I was provided information for Drylux by our plumbing service that completed some work on our plumbing.

Justin was the project manager that was handling our job and he explained in great detail the process as well as what needs to be done on our end.

We contacted Homeowner's insurance with him so he would be able to explain to them the issue and the plumber worked with Justin to ensure nothing was missed in the report.

Every technician that has come to the house to take our drywall or place equipment has been very professional as well thorough with their explanation of everything. I couldn't have asked for a better restoration company to come out and service my home!

I wish I can give a zero star.

I requested the water restoration service from Drylux on 8/1 and the technician set up the equipment from 8/1 to 8/4 which is extremely not enough for water dry out. If it is severely damaged, usually it takes approximately 5-7 days, however, Drylux only set up the equipment for 3 days.

Therefore, I tried to get hold of the technician for a follow up service on 8/24, 8/25, 8/27 and 9/17. neither of picking up a phone call nor call me back.

So I have to contact another water restoration company come in to do the work Drylux hasn't finished, unfortunately due to negligence of duty from Drylux, not only have to do water restoration work but also need to do mold remediation as drylux wasn't accomplished anything and cause extra damage to my property.

Here is the following items I realized from working with drylux:

1. Playing the game with plumbers or plumbing companies to have them refer the customer to drylux and then give the cash back for referrals. It's very unethical and unbearable behavior to scam the customers.

2. No integrity at all. Teared up lots of completely dry and irrelevant wall and said it was severe damage.

3. Don't know how to do the job correctly. Scared the customers of mold so we would sign the form right away but drylux don't even know how to do the job right and eventually cause the mold.

4. Overstate the water damage to the customers and insurance companies. By tearing up the extra walls and not doing the work correctly, and end up charging customers and insurance companies double or triple of market price which not even doing a basically asbestos testing.

5. Extremely hard to get hold of doing follow up work but only show up when requested payments.

We were out of town when we received a phone call from our son that we had water leaking into our garage from the ceiling. Knowing we had a bathroom right above the garage, we called Drylux for help. They came out and discovered we had a leak under our toilet. They were prompt in mitigating the problem. They brought in dehumidifiers and fans. They cut out the damaged areas and then repaired it promptly. Our insurance company paid them and we were able to rest knowing it was properly taken care of.

I am so happy and pleased with Drylux's restoration team. The company was very honest and represented themselves well regarding the high quality of their work.
They stood by their commitment to fulfill their customers needs in times of great stress during the water restoration process. Thank you, Shane!

DryLux Came out to my house to take care of some water damage, I had my water heater rupture and unfortunately it got 3 areas of my home wet within 1 hr DryLux was out. They helped me understand how insurance worked and within 2 hours there team had arrived to do all the demo work.

Chris and Justin were the team that came out and they did an amazing job on my house they were quick and efficient. And got all the wet damage out.

The only thing that bothered me at first was the fans they leave but when they came to pick them up 3 days later. It was hilarious because it was so quiet that I ended up buying a fan to sustain the white noise the machines made

The other thing I was worried about is when I saw the reviews on DryLux I was a little hesitant, just with mentions of overcharging etc. but come to find there pricing is industry standard. And they accept what insurance pays. So they can't overcharge the insurance. So that put me at ease.

Overall I definitely give DryLux 5 stars.

Living in another state and receiving a frantic call from your tenant that the house is flooded is never a fun thing. I called Drylux and they sent Bryce right out to asses the damage. He discussed nothing price related with my tenant and called me giving a description of what he walked into and a detailed plan of action. I gave the ok for them to do the work and they knocked it out of the park. I was a little worried how billing and payment would work with me being out of state but the billing department assured me it was no problem to give my payment over the phone.
From start to finish Drylux, Bryce and Lindee turned something that could've been more than a headache into a not so awful process. Thanks guys!

I usually don't write reviews but I had to for this company. After getting some repairs done on a leak in my home I knew I would have to deal with what I thought was going to be a very long and complicated process of payments and paperwork and so forth.
However to my surprise Yessica made everything VERY clear and easy when she called me from the drylux office! She was lively and professional when we talked, explained the process to me very clearly, and we got everything done right there on the phone! They have definitely earned my future business whenever I need them.

Drylux was recommended to me by Alan's Plumbing when my tank burst and I had some pretty severe water damage (2ft of drywall that had to be taken out, carpet padding damaged, etc). Jacob is the rep who came out to my house within an hour or so of the Alan's plumber telling me of the burst and the drywall damage. He arrived before my insurance company's preferred provider so he was able to give a thorough inspection and let me know his findings/recommendation. Due to the severity of the damage and the age of my house (built in 1973), his recommendation was to completely replace the 2 feet of wet/damaged drywall and padding unlike the preferred provider's reco to just dry it out.

I think he could tell this was a stressful time when both provider's were in my home at the same time. He worked out a deal that he'd cover my deductible if I used Drylux and Hyperbuilt which worked out in my favor so I'd not be out $1000. Throughout the process he was in contact with me and kept me aware of updates up until the process transferred to Hyperbuilt from Drylux.

All of the employees selected to come out for the dry-out (Envirolux) and demo were so kind and respectful of my time and limited living area I had to myself. What killed me was not having access to my bathroom/bedroom for ~3 days as part of the dry-out/Asbestos testing steps. I wasn't told that I could have no access to either room (basically the back half of my house) while the walls dried and waiting for testing to clear.

Fun fact -- if your house was built before 1978, your drywall has to be tested for asbestos and if it indeed fails, then a separate department has to come in for demo. It was that Envirolux demo crew themselves who told me this info at 7AM in the morning on day 1. I thought I cleared enough belongings out but NOPE! So I wasn't exactly in the best frame of mind to hear this then.

They were recommended by a plumber who refused to replace my gas water heater until the pedestal and dry wall was fixed. As soon as I signed papers to get started with the water damage the plumber replaced the water heater before the crew started on the dry wall and pedestal.

My brother's family house had a leak, and was swiftly helped by Devon from Drylux. Chris And Trevor, the technicians, were sent by Devon to do the demo. Devon took the time to explain the process thoroughly to my family, and again to the technicians so that everyone was on the same page.
Great service, great company. I will be referring them to anyone and everyone!

This company is horrible! They were sent to me for mitigation through a plumbing company. My water heater just blew one morning, I got to it quickly, and shut the water off. There was very little water damage. Drylux comes in and starts cutting to check for water inside the wall. That was fine, to be expected. But they were in such a hurry to cut into the wall(over cut), that they damaged my water softener unit. Of course they denied that they did it. Then when it came time to dry out the small area, their fans stopped working. I called them back a second time to restart the fans w the humidifier. The equipment failed a second time. Which keeps their equipment in the home another day. The guys that were working this project are rude and bullish when they come into your home. They just want to control the whole situation, and try to inflate their prices. They dont want you thinking at all. They are not there to to help you, they are there to only cash in on your situation. It feels like a scam as soon as they appear.

Drylux came promptly after one of our water heaters leaked into our walk-in closet and part of our bathroom. They were polite and they removed the wet materials. Then they brought in the machines, several dryers and a big hepa air filter. The leak was very recent and it was cold. Mold did not have the time to expand other than on a rather small surface.
They had to walk thought the master bedroom to install these machines inside the master bathroom and the walk-in closet. These machines were smelly and dirty to the point of no being able to sleep - even with door closed - and getting sick because of the dust and the mold they were covered with. The filter on the hepa filter had been changed, but the machines are not cleaned in between jobs. Who knows on what kind of job these machines have been previously: black mold? All kinds of molds and toxic dusts? Without proper cleaning, the spores are getting transferred to the next house. On the second day, I used kitchen paper and HOCL, a great disinfectant and mold killer, to wipe the machines, and the papers, once after another, came out black. The machines, including the filter, were filthy and smelly.
The two workers came back and forth through the bedroom with their shoes, from a previous job, and taped a plastic runner on the floor only after they passed through several times. The plastic should have been taped first. When they came to remove the machines, they left a large hole in the plastic wall that was going from the bathroom to the outside. Any type of rodent or else could come in. We had to take care of this ourselves, like we had to clean the machines ourselves too.

I have had this type of services twice in other states, so I can compare. It was a crude and sloppy job. When you are dealing with water damaged buildings and mold, you have to be careful with hygiene and mold toxicity. On the previous other jobs, they used booties over their shoes, put plastic runner immediately, and taped the area with a plastic sheet. They also brought clean and non-smelly machines. They ran an air vacuum while they were removing the wet materials.

Drylux is not careful enough with mold and hygiene. I react strongly to mold and I have been sick since they came, and now on heavy doses of anti-histamine and pain killers.  I am well aware that they are not doing mold remediation per se, but they should be much more careful with not transferring toxic mold from one house to the next. I am a retired physician and I am educated on the effects of mold on health.

Plumber contacted Drylux for restoration after repairs completed for 2nd floor bathroom.  Since the work has been dried out, Drylux has gone MIA from my insurance company.  I've been price gouged and ripped off for unnecessary work that will not be covered.  Drylux won't even respond to ME to justify the work done, which leads me to believe the insurance adjuster hit the nail on the head for the case review.  DO NOT USE THEM!!!!  My bathroom tile is still torn up and the toilet in the tub because their sister company Hyperbuilt went MIA as well.   Happy Holidays....hope they feel good about themselves.

I had an issue with this company and wrote a scathing review. Prior to  writing THIS review I received a phone call from the owner of this business. He was genuinely shocked that this happened to us and took measures to not have it happen again. He had a new sales person, he was extremely busy and perhaps overwhelmed. He is committed to working with this person to make sure they are trained properly. He also spoke to management of the plumbing company to find out why they were brought into this job. It appears that this was more misunderstanding than out and out bad intent. He offered to do whatever he could to assist with the work although it had already been done. I would give them another chance.

Dealing with damage is stressful, Drylux helps to alleviate the pain.  They handle everything from start to finish and they are courteous, knowledgeable, respectful, and highly competent.

We we were pleased with how quickly they showed up and how reliable they have been.  They say what they are going to do and get the job done and done well!  Each employee has been resourceful,! empathetic and trustworthy and we felt comfortable having  them in our home as they worked tirelessly, meticulously and cautiously cleaning up from extensive damage.

We were impressed with their communication,  how well they clean up after themselves and the white glove service they provide every step of the way.  We would recommend Drtkix to any homeowner experiencing a water damage crisis.

Very Responsive
We called Drylux Restoration after our water heater burst. They were recommended by our tight-knit community. Water was leaking from the water heater at the bottom and seeping into our walls! Jeff Digne from Drylux responded very quickly and came to our house to assess the situation. Jeff explained the process to open affected walls, dry everything out, and then walked us through the insurance claim process. He was very thorough, pleasant and easy to work with. He answered questions and responded to us quickly a number of times after that. Our decision to go with Drylux was reinforced when both the home warrenty technician and insurance agent volunteered that they've worked with them before and we were in good hands.

Our water heater burst and home warranty called out a plumbing company to get it replaced.  Since the wall was wet along with baseboards and the drywall it sits on they recommended Drylux as a restoration company they work with often.  Drylux came out to give a quote on drying everything out and their sister company doing the replacement of drywall.  They called our insurance with us to verify our deductible.  They then said well if we do all the work you will pay $999 and the rest will be covered by insurance.  So we signed we've never been through this process and they started drying everything out.  Their sister company came out to take pics and said they will send everything to the insurance.  You pay $999 once you schedule your first appt for the drywall install.  After the drying out we never heard anything.  Insurance contacted us about the claim and asked for pics and I told them Drylux was submitting everything.  They never sent it in.  I tried calling multiple times with no answers to calls.  Then I get emails and letters asking for $1400 for the drying out my husband had multiple conversations with them.  They said the insurance denied the claim called insurance and they said we closed it because we never received anything.  Call back Drylux after the back and forth we received a threatening email for legal action.  We paid the $1400 to be done with them.  Will  not do business with them again .  If your smart you will stay away.  Who knows if their sister company really exist 6 months later and I still have no walls in my garage on that side.  Very unprofessional and unresponsive.  Even have signed paperwork in hand for the amounts agreed on and won't honor what we were told.

We had a leak in our kitchen and called DryLux to help us out. The technicians were really nice and helpful, but dealing with the company itself has been a nightmare. They would rarely stay organized of our communications with them and would often reach out to us for payment when we had already paid them. They were also rude/careless when we'd talk to them. Their office turnover rate must be high because we were always talking to someone different when they would reach out or when we would call them, which always caused more confusion when solving issues. Their prices are also ridiculously high. I only gave 2 stars because of the technicians who came out to our house to fix the leak and damage. Otherwise every other aspect of working with this company has been stressful and confrontational.

Fishy and no integrity at all.  They pointed to the completely dry floor (no water dripping of any kind) and said the floor had severe water damage. They seemed to offer kickback to plumbing companies like APC plumbing. BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL.

DryLux was recommended to us by Day & Night. Our water heater died, and we had to get a new one. But the real problem was all the water damage we had because of the water heater. Day & Night contacted  Jeff Dignor. the Supervised Project Manager. Jeff was at our place in no time. He assessed the damage, contacted our insurance, and his crew was out the same afternoon to remove sheet rock, etc. and set up heat blowers to dry the walls.  We were very impressed with his professionalism and his knowledge and help. He explained the process very thoroughly. His crew was professional and worked into the night. They were out the next day to complete everything and to check out the drying of the walls. We would recommend them again and again and again. They were awesome! No complaints! Just lots of kudos!!!!

Drylux was recommended to us by our trusted plumbing company after a supply line burst over night unknowingly. We had a ton of water damage, and a ton of stress. Austin, our project manager, was at our place Saturday morning within the hour and immediately eased our nerves. He was extremely professional and informative, walking us through every step of his assessment and explaining the process and mitigation plan. Right after he left, Chris and another technician took over installing fans  and getting right to work. So far we've been very impressed with the attentive service we've received. As many know, it's stressful working with insurance companies, but Drylux has promised to help handle a majority of that communication and payment.
I will update this post as soon as repairs are complete and the claim is closed with toinsurance.

I deducted a star for Drylux's references to use Hyperbuilt and Phoenix Fire Restoration for my pack out and repairs. It's been over a month since Hyperbuilt was supposed to finish and I've had to have them come back an additional FOUR TIMES for missing repairs and terrible craftsmanship.
Phoenix fire restoration took my expensive heirloom rugs to a cleaner that threw my rugs away (!!!) and damaged several items upon pack in. If you use DryLux, DO NOT use their recommended repair and pack out companies. It's been nothing short of a nightmare.

Unimpressed. The work was good, but they royally overcharged our insurance....well over 10,000 for a leak in a wall!  This work, in my opinion was worth 2k. Maybe 3k, but they screwed our insurance out of every dime. And now our homeowners insurance is thru the roof. Never again.

Our toilet flooded last week and Drylux took charge of the restoration and mitigation. The project manager was extremely thorough and communicative. The diagnosis was made immediately after the initial visit and equipment i.e. fans and air humidifiers were brought to my home within a few hours. *update*

The office manager reached out to me to express her apologies. As this was my first experience dealing with such a matter, she helped me understand some of the intricacies and made things right which I appreciate. This left me feeling a lot better.

I had a leak in the wall of my bathroom and this company was recommended by the plumber. Drylux does the demolition and they have a sister company called Hyper Built Who does the restoration. Both companies are very quick to come out initially so they can claim the project before any other companies and get that sweet insurance money. However, after that I could not get a hold of anyone for any answers on estimates or appointments. I called both companies every day and they waited so long to answer me that my hotel stay provided by my insurance company reached it's limit and I was forced to stay in my house with no sink or toilet. I do not recommend either these companies to anybody And I am deeply dissatisfied. You're better off with someone else

Found out recently that I have a leak in my master shower (shower pan) in the 2nd story condo unit that I own/reside. Called the home warranty company... they sent a plumber this morning, since there is some water damage to the ceiling of the unit below mine that I'd like to get fixed ASAP. The plumber was average, neither good nor bad, but diagnosed the shower pan issue, and referred me to Drylux for Damage Restoration. Devon from Drylux was here within the next hour and was ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! As a young adult, I've never had to deal with demo/construction/renovation issues before and was feeling slightly overwhelmed. He sat with me for a full 30 minutes, shared with me what to expect, was very honest, and never made it a sales pitch, but was also so incredibly diligent, knowledgeable, and kind that I would never have even considered using someone else. He got on the phone with the owners of the unit below mine, told them the problems, what to expect, and was very kind to them, as well. He then had to send his technicians out to install the dry out system in my master bathroom where the leak is. They came same day, gave me a 30 min. curtesy call, arrived on time, and were in and out in five minutes. They were also extremely kind and knowledgable. I haven't even had construction start and I can confidently say that there is no one else I would recommend for a bathroom remodel/damage restoration job. They can do it ALLLL! I'm thrilled and relieved. I'd give ten stars if I could. I will be using them moving forward in all of my future homes, without a doubt. Thank you Drylux! Your customer service and knowledge is unmatched!

DryLux was not great. They came to dry out a leak we had in our bathroom and they ended up not putting one of the hoses from their machine in the bathtub so when it drained water it drained on to our bathroom floor. Not a great start but this review is really for their sister company Hyperbuilt Construction.

After Drylux finished their work they sent us to Hyperbuilt (HB) who was going to patch up the drywall (maybe 4 square feet) We signed the contract with HB on 11/27. Our inspection was scheduled for 11/29 and a rep from HB was present.
The report was formed post-inspection 12/2. We never received a copy after being promised it in an email. On 12/10 we sent an email asking for it and received the report. Who knows when we would have heard anything if we hadn't reached out. The only reason we know the report was made on 12/2 is because it is dated. On 12/10 the HB rep said he put the estimate in the system. On 12/17 we still hadn't heard from anyone. We email the rep who says at 10am on 12/17 he'll look into it and get back to us shortly
24 hours later we emailed asking for any news after not hearing anything and we were told it was in process and would be assigned to a Project Manager (PM) that day. On 12/19 we say we are leaving the next day for vacation and will need to schedule it in January which is exactly what we wanted to avoid in the first place. We also ask for the cost of the project. On 12/21 we say we are available on 1/2 or 1/3 and are told they don't have an opening until 1/4. We accept immediately and ask for the cost of repairs again. The rep (not a PM because we still hadn't heard from one) replies saying the 4th actually doesn't work but he can move a job on the 2nd for us. We say that'd be great and ask for the cost of repairs for the 3rd time. The rep then asks us if the 8th works??? We say if that's the earliest then fine but don't know how the 2nd turned into the 8th. We also ask for the cost of repairs for the 4th time and are told $600.

We never heard from a PM, initiated all communication, and were charged $600 for 4sq feet of drywall being patched which took the guy 3 hours to do.

I call the GM and laid it all out and he said that things under $700 aren't a high priority and we never heard from a PM because of that and because they were shorthanded. He also says for jobs less than $700 they normally tell people to get a handyman because it will be cheaper. NEVER TOLD US. My buddy is a contractor and could've done it for $200. The GM told me he'd look at it but there was no way he could knock off anywhere close to half the cost. This whole process was BS. We only went through all this because it was through our home warranty company so they pick who does the work. I will be calling them and requesting that they never use Drylux or Hyperbuilt again.

*UPDATE*
The company cashed our check 3 weeks after I talked to the GM. He made no contact between the time he said he would see what he could do and cashing our check. What a complete joke of a company.

Very pleased with the service they provided. Assuming everything goes smoothly with the homeowners insurance, as they assured me, I will gladly recommend this company. We discovered a leak from our water pipes and the plumber dispatched to our house suggested DryLux to do the demolition and dryout work. I first made sure they were a preferred contractor with Allstate before having them sent to our house. Within a hour, Austin, a project manager, showed up and assessed the magnitude and extent of water damage. He walked me through the entire process and helped get a claim started with Allstate. Within an hour, a crew was at our house to do the work. The team was exceptionally professional, courteous and friendly. They arrived around 730pm and didn't leave until after 2am. Denny (Dennis) and his crew were so meticulous and careful with my home and our belongings. The guys first placed plastic runners on the floors, put on shoe booties and gently moved our things before demolishing and extracting cabinets and drawers. Denny kept me informed at every step of the process and was so conscious about being in my way as I moved about my home. His crew was so accommodating. At 9pm they had to take a quick trip to Home Depot for something but otherwise I didn't see these guys take a single break, touch their phones or even ask to use our bathroom. I offered them waters and they were so gracious and were apologetic about how long the process was taking. Around midnight they informed me that they had called backup to give them a hand. Within 30 minutes, another crew of two showed up. Everyone was dressed in matching uniform and was extremely courteous. At the conclusion of the job they hauled off all the trash, swept the floors, vacuumed intensively and covered any nearby furniture with plastic drop clothes. They also positioned multiple fans and HEPA filters throughout the work area to expedite drying.
Thank you so much Denny, Chinto, Chris R. And Trevor!
You guys really saved the day.
Will update with more as it becomes available!

This company was referred to me by a plumber my home warranty uses. My sink drain line was leaking and saturated my new cabinets with grey water. Austin was super helpful and walked me through the entire process. He also helped me with my insurance claim and went the extra mile to move things along. Always completely honest about the entire process and answered any questions I had.

Drylux exceeded my expectations and really changed my view of the flood restoration industry.
I've had bad experiences in the past, so I was skeptical when I needed help. But I'm glad I took a chance the guys over at Drylux.

They were prompt, professional, and really catered to our needs. Ryley came to my house and showed he cared about getting our home back to normal. I'm very protective of my house and it's cleanliness and Ryley was conscious of that from start to finish. He and his team, including the owners, took great care of us.

A couple months after Robert (the owner) came by to check on our project. He heard of my brother's mother in law, who recently had a flood in her home. He took time out of his busy day to personally deliver fans, free of charge, to help dry out her flood.

I would recommend Drylux and their team to anyone!

Drylux is the best company to work with. We had just remodeled our house and our plumber didn't hook up a water line correctly. Drylux came immediately & fixed the issue. They pulled up the flooring, installed dry fans & their guys came daily to check the floors to make sure there was no extra damage. Not only did they respond right away, the quality of their workers was exceptional. I was impressed with how personal they were. The owner of the company even called to double check how everything went.

My water heater decided to give out on me and flooded my garage and part of my laundry room. Jeff Digne came out promptly and was very helpful and got someone out to take care of it immediately. He got a hold of my homeowners warranty people and got a claim filed for me. I was very pleased with the service I got from them.

Our hot water heater was leaking but we didn't know about it until we saw water in our garage. We called the plumber and he is the one that discovered  mold on and around our walls. He recommended Drylux to us, he made the phone call and they were at our house with equipment within a half hour. They tore out the molded areas in our walls and set up big fans and other machines to take out the moisture. Everyday for almost a week, someone would come out and check on the walls to see if they were dry. I am so pleased with the way this company worked with us and took care of everything! I highly recommend Drylux if you are having any water issues!

They did a good job but massively overcharged when compared to the same service from other venders.  In addition they virtually guranteed that insurance would cover the cost without ever actually seeing where the original leak existed, they assumed a pipe burst which was incorrect, thus no insurance coverage.

***update*** after submitting payment in full and sending a last scathing email to the contractor i was working with, I received a call from the new general manager. He mentioned that the representative I was working with is no longer with the company (based on other complaints from clients) and that he is trying to change the experience/reputation for clients dealing with this company. I was offered some financial compensation which i do appreciate. I am providing an update to recognize the fact that the company has recognized their flaws and are attempting to improve the perception of their company. It doesn't take away obviously my initial experience but i can appreciate trying to make things right.

Original review:
My experience with this company and representative has been nothing short of extremely underwhelming. For four months I have been trying to get my kitchen back in working order. I've been working with the rep sending pics of what I liked, driving across town to look at cabinets, and accommodating these people to come in and measure my kitchen.  To make it clear-I wanted customizations for a farmhouse sink and Beverage/wine cooler. To make a long story short: I receive an email from the representative saying-and I quote: At this point, I am beyond my comfort level, and to be honest, I don't know if you'd be getting a good price, or if I'm even going to make money. There is so much to this that needs to be considered and I don't quite have the experience or time to undergo a custom project. I believe that the non experience is an excuse for the company wanting to move on to bigger and better things. Either way this should have been communicated well in advance of four months down the road. My issue is not that you can't/won't do the work it's that you didn't tell me until months into the project. I would not recommend this company for any remodeling work and as the representative email stated : they only do replacements of the exact kitchen cabinet model.  I can't speak to an experience with them for those projects but for anything else extra, I'd say stay away.

Pruit Plumbers recommended and there plumber actually called Drylux to come to my house. Drylux got to my house quick and got fans setup the same day due to a water heater leak.  They were not gentle ripping out hard wood floors and floor boards which made those repairs more expensive.  When the insurance adjuster came out after the work was completed.  It was discovered they had over charged insurance company close to $2,000.  They had included taxes which were NOT taxable, padded bill with charges for work done, which they did not do and left and billed for materials not needed or requested.  Later I received a bill from Drylux for the FULL Amount with a note saying they contacted the insurance company who told them they had sent the check to me, and I was responsible for paying the bill.   I immediately contacted my insurance company they said they had sent the check directly to Drylux.   I would NOT trust this company.

My husband and I were so impressed by this company. After our home suffered some water damage issues we were referred to these guys and are so thankful for it. They were at our house within an hour of the issue being diagnosed and worked well into the evening to finish the job for the day. They were organized and careful in their disassembly of our bathroom and took a lot of care and pride in their work. Thank you Bruce and CJ for your hard work, we know our house repairs are in good hands.

The Drylux team provided extremely good service.  They were scheduled to come out the same day a pipe burst.  They showed up on time and removed all the damaged material.  The bathroom was dried out and water free.  They recommended Hperbuilt for the restoration.   Although I highly recommend Drylux, I would not recommend Hyperbuilt.  They never return phone calls and after 3 weeks of trying to get the work scheduled we contacted a different contractor.

Our experience with drylux was ok. The techs were knowledgeable, friendly, and flexible, working around my schedule to check in the equipment. I might use them again in a pinch but will never ever use the sister company, Hyperbuilt, again. Terribly run company. The problem is that their project managers have a crazy large workload so customer service, availability, communication and follow through really suffer. It took three months to even get them to my house for a half day job and took three visits and tons of phone calls to finish. The project manager confused my job with other jobs and his team didn't update him when they didn't have to do all the work they had planned to so the extra work and materials ended up on my bill. The renovation team was nice and did a good job overall though. But then getting my invoice and paying was a nightmare. The project manager took over a month to get the invoice to the staff and it was wrong. I sent a check to the address on their website and business card and apparently they moved awhile ago so it took weeks for the check to reach them. Anyway, one of the most frustrating experiences I've had with a contractor ever. Bottom line- hire more project managers and pay them well and the company will probably do well.

The Drylux team has been amazing to work with and a total life saver.  We've had to use them twice now in the last three months after moving into a new home.  The previous owners did a couple half baked jobs that left us with flooding in two areas - carpet and hard wood.  Drylux was available 24/7 to help.  They came out on the weekend the first time and 2am on a Friday the second.  They got everything dried up and at a fair price.  The second time around we just couldnt use our homeowner's insurance again for fear of a major increase in rates, but the cost for the dryout *and* the repairs is affordable enough we can pay out of pocket.  We explained the issue and they really helped us out.  If you need water remediation, this is the place to call.  I won't hesitate to refer family and friends to Drylux or call them again if God forbid I need them.  Thanks, Drylux!

So I was cautious at first to hire these guys due to some of the reviews on here. It honestly seemed a little shady at first because my plumber was acting like a sales guy for Drylux  but after my experience I can only say good things. Cody, along with the other technician was very respectful to my wife and I. They showed up fast, set up there equipment, cleaned up any mess they made and they were back to get there stuff two days later as scheduled. Not only was their service great but the total cost of everything was not too shabby. Thank you drylux for your services much appreciated.

Well, our hot water heater leaked so we had our home warranty people out.  They couldn't do anything because of mold so low and behold they knew someone who would come right now and look at it.  It was DryLux.  They came right out, we signed the consents - no dollar estimates were provided at any time.  Long story short - we also dealt with Hyperbuilt.  The workers were clean and did great work.  We were without a hot water heater for a month - not to the fault of this company.  THEN - I get the bill.  Over $5,000 to dry and re-drywall a little piece in our garage, probably not even one drywall sheet was used.  My insurance paid and we paid deductible.  I keep getting a bill stating we owe this and insurance won't pay.  I'm curious - why didn't I get an original estimate in the beginning and now I have over $500 to pay out of my pocket!  Robbery!  Ashlee NEVER answers her phone and has been less than helpful.  I have called her and the insurance multiple times just begging for someone to help.  Insurance says this company settled for the difference, but I keep getting a bill.  I'm wondering if I'm being robbed???  What the heck is happening?  I will never use this company again....and I still don't have answer about this extra $500+ dollars and with no initial estimate on my out of pocket shouldn't I be worried about robbery?

When our refrigerator supply line busted and flooded our kitchen, Drylux came out right away and started extracting the water. If they didn't come out so promptly, we could of had way more damage from the flood!
We had never experienced water damage before, at first it was stressful not knowing what to expect, but the Drylux team was helpful and patiently explained the process. They got everything started and processed with the insurance company too.
When they came out to start the dryout the tech, Riley, was very professional and friendly. They had to remove the water from the kitchen (on the second floor) and the lower level bedroom. After they removed the water they set up fans for a couple days to get everything dry. The last step in getting our home back to normal was the restoration. We were super nervous when we saw them removing drywall and ripping out some of the flooring because I didn't know how long it would take to replace stuff like that. We really liked that we didn't have to go out and search for someone to do it because Drylux has a sister company that does restoration so they saved us time by doing the work back to back.
All in all, we were happy that we didn't have to do much but call Drylux and they took care of everything from start to finish. We are very pleased that we used them and would recommend them to our friends and family.

Mike Anderson and Steel came out to do the work and were perfectionists, helpful, kind took great care and pride in my home.  We had water damamge and from start to finish, this company and their subsiderary Hyper-built were A+ all the way!! These guys.... they saved my first home buying experience.... TWO TIMES. The day after my gf and I bought our house there was a leak in the kitchen that ran long enough to possibly have to replace all the wood floors in this house, my insurance company recommended them and they came immediately upon request and started the job... they saved my wood floors!

A month goes by and now there's a leak from a bathroom into the master bedroom .... AGAIN, I call drylux and a tech arrives at 2am and helps my gf and I through the whole deal and cut me a great price on the drying AND repair work.... (out of pocket this time).

Thank you Drylux for turning a horrible situation into nothing to worry about.

DRYLUX SUCKS!!!!
They will ask you to sign a contract saying that you will pay for everything the insurance company will not pay for. This is ridiculous!!!

Them here is your bill sir. WHAT $10,000 ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MINDS? YOU ONLY DRIED OUT 2 ROOMS. Sorry sir your insurance company did not pay us enough. If you have signed this form, Do not pay them. Insurance companies are there to make sure you do not get ripped off. Please don't let them try to blame your insurance company.

Get a second opinion for selecting.

The gentlemen showed up promptly and were very pleasant.  However I was skeptical of their quote as there was very little damage from the leaking water heater -- and it was just slightly above what they guessed my deductible to be. So I requested 2 other companies to come out for a quote. Both indicated that the damage had NOT traveled into the house and the only thing that needed to be replaced was a base board in the garage on the pedestal that the water heater sits on.

Drylux was nice enough to call shortly after their visit and offer me a discounted rate from the original quote but a discount on unneeded repairs isn't much of a discount.

This company is great and saved me this past week.  I had my water heater go out on me and flood my garage and bedroom. Luckily my friend went through the same thing last month and reffered me to Drylux they said they were awesome and now I would have to agree... I called them and within 1 hour they were at my house. Riley was super helpful and walked me through filing a claim with my insurance. They rebuilt my stand so a new water heater could be installed right away and set up fans and dehumidifiers.  My house was dry within 3 days!! They made this stressful situation easy and even the owner Ben called to check up on how everything went. My insurance company was able to pay them directly so there was no out of pocket cost to me. I can't say enough about this company. No body likes having to deal with issues in their home, but Drylux helped lift the burden for my wife and I. They were scheduled to come out and showed up on time ready to go. There guys acted very professional and looked sharp. I even allow them to come back a different day to finish up when nobody was home. They are a company that has earned my trust. They were able to do it all from tearing everything out, drying the area, and fixing the damaged drywall. They responded promptly and quickly and thoroughly addressed our flood problems.  I was not impressed with their billing processes, however.

Twice over the next 7 months we received invoices asking us to pay thousands of dollars more than what the insurance company had estimated, claiming they were told the insurance company had sent us a check, which was not accurate (considering some of the other reviews on here, apparently I'm not the only one they do this with).  To their credit, however, each time I called Drylux to clear things up they were friendly and helpful and apologized for the confusion and panic that receiving such a demand for payment in the mail can create.

My water heater leaked and made a big mess. They came within an hour and tested the drywall. The water had gotten three rooms' walls wet. Sent a team over same day. They guys were polite and wore booties over their shoes in the house. They basically had to tear down and replace a lot of the water heater stand. Removed the base boards and setup dryers. They even installed my new water heater for me since I had bought it from Home Depot and it was sitting in the garage. So far very satisfied with the quick and polite service.

Drylux was recommended to me by a gentleman who fixed a leak from my toilet, a wax ring. I gave them a call and they were speedy. Austin, supervisor/manager, arrived and was friendly and knowledgeable. The rest of his staff arrived shortly after to actually fix the issue. They were nice. What bugged me about my experience was that they ripped up tile and crown molding and didn't save me any to refer to when I had to replace it. I'm doing my last few projects to sell this place, which I told them, and now I have added expenses because everything is hard to match, so I have to replace a lot of unnecessary items. I feel like it's a rookie move not to ask me If i needed pieces of anything if I needed it. They just assumed, and when I bought this place, the previous owners left me nothing. They also re-broke the wax ring that I just paid for a couple hours earlier! Communication is good though. Austin helped me out through the process!

What a rip-off.  No wonder our insurance rates are as high as they are.  I called Drylux on the recommendation of the plumbing company that came to install a new water heater.  The Drylux  bill was outrageously high for what little they did.  My insurance company negotiated a smaller amount and thankfully the expenses were covered.  But the bottom line is that Drylux is not a company I'd ever do business with in the future.

I had an Air conditioner leak above the garage.  My plumber called Drylux, he was there in 10 minutes with a bid.  He looked at it said, mold, damage, replace dry wall, replace 2x4's  $2600.00

I called another company- he looks at it, and says, we just need to dry it out, drill a couple of holes to allow air in attic and patch $200-$250.  unless ceiling is sagging from wetness, no need to replace it.

So I told him about Drylux and he said, they give the plumber $800 off the top if you go with them.

I was referred to Drylux by a plumbing company after our water heater leaked all over our garage. The owner was very friendly on the phone and agreed to have someone out in about an hour for a free estimate. The tech did not spend much time explaining his findings to us but rather jumped right into questions about our home owner's insurance deductible. This was extremely uncomfortable considering that we were never provided an actual number as to the estimated work needed. When asked, the tech stated it was definitely more than $$ (insert deductible amount). The entire exchange felt off and like he was trying to push us towards filing a claim. Fast forward 2 days and another very well rated company came out for an inspection/estimate. The other company's tech told us the damage was minimal and even explained how we could handle the work ourselves for very little cost. Drylux failed us and is clearly not staffed by people of integrity. Do yourself a favor, save some $$, and take your business elsewhere.

We had a leaking water heater. After calling out a plumber to remove the heater, they suggested we call Drylux to clean up the water damage it had caused. My wife called and they had a sales rep out to the house within an hour. They gave us a written quote of $2300 to remove the damaged areas and a verbal of $2000-2300 to rebuild. This seemed high. The rep, Craig, urged my wife to sign and schedule the cleanup crew so they could get started before our insurance adjuster got there. She did. However, when I was told of the quote, it seemed ridiculously high and immediately called their office to cancel the work. My Allstate agent agreed the price was ridiculous and called to set me up with a great company that was able to get started on the work quickly and for a total of $750 (not the $4300-4600 quoted by Drylux). Then, our adjuster calls my wife back and says he wanted to get back to us quickly to make sure we weren't using Drylux, because they have had lots of problems with them lately. To make things worse, their rep Craig, called my wife back after he heard we cancelled. He said that he didn't want her to think that he was trying to take advantage of her, so he offered to waive our $1000 deductible (which just confirmed the fact). To their credit, the owner (Robert) did follow up with me to see if there was a problem. He left a voicemail and I never called back. Didn't have the time. Too little too late anyway.

When our home warranty company service guy told me that there was water damage inside the house when our water heater broke last month my heart sank to my feet because we had a flood earlier this year that took almost 5 months to complete all of the repairs. However, we called Drylux and they were there withing 20 minutes and they called the insurance company right away to get the process started. They got the house dried out in 3 days and their repair company, Hyperbuilt, scheduled the repairs for 2 week later. Everything was completed in under 1 month, they did a wonderful job and even helped out with part of our deductible! I would definitely recommend this company!

They practice insurance fraud.  They will claim you have more damage than you have in order to get a large payout from your insurance company.  I have reported them to the Attorney General's office for their predatory practices here in Arizona.  I had a plumber who worked with them come out to fix a faucet in a property I manage.  He said that the faucet leak probably caused water damage to the bathroom below and I should have Drylux come out and that property insurance could cover the costs.  Of course this was scary.  When they came out they told me they had to send samples to the lab, but had a machine that showed water damage through the walls.  This was ALL a setup.  After their lab confirmed water damage then they said they'd walk me through everything I needed to say to the insurance company.  This is a red flag.  No company should ever have to walk you through what to say.  If they have to do that they are most likely lying damage should be apparent and clear.  I felt uneasy thanks to a discerning spirit and had another contractor come out.  Of course, there was no water damage, he literally wiped up the water that existed with a towel.  I was extremely embarrassed and hurt that I had been taken advantage of in this way.  The renters in the home were inconvenienced to the extent of having their bathroom chopped up for damage that did not exist!  Our management company ended up having to pay for repairs to the home based on false information.  It is a horrible feeling to be lied to and to be taken advantage of and they are predatory in every sense of the word.  RUN

Update :I just received a call from a manager at drylux. They understood my frustration  and promptly made an adjustment to my invoice.  I genuinely appreciate her concern and acknowledgment for my concerns as well as quickly resolving my issue. My opinion on this business has changed based on her desire to ensure not only that my concerns were heard but  resolved.

I called drylux to come help me with flooding in one of my rooms. They never came to check on the equipment as promised and as a result, they flooded my bathroom with new hardwood floors. They charged my insurance for the additional damage that they caused . I've called multiple times to speak with a manager. No response.  I filed a claim with BBB  and they refused to acknowledge their error.  I would  never do business with them nor would I recommend them to anyone. Very disappointed.

We had a leak in our downstairs bathroom that came into our laundry room and when we saw the water pooling and felt the wet wall we panicked.  We called our home warranty company and the plumber suggested Drylux. They came out quickly and took care of business, and saved us from a moldy mess. They dried out the issues and referred us to Hyperbuilt who did the dry wall repairs. Both done quickly and professionally. I had another leak in a different area of my home last year and used a different company (SOS) and had an awful experience so I was hesitant to have to go through this again. These guys more than made up for that experience and saved our home.

This company just called me to tell me I owed them 3k for my flood repair. I never had a flood, turns out that it was a relative and it appears this company just finds someone with your last name and shares all of your business with them.  They didn't verify the address, or even ask for the first name of the person they were looking for before sharing way more than appropriate about someone else's bills.  I know I will never be calling this company.  Smells like a scam to me.

In response to Ben's comments, I found out from the relative that had the misfortune of receiving service from Drylux that Drylux company was asking for more than her entire insurance check for their services, when they were not the only company the insurance check was to pay.  The experience she had was very similar to what Denise Z. and Melissa T.  described in their reviews. I also know that my information was not provided to this company, they did the service at her house not mine so I know they had her correct contact information, but she had given up trying to deal with this company so they contacted me instead.

Our water heater was leaking water, so our home warranty company contacted Pruitt's Plumbing, and they were out the same day.  Turns out the water heater stand was also ruined, so Pruitt's recommended DryLux to repair the structural damage.  DryLux was also great, an estimator came out to take a look at 4 pm, and by 8 pm the damage was repaired to the point where Pruitt's could install the new water heater the next morning (full repair will need to wait for homeowner's insurance OK).  Being without hot water is a pain, but if this were to happen again, I could recommend either of these two companies without hesitation.

We had almost  an identical experience to the customer in 2013. Small leak, paid almost 4000 out of pocket.  Same story....had a huge wall ripped out, lots of machines dryers etc. which likely were not needed. We looked at the individual charges and they were outrageous. Horrible experience. This company is dishonest, unprofessional and out to rip you off. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT USE!!!

I am updating my review after posting my original review the office manager contacted me and took care of everything. I would still not recommend the company after the experience we had, but i have to give the business credit for fixing the problem 1 year later. They completely voided the rest of our bill and took fault for the bad experience. Beware of using this company. Homeowners insurance recommended this company and it has been over 1 year since they started the job and never finished it. Insurance cut them a check and they came back saying we still owe them over $1000. Insurance stated that there is no way the job would have cost anymore. It has been 9 months since sandy in the front desk said she would call back after dealing with insurance and get somebody out to finish the job. Once going over the costs with insurance I was shocked to hear the company bill my insurance for being at my house for over 30 hours when they were there for 5 hours max.

I had a similar experience as Melissa T.  They went over the top with a simple repair. They came right away but never told me that i would be charged after hour fees because it was after 6:00pm. Then they had the nerve to call OVER 1 YEAR LATER to tell me that my insurance co never paid them, and my insurance confirmed that they did. I would not recommend!

If you do use this company be sure that you have good homeowners insurance.  The estimate for the work I had to have done on the base of my water heater after a slow leak was astronomical!  Sure, why not charge an exorbitant amount of money when an insurance company will be picking up most of the bill.  How about $396.50 to take off and reset the water heater?  The total estimate came to $2,258.62.  There is no doubt that there is price gouging going on here. I am giving them an extra star because both of ladies who answered the phone in the office were polite and tried to be helpful and the young man who came out to give me my unwritten estimate was prompt, considerate and professional.

DO NOT USE DRYLUX!!  This company does poor work, has horrible customer service and over charges.  My home owners insurance states that they always have problems with Drylux over charging and not being able to justify the extra expenses.  Now Drylux wants me to pay an addition $700 on top of what my insurance has paid them.  DO NOT USE DRYLUX!!

We had a major water heater leak that caused a lot of water damage.  These guys responded within an hour, and the process of drying out and repair was very painless for us, including the support for our successful home insurance claim.  They have 30+ employees - all of them professional and charming.   Highly recommended.

Don't use this company. They are dishonest. I hear that several insurance companies won't even deal with them because of dishonest practices. They came out and used way too much equipment and too much time to dry out a small amount of water damage caused by a water heater leak. The guy told me that they would repair the damage if holes they made in my walls and ripped up baseboards as part if the service as long as I signed over the check from my insurance company directly to them. I received a call from them demanding that I turn over the check from the insurance company 3 days before I even received the check. Then they came to pick up the check. I gave it to them but I never heard back about the mess they left my house in with several holes in the walls or the baseboards that they ripped out. So I called them to ask when they would like to schedule the repairs. Now they are yelling me that I will have to contact my insurance company and file another claim for the damage they caused so they can get paid to fix it. That is not what they told me when they first came out. Very dishonest company. STAY AWAY FROM DRYLUX IF YOU WANT TO HAVE HONEST REPAIRS AND AVOID BEING RIPPED OFF.
