I live close to Alpine plumbing so I called them about fixing coroded leaking laundry tub drain.  No scheduled appointment, they would stop and look at it to see if they could fix it on their way back to office.  Wanted plastic drain parts and washers in faucet.  They could put in a metal drain and new faucet.  I told them no.  Ended up doing job myself with plastic tub manufacture replacement parts for $40.  Alpine charged $110 trip charge.  I researched and found the average trip charge $60.  Over priced, poor quality service.  Plumbers name is Mike.

Do NOT use this company unless you want to get completely ripped off. We called them out to address a smell coming from the drain in our shower. We told them multiple times where the smell was coming from and said we thought there might be build-up in the P-trap or one of the pipes in the basement -- they told us multiples times that we were wrong. After charging us for a new toilet ring, doing a smoke test, and telling use we needed to extend our soffit vent out, we ended up paying for a lot of unnecessary work that didn't fix the smell at all. We had 2 more plumbers come out and give us their opinions and both agreed within 10 minutes of being here that our suspicions were correct. The plumber we went with had everything cleaned out and fixed in a day. Alpine refuses to admit their mistake, says they're the experts, and after an hour on the phone with them only knocked $100 off our bill. What a joke.

They might want to consider changing their name to Lone Ranger plumbing they swooped in and fixed our problem super fast.

I have a very elderly mother in Brookfield - - her connection to her washer was about to blow... And the sink in her bathroom wasn't working.

Jody at Alpine sent a fantastic plumber within a day who fixed both problems incredibly quickly and efficiently. His repair for the washer was so pretty that my mother's caregiver took a picture.

Where another plumber (will never call them again!) said my mothers bathroom sink and Faucets had to be replaced... Alpine repaired her 1960s fixtures no problem. Saved us money and lots of anxiety.

I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I had heard such great things about Alpine Plumbing so was giving them a call for my bathroom remodel.   I had called 3 times (9/8, 9/13, and 9/16) and they stated they would leave a message for someone to call me back.  I gave them time because I understand how busy things can be.  The last time I called they stated that they are busy and are getting through the calls from the morning.  I stated that I had called 3 days and a week prior and seemed bothered with me saying that.  She said she would have someone call me back on Monday at 7:30am when they opened.  They did not.  Frustrating process as it pushed me back a week in an already busy industry.

I was charged for an after hours visit when the plumber arrived at 3:30PM and was at the house for 1 hour and 15 minutes. When I looked on their website, their hours are listed until 5PM so I'm not sure how 3:30PM is after hours. They also charged for a 30 minute drive. You know, the 30 minutes it takes to get from Brookfield to Pewaukee. When I called, they said they start charging after hours rates at 3PM. They also stated that they charge 30 minute drive times whether they drive 5 minutes or 45 minutes. I guess I fell on the wrong side of all of their policies. I do not recommend this company. $165 per hour is gouging especially when it is during their posted hours.

Look like they can charge what ever time they want.. I went to picknsave they have him on camera he spends less then 2hrs..would not do business with this company again.. He say he send the bill.. But after confronted he want to be paid right away.. Look like they like to dash out after robbing hard working ppl.

Called Alpine back in Feb 2017 because I wasn't getting enough hot water. Was told I needed a new hot water heater, to the tune of around $1700. When I called back a few weeks later and explained that this didn't fix the problem, I basically got the cold shoulder, no attempt to correct or address the issue.
Several months later, I had an issue with mold in the utility room. Upon investigating, my husband and I found that one of the HVAC drain hoses was up against the wall, nowhere near the floor drain, causing condensate to run under the wall. I can't prove that their installer moved it, but he was the last one in there, and judging by the quality of the cleanup, I definitely wouldn't be surprised.
A few weeks ago (June 2021), I noticed I had no hot water on a Sunday evening. Circuit breaker was tripped. Thought, weird, but maybe has something to do with everyone running AC with the heat wave, so reset it. Still no hot water. Called the 24 hour 'hotline' and left a message. No call back. Called Monday morning, left a message. Received a voicemail an hour or so later that someone could be out today in the afternoon, and I should call back to confirm if that worked for me, when I called back (within two minutes of it being left), a most unpleasant woman told me that they had a tech available, but was he now booked, as I hadn't called back quickly enough and I could either pay them for overtime to come out that night or wait until tomorrow. When I explained how unhappy I was and how wrong I thought that was, I was told to call someone else.
After making a few more calls, my husband ended up taking a look at it. First thing he found was that the flexible conduit running to the heater was as loose as can be on the water heater end. On inspecting connections to the incoming power, one of the wire nuts had melted, then wires melted through the plastic inside the connection area, shorting to the shell of the heater (ground). Note that the melted wire nut was apparently yellow (see pic). My husband noted that per the package of wire nuts, 'yellow' is undersized for this application (2 x #10 AWG), they both should have been red, as the other one was. Oh, and the conduit was so loose because the hole in the cover was about 3 sizes too big for the fitting used- and rather than use a couple of $0.59 reducing washers, they just flopped it together as is.
As my husband put it, one doesn't need to be an electrician to figure something like this out - I would surely expect someone who installs stuff like this to know how to use the right fittings and components. Thank God for circuit breakers, or my house almost surely would have burned down...

Beware if you get a plumber by the name of Mike from this company.  He is either totally incompetent or he is a Slick Willy.  I am stuck with a $470.00 bill because of him.  I had a damaged stem in a shower mixer and he was quite convincingly unable to remove it and set up another call to to tear open my wall and replace the whole mixer.  When the other plumber (Justin) came to replace it, he found that not only did Mike not spec out the correct mixer for the wall, but he was able to remove the damaged stem with no problem and replaced it, all within an hour.  I am being billed for 3 1/2 hours.  Half of the time Mike was here he had spent on the phone with his boss Jodi, trying to justify his up-sale.

Jodi their supervisor, seemed to be so overloaded that Mike spent most of his time either on hold or waiting for a call back.  Great way to run up the service hours.

Justin was great.  He performed his job extremely well and even admitted the Mike is full of Sh** and that He always wants to cut open a wall.  Mike however took a simple job and made it an expensive pain in the back side.

Our dishwasher was causing major flooding under the sink, inside cabinets, etc. Had a master plumber from Alpine come out to look at the problem. After fixing the problem he said he had run the dishwasher 6 times and it was good to go. Once he left I ran the dishwasher and all of my cabinets flooded the exact same as before.

Fixed a sewer pipe with no damage to my home.  Other plumbing companies advise of tearing out a wall. So I was extremely pleased as a 4 hr job on took 2 hrs.
