So I went to Angi's List to get some quotes on my roof repair. I had a couple asphalt tiles slip and one break. They showed up the next day looked at my roof and identified a second area of concern.

They gave me a reasonable quote and left. I called around and got similar quotes but was very happy with.their professionalism and had them return to our house to finish the repair.

I'd say from when I got the quote to completion, it was about 5 hours total time.

I would definitely use them again!!

They respected my time which is rare.

They did a first job for my Gilbert home fine, I moved to Mesa and made an appointment with him again to paint my new house,  no show to the first appointment,. Give him a 2nd chance and he showed up saying he did a lot of job in my area and will give me a quote the next day.  Then nothing.  I texted him just now (3 days later and he responded with he doesn't want the job.  Wasted my time.  Do not recommend him anymore.

Charles Stewart and his team did a great job.  We were in the process of getting a new door.  He told me he could come back and paint the new door after completing the house.  He stuck his word and we appreciate it.  Door and the house look great.  Would definitely use him and recommend him to anyone looking to give their house a fresh new look.  Thanks Charles.

Sure have loved all of the storms our valley has been getting this summer, but the wind finally took its toll on the roof of my patio and needed to be replaced quickly before any rain got in. Charles and Henry were quick to respond and were able to come give me a quote the same day as my incident. Materials were acquired very fast and the job was started within a couple of days. One of the guys from their crew was supposed to come back the following day for some final details and didn't show -- Charles was just a phone call away and fixed the issue immediately. These guys value their clients.

Admittedly I did not do any other shopping around for quotes due to the delicate time constraints of my situation, but the price seemed fair. Some of the wood in my roof was rotting a bit too, and Henry was able to work with us on our total cost just so he could make sure the job was done correctly.

Received 3 quotes and Charles was easily the best.  Initially skeptical but happy we went with him.  His team showed up on time and completed the job in one day like he promised.  His workers were very polite.  The boss of the house gave her approval.  Even came out a couple weeks later to patch and repaint a spot that was caused by me.  Definitely recommending Charles to friend and family.

Charles Stewart had our two story house painted in 24 hours, need I say more? Charles, the owner, was extremely responsive. He schedule an inspection the same day as my inquiry and arrived at our house to give us a quote within the same hour. Charles Stewart is competitive and reasonable with pricing, punctual, and detailed on the job from start to finish. Workers were respectful and returned everything exactly how it was prior. Left me the left over paint. Were very detailed and made sure there were no mistakes left. I found Charles Stewart painting here on Yelp while looking for painting estimates for the exterior of my house. He was quick to respond back, came out the next morning for an estimate. His prices are so good, he's an excellent communicator and he and his team were very professional and did an excellent job. They prepped the house, repaired stucco and painted my entire exterior house and block perimeter wall in one day. The guys were very courteous, polite and experienced! Ive wanted to write maybe 20 reviews in my life and never made the time. this one i am compelled to. I contacted Charles Stewart Painting a few months ago as my home remodel was underway. i contacted him because of the great reviews, which seemingly were on an older yelp profile with many more reviews. also his ability to paint interior and exterior. Now there are only 18 reviews, and no mention of interior on his yelp page. what happened here?

Charles came to my project  to give me a bid, in which i was not present. this bid was for Interior and Exterior paint. he text me the bid all inclusive of both. we agreed on that price. I told him i had doors to stain as well as my vaulted timber truss patios, he said he will throw those in with the price. I then wanted to meet him in person to review the project details and he came then and confirmed his quote, assured me the project would turn out great, assured me he can stain and prep wood, even gives me names of stains he prefers. advised me that he uses dunn edwards paint and that he did not want to start that week on the exterior of the home (which was ready) and said he wanted to do it all at once.
Now that my home is complete, i call him to schedule his services and he sets an apt with me the very next day to bring the contract by. 30 minutes later he texts me and says sorry friend, i spoke to my crew and they are not comfortable doing your project. frustrated, i call him out and he says the text was meant for someone else (which was not true). to save face, and likely try and avoid a bad review, he still came by the home, and after walking the home, again tells me he is not going to do the project and kept saying honestly, i'd be better going with someone else. telling me about all the things he is not good at doing, like priming. His argument is that he doesn't know how to prime and/or paint fresh wood or drywall. he only paints pre-existing paints???? what painter does not feel comfortable priming wood or drywall. that is ridiculous.

Clearly Charles must have not liked his bid and wanted to renig on his offer. He came to the house 3x, knew the entire time that it was fresh wood, fresh stucco and fresh drywall. why now is he not comfortable painting? this home should be a painters dream. There isn't even any masking or covering areas that need protection.

i would not have cared if he retracted his offer the 1st couple days, but now i have turned down or away my other 3 bids, i have let my unfinished cedar wood beams fry in the sun and rain on his advisement, because he didn't' want to stain them and coat them until the inside of the home was ready for paint as well. so i let it sit the last 3 months getting weathered. I have also spent hours at dunn edwards choosing paint colors for him to start next week, because dunn edwards is who he uses. (I dont even prefer dunn edwards). and now he is not doing my project, i am supposed to move into the home in 4 weeks, and have to chase down now 3 more bids since i blew off the last 3 i received.

Cannot rave enough about Charles Stewart and his crew! First, Charles was SO responsive during the whole project and gave me an extremely reasonable quote. Second, they completed the job in 2 days which is really incredible because our house needed lots of stucco repair and it was a lot of square feet to paint. Third, the crew was so nice! I went to them a few times with small requests and they were so pleasant and happy to help in anyway! Last but certainly not least- THE QUALITY. I basically have a brand new house and I'm so so in love! They spent a lot of time on repairing stucco and I really appreciate their hard work. I am beyond thrilled I found him for this project and HIGHLY recommend him to everyone!!! Thanks Charles!!!!!

I chose to go with Charles Stewart for my house painting needs. Out of the four contractors that gave me a quote Charles was the only one that could give me a quote on the spot! The others I had to chase down and repeatedly call for their quotes. His guys showed up and went right to work and they were able to finish in one day. I did run into one problem with an area on the front of my house and as I brought to Charles's attention he did not hesitate and made arrangements on the spot to fix the issue. With him doing such a great job on the house I also had him seal my roof! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Charles Stewart and his team to anyone.

Charles and his team did an outstanding job on our house. They worked fast, but with great attention to detail. They ensured all areas were adequately covered so there was not a drop of paint where it wasn't supposed to be. They went above and beyond and even repainted our backyard door which we didn't expect. Charles was also super easy to work with. He was responsive, accommodating and flexible. I've already recommended him to several people.

Charles Stewart stepped in when someone else who was supposed to help me paint my house ghosted on me. I wasn't prepared to hire a professional painting company, but he worked with my budget and came up with a good solution to get the job done at a very fair market price. It was worth every penny. They got me on their schedule quickly, pressure-washed and prepped the entire house, and did a superior job painting it. I didn't need to ask them back to redo a single thing. Overall, a beautiful job. He's a nice, courteous guy that's easy to work with and talk to as well.

It can be hard to know what you are going to get when you pick a contractor you're not familiar with. I chose the last firm that painted my house from one of those prescreened home-improvement professionals websites and had a bad experience with them. This time I really depended on Yelp reviews when I was doing my search and I can attest that his rating is well-earned. I definitely recommend him.

After receiving numerous quotes by different companies, we settled on Charles' company. We were changing the color of our house drastically, so we were nervous about the whole process. Charles' crew showed up promptly (early even!) and got to work right away. They prepped everything and painted the whole house in one day. Everything was cleaned up at the end. Our house looks amazing and like new!

We are very happy with Charles Stewart and his crew, who painted our home exterior about 2 weeks ago.  I wanted to wait before writing a review, allowing time to more fully assess the job, but feel very comfortable recommending Charles Stewart.

Prior to the work, my first impression was positive.  Charles immediately responded to our inquiry and walked our house within an hour of first contact.  He estimated the job cost, explained the work, scheduled the job for a week away, responded immediately to lingering questions I sent by text, and did the job within the terms of our agreement.  Since completion, I've carefully inspected the work and found no shortcuts or missed areas.  If I find an issue, I really believe Charles would answer promptly and fairly.  

While you may find someone willing to do the job for less money, I was willing to pay a fair price for good work.  I had high expectations and Charles delivered.

Friends and family have complimented the work quality and we recommend Charles Stewart.  If we need interior or exterior painting again in the future, Charles will be our first call.

I could not be happier with their service. After contacting many people at not getting any responses I thought I would send a yelp message. They contacted me right away made an appointment to come out. As I am a homeowner that lives in another state communication is always key and he sent me pictures of some extensive repairs that were needed and did the job the same day for a great price. I very rarely have the time to sit down and write a review, but Henry Stewart (Charles was one heading our project) exceeded our expectations. We needed to get our house repainted per HOA letter so time was of the essence for us. We booked this company on Wednesday (he was in the area finishing up another house so was able to give us a same-day quote), and our house got repainted in ONE day that following Saturday.

The painting team was extremely courteous, asked us what we wanted, and were super quick yet did an amazing job. Charles checked houses in our HOA area to make sure that we were consistent with the color scheme. This little company can seriously HUSTLE. Both my husband and I were impressed.

I had Charles Stewart and his crew paint the exterior of my house.  They did the work about two weeks ago, but I wanted to make sure that there were no issues after the work was done.  From start to finish they were extremely professional, meticulous and did an awesome job.  I have had many compliments from friends as well as other neighbors.  He and his painting crew were easy to communicate with and explained everything in detail.  They were even kind enough to paint the attached patio and outdoor island to match the body of the house.  I highly recommend Charles Stewart for exterior painting.

I sent a quote request around 12 midnight and the owner responded. I didn't expect anyone to reply until morning, yet the owner responded in minutes. Just for that I would hire them. They do mean business just a bummer they don't do interior painting work.

If there was an option for more stars would definitely give extra. Everything quoted about cost and services promised went beyond my expectations were exceeded. Showed at time promised and finished same day. Work was perfect and workers cleaned up better than when they started.

If you are needing you home painted, this is your man!  I'm a hard sell and was skeptical about seeking out a company to paint the exterior of my two-story home.  Charles was pronto about coming out and giving me an estimate.  As soon as he told me, he had a deal!  He said he would take care of me and that I would be happy; I couldn't BE happier!  He used real Dunn-Edward paint; not some cheap substitute.  My house looks outstanding now!  WOW!! Charles did a great job painting the exterior of my home. He was quick to come out and give me a price. I had a couple issues I was worried about; my back drywall ceiling was peeling, wood trim was rough and my house was faded. He explained everything he was going to do and followed through with everything he said. Happy customer here :)

I met Charles last Wednesday morning. He came by that afternoon with a couple of Dunn Edwards sample colors of my color scheme. One was the actual color and the other was the same color but 50% darker, which is what I chose. I hadn't even thought of using the same color and going darker. It really made the bump-outs pop. Charles was prompt and listened to my questions and gave me solid advice. My house was painted this week and looks amazing! He even beat out another painting bid by $400, using premium DE paint. Charles is professional and prompt and stands behind his work. I would definitely recommend Henry Stewart Painting.

The type of honest service I was searching for! Request for quote was responded to very promptly, and work completely very quickly! Mr Stanley explained all of the work my roof required in detail and provided photos before and after the job was complete. Very easy to work and with none of the upselling I've experienced with other contractors. Definitely will recommend to others and use again as needed.

After searching high and low, I'm really happy that we chose Charles Stewart. Charles helped us pick the perfect color for our home and our HOA approved it in 10 minutes. We set up an appointment to have it done. The crews arrived on time and were very professional and courteous. We are really happy with the way everything turned out. If I have to paint another house, I would call up Charles for it.

I hired this company when I met them working on my neighbor' roof . They worked on my roof the same day.  They took pictures of my roof and pointed out a problem area. They also removed 2 old  dishes from my roof and cleared out a clogged gutter. The after photos they showed me looked great . Father and son were polite and pleasant . Henry stated he would return to check on the roof periodically . I'm glad I met them, and I am happy with their work. I would recommend them for any jobs that are needed to be done. The reason I only gave them 4 stars is because I used my credit card , and was charged 3% of the project price. The 3% added another 60 dollars to my already 2,000 bill.

I had Henry paint the exterior of my home along with helping me recoat my patio roof.  Henry was amazing to say the least.  I am an out of state homeowner who was very worried about trying to find the right person to help me paint my property up to code per my HOA.  Spoke with a few different painting company but Henry was the only one who gave me ease over the phone.  He was prompt at answering all my questions, and always responded to my text.  He made me feel at eased and followed through with everything he said he would do.  His price is more than reasonable for the work he does.  He is aware of how HOA like things.  When I had concern's, he even went out of his way to contact the HOA for me to confirm things are done right.  When he was done, he took lots of photos for me.   In this day and age, to find a someone who is honest, does fantastic work, and reliable is almost impossible.  Henry is THAT guy.  A True Gem!  Trust me, you will not regret hiring him.  Thank you so much Henry!!

I just had the exterior of my house and my front door painted by Charles Stewart and his workers. They did an incredible job, and my house looks beautiful! I highly recommend them!!

WOW!!!!! Henry and his son painted the exterior of our home this past week and i can't stress enough how pleased we are. Between the workmanship and attention to detail they made the process seamless. My wife had been struggling with color choice, but only to be helped narrow down our choice by Henry's son Charles he had great insight and a phenomenal eye for color. A+++ all around, fast, effiecent and timely, would gladly and look forward to working with these guys again in the future.

Henry's  son Charles just finished painting our 5200 square foot home with four different colors in Vintage Ranch.  They did a fantastic job!  They are on time, worked very hard and did an excellent job.  Our house needed several coats in several places and they painted it until it was right. They fixed all the cracks and covered the lights, speakers and security cameras.  There wasn't any overspray even with all the plants around the house. We had bids from other painters and Charles price was much better. I would highly recommend them!!!

We needed our roof to get patched and coated, Henry responded to our request for an estimate promptly and came out to assess within a few days. His estimate was cheaper than the others we got, and at the end he maintained the quoted price. The job was done fast and professionally, highly recommended.
