Az Foundation Solutions is very professional and very detailed oriented. Michael Thompson did an extensive evaluation of our home's foundation inside and out. He provided three options to resolve our issue.
He was very professional and respectful of our time. His presentation was excellent as well as answering all our questions completely... A++ highly recommended.

Not feeling good about hiring this firm. I contacted the City and was told that no inspection was scheduled, so I had to schedule this in order to clear the permit.  Very costly to do these repairs.  They will create a sense of urgency but a good painter probably would have been a better use of my money for this job. But, AFS has already taken my money.  I feel that I did not get what the salesman sold me.  !!!Buyer beware and read everything closely.

This company This company performed foundation repair work on my residence in 2014 and again in 2021. The work done has largely failed and foundation problems persist. They were paid $50,000 in 2014 and $50, 000 in 2021. Prior to purchasing the home, I spoke with Victor Rivera, at the company and asked if all the necessary work had been done and should I expect additional problems. He said everything was good. The work came with a warranty and I was assured the house was rock solid. Within a couple of months of purchase I requested a meeting with the company and Victor came out and reviewed a report indicating that the foundation was stable. He just wanted to sell me $31000 of poly for the floor. We were noting issues under the floor and separation of the counter top and wall. He told me these were not serious problems. The problems have continued and have gotten much worse. I have asked for records of all the work done and only yesterday received them the 2021 records after a month. I still do not have the 2014 records.
It took 2 months of phone calls to the company before I met with a representative, Cam Altree, the only employee with integrity. He listened and took my concerns seriously. He checked back to see if I was satisfied and when I told him i was not, he kept trying to help. Tom Cox is the guy that was assigned to my concerns. He takes days to answer texts and is impossible to get on the phone. He has confused me with other clients and even thinks I am Someone named Terry (I am Barbara). He tells me that info will be coming in a few days...but it does not. Cam got me the records for the 2021 work...again the guy with integrity.
We paid $490,000 for this house and never would have bought it if we knew that Arizona Foundation Solutions Warranty is a Sham. Does Bob Brown even exist? They obviously do not care about past customers, unless they think they can get more money. I would not give this unscrupulous company another nickel.

I had this company out for an estimate a few years ago and then again recently since I am now really ready (funded) to do the job.   I was really happy with the estimating process (was free) a few years ago; the salesperson/estimator was very professional, thorough, took pictures/measurements, and responded with a reasonably complete looking proposal.  I felt trust because he had spent some time really looking at the issue.

Fast forward to now.  A different salesperson/estimator came out to give me a (free) estimate; the initial email said that the average time is 90 minutes.  The salesperson who came this time spent about 5 minutes barely looking at my home and suggested that I pay $500ish for an engineering analysis so that I could get an accurate quote.  Anyway, I did get a new proposal, which looked like a WAG; it was missing items that were in the original quote and had a lot of bid required as opposed to actual estimate.

I want to move forward and repair the issue but I can't really see a way forward with what was provided to me.  I've had a lot of home remodeling done on my home, but this is an odd scenario.

Maybe the person that came out recently was either too busy or new (so maybe not enough knowledge?).   I've been reading the reviews and I suspect that the people who are giving reasonably good reviews probably had a decent person out to do their initial estimate and the people who are giving low reviews probably had someone like the recent guy that came out (who just seemed to want to sell engineering services; maybe he didn't really understand the job?).   It seems like both my experiences are both reflected in the reviews.

Just a note because I haven't had any work done so no actual experience, the reviews show a lot of disconnect in the different departments (making even otherwise satisfied customers comment on getting somewhat of a run-around).

We discovered that our house was cracking in half and one side falling down the hill. This was almost a year and a half ago now. After calling around I was able to get AFS to come out to our house. Brian Guthrie has been our contact person and he has been excellent, really outstanding throughout our entire ordeal. Initially I thought he was solely the sales rep but he has taken so much more responsibility and has been essentially an acting manager for us coordinating the various services. He is the only person on the business side of things who cared and went above and beyond.
We had to get radon tubes put in because the foundation was cracked and letting radon in through our slab foundation. That department was ok. One of the two guys who came out was really good- fyi had to fix what the first guy thought he did right. Then the foundation piers got put in. That team was excellent, experienced and efficient. Also did a great job with concrete work. Then the poly and crack stitching people came in. There was a female contractor who lead this (Sandra or Sally?) who was outstanding in her knowledge and technique and work ethic. Then moisture barrier people came in to waterproof our crawl space. This all took months of coordination.
Getting into the downside- so the different divisions of the company seem to work separately and get paid separately without knowledge of or really caring about the other services. It has been sometimes impossible to reach anyone at the main line listed even if you go through the phone chain. The accounting person called me to ask for the balance payment on the radon tubes when their electrician hadn't even come out yet to install outdoor outlets to hook up the tubes. She said he was contracted out and they had to get him to drive down from Phoenix. No scheduled date yet but she wanted the remainder of the balance because THEIR part was done and got very snarky and rude when I told her I would pay the entire balance the minute their outsourced electrician came out and hooked it up and the job was actually complete. Then another time they messed up the accounting and wanted me to pay for ventilation tubes that hadn't even been installed yet and wouldn't look into the itemized order to correct. Brian called them and explained and he finally got them to correct it. Overall I think each individual service did a good job but they need to improve their accounting and internal coordination/communication.

This is one of the worst companies I've dealt with in a long time. I paid over $26K for foundation raising and cement leveling. As a bonus I received the privilege of being delayed, ignored, brushed off, and lied to. It started with the hard sell from their salesperson...you only get a discount if you sign a contract today. They were backed up so far that it took over 6 months for them to get to my project. I reported concerns about a bulge in the side of my house, cracks in the stucco, and large cracks in the garage about 9 months later. I had to call and email several times to get someone to talk to me about the issues. I was assigned a warranty rep, Tom Cox, who regularly doesn't return calls, texts, or emails and has a 1,000 excuses about why he's not responding. He said they had to send someone out to rerun the level test and that I had to pay for it. Then nothing for weeks. After a couple of months of chasing him, he came out to my house for 5 minutes took pics and left. Finally, I received a message that their engineering department didn't find anything wrong despite the obvious damage. After chasing him again, he finally came out for 5 minutes and took more pics followed by a couple of weeks of nothing. Once I ratcheted up the pressure, I received a new message that according to their engineers nothing was wrong. They refused to send an actual engineer out to look at the problems. I asked several times to speak with the owner which were ignored. When I threatened to file a lawsuit and complaints against their license, their head engineer and their customer service manager reached out and offered me $300 to go away. I rejected the offer and told them I was filing complaints if the owner didn't call me within 24 hours. Bob Brown finally called and gave me a story about how nothing is wrong. I explained that the damage they had done might cause a problem when I tried to sell my house. He said that he would write a letter stating that nothing was wrong. The letter was intentionally misleading, filled with inaccuracies and statements of self-protection. He refused to correct the letter. It took 4 1/2 months from the time I reached out about the issues to get this far. How can I trust anything this company or the owner says? This company claims to provide excellent service. It's a lie. I suggest that you stay far away. Find a company that is responsive and stands behind their work.

***STAY AWAY***

They should remove the word Solutions from their name. That is far from what they provide.
I started the process with Arizona Foundation solutions back in May of 2021 to fix a retaining wall/foundation. After meeting with the sales person they did let me know that they can proceed with engineering the solution. After about 30 days I met with the sales person again so he could present the solution and take a deposit. I agreed to the option they offered and they stated I would be on the calendar to be completed before December 2021.

During the permitting process there were items that came up that were needed from me directly by the county. These items were provided. After these items were provided I had not been contacted by anyone at the company to schedule the repair. At at the same time I was told by the county that Arizona Foundation Solutions was needing more engineering from me to complete the job. Obviously this was concerning as I should have heard about this directly from the company I was spending ten's of thousands of dollars with. However it was crickets.

After reaching out to the sales person by call, text, email with no response before the holidays, I gave him the benefit of the doubt and waited until after the holidays and tried again with no avail. I then was put in contact with the Area Sales Manager whom after a week reviewed everything and let me now that the project they had in their hands for 7-8 months now was unfortunately out of scope for their company to complete and said they would be refunding me my deposit. I questioned how was this job reviewed and drawn out by an engineer and yet its somehow not able to be completed by them?
Another week went by and the same manager contacting me and let me know that the owner reviewed and said they would solve this and get the job completed. I mistrustfully agreed for them to continue. After waiting another 2 weeks with no communication, I reached back out only to find out they were wrong and actually could not come up with a solution and would be refunding me my deposit (again).

I waited another 2 weeks for my check to come in the mail and then called again to now find out they sent the check to a wrong address and would need to cancel that check and send out another. I asked for them overnight the check for my inconvenience and the refused to as this was an additional cost that had to be approved.

Throughout the most recent 2 months I tried to get the owners (Bob Brown) attention by phone/email to discuss my entire situation and was told he was in meetings 10/10 times I called. I was FINALLY able to get him to call back once I called every hour on the hour same day.
As I expressed to the owner, the incompetency and ignorance starts at the top at his company. Not only was the communication poor at best during my dealings, the fact that an apologize nor any remorse was expressed on how my customer service experience was.

A few key items to any contracting/construction work is setting expectations, communication, and follow through. NONE of which was provided by Arizona Foundation Solutions. This type of work is extremely costly and any company completing it should be handling their customers with at least some respect while they spend a price of a new car or part of a college tuition on.

How to make thousands off of evaluating peoples foundation without a real solution.

*Send smooth talking sales men who have seen it all or say they have...

*Avoid pinpointing any one issue (make it seem like everything can be one)

*Use scare tactics

We were dupped!  Arizona Foundation Solutions uses scare tactics by sending out their sales team to evaluate your foundation issue. However, the person they send doesn't actually fix, treat, or do anything more then scare you into paying upfront to schedule with another person (who also is not an engineer) to take measurements and provide an expansive book to convince you to do their most expensive plan to fix your foundation. Because if you don't do this with them, you will have big issues!
So, thats what happened my husband called Arizona Foundation Solutions. They schedule with us a week and a half later, to come out and look at the crack that had come from a hot water leak we fixed in our slab floor. Well, of course this salesman took a look around the perimeter of the house and found other major issues! He convinced us to pay 50% $242.50 upfront (non-refundable!) to schedule again and get measurements done so they could identify the situation.
Well, luckily we smartened up, before our next visit where we were to pay another $250 (mind you before we got anything in hand or any answers at all!) we did research. We found a foundation guy that has been doing this for years, identifies, and does the work most times himself. But I want to point out how important it is to have an expert who is familiar with the work themselves because they  do it. Well guess what, he took measurements  ON THE SPOT and found that we were in no imminent danger, and to monitor a few spots. We're going to fix the floor crack with him to ensure our new floors lay properly and doesn't continue to spread (for a very small cost). But ultimately he was truthful, knowledgeable, and was able to give me immediate answers, without scaring me for money. It cost me nothing to diagnose it. Did you hear that?!? It was FREE!!! In fact he said I would have to do this anyway to determine the issue. What? Yes! Finally! Why couldn't Arizona Foundation Solutions do that? He gave us so much great (real) knowledge and answers for free! and it means we can move forward with the other work we planned on doing to the house.

If you want to throw your money away for no answers then contact them. You will be sure to have a salesman come to your house and act like it's October 31st. You will get the scare of a lifetime.

Arizona Foundation Solutions if you want to prove you are not an untrustworthy company. Why would you need a non-fundable deposit to even get someone out to take measurements?? Give me the $242.50 you stole from me! You diagnosed and did absolutely NOTHING!

We had helical piers installed a few years ago, it took forever to get the project started, when it was finally finished the guy that set the whole thing up contacted me for the deposit I gave him months prior that had cleared already.  They never followed up like they said they would.

I have no idea how Rosie on the House could suggest them.

We are now having issues and will be looking for foundation experts with a clue, it ain't these guys.

If you want to literally throw thousands of dollars into the trash, this is who you contact. Like the previous review said, they use scare tactics and cunning salesmen to convince you that your house will fall to the ground if you don't immediately invest in their extremely expensive measures. Get a second opinion from AZ Foundation Works or someone else, and they will tell you that it's not nearly as serious nor as urgent as AFS made it seem.

It was such a pleasure to do business with a professional Company. From my initial call to the price quote scheduling and finally the repair needed on our foundation. I'm sure you all are all tired of the excuse of well it's COVID that caused the poor service.  This Company did their job and well without one mention of COVID.  YEAH.  KUDOS TO BEING THE BEST.  I had other quotes and I'm very happy I chose ARIZONA FOUNDATION SOLUTIONS.

Buyer beware!
We had the engineer come out and provide us with a very informative report; followed up by sales to discuss and sell their system. Because of the signing discount we moved forward providing a sizable deposit. We made a decision to attack the root cause which was our landscaping then watch and make a decision regarding their system. Since May we have been trying to cancel and refund our $1,000. deposit! Several phone calls later we started to paper trail our requests via email. Everybody is looking into it and will send to accounting etc. For such a large supposedly successfully company I don't see what the problem is. Are they having financial trouble?
A review is my attempt after several months to get some action from the company. This is unacceptably poor service!
9-2 Update
Had a conversation with a manager: although we verbally cancelled, the office manager verbally said she would follow up with accounting to refund our deposit. Several emails in which everybody said yeah we'll get this taken care of. Please send us a written request and we'll get it taken care of. Well,  when you sign the contract there is a three day cancellation period and even though we cancelled verbally and it was accepted it was not honored. We have received no goods or services from this company. They refuse to stand by what their employee said and further refuse to refund our 1,000.00
Again buyer beware!!!
9-10-20 response to Az Foundations
A: your salesman did not discuss any cancellation policies with us and B: I spoke with him the following day and his cell phone. Maybe those calls should be recorded as well. After MONTHS of emails of sending it to accounting to process; nothing. Not one thing was scheduled with us. When they called to schedule, we reiterated our cancellation.
I understand contracts; I also understand they can be amended. Unfortunately we signed without  realizing or being advised of the cancellation policy and cancelled verbally and didn't send it in writing during that 3 day window.

Buyer: Make sure you know what you want and make sure you read every word of the contract before signing.

Good luck with these people. Shoddy work and no follow up. They put up gutters 6 months ago and are being replaced by another company today. They never follow up and when they do their response is laughable.
They were referred by family who are quite embarrassed by recommendation. They get one star because a quarter star not an option.

Great experience, from the consulting to inspection to job well done.  They gave us detailed info, options, and got the job done faster than even planned.  Pls be patient with scheduling, like many companies, they are scheduling out far.  But they do stay in touch about any changes.  Left my place clean and were very polite.  Also wore masks and kept safe practices.

We needed a professional to diagnose and repair several cracks in the tile floor of our casita.  AFS was immediately responsive..  They provided a structural floor survey and diagnosed the problem, pinpointing those foundation issues which needed to be addressed while reassuring us that potential larger issues were not of concern.  AFS then outlined the needed repair, provided a referral to a flooring expert to assist and promptly scheduled and repaired the problem.  They were professional and reasonable in their approach and fees.  Much more so than the competition.   For foundation problems look no further.  Highly recommend.

After they called to reschedule on a Friday, they sent a follow up email to confirm my original appointment the next Monday.  I responded to ask if anything had changed, and they told me that they still couldn't hold my original appointment.  If you can't make the appointment and I told you to cancel the appointment days before, why in the hell are you still emailing me?

They had someone call me back after I told them how horrible they are at communication, but no one could be so bothered as to honor my original appointment.  The manager who called me back said they were double booked, but they could not explain why it took them two weeks to realize this.  I told them that they can get me an appointment at any time on the original date, or that they shouldn't bother contacting me again.

Guess what?  They had someone else call me, and when I called them back, I got a big sales pitch and an explanation that it's 7 hours of drive time to get to my home.  They had the address from the first call, so that doesn't mean anything to me.  The feeling that I got was that they didn't want to put in the effort that they had already promised for the inspection without getting money out of me first.  If they had stated that they wouldn't do a free inspection the first time I called them, this wouldn't be an issue.

If you don't want to do a free inspection, don't make an appointment for one.  If this is how they treat prospective customers, I'd hate to see how they treat everyone else.  I'd recommend finding someone who can hold an appointment and who realizes that their customers' time is valuable and not to be wasted.

They showed up on time. Explained the plan of fixing our sidewalk, said they had reviewed the pictures that were taken when the job was evaluated and bid, but might want to do something a little different. They proceeded cautiously, had some difficulty and decided to employ a manual Jack that would lift the slab to desired level then inject the foam which worked really well.  A additional tool that might of helped would of been a hydraulic cylinder with extension poles to push the slab back to it's original position. But with what they had to work with it came out to my satisfaction. They cut a wire to my yard lighting system but they did ask if there was water or power in the area that they needed to dig and I told them I was unsure since we only bought the house recently. I repaired the cut wire after they left and replaced moved rocks and gravel. They filled the drilled holes as necessary. The expansion joint between the side walk and drive way they needed to cut out to preform the job, after the slab was level they installed some foam to fill the joint and applied some epoxy over that that they told me to not walk on for 24hr, of course the FedEx or Amazon guy walked on it and I tried to smooth it out the best I could. I think they should of used some of that quick set concrete that they filled the hole with and the job would of been done, nothing for the home owner to worry about, but what do I know I'm not a concrete expert. They have done this time after time and they know best what works. They cleaned upped the job site when finished. All in all I'm very satisfied with the job. Thank you both Barry and Bonnie our trip hazard is fixed.

Our first experience with your company was wonderful.  Thomas came and inspected the area of our foundation concerns.  His Knowledge and professionalism gave us the confidence to schedule the work.  Our day arrived for the repair and again another very experienced associate David came to perform the work.  He was wonderful explaining
in detail what needed to be done and the important of the curing process.  Your company provided the service, knowledge, and professionalism that we were looking for in a company to accomplish our goal.

Expensive estimate process. A long delay in getting the stem wall repair scheduled, and a 4 month delay in getting gutter install scheduled. One week before the gutters were supposed to be installed, they called to cancel because their one gutter installer quit.
They did let me know, rather than just not showing.

Bryan did our consult, he was very informative. After going forward with the work he said we would get a call in a week to for a scheduled date. They require an enormous deposit beforehand. After giving a $1000 deposit and I didn't hear from them within a week, I was nervous(first time dealing with this company). I called, and the person answering the phone(Pam), was clueless, she transferred me to Rotchetta, also clueless, who put me on hold for 18! minutes to come back and tell me her supervisor would get back to me. WHAT! I about had a pit in my stomach(they had my $$). I called Bryan and left a message(never heard back). So I called Tom Dixon(operations manager), I told him my frustration and he made feel comfortable with going forward. Tom was so awesome. The next day we heard from them about scheduling a date. They were set to come out on 1/31 between 7-9 and would call with an ETA. Well... by 9:08am no call, no one showed! I called Tom, he was all over it, looked in to it and called me back! Tom is awesome! One of the workers who was suppose to come, was exposed to COVID. Tom was able to pull workers from another job and come here. I told Tom it's all about communication with your clients, he totally agreed, and apologised. Tom sent Felix and Joseph to do the work. I can't tell you how professional those two were, and did a great job. They ran into some issues, that caused them not to finish the job that day. Before they left Joseph said he was going to come back the next day, New Years day(a holiday), to personally finish up what he can. On Monday the 4th Joseph returned again with another worker to complete the job. They were very professional and a pleasure to have at my home. AFS, thank you for hiring a great worker like Joseph, who went over and above his job, to come here on a holiday. The 4 star is because it was a rocky start working with you and the loss of sleep I had in the beginning. Thank you Tom, Joseph, and Felix.. Lesson learned only deal with managers :)

well they recommended a sewer and pipe inspection company and they were $500 for less than an hour.  did not find sewer cap told them where it was to start with but did not believe me. went by my sprinkler cap and put holes in my misting tub and came in and said you got a leak in your tumbling. i fixed it. in spare shower opened up grating with 2 rusty screw drivers each being different. left cap off and rusty tools there. went out to sewer cap and low and behold a tool spade rusty laying there. if this is a company he recommends than stay away. highway robbery.

We had AZ Foundation Solutions install their fan system almost a year and a half ago. When it was installed, we were very excited. We were told that the foundation would be ready for us to install new flooring in approximately a year. It's managed to move about 20% of the distance it needs to.
That aside, once you've had the work done, it's almost impossible to communicate with anyone there. They say they will come out and check your progress at six months. We finally called them at 13 months and got no less than three different excuses as to why they hadn't been out. The first was that it was never scheduled. The second was that it was but one employees' schedule was mysteriously deleted for a few days, and the third was that our problem was so bad they decided to wait a year before checking up on us. I should note that, when selling  us on the fan system, our sales rep. told us multiple times that our foundation wasn't nearly as bad as many he had seen.
After we contacted them, it took another few weeks and another phone call to schedule the check-up. It then took well over a month and yet another phone call to get the updated engineering report. The engineering report said that everything was proceeded as expected. So, either our sales rep. grossly misstated the amount of time it would take, or the engineer was trying to spin unimpressive numbers. Which is true? We wouldn't know. The engineering report we received well over a month ago said that our rep. would contact us to review it. He hasn't, and I'm about done trying to chase down a company who has little interest in maintaining communication with their clients.
To be fair, I should have known this would be a problem before the work was done. It took far longer to get the original engineering report back than had been stated and that was after calling multiple times once the estimated return date had passed. However, if we hadn't gone with AFS, we still would have had to pay for the report. I totally fell for their assertions that we wouldn't get an engineering report from other companies and the risk seemed to outweigh paying for another company to asses our foundation. Lesson learned; if a company is constantly trying to convince you that they aren't pulling the wool over your eyes, they probably are.

Update: I keep seeing that people found my review helpful, and I'm glad you're taking the time to read it. I should have written this a year ago, but better late than never, right?
I see the owner commenting on reviews (like mine) and congratulating himself for doing a great job? For instance, in my comment he says the system they installed was working fabulously. That is literally laughable. It turns out the shifting that happened was due to the real problem with our foundation that we have since fixed but had zero to do with anything AFS suggested. In fact, when we mentioned that it may be an issue, they said we were wrong.
I will say that AFS offered a discount on the further work that needs to be done now that the problem has been solved, but their discounted price is $2-5k higher than other bids. Oh, and also, the system they installed? It's still running constantly. No one ever connected it to whatever it is that was supposed to shut it off, nor have they ever followed up. And no, the little tubes of liquid that are supposed to tell you when things are happening? They haven't moved.

My home is on the market and a home inspector felt that there may be an issue with the foundation in the area of the chimney. Now 2 months ago there were no cracks or separation of the chimney but that is a side note. With a contract on the home in jeopardy I contacted this company to get an evaluation. I live out of state so my handyman and caretaker met the representative at the home on 11/1/18. I never heard anything back from them. No call, email or the written report my handyman was told I would receive. When I called today the person on the phone that was the original person I spoke with and set the appointment with was clueless as to who I was or what I was talking about. Eventually she took my address and said someone would contact me.  Hours later an email pops up from their consultant' implying he had emailed me previously and I must not have received it and that he was resending the email and report. This is absolute BS by the way and the report attached actually says Date Created 11/9/18 which happens to be today.

The report or analysis as they want to call it was BLANK with the exception of the pages that told me I needed to pay them $525 and 3 pages of terms and conditions. Not one word as to what the evaluation was of my foundation and chimney. Not even a hint of what they suggest be done or if anything actually needed to be done. It was a complete insult to my intelligence and waste of my time.

By the way the original buyer canceled the contract. I now have a second buyer and an inspection scheduled and I couldn't even head off any issues regarding the chimney because I have no documentation or suggestions of what may or may not need to be done. I wouldn't recommend these people to anyone!!

After hearing about Arizona Foundation Solutions on the radio on the Rosie on the House program, I had them come out to investigate a possible foundation problem. Brian Patrick was awesome and set up the full inspection team to come out and they found we have heaving under the foundation that is causing cracks in the drywall and cracked grout between floor tiles.
The engineers recommended a repair and Bruce and his team had it completed perfectly in about 6 hours. We couldn't be happier with the service and integrity of this company and would highly recommend them to check out your foundation issues.
I don't understand how there are any poor reviews here on Yelp for this organization. We felt well-served ant that the personnel we dealt with had integrity and thoroughness in all they did.

Terrible company-do not do business with them!  The work that they did was not adequate to solve the foundation problems.  I'm not able to share details but suffice it to say they have no ethics

My suggestion when getting quotes is NOT to start with AFS. You have to pay for the technician to come out and give you an estimate which cost 500. Once that is done the consultant comes out (Brian) who goes over the estimate they then tell you if you decide now they can give you 5% off the price, which in our case was a lot considering the estimate was over 20k. This was not a good feeling.
They do not communicate well. Kim who does the scheduling scheduled the outside work. Brian had told me that after the outside work was complete on the last day they would be out to do the outside so I assumed that is why they did not tell me when they would be out for last part. When they didn't show I called and one again talked to KIm who insisted she told me when they would be out for the inside. She was pretty much calling me a lair.
Martin and his crew that came out to do the outside where wonderful. He answered any question that I had and left it as clean as expected.
The way that my experience was with AFS makes me question their quality of work. Only time will tell.
And the rudeness continues with a rude response. WOW!

We have been waiting for over 2 months for these people to get our permit submitted to the city, just the permit. God knows how long it will take to get the work actually started. Stay away from this place they sell you on a dream and absolutely do not deliver. Meanwhile our foundation issues are being left to get worse. Maybe that's their plan I don't know. If I could give negative stars I would for sure.

Hands down, best foundation repair company in AZ!  Their ethical & moral compass is pointed in the right direction.  They provide a fact based sealed engineer report indicating where my foundation was failing and how best to permanently stop the movement so I could sell my house for Top Dollar.  Thank you AZFS!!

My front patio and master bedroom foundations were slowly sinking due to settling. My front patio was cracking and the beautiful patio roof was sinking, creating rain run off issues. Arizona Foundation Solutions were professional, clearly communicated throughout the process, and helpful during the repair. They helped me finance my expense and the site crew did a good job cleaning up after the repairs, including re-hanging a yard gate and fixing an irrigation line we had to cut for pillars. I feel very good about my investment and the value to my home. I highly recommend.

Brian Patrick, my salesperson, and David Ortiz, my site supervisor for the repair, were both awesome and kept me informed.

After purchasing our home, we called Arizona Foundation Solutions to investigate a sloping floor issue.  Frank came out immediately and did a thorough inspection of our house and foundation.  With his information the engineers were able to determine that a portion of our foundation was sinking.  Although the report, scheduling and permitting took a while, once the work started we were very pleased.  Victor Mendoza and his crew member Alex were the best.  Victor's knowledge and pride in his work was very evident. He took the the time to thoroughly explain the entire process and answered all of our questions about smart jacks, piers and underpinnings.  His experience really came through with the lifting of the house.  We were very pleased with the results and would recommend this company to anyone needing a resolution to foundation problems.

I didn't have a particularly good experience with these folks.  They may be good engineers, but their customer relations needs dramatic improvement.  I paid up front to have an engineering analysis done at a property I owned.  Was told I would have a written report in three weeks.  After repeated phone calls, time after time again -- their promised dates came and went.  Here I am over two months later and I still don't have a written report!  Once these folks have your money they aren't in any big hurry to do anything else for you.

UPDATE 17-OCT-2014:  Not only did AZ Foundation Solutions eventually provide me with the EA Analysis report I paid for, but they also gave me all my money back!  Thanks guys, for making this right.

I am pleased with the work that Arizona Foundation Solutions completed for my house! I originally had a structural engineer come out to evaluate some issues and he identified the problem being my northeast stem wall; he provided a contractor who I thought seemed high on the pricing, so I reached out to AFS for a second bid. I was able to meet with Brian Patrick within a couple days, who was phenomenal. He read through the report and expressed some concerns above and beyond the stem wall, so when he came out, he completed a full review of the house and foundation, with the end result suggesting an engineered analysis to identify what was potentially heaving in my foundation (it ended up being heaving). After all was said and done, I now have my northeast stem wall repaired and two moisture systems installed to remove the excess moisture from the ground underneath my foundation. Sarah and Anthony were prompt, professional and cleaned up the areas after they finished the work as well.

I give four stars as scheduling was an issue as many others have posted. Scheduling for both the EA technician and subsequently the repair plan required me to follow up with Brian as the scheduler Matt did not call within the time frame provided. Brian was able to connect on his end and I got scheduled - but then a call a week later that he (Matt) had not realized that the foreman in charge of my moisture system install was on vacation the day he scheduled the work, resulting in me rescheduling time off from work and pushing the job out a few more days. I recommend following up with your sales associate to ensure that everything stays on schedule - I cannot stress enough how phenomenal Brian was at making the process as painless as possible!

an entire company fueled by mediocrity. Call to schedule the work and get forgotten about multiple times. Call about a warranty on $10,000+ job, and get the run around for months. BUT there was no hesitation when THEY called me begging for a review. They take your money then leaving you hanging in hopes of you not noticing how insufficient they really are.

PS. I was put on hold-incorrectly I presume, and heard 2 ladies drag the owner Bob through the mud . Not very professional :|

Since I have written this review, the team at AZFS has been very responsive. They have reached out multiple times to see how they could help the situation. Although I wish that the initial mistake was never made, I understand that it can happen. I do appreciate their honesty as they didn't try to take my money and fix an issue that was not an issue.

I love contractors that answer their phone. This company answers their phone every time I call. Someone is always there to answer questions and help as best they can. The salesman and quote writer, Brian Patrick, was very direct, gave us a good idea of what we needed to have done on our home. We needed a stem wall repair, not a worst case scenario and easy job. He was very friendly and walked us through the entire process. I clearly understood what work was to be completed. Our repair was scheduled 3 or 4 weeks after we met with Brian. Pricing seemed fair, overall a great experience.

The only issue I had was during the repair. I don't think the repairmen read the contract and job scope before getting to the job site. There were two walls that needed the stem wall repair, and they skipped one wall.  I had to ask them to look at the contract to clarify the work  to be completed. They said they would do the repair. Then they called me out to approve the job, but they never actually drilled into the wall, they just patched it. So I asked them to drill into the wall to do the repair. In the end, the crack didn't reach the rebar, the second wall ended up just needing some concrete patching, not a full stem wall repair. We were able to get Brian on the phone, he redid our contract before the repairmen left, and we ended up saving some money. So overall it was a good experience, I just felt uncomfortable having to pull out my contract to show their team the scope of work, and pushing them twice to do the work in the scope. It definitely added stress and it could have gone smoother. So I am giving 4 stars, not 5 for that reason.

Great service!  We met with our sales person, Brian, who was very friendly and informative.  I especially liked that they give you a sealed engineering study that discloses the problems with your home.  They came out and had the work done in one day.  We had a weird engineering problem because of our home's structure that required a last minute change to the plan, but Brian was able to save us a thousand dollars on the added work that would have been required.  Very helpful and responsive!

4.5 stars

We hired Arizona Foundations Solutions to evaluate a crack in our Saltillo tile.   Our consultant, Ryan Tracey, was extremely helpful and informative throughout this process. An engineered analysis was completed to ensure that we did not have any underlying foundation issues in our recently bought home.  We did have to wait for an initial evaluation compared to other companies, and we also had to wait a few weeks for the results of our engineered analysis.  We attributed this wait to the busy holiday season.  Ultimately we are very happy we chose to complete our repair with Arizona Foundation Solutions.  We are highly satisfied with the quality of their work.  The quote for the repair was less than other companies, and they deducted the price of the engineered analysis from the repair.  We also felt we were dealing with an honest company as they did not suggest or pressure us to make any unneeded repairs.

I've never written a review before, but this warrants it. I needed a radon mitigation job done at my house, and after not showing up the first two times (yes, I took time off of work three times to get a quote for the job) they finally showed up and quoted the job. The job was supposed to start last Thursday, and once again (fourth day I took time off of work), nobody showed up. I called and texted the technician, and no response. I finally called the company, and all they could say was I'm sorry, he can come out the next day. I chose not to take a fifth day off of work for that, and cancelled my contract, which they did agree to. I can't comment on their work product, as five tries to get work done failed. Buyer beware with this company.

As of right now I have to give only one star. We paid $450 for an engineering analysis at the beginning of October. We were told 3 weeks. After multiple calls and Christmas coming I am wondering if it will ever get completed. I think the problem is being understaffed. Until they fix this think about another company. I will keep you up to date as to when our report gets finished and the rest of the process. For all I know this update might come next Christmas.

Update: the owner responded very quickly with my concern. Hopefully things continue to improve.

Update:  Moisture control was installed today.  The workers were great.  Scheduling can be difficult but once you get scheduled they do a great job with the final product.

Arizona Foundation Solutions did a great job repairing a large section of cracked and damaged stem wall, but they also use such innovative technology to keep the moisture from coming back under the house.  We plan to have Arizona Foundation Solutions come back out after we paint our house and install gutters. If you have foundation concerns I recommend calling AFS - they do a detailed engineering assessment to diagnose the cause of the foundation issue and fix it appropriately.

We were quite pleased with our experience with Ryan Tracy and Az Foundation Solutions back in Feb. 2015 when we had helical piers installed as a result of a compromised house foundation due to the floods of the century.  The work was done timely and well.  Fast forward to Sept. 2016 ... upon receiving a notice from our municipality that we had never had a final inspection of the work, the inspector asked for the engineer's certification of the work done.  We didn't have one because that requirement was not clearly communicated to us during our inspection back in Oct. 2014.  I called Az Foundation Solutions and was reconnected with Ryan.  We needed the engineer's letter by Oct. 1, the engineer who would do our letter was going on vacation for 9 days, Ryan indicated he would try to get the letter by Oct. 1 but no promises.  Well, got the letter by Oct. 1, the inspector was pleased, and our inspection is closed.  Thanks Ryan!!!

We called this company because we discovered a crack in our tile floor running down the hallway and a crack in the ceiling of our house. Pat came to our house and told us we had classic signs of heaving. He was trying to sell us on a fan to dry out any water that was underneath our house that may cause the heaving. He said we should have someone come out and measure changes in our floor which cost $500. We had someone come out and they took EIGHT HOURS for what was supposed to be a three hour job. The technician was not professional and overstayed their welcome. We were supposed to get a write up of the engineer's analysis, but we still haven't received it a month later. This company will never get our business again. AZ foundation solutions are interested in sales not helping you fix your home.  We got a second opinion from Ramjack and they were honest about our problems and told us they do the same analysis at no cost.

I contacted this company to schedule a free inspection, which is offered on the main page of the website.  The next day I hadn't yet heard so I called them.  I spoke with someone who took general information and said she would pass it on to a scheduler and that if I didn't hear back that afternoon I would get a phone call first thing the next morning.  Well that came and went so I called them the next afternoon....multiple problems getting to the correct person to speak with (after getting disconnected on the phone, etc...)   Finally I was told that there were no free inspections available for the next three weeks, however they could send someone in the morning (next day) for $350.   Hmmmm, so much for the advertised free inspection.  I am on a timeline so after reading all the other reviews I think it might be too much of a risk to expect the report in a timely manner.

I could not be more pleased.  We had work done at our home nearly two years ago and when a crack reappeared in the foundation I called to have it repaired.  Kevin came out and did the repair the same day.  I wasn't expecting same day service.  The foundation wall looks great again.  Kevin does a wonderful job, not just fixing foundations, but as a representative of your company.  He's a keeper.  Thank you, Kevin.

I recently used Arizona Foundation Solutions for foundation repair for my home in Gilbert.  Our sales person, Victor, was good to work with in regards to what the home needed and pricing.  The home needed cement stitching, piers installed, slab jacking and a heaving solution.  I did find that many of their services outside of the piers and heaving solution were priced very high compared to other contractors in the valley.  I was able to do the cement stitching on my own and saved approximately $9,000.  The teams that showed up to work on the house were very professional.  I was very happy with the service I received.  I would have given them a 4 star review but had many issues getting work corrected and scheduled.  I had an issue with vent pipes that run out of the stem wall.  I reached out to have the issue fixed and was told that Matt would reach out to me to get it scheduled.  I had to reach out 3 weeks later to see what the hold up was.  I finally hear from Matt after sending a email to the secretary, Victor, and Matt.  He schedule the work for a weekend a no one showed up.  I waited about a week and reached out to Matt to see if the work was rescheduled or get an explanation.  Still no response.  I sent another email to the secretary, Victor, and Matt.  Matt finally emailed me to reschedule.  This time they showed up and took care of the issue.  I was surprised that Matt did not apologize for his lack of communication or mistake or whatever happened.  It seems like this has happened with other customers based on other reviews I have read.  There are a few foundation companies in the valley but I suggest you do your homework and price out the work compared to other companies in the Phoenix Metro area.

I am so fortunate to have bumped into this company. As a real estate professional your biggest fear during the home inspection is if foundation issues are found. This happened to me all the time and buyers just canceled without doing further research. This time I had a buyer that wanted to do research and I was lucky enough to find Ryan Tracey at Arizona jack. I am a very busy person but he was persistent and made sure he got ahold of me. We did the inspection and I learned a lot. I used to say so many things about a property during the viewing process that I will never says again. As a real estate professional I suggest you save this number in your phone because you will need it. Thanks Ryan I look forward to working with your team again!

Another contractor built an addition to my home with a substandard Foundation. I contacted Arizona Foundation Solution for a fix. Ryan Tracy came out and soon had a solution. But the best part of this experience has been working with Victor Mendoza and his crew. They were so professional and caring. They treated my home like their own and left the job site in better shape then they actually found it. If you have Foundation issues call AZ Foundation Solution and ask that Victory and his crew perform the work.

Great job by Terry Henry and his crew member Joe(Rango).  I had some work done in June which was quite a disaster.  Terry and Joe were sent out to re-do the work and correct errors.  Their work was excellent.  They were both very skilled, knowledgeable and easy to work with.  They instantly saw the issues and began working to correct them.  They moved some very heavy pieces of furniture back in place and actually cleaned furniture and swept up after they completed their work.  I would highly recommend both of these gentlemen and would not hesitate in asking them to do further work on my home.  Thank you both!

We have been considering foundation repairs for several years and of the companies we spoke to, we found Arizona Foundation Solutions to be the most knowledgable. They have a good methodology to analyze the problem and provide data that justifies the repairs needed. They were professional, efficient and did a great job on our home. I suggest to check out their website and blog to get educated on foundation repairs. This really helped us understand more of the issues and solutions.

My father-in-law referred me to Arizona Ramjack Foundation Repair.  There's a lot that I don't know about construction and my house concern was going over my head.  Ryan Tracey was able to show up the next day and did a great job helping me.  He was on time, knowledgeable, and was able to simplify the solution.   Two thumbs up.

I am a north Valley resident and I was referred to Arizona Ram Jack Foundation Repair for some sort of structural leak I had in my basement. One of their solution consultant, Ryan Tracey showed up, and ran some test to figure out the leak. However, he found out that it wasn't structural leak I was dealing with, but plumbing leak. This was the same leak I brought in another leak detector twice already, but he couldn't figure it out until Arizona Ram Jack came and determine that it was actually my pipe that was leaking. The most greatest and surprising news was that  I was not charged anything for detecting the leak because Ryan claimed that that was not what he had come there to do , but was his pleasure to figure out my problem. This was the most astonishing experience of my life regarding home repairs service companies. Believe me, there are still some honest, trustworthy, exceptional and reliable home repairs companies out there, and Arizona Ram jack is one of them. I was so fortunate to have met Ryan Tracey, a consultant with integrity and honesty, and I will recommend them to all my friends and those who will ever need their expertise. Keep up the good and honest work!!! You Guys are the Best!!!!!
