E & S Painting

I chose E&S because Eduardo was very professional when he came for my estimate in addition to being quick to schedule and he arrived when promised.  He was great to work with for scheduling since we were coordinating new carpet installation after the painting.  Despite an apparent miscommunication about when the project should begin, he made it happen when I was expecting them.  His written estimate arrived promptly and was right on target.  The painters who did the work didn't dissapoint.  One man moved our heavy furniture (very impressive) and did the prep, and painting followed.  It was a large room and extended into our kitchen and laundry room and they completed it all in a little over a day.  I hope the painters continue working on their English; we didn't have any issues but it was challenging to communicate. We were very impressed and I highly recommend E & S Painting.

E&S Painting, Simon Sandoval painted the interior of our home, ceilings, doors and all walls. We were very impressed how quickly they were able to complete the job and do a perfect job.  They took pains to protect all of our belongings.  2 years ago they painted our cabinets and also did a wonderful job.  I would highly recommend them.

Late last year, my husband and I decided that 2022 would be the year we would finally get the exterior of our house painted.  We had been planning to do it ourselves for a long time.  But, as everybody knows....
Ladders + Old People = Bad Idea.

After searching the reviews on several sites including Yelp, and getting estimates from four different companies (two well-known large ones and two smaller ones), we still didn't feel as though we had found The One.  I did another search and came up with a few more options, including E & S Painting.  They had really good reviews, so we decided to give them a call.

Eduardo (the E in E & S) came over and spent a good deal of time looking around to assess what needed to be done to paint the exterior of our 2,000 square foot home with really high walls on the north and south side.

He was a very personable guy, easy to talk to.  I liked him right away.
His estimate fell in the middle of the 5 estimates we got -- not the cheapest, not the most expensive. We really liked that he was a licensed contractor, and also that he didn't require any money up front -- only after the job was done to our satisfaction.

So we decided to go with E & S Painting, and they did not disappoint!

From the cheerful young lady, Marianna, who answered the company's phone, to that first pre-estimate appointment with Eduardo, to the thorough power washing of our home's exterior by Santos, to the excellent paint job by Carlos and Luis -- we felt that we had made a good choice.

There were several delays getting started, due to a lot of unpredictable strong winds this spring, and also our huge palo verde in the front yard that was at one point covered with millions of yellow blossoms.  They didn't want to paint and then, before the paint had a chance to dry, have a gust of wind turn our house into a giant yellow piñata! So we had to wait till the blossoms all fell off.

Sometime between the time of the estimate and when the painting was started, a dove's nest containing two small eggs had appeared on a ledge near the top of one of our entryway columns.  We really liked how these guys respected that nest.  They took it in stride, with Carlos going the extra mile to fashion a little tent out of paper and masking tape to put over it.  He watched the momma bird and as soon as she left the nest at one point, he popped the tent over the nest, did the painting, and took the tent back off.  I was very pleased to see that she actually came back and sat on the nest again with no problem!

As animal lovers, the extra TLC they gave that momma bird, nest and eggs got a lot of points with us.  They also didn't mind our obnoxious dogs, which was a plus!

All the guys were professional, courteous, and hard-working.  No goofing around.  Masked everything off that wasn't supposed to get paint on it and cleaned up after themselves really well too.  When the job was done, Eduardo came by and did a lengthy walk-around, listening to any concerns (small touchups are inevitable on a big paint job like ours), and sent Carlos and Luis back over to take care of them.  No excuses.  Just cheerfully fixed everything to our satisfaction.  I know that these guys would bend over backwards to ensure that a customer is happy with their work.

We will definitely call them again should we have a need for painting, and would encourage anyone who wants a painting job well done by a bunch of great guys to call E & S Painting without hesitation!

Their bid/estimate was very professional and detailed leaving no unanswered questions and their price was very competitive. My two bedroom ceilings had ugly, dirty popcorn ceilings. Edgar and Manny did a clean, beautiful job. Do yourself a favor and call them DIRECTLY instead of paying more to one of the bigger companies just to have them subcontract to these guys! They were very respectful with the mask request posted on my doorbell.

We have worked with them for a long  time and the customer service is great.  They  are timely and do a wonderful job.  Extremely efficient and courteous.

These guys are awesome!  After taking a friends recommendation to paint the outside of our house we didn't hesitate to have them do the inside as well. Even though it is extremely disruptive to do the inside they did everything they could to minimize the chaos. Everything was well protected and their attention to detail was outstanding!  They had to move an 800lb antique player piano and did so without complaint. We are extremely happy with our color selection with their assistance. Eduardo and his team are true professionals and not only would we use them again we have also recommended them to several friends...

We just had E&S come out and paint the exterior of our house. They repaired multiple issues with the stucco and we had them replace the garage seal. Eduardo explained the process in detail and what to expect. The crew did a great job. We are very happy with the outcome and would recommend them to anyone.

I honestly cannot believe this is the same house!! Thanks to Simon and his crew of guys that did the work at my house. I recently bought a place that needed a little updating. They removed popcorn ceiling in about 1400 square feet of space, resurfaced the ceiling, and painted all the walls, doors, trim etc throughout. They even painted all the cabinets white. I'd recommend them to anyone in the area. They taped and used plastic to protect the walls and floors, left clean lines, and picked up afterwards. Great job, pics below

This is one of those times when Yelp needs six stars. E&S painted the interior of my entire house in about 3.5 days, exactly as quoted! The team that Eduardo selected for the job were INCREDIBLE! Carlos was an especially wonderful manager of the team. The team is efficient with their processes, thorough with the preparation, painting, and cleaning afterwords. I mean, honestly, it was like magic. Price-wise, E&S was one of three quotes I attained and was in the middle of the three. Eduardo, who provided the quote after surveying my house, was the most meticulous in accounting for all of the variables to ensure his team produced the highest quality outcome. I had E & S Painting come to my house for an estimate for the exterior. I've used their services before to paint the ceilings in my house, so I thought I'd try them again. I was very pleased the first time I used them and I was so pleased with the work they did on the outside. Simon and Eddie, (owners), were so accommodating and a dream to work with. They arrived on time and cleaned up after every day. They did a fantastic job-I wouldn't use any other company. I've recommended them to a few people already.

E&S painted the interior and exterior of my duplex, and did a great job.  I received several quotes and, although E&S was not the lowest, Eduardo's (owner) quote made the most sense.  For example, others quoted the same amount for the interior and exterior, and the exterior of that duplex requires much less prep work.  Also, he offered to work during weekends because I wanted to get the duplex rent-ready soon, and painting is one of the biggest and most important task to do first.  

Eduardo was very professional and started the job when he said he would, and actually completed early.  He was very patient with issues we encountered because I am an out-of-state investor and my property manager was not responsive that time.  He emailed before and after pictures, so I can see the newly painted duplex.  I also visited the job site last week and everyone who saw it appreciated how well it was painted.

We painted the interior of our house and we have very tall ceilings. Everyone that we worked with was very nice, knowledgeable and professional. The quote was fair, the materials were quality and the workers did a good job covering up the furniture and floors. The job turned out very nice and we would definitely use them again in the future.

I highly recommend E & S Painting.  They painted the exterior of my house in mid December 2020 and they did an excellent job.  Their power washing and prep work was more than I expected.   I didn't have to pay them until I did a walk through and was satisfied with everything.  Even after that, I did find one little area that needed a little work and they showed up the next day to compete that small task.  They went above and beyond and took pride in their quality of work.  Eduardo (the E in the E &S company name) was great to work with.

I could not recommend E&S more- they helped us choose amazing interior colors, worked quickly and clean and finished the job within budget a week ahead of the original planned time. Eduardo and his brother were both professional and prompt in all of their communication. I will hire them again in the future for any painting job we have. I had other companies to our house to quote the job (we painted the entire interior of our house) and Eduardo stood out because he took the time to actually get to know us and was very helpful. I hired this company to paint the exterior of my dads house.  The house was in desperate need of some tlc and I was so pleasantly surprised by how great Eduardo was during the consultation and estimate.  He was thorough and very honest about what he could and couldn't do.   After they started the work they realized that there was a lot more work than they had expected.   They completed the work without complaining or adding on extra costs, just doing a great job and fulfilling the promise of what they said they would do (and more).  This company has integrity and I have referred them to anyone needing a painter and will continue to do so any time I have the chance.  Too often people will nickel and dine the consumer.  I commend this company for the way they do business!

The price was the best among the other, and half the price from a company that advertises in the area.  I was surprised the Painting Cree was 1 guy, but he had the experience and pride in the job instead of a crew of college dropouts

E&S did a fabulous job of painting the exterior of our home last year. They also patched up the adjacent wall and sealed the cracks in our frontdoor. They are professional and conscientious. It was very hot last summer and they worked each day. I highly recommend them.

Words simply cannot express how pleased I was with Mr. Sandavol and his painting team. I was extremely impressed by the quality of service he provided!!!

He actually communicated with me ON the holiday, when no other contractor responded. His pricing was very fair. He made paint recommendations I had not even considered, and he was extraordinarily personable and professional.

I was on a very tight completion timeframe for the painting job. He not only met that timeframe, he finished a day ahead of schedule!!!

His team of workers were also amazing. They were so hard working, kind, considerate, and helpful.  They cleaned up EVERY DAY before they left, and they never once got annoyed when I poked my head into a room to admire the expert job they were doing.

When the job was almost finished I had forgotten to get new hardware for the kitchen cabinets. I panicked because I did not have the tools or know how to install the cabinet hardware. When I told Mr. Sandavol about the dilemma, he authorized his staff to wait at the home until I could go and buy everything, and then he came over himself and helped install it.

His understanding and willingness to help was amazing.

The job he and his team did completely transformed the living space of my 80 year old aunt, whose house had not been painted in over 20 years. She said the painting lifted her spirits and renewed her passion for living again.

You just never know how rejuvenating a person's surroundings can affect them. Mr. Sandavol and his team were SUCH a blessing for me. They made my Aunt smile and be happy again.

I could not have found a better painting service if I tried! If you pick this painter you will have selected the very best.

UPDATE:
After the paint job described above was complete we had all of the flooring replaced. While moving the furniture the flooring people REALLY butchered the trim in almost every room. I tried to fix it with the leftover paint. Needless to say, I AM NOT a painter. It was a catastrophe! I called Mr. Sandavol to see if he could send one of his painters to help. It had been raining, and he was trying to catch up on scheduled jobs, but in spite of the inconvenience he came through. Not only did he have a gentleman come do the repairs, he came along too to lend a hand. In this day and age nobody makes time to help you out like that. Him coming through for us was extraordinary! I had flown to Arizona from Maryland and I was on a very tight timeframe. So I can't say enough positive stuff about Mr. Sandavol. He was a Godsend!

I have used E&S Painting many times over the last three years.  They have put up dry wall,  repaired stucco on the outside of my home, and painted the outside.  They have textured and painted the inside.  I can only say I have never encountered a better company.  They give excellent service, they do great work and they clean up everyday when they leave.  Simon is just a sweetheart even if I need something in a rush he is always accommodating.  I can't say enough positive things about them.

Excellent work on both the exterior and some interior ceilings in our house.  Crew was on time and cleaned up after themselves like they were never there.  They were not the cheapest estimate but Eduardo explained his process and warranty to me and I was sold after his walk around and later when he sent estimate and statement of work.  I would definitely recommend them and use again.

Honestly it doesn't get any better than this IF you want a superior, quality job done efficiently, accurately in the UTMOST PROFESSIONAL MANNER! Eduardo's team painted the exterior our home in 5 days and we are extremely happy and proud of the job he did. His pricing is fair and he delivers on his word. The result speaks for itself. We found E&S, especially their owner Eduardo S. and his brother, to be exceptionally customer focused. They did an excellent job on the complete repainting of our new home ( both inside and out) while faced with an especially challenging time line. When we realized we had made a mistake in choosing not to paint our ceilings ( against the advice of Eduardo), he came back a month later and did our ceilings with only a few days notice and a few days before our move in. In addition he gave us a great price even though he had to remask the entire inside of the house. Excellent work. Would reccommend to anyone looking for a quality job at not necessarily the cheapest price.

While we ultimately went with another contractor, I wanted to post in order to commend Eduardo for his thoroughness and courtesy in providing a very complete estimate.  I don't feel that I can comment beyond that, but Eduardo came across as highly competent and professional, and I'd have no qualms about suggesting his service as a contender for any other similar job.

I recently had Simon and his team paint the exterior of my home and they did an amazing job! They took care from start to finish: patching all exterior cracks, replacing worn weather stripping around the garage doors, covering all windows and carefully taping around exterior lights and extending ground coverings to ensure no paint splatter would get on the driveway, walkway or plants.  I would HIGHLY recommend E & S Painting and will definitely use them for my interior painting needs.

We hired E&S to paint the entire interior of our house.  We are very pleased with the results and E&S Painting.  They were on time every day, professional, friendly and efficient.  I would definitely recommend using them!

If I could do ZERO stars I would.  Met with Eduardo back in April 25th, came out to our house, gave me a quote on repairs we needed.  He explained he schedules out 2 weeks for work, we said yes let's do it.  Repairs were actually scheduled approximately 1 month out(start May 22).  Here we are day of May 22, no call or contact from E&S, so I call him around 10:00 am - no answer, I follow up with text message.  Didn't we have an appointment to start today?  Finally get a message back from him - asking if I got his VM from the night before - NO, that's why I'm calling...he proceeds to tell me his job ran longer and won't be able to start us today ...(he claims to have left a voicemail for me the night before) NO voicemail message.  So he says probably Thursday or Friday of this week - I'll confirm by Wednesday afternoon.   OK....NO CONFIRMATION on Wednesday .  It's now Thursday, NO E&S and NO call, NO Text....I send out a message to him ??????   I get a response, I had a family emergency all morning couldn't get to my phone this AM.  Sorry to hear that, but what happen to the confirmation yesterday,.....Oh yes, I forgot to do that.   He says....but we can still help you with your stucco repair though.   YEAH thanks but no THANKS!   Very disappointed and now I'll need to go through the process of finding another contractor .  Customer Service is unfortunately non-existent here!

These guys are great. I'm super picky and have had mixed results from other painters I've used. I read the reviews on E and S and hired them to repaint my bedroom. I've never seen painters be more meticulous in my entire life. In my bedroom, which only had a bed and dresser, they spent 3 hours taping everything to make sure there wasn't any spilling. I've hired them to paint my entire house which was recently re-stuccoed. Highly recommended!

I found E&S painters on Yelp and they just painted my home. They did a great job. They covered all surfaces that were not to be painted and cleaned up after themselves. Eduardo is great to work with. He explained everything  and provided options. I was out of town the day they finished and he called me to let me know then returned  to my home the next day for inspection  and payment. I recommend them.
