HISTORY

Established in 2006.
Contessa Stone Design, a privately-owned business, was started over 10 years ago in Scottsdale Arizona, and is run by a handful of individuals that take a tremendous amount of pride in their work and customer service.

ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER

George Catalano graduated from Colorado State University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. After spending twenty five years in the corporate world, he decided it was time to fulfill some of the items on his life list of to-do's. Always wanting to be a builder, an architect and a designer as well as own his company, he found the perfect company that combines all of the above elements. Having a construction, engineering and sales background has helped tremendously to keep Contessa on the forefront of designs, installation and customer service.

We called George at Contessa Stone to come give us a quote for a new fireplace mantle and overmantle. He came and looked at the fireplace we had and worked with us on a design that both my wife and I loved. He gave us a timeframe for the stone delivery and the installation and Mario who did the installation of the Stone was really great. He truly cared about the work and took his time to make sure it was done right. The whole process was really smooth and any small issues were resolved very quickly. I would definitely recommend George, Mario and Contessa Stone to anyone.
