Horrible Company that lacks professionalism & any type of customer service!!! We were assigned Price Right Plumbing & Drain Cleaning Inc. by First America Home Warranty...they came out...took our shower apart & took our money. They told us they needed to get First American's approval before fixing anything. Well...they were given approval but REFUSED to do the work...trying to say it was not covered under warranty & could only be fixed at a starting rate of $275. Their business is a SCAM!!! They get jobs from warranty company's & then try to get additional money from you out of pocket.

I would never use the company. The young girl that answered the phone was rude and has no customer service skills. I didn't have any water since Wednesday. I tried to explain to the representative that my 80 years old mother was living with me. The representatives said we called you, very nasty that we had call you and we didn't get an answer. I listen to my voice mail & I didn't have a message from them. She said we can't come out until Monday, which is unexceptable. Well, I was assigned Price Right plumbing & drain by American home shield service. I called another plumbing service and they came out in 2 hours. Don't ever use their service. There's is always more than 1plummer in VA. Beach. Thanks

The technician came, diagnosed (wrongly I may add) what the causes of the problems are, and fixed them according to the wrong diagnosis. As a result, the problem on the toilet was not only fixed but got worse. He made assumptions and conclusions without making deeper investigations. When I complained and tried to explain what the problem really is, the tech did not want to hear my explanation and just left. Why does a company like this one hire people who are obviously not experienced enough to fix problems? Trying to BS a Navy Vet customer does not work!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

THEY ARE A SCAM!!!!!! Please do not.
Our warranty sadly recommended them to us. We told them our issue, and gave us some bullshit reason they couldn't fix it, turns out the first time they looked - THEY DIDNT EVEN LOOK AT THE ISSUE WE HAD, THEY WERE NOT EVEN CLOSE TO IT. They went into a completely wrong crawl space. Saying they don't cover it

Then we had them go under again, and they still came up with another bull shit reason of why they wouldn't fix it. And it made no sense, it was a scam. Scam company don't do shit and are lazy and not factual.

Another company we called told us not to use them and good luck because they always get these customers switched to them. Also, talked to couple other plumbers told them what they said and told us that's a lie there is no such thing is that, that doesn't make sense etc.
SCAM!!!!! Do not USE!

Lastly they told us after us complaining to them that we aren't paying and they finally said don't worry about it they don't expect us to pay since they didn't do shit.

They call our warranty company and complain to them to tell us to pay them. This is a terrible company. I always give everyone a chance, and this was so bad. So SO disappointed. Never had such a bad service.

American Home Shield assigned Price Right. The guy showed up and parked 500 yards away on the street  way out past our long driveway. We saw him from our 2nd floor and knew he was here. We waited and he never came in. We opened the garage door and waited for him. He drove away and we called Price Right and they said he came to the door and knocked. Well we have a large home and a door bell ring might have been a good idea! We called within 2 minutes of him pulling away and they said it would be a $75 charge for him to come back. The idiot did not pull down our driveway or ring the doorbell!!  Customer service ????  These guys are the worst!

Charles was our technician and he exceeded our expectations. He was on time, friendly and professional, and he fixed our water heater in a short amount of time. Our repair was complete within three hours of filing the claim. Outstanding!

Price right was assigned to me through my home warranty American Home Shield(AHS), below is my review sent to AHS about my service.
Water heater in attic went out and AHS scheduled an appointment with Price Right Plumbing, they sent out a gentleman named Kyle. Kyle came to my house and suggested that I would need to cut out a roof support truce and the two attached support beams to facilitate him installing a new water heater in my attic, I then called an unaffiliated AHS company who came out took a look and without any modifications installed a newer version of the same size water heater I already had in place. The new heater went up and in the attic access without even making contact with the frame of the opening, I can't tell you how dissatisfied I am with Kyle and Price Right Plumbing as well as AHS for being affiliated with such a sub par company who's reviews actors the internet are terrible and it took me 10 seconds to find out as much about the same amount of time I imagine it would take someone working at AHS to see for them self if the cared too! I'm done with AHS when my contract is up and would never use price right plumbing for anything in the future!

Their plumbers are courteous and very professional. They have very good service and were quick to contact me to schedule an appointment. They know what they're doing and I was really compelled to write a review after seeing a lot of negative feedbacks online. They replaced my water heater which is an Apollo system that combines water and heating system. It is a complicated and expensive system and Larry, the lead plumber, did a really good job!

DO NOT EVER CALL THIS COMPANY FOR PLUMBING SERVICE.   0 Stars for the service they provided.  They were sent to my house by my home warranty company.  After a 5 minute diagnosis and a phone call to my home warranty  to see if it was covered, it was determined the issue was not covered.  At that point we had to pay him $100.00 to cover our deductible.  So instead of giving us a quote for the job he just left with $100.00 for doing absolutely nothing.  My Wife ask him for a quote and he said after he checked for parts he'd call back.  Five hours later I called the company asking about the quote and he hadn't even done it yet.  The girl on the phone I talked too could have cared less.  3 days later I still have the plumbing issue  and have not heard one word back from them.  DO NOT EVER CALL THIS COMPANY FOR PLUMBING SERVICE.

This company was issued through HSA Home Warranty. Brian was the technician who came out and his helper. First of they refused to call before arriving which is aggrevating as a house with 3 small kids and 2 large dogs. Brian walked in and his 1st response after showing him the damp ceiling was, well its not visibly leaking. Then I proceeded to tell him I did some quick measurements and thought was the stand-up shower upstairs. So he never did his on measurements and just went with what I said, only checking shower. He was here no more than 10 minutes and tried telling us that are basket strainer was leaking and had atleast 3 cracks in our shower pan. This diagnosis came without cutting our ceiling underneath. I confronted him with his diagnosis asking how he did it so fast without barely running water or cutting ceiling to see shower pan. He goes well doesnt matter because your strainer is glued voiding your warranty, which was a lie because other company is fixing through HSA on Tuesday. It is plumbers silicone not glue, but yes putty is preferred. So he gets irate and walks out mad and drives off, no explanation, after I explain that my dad just retired and owned 2 plumbing companies in the area for 40 years, but lives in Boston now. Then tell him my Uncle and cousins also own 2 companies in the area currently, have been in business 40+ years as well. Used to be partners with my Dad at one time. They all started at Sears and Rotor Rooter. All us cousins grew up as helpers as well. I know plumbing, but do to a disability very limited what can do and we already got issue diagnosed through family but cheaper to pay $100 through warranty. So the best part is my shower has no shower pan, model doesn't come with one. So how is it cracked then if doesn't exist. So I was correct by saying Brian was full of s**t. He also said with shower pan crack, would most likely void any repairs required because HSA doesn't cover that.Sounds like Brian was just trying to find issues he thought voided doing any work. Avoid this company. My warranty was never voided and issue is being fixed tomorrow along with another company repairing ceiling all through HSA. Avoid Price Right or atleast Brian, dude is a clown. Walked out mad and irate avoiding job after being confronted about diagnosis that he clearly lied or misled about and how in under 10 minutes with no holes or any water used. Other company was dying laughing along with my family of plumbers after the shower pan issue and calling plumbers silicone glue. Thanks for the waste of time but had a great laugh at Brians expense.

Excellent experience. They came out on a home warranty call. In my experience, home warranty service is wildly inconsistent so I was braced for a mediocre to poor experience. I was pleasantly surprised!

They arrived on time and set straight to work. They fixed the problem and then went the extra mile to adjust the toilet so that it would run optimally.

They were punctual, professional, speedy, thorough, and pleasant. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Wish I could give zero stars. Sent out by home warranty for leak related to shower. Their plumber spent 15 min and said it was a caulking issue around faucet. They then charged us $100 and said they don't do caulking and we needed another plumber. Unconvinced, we got a second plumber who identified the leak as a break in our line. When confronted Price Right's owner said they would not return our $100, but would come back only after we finished the caulking... even though it was clearly not the issue.

Price Right Plumbing showed up right on time and completed the job efficiently and effectively. At first, I was nervous about using Price Right as part of my home warranty coverage, but Mikey and his helper, J, could not have been more responsive or professional. I will definitely call Price Right Plumbing for any future household needs. Mikey and J offered 5-star service.

My home warranty company, TPG Chinch Homes Services, assigned this company to repair a leak in my crawl space.  I called Right Price Plumbing and after several tries finally spoke with a female.  I explained the problem was a leak in a 3/4 inch Quest water line in the crawl space.  I was told that they would not enter the crawl space until the leak was stopped and the space was clean and dry.
That makes this company in the wrong business.   Sorry company for real plumbing problems.  Don't want to get dirty and afraid of water.  After talking to Right Price I called my warranty company  and had them reassign the repair to another company.   I will review new company after they examine the problem but first contact is promising..

Inexperienced plumbing technicians showed up to do the job. Could not find the leak in my shower. Wanted to rip out my kitchen ceiling to find the leak.  And when I refused to let them rip out my ceiling they left without doing anything.  After they left I found the leak myself.  The leak was not visible from the kitchen ceiling even if they had ripped it out.  Awful!!!

Was forced to use this company due to home warranty coverage. Called for a blocked drain which is covered under my warranty. There were 3 points of access were identified yet the workers chose to snake only one of them in which required me to physically move the washer and open the trap for them because they refused.  The clog was kitchen. Told me that the snake couldn't reach in kitchen yet not once did they try.  They were here for not even 2 hours didn't do the job left with a blocked drain. The told me that since the needed to go on the roof to access they had to stop job because AHS didn't cover roof access.  I reminded them that they previously told me before lifting my washer for that access that roof access was not needed since I opened the washer trap for them. Yes me, i had to open it. They insisted water was going to run through my house and advised to end the job. I opened it , nothing came out then they spent 2 minutes snaking about 5 feet. They said then it needed to be blown out and they dont do that. They did absolutely nothing and it was apparent they were going to do as little as possible . They did not clean 100 feet through my access points according to my warranty. So because I refuse to sign the paperwork so just out of spite they told my Home warranty company that it was a foreign object and it should not be covered and didn't specify to AHS what type of object however when I called the Price Right back they told me it was because they found a piece of rice on the snake.   Obviously rice is not foreign to my sink. They told me they never located the blockage,  never got to it but out of spite nullified my warranty.   Not once did any tech say it wasn't covered but the acess is not covered and I do not have the blow out equipment. They left after little effort and said we cannot get to blockage so instead of being honest and reporting they were inept they lied to AHS. I then called Roto Rooter, they came out in 2 hours and on site finished the job in an hour.  They were the absolute best. He snaked the 3 access points. Yes, he immediately snaked under my sink and cleared my drain. My clog was from grease and normal food accumulating. He showed me grease on the snake,  no rice. There was no object found. It was worth paying a professional.  I would advice never using this company.  Opt to pay someone else. This company employees are liars. They are lazy and inept.

Had a leaky toilet tank. Sean arrived and was very polite and professional.  He took a few moments to analyze the issue and thoroughly explained what the fox was.  He worked consciously and quickly and was done in under 30 minutes. I was very happy w/ the service and would recommend to anyone.

A class act.  I found my plumbing guys.  They showed up on time, and I received notifications in advance of their arrival.

I had two toilets, with two issues.  They immediately recognized the problem, explained it to me very thoughtfully.  Both toilets were fixed (quickly!) And I'm a happy toilet guy again.

SUPER POLITE and RESPECTFUL.  Much appreciated.  I will use this company again, and I hope I get my man again, if I do.  Well done.

My warranty company (American Home Shield) sent this company to my home. The company sent 2 plumbers plumbers to fix my problem. Upon completing the leakage work order, the lead plumber stated that he didn't like how the toilet flushed. He lifted the toilet and augered (snaked) the drain pushing whatever was hard down into the system to go out (the main line). In turn he backed up my main line and poop water was everywhere (bathroom, kitchen, halls). I called the company directly and was told they would not come out because their technician didn't do this. I've talked with the warranty company, which deems price right at fault.  It's been over A week and today they still won't take responsibility for their actions. Won't even pay me back if someone else comes out to fix it. Very sad. I trusted them with my home and now I'm being taken advantage of...

Then they had the nerve to have their plumber call me and say he could not have done this. And that it was A foreign object... How do you know if you didn't pull it out but pushed whatever hard something you felt further down... Make that make sense. Also stated that he called the warranty company and they said it's my fault, them people barely speak English and my claim is higher than a regular rep. I'm not sure whom he spoke with but he blatantly lied.
I pray none of them have to experience what i have and especially with small children in the home. Its sad. And they are disgusting

For anyone in need of a plumbing company, Price Right is NOT the one to call!!! They said their policy for the water heater is to come out 3 times to clean the thermo couple before they replace the REAL problem.... The gas control valve.

The worst. They were sent out to replace a water heater from my warrant company and then told me it would take a week to replace because they didn't have the part. I called my own plumber and he replaced it the next day. They also don't answer there phones and if you have a question and leave a message they don't call you back. Waste of time and money spent.

The worst customer service I have ever encountered, 1 week with out hot water waiting on them to replace my water heater, call my insurance and they gave them a PO which they have lost, and all the while the new water heater is sitting in the supply room. receptionist was rude and not once did they follow up, called the insurance they told us the company's lost the PO, talk about a shitty company. If I could I would give them a Zero for every level.
Autumn girl that answers the phone has no customer service or professionalism at all!, she lies telling us someone will be out Tuesday and I call back Monday to verify and she says I have nothing scheduled for tomorrow Tuesday!  OMG what type of company hires unprofessional people like her!, this water Heater better get here tomorrow because again I will take another day off!  So help me God! Don't do Buisness with these people!!!

My toilet stopped working at 4am in the morning as well as my sinks, and my showers. I honestly thought my plumbing system was backed up since everything stopped working. I contacted my home warranty company (HSA home warranty) to try to get it fixed ASAP. They advised me that Price Right Plumbing would be doing my servicing. I was very nervous and concerned after reading customer reviews. But I actually had a great experience. The Tech seemed very knowledgeable and he was also nice and professional. Luckily, I had a small issue which was my fill valves needed to be changed. They were allowing air into my plumbing system. I don't remember the tech name but he was great and my issue was resolved. They also told me they wouldn't be able to send me a tech that day and the earliest they could send someone would be the following day. But they called me back within 30 mins  and told me they could have a tech see me that day and he was currently headed to my property.

I would give no stars if I could.

I was referred to this company because of my home warranty company when my water heater was leaking. They came to my house for a total of five minutes and said it needed to be replaced. It would take about a day or so to get my heater in because it's a slightly different kind. And left. After a week, I hadn't heard anything from my warranty company or PRP about the status of my water heater. I called and the warranty company who stated they didn't know the status and informed me there would be $600 owed to PRP for installation (which No one told me previously or asked if that was even okay with us). Then my water heater exploded and flooded our house with water. I later learned, the water heater had been available since the day I filed a claim. Meaning I could have avoided a flooded home if PRP had bothered to do their job and actually check the status and call to schedule an appointment. After a HORRIBLE two days of trying to get a cash-out option with my warranty company and obtain/purchase the water heater ourselves we finally got it installed thanks to my father in law. 20 minutes and $50 later. PRP over charge customers when using the warranty company which is a complete rip off.

Avoid them!

Would not recommend this company, home warranty company assigned Price Right when my pilot light would not stay lit, technician diagnosis was the  thermocouple was bad. He replaced it later that day and the pilot light still did not stay lit that evening. Call the very next morning and  a new technician, Taron, came out the following day and would not service due to nuts not being on the chamber door. He said it was no big deal and tried to order a new door through home warranty stating that the system had been tampered with, which is not true at all. The home warranty company denied the claim based on that statement. I got the claim reopened and Taron stated to call the manufacturer of the hot water heater to get the nuts needed and he would come back out. I called the manufacturer and was told the nuts could be bought from any hardware store, we purchased the nuts for $1 and then Price Right refused to come back out to re-diagnose my system. So glad my claim is being reassigned to a new company, I don't have time for games, I just want my hot water heater working.

I had a tub-spout that was leaking lots of water (about half the water was coming out the tub spout and half out of the shower head.) So i called my home warranty company (2-10 home warranty) and put in a claim. They sent this lousy sorry excuse for a plumber out. After the plumber looked at the tub spout he said Oh well, that's an old style tub-spout, so they are supposed to do that. He suggested I buy a new shower head with my own money and fix it myself. Are you kidding me? Unbelievable that a plumber would try and tell me its not broken when it clearly was. What I believe what happened, is the plumber didn't want to fix it because it required the pipes behind the wall to be fixed, and he didn't want to do the job. So instead, he just lied to me. I also has a toilet that was running, so he said he put a new flapper in. Didn't fix the toilet, still runs water. I can't believe that he would actually try and lie his way out of the job. Horrible plumber.

PRICE RIGHT PLUMBING company was sent to my home from the home warranty I have and they told me to caulk and that I didn't have a leak. So I caulked and it still leaked. they came out a 2nd time and said they fixed it by cutting a pipe short where the water comes out into the tub but still water coming from the bathroom upstairs down to the laundry room. They are not a good plumbing company to call. The third time I had to call the home warranty company and they sent out one stop plumbing. they fixed my leak in less than 1 hour. Needless to say I have now have a lot of water damage to claim on my homeowners insurance. If they would have just fixed the leak in the first place I wouldn't be in the position I'm in now having to get water damage cleaned up. DO NOT CALL PRICE RIGHT PLUMBING THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. WOW!

3 years ago they damaged my cabinets. And a few weeks ago sent again by out HSA and fixed a seal on our garbage disposal. Now it's leaking. probably trying to collect anther fee like last time. Oh and that leak damaged the same cabinets. So no HSA has been told they are going to fix the garbage disposal be and the cabinet. After the $10,000 service call from 3 years ago. Are you serious? How are you still in business pulling the same crap?

This company came to my home to fix a leaking tub faucet. The tech told my wife the loose tiles had to be replace before starting the job. So me being a ex plumber I review his write up to AHS all of it was false to the job. I had to get a second opinion from another plumber who stated the other company is not on the straight and narrow. I recommend do not use this company for any reason. If they can not fix the small stuff why give them big tough jobs.

Plumber came out for home shield warranty work and recommended water heater replacement without diagnosing unit. This was for items not covered by warranty. Would not respond to AHS with proper information to complete the claim. AHS sent out second contractor a week later who replaced the thermostat saving $1000 when they properly diagnosed the problem.

Price Right gets most of their work from home warranty scams and tell you something is $150 and not covered (in addition to your $100 service charge) to make up for the cheap price they've negotiated to do work.

My drain in my second floor shower was leaking, American home shield warranty sent price right plumbing out. The first time they came, said they fixed the leak, they left, and one day later it was leaking again. They came out again, cut a hole in my ceiling to look at the drain from below, said they couldn't fix it and that I would need a new shower installed. I called another plumber, he came and said it didn't even look like they tried to fix the drain, and he had it fixed within 30 minutes. If AHS says they're sending this company to you, tell them no and that you want another company.

This has been the worst service I have experienced. The worker that came out refused to do the job and the company wasn't any better when called. I have a older home so the line has to be snaked periodically when the water backs up In the sink. The problem has not been fixed but they have my money. As the plumber he still has no reason to why the water is backing up in the other sink. The worker also was very rude to my mother who is a senior citizen and caused her pressure to spike.

If I could give them 0 Stars I would.  The technician that came out was extremely in experienced.  We were having an issue with 2 toilets.  The one toilet he said was just a kink in the chain... the other toilet he stated did not have a leak like we suspected.  The only thing he did was pour red dye in that tank (and all over the toilet seating... staining it PINK) and said there wasn't a leak because their was no dye in the toilet bowl.  Well I called for a 2nd opinion on the kink chain toilet.  There was no kink, the unit inside the tank was older and needed to be replaced because there was very clearly water coming out of the top where there wasn't suppose to be.  The repairmen told me that anyone with any type of plumbing experience would have seen that right away!  Unfortunately, I didn't get a 2nd opinion on the other toilet that same day.  I now have water damage on my hardwood floors because the toilet was in fact leaking, but out of the bottom of the tank and not into the bowl!!  When I spoke with the company about the misdiagnoses the lady argued with me and was VERY rude when I tried to set an appointment for them to fix the problem properly.  I decided to instead pay the 2nd opinion company again to come out so that I would never ever have to deal with this company again.

When our hot water heater started leaking EVERYWHERE, I contacted American Home Shield and they immediately put me in touch with Price Right. They replaced the gas water heater in less than an hour. It's like we're living in a different house. We don't have to wait very long for hot water at any faucet now. Their office contacted me letting me know when to expect the inspector and he was here at the exact time they gave me. The inspection was perfect. I'm planning to hire these guys to do routine maintenance on the water heater.

Awful, just awful. We used them with an American Homeshield warranty. Did not fix anything. We're told none of it was covered but they would be happy to come back and fix it not using the warranty out of our own pocket. They did not fix a garbage disposal (it was frozen, they got the motor running but it makes a very loud screeching sound now). The technician left saying he was getting parts. Two hours later we received an email from AHS saying our service was completed. We called the plumbing company and were told washers were missing?!?  (What the heck?!?) and it's not covered. The tech should have said something at the house if that was the case. This company is very dishonest. DO NOT USE THEM!

Had a leak in the upstairs bathroom that was somehow going directly downstairs into the laundry room at my rental townhouse. With my home warranty service fee of $100 prepaid, they came out promptly to check it out. They found the leak was coming from around the drain and faucet/shower nozzle and needed caulk. Since, according to them, the leak was not covered by the warranty, they would not make any repairs and therefore wanted to charge my tenant $50 to apply caulk to the leak. No thank you! I'll figure out how to do it myself or find a friend to apply caulk for less than $50! What a ripoff!

These crooks claim to remove and install my hot water heater they need to do a water line modification.  I've been in the construction industry for 20+ years  and removing an old water heater to install a new 1 requires no modifications outside the scope of installation.  This is another dishonest business taking advantage of warranty customers.  There are no water or gas leaks  so what are they modifying? I would be surprised if they knew what modification means. Take the cash option, and find another plumber.  I would rather give a honest plumber more money than give these crooks 1 dime.

If I could leave no stars I would.  The plumber came and did not resolve my issue.  Instructed he would return after I had the HVAC reviewed for condensation.  When I called to arrange the next steps they claimed I had no leak and that was not the issue they were at my home to address.  Yet there is still a leak and there is still water pooling in my ceiling.  Horrible customer service and horrible follow up.  I asked to speak to a manager or owner and was told that information was confidential? So, in short, there is nobody to hold anyone accountable.  No office to visit, no manager to remedy and they clearly don't care.  Worst experience ever, but lesson learned.  Document all conversations and the next steps with any contractor.  Thankfully American Home Shield made the situation right and have arranged a more competent company to resolve my still leaking toilet.

If I could rate 0 I would. Please avoid this company at all costs. They will come out and make things worst, recommend ridiculous replacements and then tell your insurance company it's not normal wear and tear in order for you to pay them out of pocket. Luckily I wasn't born yesterday and can recognize a scam. I requested a second opinion and the new company JR Plumbing got the job done. Not trustworthy at all.

My home warrantee company assigned them to come out and repair my leaking shower faucet.  First they didn't have a good set of Allen wrenches to get the set screw out of the handle so I let them use mine.  They said they couldn't get the set screw out so the tech called the manufacture and allegedly ordered the parts needed to repair the faucet.  He said the parts would be delivered to my house and to call them once they came in.  That was on 16 Jan 2023.  I called the warrantee company back and they issued a recall for the plumber to come back.  I also called Price Right and have not heard from them.  No parts, no return call, and still have a leaking shower.  Conveniently Price Right reported to the warranty company the job was completed.  Lastly, I bought a new Allen wrench set and was able to remove the set screw without any issue.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY***** IF YOUR WARRANTY COMPANY REFERS THEM DECLINE AND SELECT ANOTHER COMPANY
Caleb was dispatched to my home today for plumbing repairs. The leak was discovered to be from the pipe connecting from the bottom of the toilet through the wall leading into my crawls space. Of course I had water traveling through out my downstairs and had someone come over to shut the water off.
Caleb looked at the issue PRETENDED he would get the authorization from the warranty company, come back and begin work. He COLLECTED the $100 service fee (of course) called the warranty company and LIED He told them the shut off and supply line was broken and told them I said I tried to get a neighbor to fix it. I NEVER TOLD HIM THAT AND NOTHING WAS BROKEN!!! My warranty company denied the claim and they got a free $100 FOR NOTHING!!! PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE USING THIS COMPANY

This company was sent to us via our home warranty First American Home Warranty.  Honestly, I'm concerned paying a home warranty company who is OK with being affiliated with such a horrible company, but that's another subject.

Price Right has nice enough workers, but they didn't fix the leak that they were called to my house for.  In fact, my husband and I had to call our warranty company again to have someone else come out to fix the leak.  Those jokers came out...spent almost two hours at hour house, and the faucet in the bathroom STILL LEAKED.  When I called our warranty company I told them don't even send Price Right to our house again!

I too was sent this company from AHS. They are the absolute WORST. Guy told me i needed a new toilet and quoted me $425 never cleared the blockage and left everything a mess on the floor. I am seriously considering canceling my warranty with AHS because they continue to associate with a company as poor as this.

Our home warranty company sent them out for a leak. They had an opening a day earlier than the scheduled appt and called to come early! While the warranty company did not cover the work, they did a great job and were very professional!

The customer service skills for their office employees, need to be adjusted. Attacking a customer verbally over the phone due to an error on their behalf is absolutely absurd. They lack serious professionalism and customer service skills. The technicians were in and out in less than 10 minutes. They were recommended by my home warranty company. I will be advising this home warranty company of the situation at hand. I do not recommend this company..

Our hot water tank went out and we had to use them as we went through the home warranty. Thanks to their busy schedule and the frustrating home warranty it took 1.5 WEEKS to get hot water. But that's not why I don't recommend them. The techs who came out were kind and professional and did a good job. The frustration is with the office staff. We told them not once, not twice but three times to not call one of the numbers as it was my husband's phone which is off during the workday. Three times they called the other number, the straw that broke the camels back was today when I wasted my day waiting for an inspector they were supposed to book when they had called my husbands phone which is off all day to say they failed to schedule the appointment. It wasn't until I called at 4 pm to confirm that they told me. Don't waste your time with them. Go to another plumbing company with better office staff.

I'd give zero stars if I could. This company was used by my home warranty company AHS to replace a leaking hot water heater, they stated that they had to rip out the stand that my hot water heater was on and redo the venting, wiring, etc to accommodate a larger tank because the size I had was not made anymore?? (Uncovered charges)My home was just built less than 7 years ago. Take my advice refuse this company if your home warranty uses them!!  They will charge you for unnecessary uncovered charges equaling over 6 hundred dollars in unnecessary expenses that from my experience was not even in Chesapeake city code when I went to sell my house 9 months later!! The inspector told me the size water heater that was installed was a commercial size for apartments not a single residence home and I had to pay to redo the stand and work done by this company in Oder to sell my home and have in code. Hundreds of additional dollars without any assistance from American Home Shield who claims they are not responsible for the companies that they choose for you and contract to send out on your behalf...what a rip off

I was also assigned this company by American Home Shield. My hot water heater was leaking and had to be replaced. The hot water heater was located in the attic of my 2 story home and the path to it went across the hard wood floors in my downstairs. After about an hour of back and forth trips of one of the technicians, including him taking the new hot water heater up the stairs and across my hardwood on a dolly by himself, I noticed a 3 ft gouge in my hardwood that wasn't there before. He noticed me watching and now decided to buy down a tarp on my carpeted stairs. They wrestled the old dripping hot water heater down and out the door, leaving a trail of brown water drops. Then they wrested the new one up into the attic. After awhile, they declared they were done and showed me the new hot water heater in place and had me sign the order and they left.
After the left I noticed that the wall next to the stairs to the attic were banged up and scratched and had brown water drops running down it. I took pictures and call Price Right and they said they were going to send the same technicians back over. I said oh, I am not comfortable with that but they sent them. When they arrived they looked at the issues and said they had to go to there truck and make a call. They came back and asked some questions, one being why didn't I say something before they left, I told them I didn't want to confront them because I assumed they would deny doing them damage. I also mentioned no to worry about the small scratch up on the wall by the filter, it was already there.
They went back to the truck to call the boss. They came back in with a paper explaining everything for me to sign. I read it and it said they deny making the scratch with the dolly, they deny I told the first guy to be careful of the hardwood and did not even mention the damage upstairs on the wall. I asked about the wall and he said, oh! I thought you said it was ok. I told him, not, add it. As he was writing it, I told him I was not signing with the denials, he said my boss said if you do not sign it, do not give you a copy, I said then you can leave.
I call the office and talked to the rudest supervisor I have ever encountered. She told me the technician said I told him my roommate said the damage on the floor was already there (remember above I said the damage on the wall near the filter was already there), I tried to tell I had not said that and she kept talking over me so I could not say anything and called me a liar for the 1st of 5 times. She said there was no way a 3 dolly could of made a 1/8 gouge and again she would not let me answer as she talked over me as I tried to tell her I never said a dolly fid it, only that it was not there before and it is there now. I tried to say since I did no see it physically happy, I do not know what did it, any other liar was hurled at me. At this point she is threatening to hang up on me instead of listen to me.
THIS IS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS I HAVE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH!

We are remodeling our kitchen and realized that the drains (shower and kitchen) weren't draining correctly.  We contacted First American Hone Warranty to place a service call for a clogged main drain.  They sent Price Right. The very young person they sent out didnt seem to know what he was doing. He went outside to call someone to figure it out! He came back in and said the kitchen sink needed a  studor vent.  He said the main line wasn't clogged because some water went down. He didnt go under the house or check the line.  We paid out of pocket for another plumber to install a studor vent. There is still an issue. The new plumber went under the house and found the main line backed up and bubbling letting little through.  Recalled warranty plumber to fix it.  They denied service stating that their technician said the original call was for a slow kitchen drain, not a stopped up main line.  The work order to the warranty company states it was a stoppage! This plumber said it was not and canceled the service call!! Price Right told me I needed to place another service call and open a new ticket! Now I need my plumber to send his invoice to the warranty company to document that it is the main line still, not the sink drain. Price Right would have to return to fix the issue at their own cost because they didnt fix it to begin with. They know this and are trying to say that this is a different issue so that they get paid a second time. DO NOT trust them!!!! Refuse this company if your home warranty company chooses them for your service!!

I had a similar experience to the other Yelpers who wrote reviews. We had a sewage smell coming from our bathroom so we put in a claim to our Home Warranty company (Home Warranty of America). They sent two men from this company. One was said to be training the other. They told us they were going to check for a leak in the crawl space as well as replace the gasket under the toilet. I didn't think anything of it when I saw his trainee wandering around the outside of our house but I should've. The lead replaced the gasket and said that should fix the smell. They left and I thought all was good. After they left I noticed one of our crawl space vent covers was half pulled out. This vent cover was not even the entrance to our crawl space so he didn't even properly check for a leak. Long story short, the smell is back. I was apprehensive that it was another issue we've come across but after reading these reviews it's probably the inexperience of the company we were assigned.

Horrible service. Came out to fix a leaky pipe and failed to fix it .  Still leaked when they were done.  When they were sent back out to fix problem, they claimed it was a result of excessive force. They were last ones to work on it.  They refused to fix it.  They were contracted by HSA.  Looks like HSA's responsibility doesn't require fixing problems, just collecting $75 service fee per visit.  Wouldn't hire these guys ever for anything.

Seriously the worst company AHS has ever assigned us. Filed claimed, waited 24 hours for someone to contact me only for them to say that they were unable to reach me, liars you NEVER tried to call/email me. Gave them my property managers number to schedule the appointment, said they would call, lied yet again and said I never gave them that information and that they again could not reach me. Called and spoke to the very rude receptionist explaining all of this and she didn't even bother to say I'm sorry. I get that you're lazy and don't want to do your job but at least pretend to be sorry about it.

Had a major plumbing issue and was assigned this company by my warranty company where the warranty ended up not covering it. The technicians were fantastic and they did fix my problem. However, the first time they were out they were unable to fix it and the technician called the office with me, standing there and made me an appointment for the next Tuesday as that's the soonest they could come out I called the day before that appointment and talk to McKenzie. McKenzie advised that there was no appointment on the schedule. Instead of apologizing for the miscommunication and advising, there was an appointment the day after she decided to call me a liar, and that no technician would ever help make an appointment and that I am wrong. When I asked to speak to a manager, she advised that she is the office manager, and I won't talk to anyone else but her (it turns out this was actually a lie. She is not the office manager ) she was very rude the entire phone call and obviously need training on customer service . I have been a customer service manager, and if one of my employees talk to a potential client like this, they would not be employed for very long. I was with the technician when this appointment was made and when he actually talked to McKenzie the previous week. Unfortunately, it turns out McKenzie is the owners daughter and a majority of the bad reviews are about this woman. nepotism at its finest. I was also advised that I would get a callback from the actual office manager, and that also never happened. Unfortunately, this company will no longer get my business after the customer service that I experienced from the office staff which is unfortunate as I was planning on recommending them just due to their price and the technicians. I highly recommend that McKenzie takes some customer service classes on LinkedIn. They are free.

i come from a long line of blue collar guys. ive had many, many 'get your hands dirty' jobs myself. so, im a little confused -- when did plumbers get so dainty and squeamish that they seem like 7 year old girls in pink tutus? we had a clog in the soil stack and water from flushing the toilet baked up intp the tub. I DIAGNOSED THIS, not  them. when  i told them their reply was oh we caint go in ur crawlspace...its all wet! and the cleanout is unaccessible  'unaccessible' apparently includes anything further than 2 inches away. our cleanout is ONE foot from the crawlspace access hatch. Nope, they shook their heads, uh uh. mind u i was already 2/3s of the way under (been there many times) and i DID notice that Mr. Big Tutu MIGHT not be able to squeeze thru. okay. dont be rude i thot, theres another way. so i crawled out when he seriously said: our boss wont let us open the cleanout so you're gonna have to do it and then you have to clean up any waste water and stuff and then maybe we can go under there' um...if i could i would but what exactly am i paying a plumber to do? so, okay, his girth issue, his daintiness...so , hows about up on the roof, snake down thru the vent?' 'Oh...um we didn't bring the BIG ladder. no, i wouldnt imagine u would to a one story, 1950s ranch house. 'here use mine,' i offer. 'Oh we caint go up there cause the boss wont let us...it's all icy. i look 'where?' 'all over it!' nope, no ice, no snow, not even dew. 'and we gotta go, cause our boss wants us off the road by 12:30p cause of the snowstorm!' (that was forecast to START at 4:30p, which it did).  bottom line: they did nothing. they charged a service fee up front (through AHS) and THEN sent in a report to AHS that there was no access because we wouldnt let them under or on the roof!  sadly theyve pulled this scam over and over (reviews online by the dozens). so, on monday im turning this over to the attorney generals fraud squad, the plumbers union and city licensing people. bottom line: RUN!

I contacted my home warranty company who in turn contacted Price Right Plumbing about a water heater issue and came out to my house to inspect the water heater.  After approximately a week I spoke with Price Right who never called me back and stated that my home warranty wouldn't cover this repair.  I later spoke with two different people on two different calls.  The last person I spoke with was Mckenze the manager who stated to me the problem with my heater but had no idea about the previous call that I made to them and that that person had since been fired.  I explained the problem with the invoice that the technician wrote and the guidance that was given from my home warranty company in order to rectify the issue and provide proper information to complete the claim. That guidance was for them to decide what was the primary reason of failure and not the secondary.  Mckenze stated that they wouldn't contact my home warranty company and it would be $850 to replace it.  She was very short with me kept stating it will be $850 as if the money was the only thing that mattered.   The inexperience of this company clearly shows.  No customer service at all from the start.

American Home Shield sent them out to replace my Apollo system water heater. the initial inspection was less than 2 minutes(it had an obvious leak) and they told me I would have to pay $670.00 out of pocket for pipe modifications which is a loop hole they exploit on every AHS water heater contract, without knowing what water heater would go back in. Turns out the same thing went back in but they would even unload the water heater until we paid. I called the company when I was first told about the loop hole scam and asked what the hourly rate was trying to figure out how they justify the expense know if they had to modify every single pipe it would be less than an hour of work, I was told it's a flat rate. that's top notch lawyer kinda of pay. turn out they used shark bite hose couplers(my 1 hour was based on having to solder the four pipes) they did nothing extra to install the water heater that they would not have had to do replace the water heater so a complete rip-off sanctioned by American Home Shield who I called several times begging for help but the refused to do anything even let a more honest company do the install, I even offered to pay a second deductible to help cover the second company, they would let my speak a manager or supervisor to give management a chance to make things right, I'll be doing a separate review if AHS. the only ray of light in this dark endeavor is the guys that did the install were nice but..... the water heater failed inspection because the blocked access to my water shutoff valves. My advice avoid them at all cost, in my opinion if you can't make a business successful honestly you're in the wrong business. I believe the got the contract with AHS by bidding low knowing they could more than make up the difference in their loop hole rip-off scam. If you have AHS and have plumbing problem in Hampton Roads tell them when you call this company is not welcome in your home

American Home Shield assigned Price Right. Taron showed up on time and in a mask. I thought my water heater had gone bad; however he showed me that it was the hot water heater pipe leading to the heater. He explained what he was going to do and was very patient whenever I had a question. After he finished replacing the pipe,  he asked if I had questions. I'm very pleased with the work that he did. Based on his performance, I would use this company again.

Run as fast as you can from this company, believe the other 1 star reviews.  Scam company!  The receptionist is rude, that should have been a clue.   But the 2 service techs, Taron and Sean appeared to be nice and accommodating.  Stating my hot water would need to be replaced.  I honestly did not think that was the issue and possibly the thermostat was bad, but Taron said NO the water is NOT heating properly.  I have a gas water heater and the setting was on very hot, he was able to hold his hand under the hot setting and that is a tip off something is wrong..Even I know that.  Once they could not get approval through American Home Warranty for a new hot water heater, they are not stating everything is working properly.  I don't like being deceived or scammed.  Honesty is always the best policy.  I will refuse to allow them on my property again.  Update, I was just on the phone with First American and what they stated to First American was not what was stated on my invoice.  I am sending a copy of my invoice to FA for review.  I am not faulting First American, they are great and customer service is great, IMO.  But NOT Price Right Plumbing!

Home warranty contracted this company to help with our plumbing issue. To start, 2 stars for the scheduling because it was easy to schedule and the young lady who answers the phone is friendly and professional. As for the service we received, I personally would not use them for anything plumbing related. We didn't have a choice because they were assigned to our home through our home warranty. I read reviews before they came out and I am glad I did because they did EXACTLY what other homeowners stated in the reviews. Make sure to read them so you are prepared when they come to your home. We had a pretty extensive clog in our main line. My husband is VERY handy and can do most home repairs himself. We have a home warranty that was given to us when we bought our home so we figured he could save some time and have a plumber come out and unclog the main line. Two men came out earlier than scheduled which was awesome. Very friendly but that is where it ended. They walked around our house and claimed we didn't have a ground level main line entrance to unclog the line and would have to snake from the roof, which of course, is NOT covered. I told them that is impossible because my husband said it was outside on the ground near the crawlspace. They again said, NO, but pay us the $100 trade fee and here is quote for the roof snake. I called my husband at work and he said call them back because that is BS. They didn't even try to look for it. Who is the plumber here? My husband or these guys??? My husband had to leave work, the plumbers had to come back so my husband could show them where it was at. Again, they didn't even try to look for it. Then it started to sprinkle rain and they said they couldn't do it in the rain. My husband set up a tent for them, haha, to work under. I guess work ethic is different for different people. Ultimately, they unclogged the line, but again, it was a hassle. Had my husband or myself not known anything about plumbing, these guys would have gotten away with this and taken our money. That is insane to me. Other people have had the same issue. PLEASE if you have a home warranty, use another vendor. I learned  you can choose someone else on the list they have. These people are crooks. Would NOT recommend even if you are in a pinch. PLEASE anyone in Hampton Roads, use someone else.

Price Wrong, Diagnosed Wrong, follow up did not happen; left me with a broken toilet.
Sent by American Home Shield (AHS).
Called for what I thought was a wax ring leak on the toilet.
The plumber  told me the flange was installed wrong, but wrote on receipt flange was cracked, it needed 2 people to fix, and they would have to go into crawlspace and cut pipe to be able to replace it all.  After me making 2 calls to them days later, I was told it would cost $4500 to fix it, maybe I was told $4 - 500; whatever.   They basically got paid to come out for AHS and remove the toilet and misdiagnose, that's it. Did nothing else after that. Left me hanging, and I had to follow up with them twice! Unprofessional.
When I called the first time to find out what that status was, I could not hear the woman on phone due to piano music playing loudly in background... unprofessional.  I was told I would be called back.  No callback. Called them again the next day; waited on hold to get a price that was way too high.
I called my regular plumber instead.  The flange was not cracked at all.  He found the previous homeowner installed flooring higher than the flange, added several wax rings, and set the toilet.  My regular plumber correctly diagnosed the problem, installed a repair ring for height, installed a new wax ring. All Fixed for $180.  Price Right was a waste of my time and money.

I was very disappointed with my experience with Price Right Plumbing. I was recommended to call them from my home warranty company. I called the company twice before every receiving a call back. When I did receive a call back, I could not get to the phone fast enough and missed the call. I called them immediately back and was not able to reach anyone. After several more times of calling and even leaving a voicemail with a very open schedule on my part just pleading for someone to call me back and give me an appointment time over a weeks time, I never even heard back from anyone. I finally had to go with another company, who answered immediately when I called. Very disappointed with the customer service I received.
