Precision Plumbing & Drain Cleaning

I was so excited to receive a response indicating it's never too late to call them back out.  When I phoned I was told they'd send a supervisor out however, they did not.  They sent another young guy.  While Joe was here he replaced the parts in the one of the 2 toilets they were supposed to repair the first time.  I asked for an estimate to repair the kitchen sink that was stopped up and backing up into the dishwasher.  I kept explaining it to him and putting emphasis on the smell.  He said he couldn't smell anything but he replaced the basket strainer and installed another garbage disposal that I'd purchased the night before.  He never addressed the smell or touched the dishwasher or nor the large U shaped pipe underneath the sink that I explained was also producing this smell.  It just dawned on me that a plumber I called prior to Precision returning listened to me explain the symptoms once and he immediately told me there's still water in the dishwasher from it being backed up.  Now I wish I had let him come out because the smell is still so strong that I haven't been able to eat or watch TV in the kitchen.  I just keep thinking that if the plumber on the phone knew that he'd have to check and drain the dishwasher just from my description why didn't Joe even open the dishwasher or U shaped pipe while he was here replacing the basket strainer and garbage disposal.  I'm out another $237 in labor plus the $119 for the garbage disposal and the dishwasher leaves a thick, starchy substance on all the dishes and puts out this strong, toxic smell so I've been forced to wash dishes by hand every since my second visit from Precision.  I just don't think he was thorough if the plumber on the phone new the dishwasher needed to be drained inside, sight unseen.  Planning to call one last time as soon as they open in the morning.

We used them to install a new kitchen faucet. It was very easy to make an appointment and they came out very quickly. They were on time and did an excellent job. Fair price and great customer service.

After a couple weeks of trying to fix a clogged pipe myself, I called this morning because my kitchen sink has been backing up.   Mike was able to come just a couple hours later which was great.  He was very professional and quick to fix my problem.   He also gave me some tips.  Wish I would've called sooner

I called multiple times to inquire about having someone come by to check out my water heater issues, and it went to voicemail each time. No problem, they are all probably busy. I understand. But the voice mailbox was full and I could not even leave a message to have the company call me back.

Thank you Precision Plumbing for getting my plumbing issue fixed. Don't know what caused the plumbing issue but they were at my house within the hour and everyone else we called said they could be there in the morning or in 48 hours which was crazy. There was no way that amount of water could sit on my bathroom floor for that long without causing additional damage. So thanks again for your excellent service.

So happy with the service I got from this company.  Robert and Ryan came promptly and gave me an estimate on the work.  Once I agreed, they were out the very next day to fix it!  Amazing service and they were on time both times.  I am so glad I went with them.  
I had a very different experience with another plumber who I could not get on the phone and when I finally did, he said he would come at a certain time on a certain date and never did!  Totally wasted my time and when I called him to follow up, he said oops I forgot!  Are you kidding me!

Unethical. I'm only one review against a behemoth of a company but trust me, if they screw up in your house, they'll find a way not to take responsibility.

Despite of me missing the call back to confirm an appointment twice, these guys were graceful and professional. Clint came out, diagnosed the problem, including crawling under the house, replaced the faulty part, pulled out some metal part that broke and was clogging the pipe since a while ago. I am a satisfied customer. The charge was fair as well.

In late April, we had Precision Plumbing come out for a toilet and tub backing up in our investment property in Virginia Beach. They charged us $487.50 to snake the line through the roof vent where nothing was pulled back. This didn't fix the problem and they came out a few days later and charged us $637.00 to clean the main line from the roof vent, pushing through the hard stoppage, and still, the camera line from the main roof vent did not find any issues with the sewer line. Not happy with their charging policies. They didn't fix it the first time and charged us even more the second time.

Precision Plumbing was at my house less than 24 hours after I called them. My plumber, Mike, called in advance of his visit and was right on time. He completed the quality repairs in less than an hour and gave me a nice military discount as a veteran/retiree.

Called on a Monday for a water spot on my ceiling, and they came out the next day. Figured out it was the toilet leaking from being incorrectly installed, repaired the toilet and explained what he was doing every step of the way. Really affordable for the work preformed and extra mile to correct someone else's mistakes!!

Well, it took a bit longer than I (and they) expected, but they worked through some hiccups and completed the job nicely.  After discovering that some of their equipment was faulty, they eventually got everything they needed and got my kitchen snaked.  They also didn't charge me extra, even though they had to do it from the roof.  Although it took 4 hours (what would probably have taken under 2hrs if everything was working right), I was very grateful that Precision stayed late on a Friday night to get it all done, and get it done correctly!

I've never needed a plumber before, so when I had a clog that was backing up everything (and I mean everything) through my downstairs shower and all of my efforts were exhausted I started looking. I saw Precision Plumbing had a near perfect rating on Yelp with not one negative review so I gave them a call and if I had to do it all over again not only would they would be at the top of my list, but my list would only contain one name.
Robert and Bobby came out and took care of my issue and were both professional and courteous the entire time. They have certainly earned my business should I ever have a plumbing need that I cannot handle alone. Highly recommended.

October 2014-present. Paul and his guys are awesome, they have done work on about six houses for us here in Hampton Roads. They have re-plumbed an entire house, installed fixtures, dishwashers, hot water heaters, etc. Very professional, easy to work with, and reasonably priced. Awesome. Won't use any other plumber.

Great service tech Brian was very helpful and worked diligently to resolve my late night plumbing issue.

Way too expensive at 95 dollars a hour per person broke my bank, I will need to go to the salvation army for toilet paper. Sad.

My pipes have been clogged for about week  i called them at around 11 a.m. and they said theyd be to my house around 130-400. I seriously almost cried because literally a week leaving to go to walmart to use the restroom with 4 adults and 5 kids is stressful!!! And tomorrow being thanksgiving, and me being the cook, it literally brought tears to my eyes. So they came around 3. I was making sweet potato piess (: & they went right to work. It was amazing that they came last minute and got in and out with no problems. And they were very very professional. Great place to work with. Awesome.

It's been a few years so it's time for another review update.  These guys really rock.  I know they only have 18 reviews on Yelp but every single one of them is a full five stars.  That is pretty rare and truly impressive.  This company doesn't do any advertising so their entire business is driven by word of mouth and referrals.  Every time they've been to my house they've done a great job at fair and reasonable prices, they also stand behind their work.  I've had urgent plumbing issues in the past and Precision responded very quickly to take care of the problems.  

Today's visit wasn't urgent so it was planned ahead.  I had called a few days earlier to schedule service for today, the woman I spoke with on the phone was very polite and pleasant.  This morning, Mike called and said he was on the way to our house, he arrived on time and immediately went to work on the problems we were having.  He completed work in our bathroom and kitchen in a timely manner and cleaned up after himself which was much appreciated.  Throughout the service call Mike was pleasant and professional.  He is an engaging young man who is very approachable and easy to engage in conversation.  He demonstrated his competence and knowledge as he explained everything to us as he was doing it.  

Whether it's an emergency or just some plumbing things you need done Precision is on top of things.  They consistently do great work.  It doesn't matter who shows up for your service, everyone is completely competent and does great quality work.  It's very difficult to find honest and competent service contractors in today's environment so I am very appreciative of the ability and integrity I've witnessed from Precision Plumbing & Drain Cleaning.  I recommend them without hesitation.

These guys were great. Another contractor doing some work discovered a leak that caused them to have to pause their job. I called Precision and they were out first thing the next day. They gave me a price up front that was very fair, got the work done in an hour, and did a fine job. They were extremely friendly, personable and a joy to work with. I highly recommend them for plumbing needs.

I am a second time customer to Precision, both with fantastic experiences.  Most recently, I had two toilets and a 20 year old water heater replaced.  They were on time, professional, courteous, and cleaned up after their work.  I highly recommend them.

Saved the day on a Sunday.  Had main line clog, we couldn't use anything in the house.  He came in a half hour, and cleared it quickly.  Definitely call again.

I am extremely happy with Precision Plumbing. My toilet needed to be replaced, so I checked Google and Yelp for the best rated plumbers in the area. I called over half a dozen, none of which would give me a quote over the phone. They all wanted to send out someone out to give the estimate, which would cost X number of dollars.  Of course, that fee would apply towards the work, if we went ahead. Nope.  I called Precision and they gave me an estimate over the phone, so I went with them. The plumber showed up on time and was kind enough to pick up the toilet I bought at Home Depot, as I can't lift it due to a broken rib. He installed the new toilet quickly, did a great job and left the bathroom clean. There was only one issue.  They had charged me a higher rate than quoted.  When I brought it to their attention, they admitted their mistake, took responsibility,  and immediately resolved the issue.  I do not feel they were trying to cheat me in any way or get out of it, even though it lost them $75.    I would definitely use them again .

I called this morning about a clogged shower drain, and a toilet that keeps backing up. Precision Plumbing was able to come to my house today, and checked everything out. They gave me some suggestions, but determined that the clogs had cleared and didn't charge me!  Wow, I am impressed.

With all this cold weather, we had a hot water copper pipe split.  We called Precision Saturday night and he said he'd come out first thing Sunday morning.  He came, fixed the problem in a reasonably short time.  He didn't make a mess, was so nice and gave us helpful advice.  They are our plumbers from now on.

Had no hot water and needed a plumber. Always afraid to call a plumber but this plumber was referred by a friend. Great experience! They offered to come out late at night to get my hot water back on and also offered helpful advice over the phone.  They had low prices and fantastic service. Would definitely use them again!

My parents had us all in town for Thanksgiving.   On Black Friday, my dad and his neighbor worked all afternoon trying to fix the plumbing problem from the outside by snaking all the vents.  By 4:30 pm it was pretty clear it was time to call a professional.  My sister first called a competitor, but something told me to try and find another plumber.  I'm so glad I did!

Melissa, the dispatcher, answered the phone.  She was very pleasant and genuinely concerned.  She said she'd call Mike who was already out working a job.  He eventually called us to say he had another job before reaching us.  Unfortunately, it meant we had to wait a few hours, but the service we received was totally worth the wait.  My dad said Mike was a true professional, he talked to my dad as he worked through the problem each step of the way.  After an hour and a half, our plumbing problem was fixed and at a very reasonable rate.  My mom even gave Mike a plate of cookies to show her appreciation.

When someone treats my parents as well as Mike (and Precision Plumbing) did, I have to let others know about them.  I highly recommend them!

I thought that I had a frozen pipe and called Precision Plumbing to start the process of getting it fixed. However first they walked me through steps to make sure that it could be fixed by me without having to have him come over. I was really lucky and their fix worked, and I was so happy to have received their help at no cost. If I have problems that need help I am definitely going to call them.

Living in an older house guarantee plumbing issues and they handled the problem efficiently n quickly in the snow of 2015.  Referred them to my aunt who was very pleased with their service.  Highly recommended.

This family owned company was very professional and quick to respond. The work ethics and quality workmanship was a 100 percent satisfaction. I would definitely use them again.

The drain from my washer to the main line was clogged.  I thought I could snake the pipe myself but I couldn't get the snake to work properly in the pipe.  I called precision plumbing and was able to get this cleared.  The lady answering the phone was polite and took my information and scheduled me in.  The plumber, Kenny Barnes was at my house within about an hour and was able to clear the drain within minutes! An electric snake is the way to go obviously and the skill to get it done.  Precision was half the price of the last plumbers I had out. I don't remember who they were although they did a good job.  I am keeping precision's number in my phone for sure.  Military/first responder discount to top it off.  Thanks.

I recently had a leaking pipe that was under my second story bathroom tile and it left water damage on my first story bedroom ceiling. I called precision plumbing mid day and they were able to schedule an appointment the next morning where as other plumbing companies would not have been able to see me until 5 days later. Kenny was my technician and he was punctual, accommodating, polite and very professional. He elaborated on any concerns I had. He did an excellent job locating the leak and fixing the problem. The job was affordable and I would gladly welcome their services again. Thank you for a job well done.

they are the best!!  I called in the am because my shower handle for the hot water didn't want to turn off and they came out that morning - fixed everything at a very reasonable price - Mike was the technician and he couldn't have been nicer - I fell you should share when you have a great experience since there are so many bad companies out there - Precision deserves all your work!!!  they are fantastic!!
