It's been two years since Jesus provided an estimate for some additional custom layout cabinets to expand upon existing kitchen cabinetry that had been completed in the recently renovated home we purchased. As Better Homes had performed the original installation we were pleased to get the contact information and even more pleased with how the end product perfectly matched my specifications. Additionally, the work was completed timely and within budget. Now that my son and his wife are looking to have some work done in their home, I did not hesitate to recommend Jesus and company.

Bill incorrectly measured and so in order to have my cabinets go to the ceiling, I had to have four inches of spacers. The spacers don't match the cabinet doors. This is causing my new white cabinets to look like they have dirty doors. The soft close feature is junk! Not at all like the quality in the showroom. Do not be duped. My kitchen design was such that my very expensive pantry cabinet door bangs against the counter when you open it to use the pullout shelves. Shade variety when you have painted cabinets normal. Cabinets bang countertops by design! That's their position. If I could give them zero stars, I would. Very disappointed.

Nice looking, favorably-priced import cabinets from China.  Owner, Bill also said all cabinets were in inventory and ready for installation within 4 weeks.   As a GC, we were hopeful to begin doing business with Better Homes Cabinets & Granite per an immediate, and upcoming projects.  Then Bill told us that his Company's policy is 100% payment upfront to place orders.   We offered 50% down, and 50% upon delivery.  Bill rejected it.  We offered to escrow the money with Better Homes Cabinets & Granite's bank.  Bill rejected this offer, suggesting we review his many favorable references.   Indeed we did as the majority of references were anything but favorable.  Now we understand why he requires customers to pay 100% upfront, before receiving or having the cabinets installed.   Be smart, read the reviews before making any payments.

Poor response time, cabinets came in damaged. Still not repaired.  Will not install pulls this time but they did on my kitchen.  Try ikea.  Better quality, better value, better price.

These people are switch and bait scammers.  Worst than a cringe worthy used car salesman!  They advertise whole slabs for sale but only offer over inflated pre fab options.  

These people should be ashamed of themselves for all the ads they post on facebook.  Scammers

Don't even go here the people are a bunch of creeps. I was walking through the granite area and a previous customer must have left a granite slab setting on it's 1 1/2 side straight up. So I walk by it my pants micro touched it. It fell and shattered. I didn't even see it was on its edge. Then immediately 4 men blocked the doors and one grumpy guy demanded I pay for it. I explained what happened and they didn't believe it. It's was clear I didn't even handle it or notice it as they were watching me walk around. But they all kept me there hostage until I payed for the slab. A bunch of horrible people. I guess they're so broke with the seconds and dated product they need every penny to survive.

From design through installation, Better Homes did an excellent job.  All of the installers were on time and did excellent work.  Their lead time from order to installation was weeks shorter than other companies.

Honestly, avoid this place if you can.  We spent over $10k with them, ordering cabinets and countertops for our entire house. We provided detailed specs for all of our appliances, only to discover after they've been installed, that our appliances don't fit. Like how on earth do they get that wrong?!  Amazingly their sales guy has the most arrogant and dismissive customer service disposition, for someone representing a cabinet business that can't even get their dimensions accurate.  Now that we've pointed out the errors and asked that they make it right, they stop returning phone calls or emails.

Customer service was awful. They show up one day to install and then disappear for 5. Then lie to me and say they can't get ahold of the installer. He was on other jobs.
The sales guy Bill is rude. Not easy to work with. Very intimidating.
I signed off on my granite paperwork with an 11 bar overhang and they gave me 5. They want me to pay to have it enlarged. WTH?

Used this company twice.  Once to redo our entire kitchen.  Some problems, but not bad and would have recommended them.  The 2nd time we used them, it was for two bath vanities and a linen closet.  The sales guy measured a built-in linen closet cabinet TWICE on 2 different visits (7 feet tall and 3 feet wide)

When the cabinets arrived the linen closet cabinet was only 30 INCHES WIDE!  We called him and said we wanted a 'replacement' not a shrunk cabinet with spacers on each side which reduces the storage by tons of cubic feet.  He said they don't make 'custom' cabinets as we thought...they only came in certain widths.  We insisted on the proper size and he got angry and said OK, I'LL HAVE THEM MAKE A SPECIAL ONE FOR YOU and basically hung up.  We will not recommend this company.

I got a quote from this place for Kitchen cabinets, vanities & granite..... I was generously (cough)  given the contractors discount of 40%.  However .... The quote was very padded!  I was being charge to turn kitchen cabinets into bathroom vanities,  3 vanity cabinets the same size but 1 was $53.95 more than the other 2, toe kicks over over charged based on several other quotes,  scribe over charged based on several other quotes, 27 x $39.00 for installing cabinets & molding (I have 18 cabinets... don't think molding should cost $39.00 per item to install)
Oh and then there is the granite counters.  Once again given the 40% discount (cough-cough) I was told everything's included in the square foot prefab price #1 3colors to choose from $39.00 per sq ft.  Padding $600.00 for 4 cutouts, plywood charge, and it goes on... so although I didn't use them, I still felt I had to give a review.  I actually like the cabinets.  If I go in and call BullShit on the padding... then what do you get? Better service? I should have gotten that the first time!!!!

We purchased a complete cabinet and granite set from these guys. All new cabinets, sink, granite the works. We also put in 4 brand new SS appliances to complete it.

The cabinets were good quality although not exactly as described. The rear of some cabinets was not solid plywood as claimed but framed with plywood and had a thinner plywood as filler. Overall the cabinet quality is good even though it's all from China. The 2 corner lower Lazy Susan cabinets have a very narrow opening and we could not get most of the larger pots that would normally be stored here into the cabinets. Granite was a real shocker as it was even thinner than the usual 2mm stuff. Ours was 1.5mm thick which is too thin for serious durability concerns. The sink was awesome and very thick HD stainless. So overall we gave the materials a Good rating granite excepting. These dimension issues and key points were more or less glazed over and not brought to our attention otherwise we would have done something different.

Now for the more serious issues that ruined it for us. The installation was botched in so many ways it's hard to list them all. Cabinets were not level. They were not matched from left to right. Left side further out from the wall than the right side by about 1/2. The lower range slot did match with the upper range slot for over range microwave mounting. Off by 1/2 to the right. Upper cabinets were not level with each other. Larger gaps between doors at the top vs gaps at the bottom. Adjusted the doors to make it look okay. A Level was not used for this job for the most part. Once granite was set all the cabinet misalignment issues were set and could not be fixed. Lower corner cabinet not flush in corner and was 1/2 further out from the wall which created misalignment for plumbing stub outs under sink. Pipes now in the space of the side panel on under sink cabinet. Instead of resetting the cabinet properly, the rear middle 1/3 of entire corner was sawed out to make room for this mistake. The list goes on unfortunately....when we put the backsplash in, the glass mosaic tile lines could not match up left to right. So we have a sort of wave in the backsplash behind the range. Tile guy did the best he could but you just can't hide 1/2 height misalignment from left to right using geometric tiles. The range helps hide it but it's botched.

My recommends are to get the cabinets from these guys but don't trust them to install it. The base mistakes in our installation compounded into other problems throughout the whole job. What should have been a great complete kitchen remodel turned out to look like a bunch of amateurs that watched a You Tube video do the job. I probably could have done better myself. We shopped a lot before making this purchase but no way to foresee this outcome. Buyers beware.

So just got granite installed where my installer purchased prefabbed countertops from this place.  Everything looked great initially but once all lights were on , we noticed dull lines on the face of the granite well beyond where the edges were finished.   Some are an inch on the surface and others are 3 inches in.  My installer called to see what can be done.  Long story short, they do not stand behind the granite they sell and weren't willing to help with the situation (even offering a single suggestion other than not our problem). Warning to all, make sure you or your installer brings a bucket of water, granite cleaner and polish with them to inspect every millimeter because once it leaves their business, it is no longer their responsibility.

This is the best place in Phoenix to buy pre-fab slabs of granite/stone for countertops. They have a great selection and great prices. When you buy pre-fab granite it comes with a finished edge so it makes fabrication a lot less expensive. They have a good stock on hand so if you need something quick, there is a good chance that they've got it!

I've never used them for cabinets, but the quality definitely seems to be nice and their work speaks for itself. Check out their showroom - You'll be glad you did!

I needed a granite top for my bathroom remodel.  I found these guys and decided to use them for my bathroom vanity granite top.  I worked with Bill and told him that I did not need a granite backsplash that I would be doing a tile back splash and the counter top should be cut closer to the wall to accommodate that.  They were very quick. I ordered the counter top Wednesday and they installed it Friday.  Great service there.  The problem came in on the install.  The installer left a huge gap almost half inch on both sides of the counter which there is no way the tile will cover that.  They also left a huge gap in front which cannot be covered up at all.  The granite looked beautiful but the gaps ruin the look totally.  I am so disappointed.  The only solution I was offered by better homes was change the color of the caulking?????  Gee isn't a wide ugly caulk line a wide ugly caulk line no matter what color it is???.

I'm very impressed with Better Homes Cabinets and Granite. I had a two week period to remodel a home and they delivered!

The birch shaker cabinets I selected look great and the construction is solid. The doors are solid wood and the boxes are plywood. A lot of the other companies I checked out used MDF for the construction - at a higher price.

The kitchen looks fantastic. They made some great suggestions about making minor adjustments to improve the layout and functionality of the kitchen. From sales to installation, I was very pleased with the entire process.  Highly recommended!

Exceptional pricing, quality cabinets and highly-skilled contractors.  We had them replace our kitchen and bathroom cabinets.  They completed the install of the cabinets and granite in four days and went out their way to ensure we were satisfied.

They were professional, courtesy and accommodating at all times.

Best quality custom cabinets for good price. Even better deals for contractors and their customers. Our order was ready a day ahead of schedule. Staff was knowledgable, helpful and courteous. Would have given 10 stars if it was available.

The guy is a condescending jerk and thinks he owns the world he thinks he's the best at what he does and I think he is probably the worst in fact I don't think I've been treated so bad by anybody in my life

I have bought cabinets here several times in the last four years.  They have been fair, honest and timely.  They can provide cabinets in several quality levels and service you don't get at warehouse or national chain type stores.
