Blue Heron Pools and Spas is a local family owned and operated swimming pool company. We service the Scottsdale and surrounding areas and care about family and community. We will ensure your pool is a safe and fun place to make memories with your family and friends. Though our roots as a company started out in Northern California we have made Arizona our home. We are proud to service all of the Scottsdale, Cave Creek, Carefree and Paradise Valley communities. This is our home and we treat our clients like family. Blue Heron Pools and Spas have become a leader in the swimming pool building and remodeling industry throughout Scottsdale and surrounding areas. We understand how important it is to meet deadlines and communicate with clients throughout a project. We carry a KA-5 Dual swimming pool contractor license, allowing us to handle any residential or commercial swimming pool need.

I have been a business owner since 2005. I have always had an entrepreneurial mindset, wanting to create my own path and dream bigger than anyone else around me. I know anything is possible in life when you put your mind to it. My entrepreneurial journey began at the age of 22 when I started my first company out of Sacramento, California. Over the years I have learned that people value trust, integrity, and reliability; that is what I built my original swimming pool service company on, and continue to instill those values into Blue Heron Pools and Spas. I am dedicated to my business and customer satisfaction. I know what excellent service entails and how hard it is to find. I personally ensure every customer is happy with the service my company provides.

I have been reviewing businesses on yelp for 10 years now, some positive and some not so positive. I have always left specific reasons for my reviews - situations that have occurred to shape my opinions or services that have changed that have helped to shape my reviews. Only recently have my reviews been removed for algorithmic or subjective reasons known only to the IT people at yelp. This concerns me, and should concern you. I will post these concerns across social media starting with this one right here.
In addition, I continue to recommend this business for the reasons I outlined in my original review. To see them, read that, along with the 26 reviews that yelp has refused to post on behalf of this business.

Setup a quote through Yelp and received a quick message back and setup a time. Received a courtesy call from Dustin letting me know he was on his way, and he was right on time. He was very thorough in inspecting the pool and explaining the various packages that Reliable Pool Care offered. I was impressed with offerings, both in level of detail, non-pressure sales techniques, and fair pricing. I signed up and he started on the spot, sent over an agreement that day and signed it all online and setup automatic payments. Couldn't be easier and I highly recommend Reliable Pool Care for someone looking for reliable, no-hassle, affordable pool care service.
Dustin is great! He has be servicing our pool since I bought the house in August and everything has been easy. He will fix things that need fixing and is easy to get ahold of if there is a problem. My pool looks great and he is always very aware of closing the gate which I appreciate.
Reliable Pool Care is very responsive and my pool has never looked better! I'm very happy with the service. I would gladly recommend them. I've had five other pool companies within the last 10 years and I plan on sticking with Reliable Pool Care. Reliable is exactly what they are. Five stars all the way!

We've had a number of pool care companies over the years. Most start off great, then after a few months, the trips get shorter and shorter--when they only come for 5 minutes and ask for $50 or so, that's not OK. Or the owner starts sending a new hire, who just doesn't care.
Not with Dustin. He does all the work. He spends the time he needs to make the pool look right. And he's been doing that consistently for us for years now. Knowledgeable, dependable and fair. Bottom line: hire him with confidence.
I have a unusual pool. I hired this company to maintain it because it was a savings over my contractor. They had trouble cleaning it because they said they don't have portable vacuum and because pool has negative 3 edge no strainer built in. Instead of telling me this they neglected the pool ( spec house) for over two months. I am not a pool guy but was able to sweep and clean pool on my own. Granted it took some time because the pool had been neglected by this service. Going back to more expensive service, they were able to maintain this pool with more care.

Dustin is amazing at making my pool look and feel fantastic! Use this company if you want reliable service!
My husband thought Dustin was a trustworthy individual and hired him to repair our pool; however, little did we know that we were getting ripped off by him. He overcharged us considerably. We found this out after my husband just happened to talk to another pool guy. I would highly recommend getting multiple quotes and not trust this smooth talker at face value! Unfortunately he is making short term money decisions!
Reliable is THE BEST! Dustin is extremely professional, honest, and knowledgeable. He is always quick to respond to any questions I might have and his service is impeccable. He most definitely is RELIABLE. :)

My old pool service just stopped showing up and Reliable Pool Care was the only service I called that could meet a quick turnaround need to have my pool up and running again in no time! They where fast and very reliable... They are now servicing my pool and the upkeep is fantastic. I highly recommend Reliable Pool Care!
I referred some friends to Reliable who recently moved to Scottsdale. Dustin was prompt in his response to their concerns and he was very thorough in his inspection of the pool equipment.
It's always a nice thing to deal with the owner of a small business. They seem to have a passion to help you out while the larger companies push profits over you. This was especially true when Dustin figured out a warranty issue around the existing pool pump.
I recommend Reliable Pool Care.
