAT job. I'm not gonna lie, our carpets were DIRTY before the job and after our carpets almost look brand new! He insisted that we take a look around the house to see if we needed any touch ups, but he had already don't such a amazing job - none were needed!! If you are in a pinch or just want to work with the best in the biz, look no further than GCS!

Also you can tell that Mark is an honest, hardworking, and humble owner. So happy to have used them.

This was the best carpet and grout cleaner I have ever hired.  They cleaned all my carpets and some grout after a remodel job where the painter got paint and drywall over my carpets, floors and fabric chairs and other furniture.  Mark got everything clean and looking like new. I will never use anyone else. Highly recommend.

Outstanding services! Prompt, fair, professional from start to finish.  Have clean, new equipment and take care of homes contents.  Offered solutions and exceeded expectations.  Check out the pictures.  Insane difference. Grout was black in-between the tiles and now is back to white!  Staff was spot on with furniture movement and even respectful of the family dog.  Just a great, great experience and the WOW! factor is we are back to a new house again!

They responded saying they don't do repairs... LMAO   this is a newly laid travertine clean and seal not a repair. Their site makes it look like this is their  business, pardon me...  Definitly will use someone else

I would highly recommend them. I was in a bind and needed someone ASAP. They were able to accommodate me and do a very good job. The builder said they cleaned the carpet twice but that was a lie. They pre treated my carpet and got the stains right out. Especially during covid, I felt like my carpet was now clean and ready for my kids to play on. They are very fair in pricing and careful with rubbing corners with their hoses. I appreciate the attention to detail.

I am disappointed with GCS.  After reading all the great reviews on Yelp, I  hired Mark to clean porcelain tile in two rooms and a hallway.  In the past, a carpet cleaner I hired to clean floors in a different house damaged my baseboards with his equipment.  Because the baseboards in my current home are new and freshly painted, I was concerned that they might be damaged during cleaning.  I spoke with Mark about my prior bad experience and my concern, and he confidently assured me that there would be no damage, citing his 15 years of experience.   I believed him.

I should not have.  He is equipment and cleaning process are very aggressive, and I now need to have someone repair my baseboards in several spots.  A few of them are pictured here.  He seemed to be in a rush.  I wish he had been more careful.

The gray marks on the baseboards were caused by a combination of the cleaning solution and contact with the cleaning equipment.  There was a surprisingly large volume of liquid splashing around during the cleaning process.  Some of it splashed onto the baseboards and stained them.  In person you can see horizontal lines from some kind of brush or agitator that came into contact with the baseboards.  I don't think a corner guard was used on at least one corner pictured.  If one were used, it was not enough to stop the solution from getting under it and taking the paint off.  

Unfortunately, we did not see the damage until we inspected the area after the floor was dry later that day, after we had paid.  

The good news is that the tile was definitely cleaner when he left.  Again, I just wish he had been more careful.

I used GCS for the first time today for carpet, tile and grout cleaning.  I chose Mark after reading his 5 star reviews on Yelp!  He did not disappoint.  

He answered the phone when I called and was able to accommodate getting the job done before I had new furniture delivered.  He showed up on-time with great communication ahead of time.  He has a great customer-focused personality and did a thorough cleaning.  

I am especially pleased with the result of the grout cleaning.  After 13 years of foot traffic and spills, I wasn't optimistic that it would look like it did when we moved in.  He set up a realistic expectation before I committed to the cleaning.  "Under promised and over delivered" is how I would describe the result!  

He recommended two cleaners - one for pet stains and one cleaning the tile.  Neither are brands that the average consumer would know about.

The price was outstanding compared to what other companies bid.  Finally, there wasn't any squeeze for more money by saying that that job was "underbid" nor was there loitering around waiting to be tipped.

GCS is first class all the way.  I have no hesitation in recommending his services.  I certainly will be calling him for the next cleaning.

Not only did he not charge any up charges, he helped move some of the furniture we could not, cleaned under couches, pre treated the carpet, and even though our tile is not the type he normally doesn't do, he went ahead and cleaned the grout, which is wide in our floors, and did an excellent job, and did an excellent job throughout the house, even in closets and bathroom, and explained ways to help keep it cleaner in the future, pointed out problem areas we might have, and took the time to make sure everything was done right and to our satisfaction. One of the best carpet cleaners we have ever had, and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend for any carpet or tile cleaning he does. Prices are extremely reasonable, and never no upcharges once he quotes a job, even though our house was slightly more footage than anticipated. Other places try to sell you everything and the kitchen sink, He does not.

Great Yelp find! We reached out to Mark and he didn't disappoint! He was able to get us scheduled in quickly to clean our carpets. When I spoke with him on the phone he gave me a lot of great tips on getting stains out as well! He is a very straight forward guy that won't up sell you either!! When it comes to the carpet cleaning, this guy knows his stuff! Not only did our carpets turn out great but he educated me on everything he was doing and using. The product he used left a great smell afterwards as well! Once he was finished he showed me everything that he was able to pull out of the carpets and I was shocked! Overall, if your looking for someone to clean your carpets and go above and beyond with customer service Mark is your guy! I will be using him from now on and telling everyone I know about his service!

They did a great job. I was able to schedule a carpet cleaning right away on a day and time that worked for me. They were on time and the tech was friendly and seemed knowledgable about the job. My carpets weren't visibly dirty so I didn't notice any major changes but they did need to be cleaned and it was done as quickly as possible with all areas covered.

Mark was recommended by our realtor. We called him and informed him about the square footage of the carpet that needed cleaning. He was quick and efficient. Scheduled an appointment and Mark showed up well before the appointment time to set up. He was done within the scheduled window and the carpet looked clean. He gave us shoe covers to walk around and make sure everything was up to our satisfaction. I will use him for the annual carpet cleaning.

Dave did an amazing job on the tile and grout in my new rental home.  He is concerned about giving you the best service and he delivers! Very responsive and honest. Did an excellent job with cleaning our ducts and dryer vent. We were looking into carpet cleaning and when we decided to rip it out he was understanding of that choice. Mark was also helpful for us in finding a cleaning solution to remove pet bacteria left in carpet/padding/concrete subfloor. We used it on the concrete after removing the carpet with his other suggestion, getting a blacklight ... worked like a charm. Excellent and knowledgeable. Give them a try!

We made an appointment and they pulled through 100%. We just bought our home and needed to get the carpets and the tile cleaned. The team showed up had a great attitude and got to work. No pushy up sells and honest work completed.

We got some recommendations for some after care products and we were off to the races. We will get them to come again in 2-3 years when we need another deep cleaning. After reading the reviews that had been posted about GCS, I decided to see if they were true. Guess what?...they are totally true!!! I was Mark's first job last Thursday and I was completely amazed by how great my carpets looked when he was finished...they looked better than new. The entire job was completed in about an hour and Mark never slowed down until everything was done. Mark (the Owner) came out for my upstairs carpet on short notice and did an ABSOLUTELY perfect job.

I am FINALLY in the stretch run of completing repairs and renovations on my house to sell and finally escape back to Southern California.

Due to the size of my house I was looking at over 5k for carpet alone to recarpet the entire house but someone recomended that I only recarpet the lower level of the house and clean the upstairs carpet.

Not expecting a miracle I went ahead and contacted GCS and Mark told me up front to not expect a miracle but he would try his best with a few of the heavily trafficed areas. (Also Mark was able to fit me in on short notice..less than 48 hours as well)

Mark not only got the entire second floor carpet looking like new but also did a very good job on the dirty high traffic areas in 2 of the rooms.

Marks excellent work saved me 2k in not having to re-carpet the 2nd level of my home and I really appreciate his honest feedback and work.

I would high recommend GCS and be sure to spend a couple of minutes talking with Mark if you get a chance as he is highly intelligent and is a wealth of knowledge in terms of business processes, inventory control, business profitability etc

I am so very happy with this company!  They are reasonably priced, didn't try to up-sell me on unnecessary services, and had no hidden fees or costs.  They were prompt, friendly, and did a great job.  They even offered to show me all of the junk that came out of my carpets and vent (kind of adds a sense of accomplishment, ya know).  I will definitely use their services again and will be recommending them to anyone who needs their carpets cleaned.  Way to go GCS!

We moved into our new home and immediately knew we needed to get all the flooring and air ducts cleaned. GCS was great!  All carpet is fresh and clean. Our air ducts also cleaned from new build debris/dust. Partial effort at best.

The good.....was responsive, decent price, and showed up on time
The bad......partial effort at best. I found many areas (corners that were not cleaned at all). I know because the areas were dry and there was dirt in the carpet. He was only at my home for an hour to clean 6 areas of carpet.

Update....
I received a call from Mark (owner) who returned to my home and cleaned and corrected the areas of carpet that were troubling me. He explained appropriate expectations and ask that I ever call if not satisfied. His main goal is customer satisfaction which is much appreciated!!!!

Mark is honest and efficient and I will happily use him for my next cleaning. He said getting my  grout sealed wasn't necessary but he'd happily do the work if I chose.

I told him my whole house was 1452 square feet and that I'd need half of it cleaned. I assumed it would be about 750 square feet as the whole first floor is tiled and I have 2 small bathrooms upstairs. He measured and came up with about 525 square feet and did not measure areas he did not clean, like the space kitchen cabinets and my laundry room take up.

Talk about INTEGRITY!!! Just got off the phone with the owner to discuss having our new home's grout sealed. And after a consultation he told me I'd be better off having a regular professional cleaning every couple of years rather than spending my money on the upfront sealing. He even told me what not to use on my floors for regular cleaning and what to use.

I hired Mark at GCS based on the recommendations on Yelp and I was not disappointed. He was fantastic. He was prompt, very fairly priced, very honest, and his work was outstanding. My carpet hasn't looked this good for a long time. I purchased a Living Social offer for $30.00 carpet cleaning of 3 areas.  I am extremely happy with GCS Carpets.  When I called to schedule the appointment, Mark informed me that I had purchased a basic cleaning, and that there could be additional expenses for stains, etc, and I expected this.  I mean really, $30.00 for 3 rooms?  I don't know if $30.00 even covers the cost of his gas and supplies!  I paid for additional cleaning services (I have pets!), and these were reasonably priced.

I have NEVER had a carpet cleaning as thorough as this!  Mark sprayed, raked, steamed, sprayed, and raked again!  He made sure I looked at the carpet, and that it was cleaned to my satisfaction. He was very thorough, and his prices are reasonable.  I WILL be calling him again when my carpets need to be cleaned!  Thank you, Mark!

Called who I assume is the owner about their $39 groupon special. He quickly informed me that the carpets wouldn't be fully cleaned this way and this is basically a wasted service. The only way the carpets would be fully cleaned is with an additional $0.25/sq ft pre-conditioning treatment.

Why are you offering a half of a service, then trying to pull a bait and switch?

(My female) well I just had a newborn on 8/30 and knew the carpets needed to be treated ASAP! So I called, he answered and we scheduled our appointment. He was punctual which I appreciate! He is very friendly and super quick and efficient!! He finished our 2 rooms and offered me and my father in law to see what he pulled from the room. I was shocked and disgusted but I'm happy he showed us! The rooms do not smell at all!! He uses all organics and no chemicals so it is safe for the whole family, yes even our newborn and our pets!! GCS is a great company!  Dave showed up and got right to work.  He was very respectful of my home and worked very efficiently, you don't see his kind of work ethic anymore.  We have light carpet and as it dried I didn't feel it was as clean as it could be(I realize light carpet is going to be difficult to get back into shape).  So I called the company and spoke with the owner Mark.  He was great as well!  We spoke about the issues and he said he would be out the very next day.  He arrived on time and worked on the areas of concern for us and we were pleased with the results.  Most companies might have just taken their money and not cared about coming back out but not GCS!  They have tremendous customer service and I will call them the again the next time we need carpet or tile cleaning.  Thanks Mark and Dave!

Another overly satisfied customer here.

I was in a pinch and needed quality service and fast. I called a few other places and even the one that is all about the hype these days with no luck in meeting my needs.

After calling these guys and speaking to Mark,  It took me just a few seconds to realize that I had found the right company.

They were able to get me onto their schedule, showed up at the actual appointment time  and left me with results that were better than expected. It is nice to see someone that cares about what they do as well as being a  is hard worker and cost effective. I saved $$$ but going here and am glad that I did.
I would definitely use and definitely recomend these guys again.

DRYER VENT CLEANING IS ALSO ONE OF GCS'S SERVICES!

Mark happened to be at my neighbor's house this morning, cleaning their carpets & tile, which by the way, they were VERY PLEASED with the outcome. I happened to get his attention while he was outside at his truck and asked him if he also does dryer vent cleaning. His answer was yes and he offered to do it when he was done next door.  He was fast & efficient... Good thing I had this done, as the vent goes out my roof (not the side of the house) and I've never had it done since the house was built six years ago.. My vent is free-flowing now and 'fire' is no longer lingering in the back of my mind. Not only does Mark do quality work quickly & efficiently, he is also very professional, yet nice & outgoing... and his prices are great! Most places I've seen advertised are charging $75 - $79. I was charged $59.

Mark came a little earlier than scheduled, which was a nice surprise. He looked over the job, and addressed our concerns very well. Word of advice - get out of his way once he starts. He's a very hard worker, and moves pretty quick. He did three rooms in our house, and they looked beautiful. Carpet cleaning solution had a very pleasant and mild smell. Mark was prompt and very professional.  He explained the process he was going to use to clean the tile and carpet.  He was careful about keeping everything clean and afterwards helped dry the tile so that I could walk around easily in the house without getting it dirty or tracking the water around.  Would highly recommend!

I called Mark on a Monday and he called right back once he finished a job he was working on. Made an appointment for the same week and he showed up exactly on time and gave me the best quote versus other tile cleaners. He started work after making sure the floor was ready to clean. His work was efficient and my tile looked amazing when he was finished. When the bill came, I wrote the check higher than the bill in error. He caught it and came back and gave me the difference back in cash. I would recommend Mark for his business sense, his quality of work, and his integrity.

After my tenants of 2 years moved out, I needed to have the tile and grout cleaned at my rental property within a short window of time to correspond with other repairs.  GCS promptly responded to my request for a quote and was able to do the cleaning service within one week of reaching out to them, which I greatly appreciated!
GCS was completely transparent about the cost of their services when I spoke to them over the phone- and no additional fees or hidden charges were incurred beyond this when they came to the property to measure and do the work.
Mark showed up on time for our scheduled appointment (15 minutes early actually), and he was very professional, knowledgable, honest and overall a very friendly, hard-working guy.
My floors are roughly 10 years old and consist of a light brown tile with tan grout and now look fantastic- like brand new! I had some paint splatters on the floor that Mark was able to get out and overall I am extremely happy with the work and my experience with the company from start to finish.
GCS was the most affordable for tile and grout cleaning that I came across- so give the price, quality, and outstanding customer service I received, I would highly recommend and will definitely use them again!

We were moving into our home (that previously had cats) just a few days before thanksgiving last year (sorry Mark! Thought I had left a review!) I had tried to schedule so last minute so I wasn't able to do carpets with him before move in, however, he was able to squeeze us in right after our move in. Due to the busy schedule and due to the holiday, he called to see if it would be okay if he had an associate come. That was fine and His helper was wonderful! He was so efficient and got all our duct systems taken care of. They had never been cleaned so I was very thankful for cleaning. I initially sent an email inquiry in the evening, which was answered within an hour. I called the next day to set up an appointment and to my surprise Mark was able to come out the same day and complete the work.  The same day! Now that's amazing. The carpets are nice and clean now and the customer service was spectacular.  Mark was very friendly, helpful and made sure I was happy with the job before leaving.  I had previously used another company, about 5 months prior...you know the one with the magic water. Well, they did a horrible job.  Mark's work was much better and he at no time implied that I needed to replace my 3 year old carpet, like someone from the magic water company told me. Mark (the owner) is the man! We had GCS come and clean our carpets in November of 2014. By mid December we were noticing horrible looking stains and spots in the entry to all rooms. I called GCS and told them about this. Without hesitation Mark came and re-treated all of those areas. Come to find out it was from the company that had previously cleaned my carpets, not going to mention who that was (Chem Dry). Returned calls promptly, arrived on time and within ~24 hours of my first call. Very clear estimate and explanation; price was right.

For a home that is almost entirely tiled, the disruption was minimal. Mark was very polite and professional, put up with our incessantly barking dogs.

Work was fast and effective on light very textured tile & light grout that have been in place, unsealed, and never professionally cleaned, since 2000 (I just looked up the actual receipt from the flooring contractor.) Highly recommend.

We moved into a new house and had a tight schedule for cleaning our couches and then cleaning our new tile in the new house. Mark had his tech come out in the morning and clean our furniture and then he came out later in the day when we got our keys to the new house and cleaned the tile. I asked about sealing the grout and he gave me a quote but said I could also do it myself for half the price. He then gave me all the information on where to buy the sealant and how to apply. Wow thus guy is great! I called around to find anyone who could do my carpet same day. Mark answered his phone and was so pleasant and able. He got to my house at 4:00 on time. Best carpet cleaning of my life!

Very thorough and doesn't try any upsell at all.  He pre-treats what needs to be pre-treated, rakes it into the carpet, then pre-treats again on top before extracting.  

I have had several less than positive experiences with carpet cleaners over the years.  Mark arrived 5 minutes early and was ready to go to work.  He explained the process and got stains out from my traffic areas that no other companies had been able to do before.  He also answered all of my questions about keeping the carpet clean, and why the previous cleanings caused more harm than good.  GCS will be my carpet cleaner for life.  Five stars.

I bought the Living Social deal for a basic steam clean.  Made an appt. for between 10-11am.  He showed up 25 minutes early without calling which I thought was unprofessional.  I told him my husband would be showing up shortly after 10 which was when our appointment was scheduled.  He came in and began the "basic steam clean" he seemed to be in a hurry. Not sure if that is because I told him my husband would be arriving soon.   I told him our carpet was fairly new and that we don't have any stains and pet is kept outside.  He explained that we should probably do a deep cleaning soon.  About 25 minutes later he said he was done. Really?! 3 bedrooms only took him 25 minutes to clean......hmmm.  Then he hands me an invoice for $2.70 for I guess tax, no biggie. I gave him a check and looked in each bedroom, they looked ok.  But I walked on them and they were almost dry!  Meanwhile my husband showed up as he was pulling away.  I came in, investigated and blew up.  Horrible job!!! I guess what you pay for!! Hubby went to home depot and rented a steam cleaner and did it himself.  Im sure he was in a rush to get in and out before my hubby came home so my husband wouldn't ask him to do it again.  His ad says he is a member of BBB, not true he said.  DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! Complete waste of time and money!

I had an appointment setup for 9am, didn't hear from the technician until 930.  Technician stated that they were about 15 minutes out from arrival.  At 10:15, my husband who was home waiting for them to arrive, called the technician asking where they were and why they had not arrived yet.  They finally showed up at 10:30, with no apologies for being late (not when they arrived or after they completed the job).  They also upcharged us for additional square footage beyond what the Groupon included, which I am totally fine with, but did not offer any kind of discount due to being late.  My husband said that the technician did not seem even somewhat professional or care about the job. This has always been my biggest hesitation in purchasing service related Groupons, as you don't know what you will get until they show up.  I wish I hadn't spent this money with GCS Carpet.  They also never answer their business phone, you have to wait hours to hear back from someone.

I have been contacted and we are working towards a resolution for the issues that have been mentioned.

I generally do not write yelp reviews. The exception is when I come across a company which provides extraordinary service and therefore needs to be recognized for it. As the consumer, I expect a carpet cleaning business to arrive on time, be courteous, communicate clearly, leave my carpets looking near-new, and charge reasonable rates. Mark, with GCS Carpet Cleaning is excelling in all these categories. A few years ago I used another company whose hourly-wage-employees were being worked like dogs and had little incentive to provide exceptional customer service or pride in their work. As a sole proprietor, Mark's reputation and livelihood ride on his service, and it shows. Enough said. I will certainly be calling him again.

Mark was great and did an excellent job cleaning my carpets. Making an appointment was very easy and he got back to me right away. He was on-time and cleaned 4 rooms of carpet in about an hour. I paid extra for the enzyme treatment in 2 rooms and when I still thought I could smell some pet odor, he came back and re-sprayed the rooms for me, without any hassle. I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again.

I love Mark!  He put in some serious work to turn my floors, showers and countertops into a thing of beauty.  We recently moved into a new home - the floors & showers are all stone tile, and hadn't been taken care of in years.  After sweeping, mopping, scrubbing (even tried vacuuming), I still couldn't get the dirt and grime off.  I called GCS, and the service was tremendous from quote to completion.  Mark worked so hard on our home that he was dripping in sweat throughout the cleaning process.  The results are amazing.  My family and I can walk across the floors without having the bottoms of our feet turn black.  They feel smooth, not gritty. Mark gave me pointers on how to keep the tile clean and where to buy the best product for our floors.  Even offered to pick some up for us if we couldn't find it.  I could keep raving, but really all you need to know is that from my perspective, Mark is knowledgeable, his service is fairly-priced, he's timely, hard working and caring.

Mark arrived early to my appointment and was extremely friendly. He explained the services I needed but with no pushy upselling tactics. When I returned to inspect the carpets he got out ALL the stains. I was very impressed with the customer service and work performed. Thanks Mark.

Mark came out today and cleaned our carpets very well. He is extremely professional, arrived a few minutes early, and gave us an honest estimate up front with all treatments and services explained. We used a Groupon for the basic cleaning and upgraded to get a more thorough cleaning and to treat for dog urine. We foster rescue dogs and  have a lot of traffic and accidents. Mark did a wonderful job, he was extremely friendly, fast, and did a great job. Those who are upset about the Groupon or other deals need to be sure they read the fine print as the carpet cleaning on them is basic. The small difference you pay for the thorough cleaning is worth it if you need it, but if you just need a basic cleaning it's a great deal! We'll be using his services again in the future and will recommend him to others in the area!

Bought a Living Social deal and Mark went over everything with me ahead of time on the phone so there would be no surprises about any missed fine print, etc. He stuck me as fair, honest, and eager to help me get the most bang for my buck. He was more than prompt on appointment day - called me ahead of schedule to see if I was available and headed over. He spruced up floor tile in the laundry room and three bathrooms and cleaned two area rugs, one of which contained LOTS of evidence of foot (people feet + paws) traffic and a couple of spills. Gave us tips on DIY cleaning and stain treatment to keep things as spiffy as possible until we have him out again - and we will have him out again. When I said "See you in a year?", he said, "you're good for closer to two years". And my grand total including the Living Social was $155, the total I was quoted over the phone by others (before I purchased the Living Social deal and spoke to Mark) for just ONE area rug... So... 4 rooms with tile flooring + two area rugs (a 5x7 and an 8x10) + solid DIY tips for maintenance + promptness + courteousness + spotless cleanup job = VERY happy and definitely repeat customer! Thank you, Mark!

Let's just open with Mark is the best!! So, this is a long story, but it really shows you the heart and soul of an honest, compassionate and hard working man and business owner.  So, we came to move my daughter into her new rented condo on Monday, August 15th. When we arrived the house was very dirty, to the point we couldn't move her in (cat stains on the carpet, etc..). Along with the dirt the air conditioning was not working.  I had one day to help her because I live out of state and was on a flight at 6 am the next morning.  I saw Mark cleaning another condo in the complex and begged him to come and please clean our carpets.  He said he was booked for the day, but would stop by to give us a price and when he might be able to fit us in. Mark came over as he promised and gave us a fair quote for carpet.  He could see the predicament that we were in and offered to work late that day to help us out. He scheduled us for an after 5 PM carpet cleaning. And we were thankful to have that time but luck was on our side and Mark had a cancellation in the middle of the day and was able to come early to clean our carpets. Unfortunately for Mark the air conditioning had just started to work and it was not the best working conditions for carpet cleaning, but Mark was professional and did a beautiful job on our carpets and never complained. I will use him again and I would recommend him to everyone I know!

GCS was great. I had a very good experience. He was very polite & was in and out in less than 45 minutes...... And my carpets looked new again by the time he was done. I highly recommend GCS!!

The friendliest service I've had from anybody I've hired. He was not only on time, but early. I found him on groupon and he was upfront when I booked my appointment with the extra charge for extra dirty grout which I expected since it had been 7 years since we moved in. I would recommend him to all my friends. My grout looks amazing again!

GCS is what customer service should be. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a carpet cleaner. Mark is fast and reliable and he does a great job. And on top of that, one of the nicest and most straight forward people you'll ever do business with. Mark has vouchers on Groupon and Amazon local quite often but do him a favor and call him directly for a quote. Odds are he will offer you the same great rate that you'd get buying from those places, and he won't have to give 50% of it off the top. Good businessmen like him deserve all the profit.

Gcs was quick to respond when I contacted them to set up an appointment. They arrived on time and did a fair job. My only issue with them was that before I contacted them I visited the website to be sure that they serviced my area. According to the site, they did. Therefore I proceeded with purchasing a Groupon for the service. However, when I contacted them they said that they would charge me extra for travel. I was already locked in and couldn't return the voucher so I was stuck paying the extra. I wish the website had indicated that there were additional fees based on location.

Two thumbs up for GCS Carpet Cleaning. Fantastic customer service and amazing results from the carpet cleaning. They are friendly, prompt, and went above and beyond what the voucher provided. Appointment was set up quickly, they called twice the morning of  to keep me updated on exactly when they would arrive, and showed up on time. Our technician was professional and super friendly. The carpet cleaning itself was unbelievable. Due to the fact that our carpet is old and we are still housebreaking a pup we declined any extras to our service, as we are going to replace it in the near future. Out of concern for the level of service they are able to provide GCS treated our problem areas for no additional cost. The results were an unexpected surprise. Our carpet looks fantastic! We will definitely be using them again for all future carpet cleaning.

There are not enough words to describe how wonderful it was to deal with Mark at GCS. We had another company out to clean our carpets after a remodel and they made the carpets worse than before. We looked at the GCS Yelp reviews and asked Mark to come out quickly so we wouldn't have to move all the furniture back in and out again. He fit us into his schedule within one day and we are so grateful he did. He called to say he was on his way and showed up exactly on time as promised. He not only explained what he saw as the issues with the other provider's work, but took the time to call him so that he had a full understanding of what was previously done. He then set our expectations as to how the carpets would look when he was done and delivered a quality job. Fast, professional, conscientious, caring, polite, meticulous only begins to tell the story.  I look forward to passing his name on with every opportunity.
