Arizona Solar Wave

Back in 2018, I started looking into putting a solar system on my home.  I chose Arizona Solar Wave based on their reviews and I have never had any regrets.  The install was smooth and any issues were always addressed immediately.  
Fast forward to 2021 and we moved out of Arizona for nearly a year.  Even before we got back to AZ, we called Brad directly to set things into motion for a solar system for the new house we purchased.  Again, everything went smoothly, everyone I've met during this process has been wonderful.  From start to finish, the whole process took 93 days and we turned our system on today!
I had a terrible experience with a different solar company while I was living out of state and they were a nightmare to work with.  

We are so happy to be back in Arizona and enjoying another Arizona Solar Wave system.

I checked into solar several times over the years but wasn't willing to risk damage to my roof for less than $100 net savings per month. This year I checked a few companies and AZ Solar Wave was almost $20K less expensive than the other company I was considering. That's right $20,000 less. I had read on many reviews for many companies that people had to wait really long times to get on the grid after initial install, some paying their solar loans for 6 months or more before seeing any gains from solar. I also was expecting my solar to take a long time for install simply because the supply chain is so jacked up. Not so. My system was fully installed and on the grid in right around 60 days. I was seeing the benefits from solar for 2 months before my first payment.

The initial sales guy and Brad (who managed the installation) were both very knowledgeable and patient. I'm a numbers person and they didn't bore me with a lot of stuff I already knew. They ran different numbers for me using various parameters, and I really understood what I was getting and why and what the expected return would be.

I also was impressed by the financing they offered. The federal rebate is significant, and they arranged financing that automatically refinances after that rebate is received and sunk back into the loan. So, you don't have to pay interest on the rebate part for the life of the loan. And the interest rate was quite low. I couldn't be happier with the entire process.

I'm 2 months in now and am already seeing really significant savings. On my first bill (which was partial solar) I saved about $75. My second bill looks like it will be about $150 less than last year's at this time. Brad really helped us figure out where the sweet spot for savings would be and things we could do to reduce our reliance on electricity - further bringing down our costs, like doing laundry off-peak and switching our pool pump to a variable one. Managing the early evening hours is our biggest challenge, but we are making great strides and expect to see even greater savings next month when the heat really gets scorching.

I couldn't be happier with our system, our education, and the customer service provided.  The system works great. I was kept informed every step of the way and every question was answered quite quickly. I highly recommend these guys.

Arizona Solar Wave was amazing throughout the entire process of purchasing, installing and setting up the solar panels on my home! There was a TON of background work that they complete with permits and information with APS. They make the process very smooth and based on my research and quotes, they were very competitive with pricing and the best quality of solar panels out there. They have amazing warranty also. I strongly suggest you give them a call and hear how educated they are on their products and process.

5 stars, start to finish.  Brad and team took us from zero to
solar in under a month.  We sat with at least 10 solar companies and listened to their offering.  

Our sales representative, Michael, was far and away the best we encountered.   This was not a 'sale', this was an educational session.  He spent no less than 2 hours with us during our first consultation.  All of our questions were answered thoroughly with proposal modification done on the fly to model out different scenarios.  He also explained the tax credit very concisely.  Something to be sure that's understood before making the investment.  

The warranty coverages provided are very straightforward, unlike other companies who use a third party provider.   Highly suggest reading all fine print.  One company uses a third party that assumes ownership of any parts requiring replacement.  Even the sales representative of this company was not aware of this fine print.  

Once we decided to move forward with AZ Solar Wave, our experience was seamless.  Other than our consultation, only interaction was with Brad, the installation team, and the gentleman who turned on the system.  No 3rd parties, no dealing with SRP, they handled it all.  

The installation crew worked extremely hard to ensure we were satisfied with placement of all conduit, while remaining within code.  I had several requests on conduit routing and they were more than accommodating.  

Once we were up and running, Brad made sure we understood how to best manage our demand so that we could maximize our system from day one.  

I was very skeptical at the outset of our solar journey.  Hats off to Arizona Solar Wave for being such a great partner.  Highly recommend considering a consultation if you are in the mark for solar.

I am completely satisfied with the service from start to finish from Arizona Solar Wave.  Everything went according to plan,  Brad was great at keeping us informed.  After installing the panels I was there for the Maricopa inspection.  The inspector told me he was impressed with the work that was done.  Everything was signed off immediately.  The srp rep who did the final install also commented on the quality of workmanship.   I have and will continue to recommend ASW to all my friends and anyone that asks.   Our system is top notch.  Start to finish.

Over the last 5 years, I've interviewed at least a dozen solar providers - one thing ALL of them had in common was the need to OVERSELL the level of equipment necessary for our home. All of them making huge, unfounded claims. Many of them had been licensed under a prior business name that had closed due to false promises and poor service. I was about to give it up when I met Michael Bradley. He wasn't a salesman, he was like a friend. My wife and I pulled the trigger, and we are so elated that we did. Mike introduced us to Brad, who stayed in constant contact with us through the entire process, answering all of our concerns - we never felt so cared for. Then we met Ricky - top notch. From beginning to end, this has been extremely smooth. I cannot recommend any other solar companies, but I can, and will be recommending Arizona Solar Wave & Energy to all of my friends and colleagues. I had a really positive experience with this company. They gave me the best price I could find on my solar system. They used the best looking all black 300 panels instead of the 280 black and silver ones. Rating the company low because of the financing isn't fair to the company and the quality of their work. With that said the Solar Loan I received was a great deal through Mosaic. I can only speak for the work they did on my house with solar but the guys were all good. The system was put in as scheduled. The communication was good. APS activated my system in less than 45 days. The owner is a mechanical engineer and he was able to answer the most complex questions I had. I did a lot of research before I chose this company, you also need to be an informed consumer as not all deals are good.

You are better off contracting the solar hot water work directly with the contractor and save a lot of money. I do not feel like I got much for $13k. DO NOT sign up for the GreenSky Financing of 18 mos No Payments. You can refi that loan but if you do not a $13k loan will have $4k of back interest put on it at 18 mos turning it into a $17k loan and then they will add $249.00 mo interest for every month it is not paid off on top of the $17k !!! Imagine how much harder it will be to pay off that shark loan when $249 is added to the balance every month. I feel it is extremely greedy to use this loan as a closing tool.

Me and my wife had great experience they came when they said they would they explained how the work would be done at what times and day they were very professional about all the work that was done and the system they installed is working just like they told us it would we are seeing savings every month we would recommend this company to our friends and relatives

We recently had a solar hot water system installed and some home weatherization work (duct sealing, insulation) done in our home to fix some problems that they had identified and we were very impressed with the professionalism and quality of workmanship.  I track our power usage daily and I am already seeing a dramatic drop in usage!  I would recommend them to everyone.

If I could rate this company no stars I would.  This place is a complete joke and I have no idea how they can run a business like this.

It all started that I received a coupon from my RO service company for a free home energy audit through Arizona Solar and Wave.  I scheduled the appointment, explained that I needed it as late as possible because my husband works nights and sleeps days.  Latest they could do was 11:00.  So, then the guy calls at like 9:30 saying he'd be here in about 5 minutes.  I told him no, I scheduled it for 11:00, and I needed it to stay at 11:00.  He was very nice and that was fine.  They did the assessment, gentleman was VERY nice (only good thing I have to say).  I get told they'll call me in a week to schedule a time for someone to come out, takes 20-30 minutes or sometimes they will go over it over the phone if it isn't too long and involved.

A week later a girl calls to schedule the appointment to come out.  I asked if they could do it over the phone, she said no because they like to walk the house with you.  Okay, I can understand that.  So, she says, "When would be a good time for you and your husband?"  I let her know that my husband is a police officer, works nights, sleeps days, goes to school full time, has volunteer obligations, and periodically gets called out, I cannot guarantee that he is going to be here.  She goes on and on about how we BOTH MUST be here.  I told her that if that was the case then I'd have to cancel the whole thing and forget it.  She then tells me she is new and has to get permission, after 20 minutes of having me on the phone she calls back and says it is okay if it's just me.  We schedule for 3:00 pm a little while later.

That day comes around, I have purposely not scheduled my son's doctor's appointment for that time and instead pushed it out a couple of days, purposely not scheduled my volunteer shift because they were coming, basically changed my schedule to be able to meet with them.  I then get a call at 11:00 in the morning, I wasn't home, gentleman leaves a message saying he's calling to go over the report with me.  WHAT??  They're supposed to BE HERE in a few hours.  So, I call back, he goes over it over the phone with me saying he has an appointment in a few minutes in the northwest valley (I am in the southeast valley) and he couldn't possibly be here by 3:00 as they take 2-3 HOURS (what happened to the 20-30 minutes they originally told me????)  He blows through it over the phone and then wants to schedule yet another appointment to give a presentation on how we can get SRP rebates, etc.  I schedule it for a Friday and he says something about me and my husband.  I again say that I went through this before, I cannot guarantee my husband will be here and I get told very nasty. "Well, I'm not driving all the way out there if it's just going to be you."  

Now, I don't know what kind of a scam this is, but if he thinks I'm going to sign on the dotted line and hire him regardless of if my husband is here or not he's sadly mistaken.  I was also told by SRP I can go with any of their contractors it does NOT have to be the one who did the inspection.  At this point, pigs will fly before I hire these folks.  I called the company to find out what happened to my appointment to which I was told, he asked this gentleman to call me because he was told I didn't want anyone coming to the house (no, I said my husband wouldn't be here), so he asked him to call me.  If that's the case, why did they not call to CANCEL the appointment????  Glad I rearranged my schedule for them to come when they're now not coming and now I'm running behind with other obligations because I had a "phone conference" at a time that I was not expecting.

I smell scam, or pushing their services on me, or pushing me to hire them and not someone else, or SOMETHING fishy.  BEWARE!  I have now filed a complaint against them via SRP because something isn't right.

Just had a solar hot water system installed as well as duct sealing and insulation. The crews  were very knowledgeable  and took the time to answer questions and explain what they were doing. They were also on time and did a nice job of cleaning up when they were finished.
