This Company is amazing from start to almost finished. I had windows arrive early and the installers Adam, Ethen, Dan and Kage installed them flawlessly. This Team was Amazing. I was worried about having torn up sections. Nope not to worry they popped them in like New on a 1980 home! I will add another review on the final with attached photos. I would not hire any other window company and I will recommend them to any one that needs windows. It makes such an impact to your home.

We are really happy with our purchase. Rudy came to our house several times to talk shop and make sure we picked out the right windows. Dan and Kage installed them, and Joe did the stucco work. Everyone was always on-time and professional. So far everything looks immaculate and quality. For any other buyers out there replacing old metal windows with vinyl, I would HIGHLY recommend you pay extra to get the flush frame with the stucco work. We paid extra for this on 1 of our windows, but not the other. You can clearly see from the pics the difference it made in frame width both inside and out. If we ever have to replace more windows we're def going w/ the flush/stucco method since that mimics our old metal windows almost perfectly.

Just had our windows replaced as we went with a locally owned family company, and love the windows! The team members (Devi, Dan, Mason, and Jay) did an awesome job of putting the windows in, and were very professional, friendly and went the extra mile to ensure the process was seem less and non disruptive to our household. Can recommend this company enough with the selection and service they've provided to our home and family!

6 windows plus patio slider. Windows are only 1 day old so hard to comment on performance yet but wanted to compliment the install crew.
Dan and Dave showed on-time, walked me through the process and got straight to work. They were efficient, and not thrown by the unknown surprises our house threw at them. They left the work area very clean and other than new windows you would never know they were here.
Most impressive was attention to detail, they were both excellent , even at the end of a very long day.

I found Affordable Windows Plus Exteriors by researching (googling) local companies and wanted to check out their product. Looking to get out of our aluminum windows that conducted heat and cold, I thought vinyl windows to be the logical choice for longevity and cost effectiveness. I am very pleased with the decision to use Affordable Windows + for the job!

We installed 12 windows throughout the home my guys Dan, Kage and Brandon knocked it out of the park! They were professional, respectful and efficient and were able to get all windows installed within a few hours with having to go up and down stairs and what not. Kudos to you guys because it looked like some of these were a (bleep) to install. The finish is perfect and the windows look great.

Now having the windows installed for a little over a week, I can confirm that road noise is greatly reduced! This is a giant win for these things. Also, the darker window option (I think it allows like 40% of light in) is super necessary for sun facing windows. The light coming in is a bit bluer in hue than natural sunlight, so plan accordingly!

Overall, Affordable Windows + Exteriors is a great company to work with. The whole process from consultation to shipping communication and finally installation has been fantastic. They were very communicative and quick to answer any questions. Shipping was altered because newsflash we are in a pandemic, but I never wondering what was going to happen. Isn't it nice when companies follow through and do what they say they can and perform at a high level? Thank you for our windows!

Did you ever hire anyone, and in the middle of the job you think you made the wrong decision, that's how i felt with this company. I purchased 10 windows, wanted 3 installed without trim, nobody in the crew said that i couldn't have them that way, no option. Came outside after job completion to discover the 3 windows were not like i wanted, crew tells me boss said not to do it that way. Well nobody informed me, the homeowner. Also 1 glass panel was scratched, so they ordered me a new one, was told 2 weeks or so. Called after 4  weeks was told it's the factory, can't give you a date, pathetic. Look elsewhere for your window needs is my advice.

Just had ALL the windows (20 years old) in our home replaced, so I did a lot of research and got quotes before going forward. Jason came out for our estimate, and he was polite but not pushy. I was surprised when he said they'd be able to replace all the windows in the same day--other companies had quoted me 2-4 days. His overall presentation sold us. The windows even came in a few weeks earlier than estimated!

We had them replaced two days ago, so I'll update this as to the quality of the windows, but the overall installation process was so smooth. Bill, Devin, Daniel, and Brandon came out and worked all day long. They were professional and moved our furniture for us too! They kept things clean and the windows look and feel high quality. Their team was another great mark in this company.

We had rooms that got warm with our older windows, and even one day later I can tell the rooms are cooler (I don't have to run the fan as often). I can't speak to the longevity of the window or it's long-term quality, so I will try to update this in a few months. Overall, we are super pleased with the entire process and could not have received better customer service.

Brandon and his team were great. They really went the extra mile to leave a clean workspace, and were careful with our home. They helped move furniture to get the access they needed as I have a small space.  They were great with communication, and did NOT smell like smoke (a contractor peeve of mine). My kids read stories to them while they worked (because like most kids, my kids haven't had much company recently), and they were friendly and accommodating of my kids wanting to be chatty with them.

The pricing was very fair for the quality, the windows look beautiful.  I made the right choice, and with the lifetime warranty, I don't have to worry about my windows anymore. Highly recommend!

Dan and Kage came early to get the job started which I loved! The guys were extra careful with my belongings and took the time to install the windows to a perfect fit. The seal and caulk work are a thing of beauty! Bill stopped by WOW the actual VP and made sure all was as promised. I can say I would definitely recommend them highly! We bought the best quality of window and boy were they fabulous! Totally upgraded the curb appeal of our home.

We were supposed to have 3 windows replaced. We got a quote on 4 and they ended up ordering the wrong window for the third. They wouldn't work with me to cancel the order for the window they ordered incorrectly so I had to buy it and then order the other window. They estimated 8-9 weeks on 3/9 and they didnt get the order until 6/9. They came with the window and it doesn't even fit. So now we will be out another 3 months. With all of the extra money I spent on the window I didn't even want and now all the extra time and inconvenience with it being summer and we have a 60 year old window for the hottest months of the year, I would not recommend this company to anyone. Their prices are very good but they're definitely at the cost of service that is not acceptable

OMG what a great job!  The best windows at a reasonable price.  The installation is flawless.  Dan and Kage were on time and worked so diligently and clean while removing the old windows and installing the new ones.  I was nervous about the old shutters surviving the process, but the men were very competent.   You can see the photos below.  We are oh so  happy and will be referring the heck out of Bill Meyer and Affordable Windows.

It's when issues emerge that a company's true integrity and customer service (or lack thereof) become apparent. Fast forward 5 MONTHS and this job is still not complete. We wanted our windows replaced before summer hit so we had an in-home estimate on March 8th, 2021. The written estimate of completion of installation of all windows was 6-8 weeks, perfect timing. 8 weeks blew by with no call and finally we got to schedule for June 7th, however instead of the whole house at once they said only be part of the windows that are ready. We would not receive the entire front of the house which is the main reason we were replacing windows due to direct sunlight and one of those windows was a priority due to prior incorrect installation.
Nearing double their written estimate of completion and in the full summer heat we called again asking for the status of the completion of our installation We voiced our disappointment about the delay and the impact on our electric bill and Diane on the phone continued to point out that 6-8 weeks was just an estimate. Eventually she said she would relay our concerns to the owner (clearly to get us off her back to end the call). We never heard back.
July 9th we get a call that our windows are ready for install so we schedule ASAP for July 21. The evening before on July 20th at 4pm we get a call from a man who works for the builder of the actual windows explaining that two of the windows are still not ready and there will be no installation the next morning. We never received any communication about the schedule change from Affordable.
July 29th the installers come to complete the job but before leaving notify us that two of the windows will need to be replaced because the film was installed incorrectly when the window was made. Furthermore, WE realize another of the windows they installed in the front is missing the grid. While the installers were at our house one of them said You know the stucco guys are coming tomorrow at 8am, right? Sure didn't! The stucco employee arrived to our house and rang the bell at 7:20am the next morning apologizing that he was told about the job last minute and didn't have our number to call about his arrival. Wish I could say I was surprised by another lack of communication.
Here's where things REALLY turn south. We tried to voice our disappointment to the vice president Bill and only got that's a shame so next we speak to the owner. He says there was a perfect storm with this job. He insists that Jamie apologized to us and that he hears her apologize all the time (so they regularly make this many mistakes?) and mentions recordings as if to prove this. If he means voicemails we have none with apologies but it sounds as though they record phone conversations without the customer consent. He also attempted to deflect our issue with the poor communication with the installation being rescheduled last minute and not being told of the stucco install, demonstrating a complete lack of respect for his customers and their time. He insisted that he communicated the stucco install: in reality he mentioned that they would need to do stucco work when he was at our home measuring for a second time on APRIL 6th. No, I don't consider that scheduling with the homeowner when it ended up being JULY 30th. In regards to the mistakes of sashes and the window not having the grid he again deflected saying you expect perfection. No, we expect accuracy when you've been sitting on this job for 5 months and this costs us a small fortune. We had their checklist in hand with window measurements and which windows had a grid from the contract. He said he doesn't check the checklist, no one does. and that  you just want to yell.
This company refused to take any responsibility for delays, lack of communication, poor customer service, and mistakes on the product itself. Integrity and quality customer service mean acknowledging issues, taking responsibility for mistakes, showing respect to your customer's time, and ensuring your customer receives a quality product with a quality experience. The company instead deflected issues and readily admitted to mediocrity in its product. I understand a pandemic presents challenges in supplies but we scheduled a YEAR into the pandemic: if 6-8 weeks was impossible they should have been up front with that back in March. If your meal at a restaurant takes too long or is delivered inaccurately the restaurant would do something to make it right- comp the meal, send a new one, offer a gift card to return, SOMETHING. Blaming the supplier isn't going to cut it. Take responsibility and make things right. Credit us for our increased SRP bills, discount windows that were incorrect, SOMETHING. Later that evening we received an email from Jeff apologizing for the phone call and the issues we experienced. Unfortunately the damage was done and it was likely only to save face. Save your time and money and shop elsewhere!

Rudy came out to our home in Cave Creek and was very helpful in helping us with our window and door install.  Pricing was fair.  Highly recommend!

We had a sliding door installed in our bedroom to open up to the pool. Affordable windows did a great job. High quality product and expert installation. Devon and Dan where our installers and they were friendly and very professional. We highly recommend them and their products/services.

Affordable Windows has great customer service. Everyone we worked with was exceptionally professional and friendly; the customer service reps on the phone, the salesmen who inspected the home and gave us a quote, and the installers. The process was clear cut, timely, and well communicated, and all of our expectations were fully met. The windows are excellent quality and look beautiful. So much excessive road sound and heat are blocked out now. And our new French style sliding door looks gorgeous! Very happy with my experience, I'd highly recommend this company.

We just had a window replaced and decided to go with Affordable Windows after getting several quotes. I have to say that I have been thoroughly impressed.The service has been outstanding. The sales rep was very nice and there was no pressure. The installers were very polite and professional. All in all, it has been a great experience and I will definitely be using Affordable Windows again.

I would tell you how the windows turned out, but we didn't even make it that far in the process. I'm sure based on reviews they have a great product, but their sales representative was about a half hour late and refused to do business with my wife unless I was home as well. Their company policy is that they will only work with a customer if both members of the household are present. Not everyone will be in our situation, but requiring both homeowners to be present in the daytime on a weekday is a pretty unrealistic request for us.

We left this situation feeling pressured and disappointed.

Had a great experience getting my new windows with AWPE!! John Callahan was awesome to work with and gave me a great price! Everything happened very smoothly and quickly from start to finish! The install crew was fabulous too! Highly recommend this fantastic locally owned company!

Ok, I gave them three stars.
I like my doors. I went with them after spending a fortune on Anderson last time. I still had two more sliders to replace after that.
The only complaints I have are minor.  
I think communication could be improved on many ends.
I won't be specific, but there were a few instances were a simple text or even
a voice message would of been appreciated.
I loved the two men who installed my doors.
They were hard working and decent people.
The lady that answered my phone calls all the time was great!
I don't recall the other ladies name that I was supposed to talk to, but she seemed busy every time I called.
Seems like a fairly good company!!  Thanks for installing my doors!!

My experience with Affordable Windows occurred right after getting a new roof. After having workers hanging out on my roof for two weeks and littering my yard with trash, I was not looking forward to the window installation.

But I have to give the boys who did the installation some major props because they were the complete opposite of the roofers. They were punctual, worked really hard (didn't even take a lunch), carefully covered anything that had potential to get dirty,  and anything that was moved was put returned to its exact location.  When they left, my house was in the exact same condition as when they had arrived (I wish I could say the same thing about my roof, which weeks later, is still getting fixed).

The windows look great, the entire process was seamless, and their quote was the lowest (cute story, the sales person was competing against the other lowest bidder, who just happened to be his uncle who worked at another company).  

It was nice to have a home repair project go exactly as planned for once.

My mother and I just recently bought a house in Chandler and knew we were going to be buying windows after we moved in. It was a process. We had a number of sales reps come into our home and go through the sales pitch on why their windows are so great and how they are leaps and bounds ahead of everyone else.

After the 5th or 6th sales pitch, you realize that most of the windows are basically the same. To tell you the truth, it was like watching a bad sitcom on repeat. I even went to the Home and Garden show and requested a few more companies to come out and give me estimates. I was so jaded to the process all I wanted was for the person to show up, measure my windows and sliding door, give me their sales price (for nearly the exact same vinyl window as all the other companies), and get out so I could get on with my life.

Believe me, my mother felt the same way at this point.
That's how I treated John from Affordable Enterprises. Just another sales person that comes in, gives a spiel about the product. Shows you a few documents, does the blow torch or heat lamp test, and then pulls in the sample window. And he did just that and more.

I am a difficult person to sale to. Everyone has a great product and most can provide good customer service. But out of all the sales people we had in our home this past month, John from Affordable Enterprises, exceeded my expectations. I didn't feel like another sale when he spoke with us.

He went over the benefits of the window he was trying to get us interested in, the same windows a few other companies used, but John went a step further. John had with him a portfolio of customers he helped in the past. With this portfolio, he was able to show us how the windows looked installed on the homes, which gave us a better idea on what we could expect when the job was done.

Along with the pictures, he really knew his customers. Every house he showed us, he gave us a story of how this customer wanted this window (or door) for this reason or that. This man was excited to tell us about how happy his customers were with their investment and how it has improved their living conditions. The fact that he goes back to the customers after the job is completed, to ensure that everything was done to the customers satisfaction, means something to me.

For me, the product is only a small portion of the sale, especially when there are many companies to choose from. The exceptional customer service and respect we received from John today is what earned him our business.

We are still waiting for the windows to be ordered and installed, but I will provide an update on the progress.

My condo had single-pane windows from the sixties. Fellow condo owners and I got quotes from one company and from Affordable Windows Plus Exteriors (AWPE). AWPE offered a superior window at the same price. New windows are now in and my place is so quiet now and I'm hoping for lower electric bills. The installers were first rate, courteous, and friendly. I'm very pleased!

I just moved to the state and found this company on google. We needed all the windows in our 1983 home replaced. Each person I spoke with was so kind and helpful throughout the process. I'm also pretty sure my windows came in early! The guys who installed my windows were great too (Devin and Brandon) Both seemed very happy with their job and were having a good time. I think this is a good reflection of the company. Even though we spent more money than anticipated, the quality of the windows is great. They meet all of our requirements and more. Our house looks wonderful and doesn't need those horrible screens anymore.

Everyone on their team exceeded my expectations.  

John is a seasoned salesperson that really knows windows and was able to explain about the products as well as the process if we went with them for our 7 windows and sliding glass door replacements.  He showed us the pictures he's taken of windows installed, and you could tell he really takes pride in his work.

When it came time for installation they sent out Nick and Dan.  Nick is a perfectionist, which is a trait I like to see in someone working on my house.  They worked together efficiently and quickly and I couldn't be happier with the installations they did.

Already saw their product (Simonton windows) at a Home Show. While I did listen to 45 min. of the standard sales pitch initially, I then requested that their salesman perform the measurements and send me the estimate so that I could get on with my day. He became offended and stated that it was unacceptable to him. I showed him the door.
I contacted the office and requested that they send someone out for an estimate only. Debra (who I met at the Home Show) agreed that it sounded like a reasonable next step.
Not reasonable to somebody at that office apparently. She called back and wanted to send the Sales Manager (does that form of intimidation really still work on people?) and that my wife needs to be available. I stated that   I will only accept a measurement and quote at this point. She stated that we cannot do business.
Avoid this company is my assessment.

Excellent Service, on time, friendly staff and Great pricing.  Highly recommend these guys for all your window and door needs!  Ask for Bill, he's the best.

I'm doing another review because we had our windows installed through this company about 3 years ago and they looked great. We had an issue come up with a couple windows and I called affordable windows customer service and they sent Bill out here! He was fast and kept me informed the whole time of where we were in the process of getting my windows fixed! When the installers got here they were amazing! They helped me do some troubleshooting and we were able to get my windows fixed even around our new shutters we just got in! They were awesome and SO HELPFUL! I'm one HAPPY customer today for sure! I love that this company offers a warranty and seems to stand by it! And a plus they send out competent workers!

Met these guys at the Home and Landscape Show and used them for 11 windows. They did a great job and were professional and couteous through the entire process. They seem to be a local company and not one of the other contractors who somehow got my info from the show and called me at all hours of the day.The windows look great and are makng a huge difference in keeping the noise out of our central Phoenix home. The install team was very good and the gal in the office who helped with scheduling was extremely friendly and helpful. Very happy with their work.

Wow!  From start to finish this company did a fantastic job. Had one patio door and eleven windows installed. It was a big job and I was/am very impressed. The salesman, John, was extremely patient, knowledgeable and easy to work with. The owner, Jeff, came out himself and did the final measurements. Their install team was experienced, polite, and clean. Bill, their customer service rep came out throughout the install and then  week later to make sure everything was going to my expectations. IF in the event I need something or have an issue in the future I'm confident they will have my back. I still have some windows to do and will definitely be giving them a call when I am ready to get that started.  Thank you!

We had a superior experience with Affordable. We had very old French doors and wanted a very wide slider. We obtained quotes from multiple companies but were most impressed with Affordable's product and the fact that you received a high quality product at a lower cost. Any personalizations were easily accommodated as well. While one company we received a quote from scoffed at putting in a dog door into the sliding door, Affordable said that was no big deal. Jeff came out for measurements and the installation was smooth. Everyone was on time and professional. I highly recommend Affordable!

I cannot attest to the quality of the windows or the install as I couldn't even get anyone to come out and give me a quote.  Made an appointment for a Friday at 1:00.  1:30 no one shows so I call and spoke to the rudest woman possible.  First she tells me they tried to call the day before to confirm.  When I made the appointment I gave her two numbers to call.  One, my home number and the other my cell.  I ask what number she called as I have caller ID and received no such call.  She then gives me a Utah number of 801.  Not even close for Phoenix.  She says that's what is showing up on her caller ID.  I ask why she didn't call the numbers I gave her and she states she goes by caller ID and my number showed up Unavailable.  I ask where she got the 801 number then and she gets upset and tells me they cannot come out without verifying the appointment and they need a proper number to call.  I explain I gave her two numbers and she goes back to her caller ID showing an 801 number, what happened to unavailable?  Guess she has trouble keeping up with her excuses.  Now she's telling me I need to call the phone company and find out why my phone is showing a false caller ID number. Huh?  She didn't even offer to set up another appointment which is fine with me.  Why would I want to deal with a company that cannot even show up to sell you their product?  And then they blame you and make it sound like you're phone is the problem.  I'm guessing getting them to show up once you pay them would be another huge pain.

Great work! The owner explained the difference between their service and others during install. They gave me the best quote for dual pane argon filled windows. I would definitely recommend them to others.

I recently had all the windows in my house replaced with this company. I received a quote from Home Depot that was about $700 more than what I was offered through Affordable Windows, and I got the highest quality windows on the market with a lifetime warranty (including glass breakage) that is transferable if I sell my house I'm the future. I was really pleased with the process. I didn't feel like the salesman, John, was trying to upsell me on anything, and he seemed much more humble and less oily than the Home Depot guy. Everything was ready to be installed 4 weeks later. The guys that came to my house to install, Brandon and Blake, were very courteous, did a fantastic job taking the old crappy windows out and putting the new ones in, and cleaned up afterwards. This was definitely a larger priced purchase for me, but everyday I see the windows I am sooooo thankful I got them replaced. If I ever needed another window/door job, I will be contacting Affordable Windows. It's also an added bonus that they are a local company.

Will never use their services again. They won't schedule anything more than 5 days out making it prohibitively difficult to schedule at an available time. I have a full-time career and need to be able to plan in advance to ensure I can spend an entire day waiting on a service. They didn't call back after their first attempt to schedule and I had to reach out to them. Finally booked a 12pm appointment and they called at 2pm to say they weren't coming. It's been 2 months since I paid in full, up front, and I'm still waiting. Their contract releases them from all incompetence and holds the customer hostage.  They can basically burn your home to the ground and deny all responsibility... You have 72 hours to cancel, but they have an eternity to be incompetent.

I've used Home Depot multiple times and the sales rep from affordable Windows bashed them saying they were overpriced and used poor quality materials. Well I'm happy with what they sold me, they were on time, and diligently followed up with me to ensure satisfaction. I never had to babysit Home Depot.

This is one those wonderful businesses that make your phone unusable to receive calls on because most calls are now fake. Thanks Robo caller scourge. I hope your business reaps the rewards of your shady and underhanded sales methods.  Sleazy

I gave the 4 stars reluctantly, I could have easily went 2, but i know their installers are nice, and people working at the office are nice as well, their product however is not so good.

Let me start with the positives.

- Sales call was very professional and the lady was nice.
- Guy came in to give us info and pricing details (John) also very nice and thorough with explanation
- Installers (Matt and his friend i don't recall his name - Which i learned later Matt is no longer with the company) are very nice. Professional and really show that they love what they do and take pride in the work.
- Finance and Front Desk ladies are all friendly and helpful

The Negatives are:

- I am on a national do not call list, not sure how the sales people missed that and called me, never the less i ended up using their service
- Product = Not up to par and what I have see at friend's house done by competitors at much cheaper prices. Sliding patio door's screen is already torn and we never use it since its hot here, all got installed in May 2016 and we are in October and already torn and out of frame.
- Glass for sliding door is blemished. Matt saw it and said that he will make sure order a new one, but I should call office to confirm. I never did, because i was traveling overseas. When i returned I called, was told hat the usual lady at Front desk is not available but a message was taken and someone will call me. No one did, I called a month later, same dude, same story I said i have called before and was promised this time some one will call. a few minutes later the Front desk lady called, and said that they have my window (I was surprised, i assumed that Matt had told them but I never heard back from them until September, because all my attempts to call i never was able to get a hold of someone to file my report of blemishes with) Any ways, yesterday a new sliding door came in and installed, and the installer apologized as there were even bigger blemishes on the door glass again.

I understand that things life that happen, but i suggest that you guys need to have a Quality Assurance employee that checks everything before it is out to be installed.

This is waste of my time, as i had to re-arrange my work schedule, this is waste if resources on your part and it is waste of glass/plastic etc. whatever goes into making the products that may harm the environment.

Any way, the sliding door is installed but waiting on a new door to be ordered and a few weeks later installed.

A good company that i can recommend, but all, please do your homework and your quality check before having anything installed in your home.. as it can be a hassle.

I had the first install done last year in 2016 and everyone was very professional and personable - especially Steve, my first contact. I recently called up to have the work completed and again dealt with Steve. I look forward to the remaining installation being as smooth and professional as the first one.

I just want to say the two installers I had out to do my windows Nick Sommer window other Nick excellent excellent employees they were very informative they came on time they cleaned up after themselves I would recommend Nick to anyone. I really wish the owner would of stayed and explained something to me but Nick was there to clean  up my confusion. which I really appreciated. I would use this company again for future jobs. I'm the type of person who typically over researches several companies before making a decision on large purchases. While price does play a part...the integrity, customer service and warranty is also crucial. My husband and I purchased a condo as a rental and had all windows replaced today by Affordable Windows and I could not be happier.  It started from the beginning with John who was very thorough in educating us, then the Nick and Daniel who were so professional and courteous, and a final walk through with the owner to ensure everything was installed properly. Nick and Daniel did a great job of removing and reinstalling all the blinds and ensured everything was cleaned up before they left. Everyone who we interacted with, were wonderful and the end results look fantastic.  Not only do the windows look great but I can already notice a difference in noise and heat reduction from the outside.  I highly recommend them...you will not be disappointed!!

This is my second time using this company (they replaced all the windows and back sliding door on my house in August of 2015 and did an amazing job then). The windows I ordered this time were for a new build detached garage at my house. After the windows were ordered, Jamie did a great job of keeping me up to date on their delivery date and called me as soon as they came in. There was a small mix up on the glass on the windows, part of it being my fault, but Jeff (the owner) did an amazing job on working to get that fixed and volunteered to come out and replace the glass at no extra charge. He really is a business owner that wants to make sure his customers are happy. I am still a very happy customer and will recommend Affordable Windows to anyone that asks! I've used Affordable Windows twice to replace my old single pane windows with energy efficient ones and I'm very happy with them.  The whole team has been great to work with and definitely want to ensure that their customers are satisfied.  There was a glitch in the second order with the color (lighter than the windows that were installed from first order) but the company reordered the correct ones right away.  What a difference these windows have made in keeping out the heat and cold as well as greatly reducing the amount of dust we see!  Wish I had done this sooner...

I rarely post to Yelp and when I do it is to rave about a company and not complain. This is my first complaint on Yelp as I felt a bit offended about what took place during an in home consultation.

I called to receive an in-home estimate and was scheduled to have someone stop at my home to provide information/costs on the products they sell.

I marked my calendar to have the afternoon free to take care of this project. The rep was 30 minutes late but was no problem in my eyes as things come up and I was home to see him when he arrived.

The rep arrived and refused to give me any product info/pricing because my husband was not home to listen to his pitch. After 4 different attempts to explain my husband doesn't want to be a part of the decision making with this project, my husband has asked for me to make my decision and contract without his consent, my husband doesn't need to be involved in this process, my husband specifically does not want to be involved in picking out the doors, etc the rep still refused to share or sell his products.

He had his foot in my door. He had someone willing to contract with what I can only assume about a $20,000 order for doors and potentially be a returning customer to redo all windows in a 5,000 sq ft home and he still couldn't find the salesmanship to open his bag and talk about his products...hand me some reading material...nothing.

I've never seen such poor salesman skills in my life.

I blocked off a whole afternoon of my schedule to get an in home quote to wait around for a sales guy to show up late and then tell me he can't share his products with me but could reschedule another time when my husband (who doesn't want to be a part of this) could listen to his pitch.

Well there are plenty of other companies who would gladly want my business and would beg to get a foot in my door, would show up 5 minutes EARLY and would respect that a wife CAN make a decision without her husband needing to hold her hand in the process.

The only reason this gets 2 stars is because their customer service team handled it well.

We contacted Affordable Windows & Home Renovations, AKA : Affordable Windows, L.L.C. for a price to install 22 New Thermal Elite windows and 2 new patio doors, all containing Argon Gas. Jason V., Marketing Director gave us a reasonable price which we agreed to on the spot.

The installation began in early November. The installers, Matt and David have worked together for 14 years, and it showed.  They both seemed to know what the other was thinking. The install took 4 days.  Both of them are meticulous in their work.  They did a great job of cleaning up during and after each window they installed, keeping the dust to a minimum, and hauling away all old windows and screens each day.

All office and field personnel are great, including of course one of the owners, Jeff C.  Any changes / corrections after the initial meeting with Jason V., were easily changed without hesitation.

We no longer need the unsightly, Sun Screens.

We are very thankful to all at Affordable Windows & Home Renovations.  We will / would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Two days after my initial call Affordable Windows was at my house. I was given an estimate on the spot and three weeks later my custom windows were installed. They showed up when they were supposed to and did what they said they would do. I am very thankful to have had such a positive experience! I will use them for any future window needs.

Had 4 new windows installed and the process was very good.  Installers were great and did a good job.  Problem is that one of the windows that the salesperson Jason told me would be tinted turned out not be as tinted as the one they replaced, allowing intense afternoon light into my living room.  After numerous phone calls Jason finally came out and offered no solution other than I could pay to have the glass replaced with darker glass!   He offered to check with manufacture and see if I could put sun shades over the new windows.  Again I have not received the follow-up to this request as promised.  Ultimately this poor after service follow-up makes me post a than favorable review and leads me to believe I will not use this company for additional windows that I need to install.

I don't think they are the cheapest place, but they installed our windows quickly and they look great. They followed up to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. I would recommend getting a quote from them if you're looking for one window replaced or all of your windows replaced.

This place is not closed.  They are still in business.  We had them install 28 windows in our house 3 years ago and the quality of the installation has not held up.

While they have come out at various time to address issues, there has been nagging ones that I cannot get resolved:

1) They never did follow through and do a post-installation inspection

2) Never removed the screws the installers put in the base of my windows and caulked the holes; this is a no-no because the screw is a channel for water run off into my wall

3) I have had my bedroom windows re-caulked twice because of major cracking/separation from the wall and am now doing it a 3rd time; in fact I have several windows with major separation/cracking and my handy man will be doing the recaulking...inside and outside

4) Never came back and rehung 2 family room windows that were not installed correctly (flush to the wall) and that have leaked twice, majorly, during heavy rainfall.  Both times the windows have had to be recaulked on the outside.  This summer I had an additional window pour water into my house, my single pane windows that were on my house for 15 years never leaked in the amount these 3 windows have

The owner, Jeff Caruso, was rude to me regarding rehanging my family room windows; he was the one who suggested that it needed to be done...he apparently did not want to do the actual work.

So steer clear of this company.  The product may be nice, but good windows are useless if the installation is poorly done.

These windows are a good value compared to the others I shopped, and the installers, Nate and Sean, are great.  They've worked in my house 3 times now, and do an excellent job of installation and cleanup.   Definitely recommend.

My wife and I want to express our deep appreciation to everyone at Affordable Windows for the installation of eight thermal elite windows and the two patio doors on our home.  We are amazed how much cooler and quieter our home has been since Matt and Dave installed all the windows and patio doors.  In fact, I mentioned to my wife that I miss hearing the birds during the earling morning hours.  We are thrilled to be able to leave the blinds open on our west facing windows the whole day.  Normally, the blinds would be closed during the afternoon hours as the heat would radiate thru our old single pane windows and thus the room would be dark.  We are now able to leave the blinds open all day long leaving the room bright, airy and cool.

Affordable Windows has made our house look and feel totally brand new.  We are amazed how installing all new windows and patio doors has made us feel like are moving into a completely new home.  We loved how the whole process of replacing all our windows was such a pleasurable experience from meeting Jessika at the home and garden show; to having Jessika and Jason come to our home and helping us choose the windows; to meeting the owner Jeff who came to our house to do the final measurements and finally to your window installers Matt and Dave

Affordable Windows did a great job.  We had all of our windows and sliding doors replaced recently.  We do not have a lot of money, but worked with the sales guy and got a really good deal.  We are so happy to have new windows for the summer.  Everyone involved was very nice and no pressure.  The installation guys were nice and quick.

Affordable Windows made and installed 8 thermal elite windows and 4 patio doors in our home. Matt and Dave who installed the windows are perfectionists; very careful, considerate and respectful of our home. They cleaned each area after that window/door was installed. Day two an additional crew joined them to install the patio doors - equally skilled and tidy.

Jennifer in the home office is also fantastic. She can answer any questions and is very helpful scheduling installation.

We love the new windows and doors, excellent quality and appearance. I prefer to do business with local companies if possible and would highly recommend Affordable Windows.

Affordable Windows are the best from beginning to completion with estimating, providing suggestions, installing, clean up, and final inspection! We needed all new windows and they had them ordered and installed within three weeks. The installers were efficient and got all the work done in two days! We are so happy with the tinted glass they recommended and the finished product is a huge improvement! We recommend them to all of our friends and family!

They were great. Had 15 windows and our sliding glass door replaced this summer. They were our first estimate and after four other estimates I came back to them. No pressure, no hard sales pitch. The installation was done in two days in June in AZ which must have been miserable for the crew, but they were professional, and courteous, and did a fantastic job. Not the cheapest option, but I think the extra money was well worth it. Would totally recommend them to anyone looking for new energy efficient windows. Now if only the windows repelled doggy nose prints, it would have been perfect.

Last winter I decided to replace my two 12 foot single pane patio doors with Affordable windows.  Jeff suggested using three 4 ft panels instead of four 3 ft panels.  Not only was it less expensive but it vastly improved the view.  I was going to go with dual pane but they convinced me to go with argon gas and I'm so happy with it!  Not only did it lower my utility bills $50/month this summer but the room is more evenly cooled and comfortable.  The installers knew exactly what they were doing even with these large doors.  I wish I'd gone with Affordable Windows for my other windows.  I'm in the process of a large addition and remodeling project and I'll definitely be calling Affordable Windows for all the doors and windows.

From the very beginning, there seemed to be a lot of miscommunication.  The salesman, who came to my home and took a 50 percent deposit never told me that my windows would not be ordered until Affordable Windows was notified that my HOA had approved the installation of my new windows.  After my HOA informed me that my windows had been approved, as per my submission, I asked Affordable Windows if I could wait until the Fall to have the windows installed.   They said yes, but insisted on keeping my deposit, even though nothing had been ordered.   I was told that they would go ahead and put in the order and wait for me to call in the Fall.    When October came, I called to set up an installation appointment, and found out that nobody had ordered my windows again.   It was the end of October before my windows were installed.  While I love the windows themselves, I am completely unhappy with the damage done to my home during the installation.   When my kitchen windows were installed, the siding on the back of my house was damaged.   The installer left bare wood, some of which was unsanded and uneven.   Yet, I was told to pay the balance.  When I asked the installer for a referral on a painter to finish up the job, he promised to get back to me but never did.   I have not heard from anyone at Affordable windows since.  Nobody calling to check on my satisfaction, nobody to inspect the job, nobody that seems to care.........I will not recommend Affordable Windows to anyone because their customer service sucks.

They are still very much alive, and they ROCK!!!

At first, I wasn't sure that these windows would fit properly in my older Mobile Home but, Not only did they fit.....they fit perfect. What a difference! My AC/Heating unit is working alot less and the temperature in my home is now even from room to room. Installation guys were super friendly and very professional. I gave them a B for responsivness because I called with a question and it took them 24 hours to get back to me but, when they did they had all the answers to my questions. Good Job

Great Company to work with, I pretty much never write reviews however in this case I wanted to share my experience with Affordable Windows.  Let's start with the basics, staff was very easy to work with, everyone showed up when they were supposed, everyone was very knowledgeable about the product and process.  The windows are great and more importantly made for the Arizona weather and dust.  However a true testament of a company is when the customer has an issue.  I misunderstood part of the contract, it was there black and white however when I called with my concern I received an immediate response from the manager Jessica.  She explained everything and even though I had signed the contract and they owed me nothing it was more important to Affordable Windows that I was satisfied.  They ended up paying for an additional window at no charge to me.  I was shocked and of course extremely happy and grateful that I had found a company with this kind of integrity.  I still have more windows to go and I will definitely be purchasing and having them installed through Affordable Windows.

I recently purchased a 50 yr old home on the golf course in Sun City, complete with 50 yr old single pane etched windows!  Went to the home show in January and stopped by several window replacement booths and arranged for on site quotes.  Rick from Affordable Windows was the 2nd company who showed me the product, did an excellent job of explaining the product and gave me a quote.  I was so impressed, that I got on the phone and cancelled the appts. with the other companies.  Jeff came out to do an accurate measurement of the 8 windows and indicated the windows would be installed in about 3 weeks.  As promised, Mat and Dave showed up this morning promptly at the designated time, worked extremely efficiently, neat and careful, and personable.  The job was completed by 12:30, just over 4 1/2 hrs later.  Now I can sit on my couch and watch the golfers through my beautiful windows.....just like watching the Golf Channel in HD!!  I would highly recommend this company for their knowledge of product and installation!  Well done!

I contacted Affordable Windows and Home Renovations, after I had contacted several other companies and I was at the end of my rope. It seemed like every company had some type of fast talker or some kind of scam with a gift card or free window. It seems like when companies find out they're dealing with a woman the price sky rockets. On my last stitch effort, I called Affordable Windows and they were very professional and prompt. Affordable Windows sent a guy out to measure what I needed and showed me the different Windows and Door options I could choose from. Affordable Windows and Doors also had a much faster turn around time than anyone else I had come across. When it came to pricing, I was blown away. Affordable Windows and Doors should change their name to Very Affordable Windows and Doors. I had the BEST experience with Affordable Windows and Doors, they were on time, did GREAT work, explained everything and also cleaned up a mess that wasn't even theirs.
