B & B Italia- Seattle

Diva Furniture / B&B Italia always has many beautiful products and it is a must-visit store when I am looking for furniture or home accessories.  A few years back, I purchased a special light fixture from Jesse.  With Jesse's knowledge and his patient, I was able to confidently make the purchase and had an electrician recommended by Jesse to install it for my home office.  I have been enjoying the beautiful light fixture of my dream ever since!

Recently, one of the lights stopped working.  I panicked and contacted Jesse for help.  Jesse was able to find the record of my purchase from years ago and worked with manufacture to ship me a completely new replacement!!!!  I was so surprised and so thankful for Jesse's customer service.  I was really happy that I purchased the products from people who stand behind their goods.  Jesse also gave me detailed info to replace the dimmer unit so the light could perform for a long time as it supposes to do.

Twice I've come in here to do research on a couch I was intending to buy, and twice the sales person was aloof, dismissive, and bordering on rude. I'm in love with the Tufty Time, and I'll be purchasing it it but it won't be here.

Diva Furniture/B&B Italia has beautifully designed furniture that seems to be well made and modern. I have never purchased their furniture however I have been to their showroom. I attended a very nice event they put together with Seattle Magazine. At the time of the event there was a huge lack of product information and knowledge of the sales reps on the floor which is why I'm leaving 3 stars. The showroom is not large but I believe there is more product available for order. None of the furniture has prices listed (at least not as far as I could see) which may be their preference, but as a shopper it's convenient to know the price without having to ask a sales rep. For the purpose of the event I think it's important to have plenty of information available for potential buyers. If you're interested in shopping here you might see if you can schedule a design consultation with someone who can help you on a more personal level.

Left work early to come see things only carried here. Waste of time. Got here by 4:15. Waited until after 5. All we saw was the sign on the door saying they would be back soon. So much for posted hours open until 6.

My friend and I were furniture shopping recently and when we stopped in here to take a peek. Every item is like a piece of art and it's obvious that lots of thought goes into what items they carry and choose to have on the floor. With such gorgeous stuff I practically wanted to refurnish my entire apartment! I asked a few questions and was given tons of help and advice. One of the men working there (who may be the owner?) even offered a few catalogs for me to take home to study. The customer service was so outstanding that if/when I'm in the market for bigger items in my home, this will be the first stop.

I've changed my mind about this place.  Their mix of Italian elegance with a sense of humor has really grown on me and I'd say that B&B Italia is now one of my favorite high-end furniture companies.

Initially the tilted egg lighting really turned me off as trying too hard.  What really changed my mind was when I started looking at their chairs and other wood furnishings.  They have an amazing selection of wood and fabrics that's hard to match.  (They also do COM.)  If you want classic elegance and refinement look at their Maxalto line.  I'm considering a pair of Simplice lounge chairs for my living room.

The showroom is well done.  The manager, Jesse, not only understands his product but his customers' needs and preferences.  We just built a house in Denver and purchased several B&B Italia pieces from Jesse.  Diva handled the furniture with the utmost care.  Unfortunately, on the Denver end, the delivery personnel were not so careful.  Fortunately for us, Jesse immediately filed a claim and replaced the damaged portions of the furniture.  Upon reviewing the photos we sent of the damage, Jesse notice some slight imperfections in the furniture.  B&B Italia is sending replacements to showcase their furniture so it looks like the showroom and in magazines.  If you enjoy exquisite furniture as we do, look no further.

It's not hard to sell good furniture. Even easier if there is a web site that presents the furniture in amazingly good arrangements and combinations. B&B Italia has all of that. What makes the Seattle store different from many other upscale furniture stores in Seattle is the customer service. Not just friendly, but actually helpful.

We had a vague idea that a sectional sofa would work in our home, but had hard time understanding what color or combination of sections would actually work. Enter Jesse-the-Manager. He helped us in the store and when we left we had a better idea of what we wanted. He helped us to narrow it down even more over email, then came to our house to help with measurements and finalize the selection. He helped us pick the right colors out of an astounding number of fabrics. All of that without any pressure to buy - he let us make our decision at our own pace and took our order over the phone in a few days. We still have a few items we need for our house - definitely a great reason to visit B&B Italia again.

I ordered the entire living set with the help from Jesse.  He is the best, very professional and care about customer's feeling, not only understanding their products, but also proactively providing suggestions based on customers' needs. Once I receive all the deliveries, I got some questions on how to arrange all the pieces in the room, he even showed up at the front door and rearranged the sofa cushions,  coffee tables and ottoman for me.  For sure, made it room looks much nicer!

This is just a fabulous company to deal with.  I was on the hunt for a kind of hard to find lighting fixture from Bocci.  Could find it online, but it was difficult to get responses from the companies listing.  I started looking local, and so glad I did.  Jesse was great.  Got the fixtures ordered, they came quickly and the price was super competitive.  So glad I found them, and would use this outfit again in a heartbeat.  Thanks Jesse!

The business carries the furniture equivalent of Ferrari.  Italian, soulful, and built with an eye to perfection more than cost.  Yes they carry $14,000 sofas.  The sofas will turn the head of everyone who comes into your house- but it's faaar from cheap.  That said though they seem to have responded a little bit to the extended downturn with some more aggressive pricing on new models.  They've got a GREAT new sectional called the Bend which considering the revolutionary design and 20 year expected lifespan- is a great value for $7000 in some fabrics.  $7000 is Spitting distance from some sectionals at BoConcept-- and anyone will who knows anything will tell you that BoConcept is NOT BB Italia.

We had an excellent shopping experience at B&B Italia.  It began with Jesse Slover, the store manager.  He was knowledgable, friendly and incredibly patient! The selection of furniture and the quality were exceptional.  Prices are definitely high but the value is evident.  Aside from price, I hated the thought of waiting 4 months or so to receive my furniture but we got lucky.  We went back 3 times before finally selecting a coffee table that we love.  Each time we were greeted warmly and felt no pressure to buy.  We decided on a table that was on sale, floor model, and available immediately.  This was an unexpected surprise.  Would definitely shop there again!

Over the last 4 months my husband and I have been shopping for furniture for our newly remodeled home in Hawaii.   Our son lives in the Seattle area and we took a day to explore the many furniture stores in the area while visiting.  When we arrived at B & B we were not approached until we had had sometime to wander around and look.  All the furnishings are fabulous, very well made with many being unique in style and function.  Jesse Slover, showroom manager,  has been our contact person and is outstanding to work with, he is extremely knowledgeable about his products and the industry in general, he has an excellent eye and sense of color and design.  We are purchasing some key pieces not all or as much as we would have liked to,  only because of our budget.  Throughout the process Jesse treated us with respect, patience and gave us invaluable design input.  I highly recommend B & B Italia if you are looking at buying high end expensive well made furniture,  and I absolutely would ask for Jesse as we have been to numerous stores over the last 4 months and Jesse is one of the best!!  Very professional and very knowledgeable, he pays attention to the details as well as accuracy of dimensions.

Great furniture store.  Beautiful Italian products.  Kind of hits a one note of sophistication with a couple of punches of humor.  Not to outside the box and usually looks the same everytime I am visiting the store.
