Established in 2007.
We opened Day and Knight Plumbing after being a service plumber for over 20 years. The business grows strictly by word of mouth referrals. We service Tucson and all surrounding areas.
ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER
David apprenticed with master plumber Rick Sparoni in Houston Texas. As a young newly married man with a new baby David worked hard. He said when his second child was born that one day he was going to open his own business: Day and Knight Plumbing & Drain. David moved his family to Tucson in 1994, and had a good job with a large plumbing company where he served faithfully for 17 years. As the culture of the company changed, and Davids youngest was getting ready to graduate from the U of A the time was right for David to move forward with his plan of owning his own company. Day and Knight Plumbing & Drain. He worked tirelessly to get everything he needed, and when fully ready, gave his 2 week notice. David's first year as a soloprenuer successful. As clients referred him to their family and friends the business flourished. David is hard working honest man.

David called and came right on time, actually he came about 10 minutes earlier. Super professional, quality work and finished the job. I will definitely recommend David to the neighborhood.
We have called for their services twice in the past month ( different problems ). On both occasions they were prompt, courteous and professional. Highly recommended!
Called Dave out to our complex the clubhouse had a backed up sewer problem.
He was on time fixed the problem and the price was great!

David and Austin were efficient and honest. They have been out to my Mom's place in Tucson three times in the last ten years. Although I am not from the area... I have their contact information stored in my phone... for good reason.
Professional, on time, honest and everything was clean before they left.

Absolutely the best plumber I've ever used!! I would highly recommend to anyone!! Extremely professional and knowledgeable about big and small projects!!
No one likes finding leaky water, but Dave and Austin took care of my problem fast and put my worries to ease. They were at my home an hour after I called them and had things fixed and cleaned up shortly after. The thing I appreciated the most is that they kept me in the loop the whole time and showed me the problem they were fixing. Thanks again guys!!!

$140/hour and they took 3 1/2 hours to change out a bathroom faucet! While everything's now working well, that's just too expensive to use them again.
David is like a surgeon in his precision, professionalism, and clean-up. He will be on-time. He will complete the job as quoted (and he will do the job right!). He will leave your house cleaner than he found it. Day & Knight can handle all plumbing issues, as well as natural gas lines. This is by far the most reputable plumber I've found in Tucson.

Another excellent visit from Day and Knight Plumbing! Our disposal dropped off the fitting under our sink, water and yucky waste filling the cabinet below at 6:30 last night. We cleaned it up, called Day and Knight, and let it dry out overnight. Eight a.m. today Austin was here to repair and save the day. We really appreciate their responsiveness and professionalism. David Knight responded to my call immediately. He repaired a leaky toilet in 10 minutes and explained in detail what needed to be done to avoid the need for future service calls. He is a very nice person to deal with.

They came out and snaked the line from the tub and that's all they did, even though I told them it was a recurring problem. Not even a month later the problem came back. They charged $100 labor and $50 for the use of a snake. You'd think a snake would be part of the package of being a plumber.

All the drains in my house backed up and caused a disaster. Of course this happened on a weekend evening . I'm a single mom and at the time was a new homeowner who didn't know what she was in for. David came out within an hour, unclogged my master drain and fixed the problem. He also video'd my line and alerted me to a bigger issue under the house. He didn't charge me an arm and a leg and let me know if I wanted to have the other work done he'd work out a payment schedule! He didn't charge me a special fee for coming outside of normal hours and was fast,kind and courteous!! I will recommend him any day of the week!!!
I had two leaky faucets and a troublesome toilet drain. They came out and fixed them all for about $150. They were quick and really professional. They were upfront and honest from what I know about the problems. I'll definitely call them again!
Both David and Austin were great to work with. On time, got right to work, did a great job in both cases. It's never easy finding a contractor you can trust but I certainly won't hesitate to use these guys again. Hopefully, not too soon........

My first time using Day and Knight Plumbing and I am impressed with the service from the initial phone call to the call leading up to the arrival of David who was on time and GREAT!! He was very thorough explaining everything he did. The service cost much less then then they originally quoted. The experience couldn't of been better.
David has been saving our life for the past eight or nine years now. If you have a plumbing issue don't think about who you gonna call. Just call David.

Out toilets backed up. This generally means that we needed our sewer cleared of roots. My wife was not feeling well that day and not having a reliable bathroom was a big problem. I called Day and Knight and talked to Vera. David called to tell me he was on the way within 10 minutes !!! Amazingly fast. The blockage didn't stand a chance and our drains were cleared and working well within an hour of my initial call.
I understand that I was fortunate with David's availability - YMMV. Regardless, I found Vera and David to be very personable, and the quality of the work was as good as it gets. They are now at the top of the list of our plumbing service providers. We really appreciated their efforts - it made a big difference to us today. Thank you!
We had four plumbing issues in our house and David came in and fixed all four in under an hour! They were much less expensive than the last company we used. Very friendly and very professional. We'll be using them for all our future plumbing needs.

My kitchen drains were clogged, my garbage disposal unit no longer worked, and I wanted a new kitchen faucet installed. Austin showed up and took care of all of these items for me in a timely manner for a very reasonable price. It's good to know I can depend on Dave and Austin for all my plumbing needs.

Called to get the annual back flow check the Tucson Water dept requires and get a sink unstopped.
Same day arrival only to be informed on site that they don't do the back flow.
10 min later sink is unstopped and they charge us $150 bucks.
In my opinion NOT worth calling them as they lie on the phone and overcharge. Guess if you're desperate.
I had family in town and this morning after the three kids had their showers my guest room became a lake. I called Day and Knight and within three hours David was here! Thankfully it wasn't as serious as I had feared. David was efficient, friendly and had the repair completed in 15 minutes. I highly recommend this company
and will use them again if needed in the future.
Late review! David and his crew were incredible! He came into my somewhat deconstructed home and was able to see my vision and provide a detailed plan for getting my new plumbing in place. Everything was documented with time/day/cost and I never worried that he wouldn't show up when he said. It was great having him help get things rolling! A year later and everything is running smoothly!!
Awesome plumber, fair and honest! Lots of bad plumbers that charge like they are engineers, you'll appreciate this company for anything plumbing!
