What a joke this over priced owner is, first of all he tried to charge me $1500.00 to dig a few feet down and cut a pipe and replace it. After he gave me that ridiculous bid on the back of his business card I said I would think about it, he then proceeded to turn around in my driveway and backed in to my brick garage shifting the whole column and cracking a number of bricks he then tried to drive off as I ran out of the house yelling. He stopped and got out of his pick up truck and looked and said its only a few bricks I will have my friend come look at it. he did say he was sorry, A few days later we called and sent pictures and asked for his insurance information. To make a long story short he refuses to do so, this is the lowest form of a business there is, he wants to send chuck in a truck to fix my house, not going to happen after what he pulled, I had the pipe fixed by another plumbing company for $255.00 all I did was dig it up, it took 2 hours. beware of these kinds of rip offs. A good plumber is one thing, a bad plumber is one that wants your money for minimal work, the days are gone for a fair days pay for a fair days work. Don't feel like your at their mercy, Now the fun begins

HEB has been great with my plumbing issues.  i live in a older home and Ron has been great!

I am extremely grateful for the professional expertise of HEB Plumbing.  I had a slow running drain in a house that was built in the 70's so yes I knew there could be major problems, but I have never really had that many problems other than a backed up toilet or a clog in the kitchen sink all of which just needed snaked.  So when I called another plumbing company and they showed up late looked at the problem and then only snaked my double sink from inside and came back with I had a cracked pipe under the foundation without running a camera and quoted me $3650 to jack hammer through the foundation, tear up my tile and only replace to rough concrete AND was not for sure if that would fix the problem!  Really?  I knew I needed a second opinion.  I explained the problem to HEB Plumbing and with their experience of dual sinks, asking if they had snaked the pipe from the roof or inside well let's just say I felt more confident in 5 minutes on the phone with them vs 30 minutes with Royal flush.  HEB did not guarantee that would fix the problem until they saw it but they felt it would.  Sure enough I cannot say enough good things about this company.  The professional service from start to finish.  The professional expertise at all times and the fact that snaking from the roof worked.  So yes I am so happy that they saved me thousands of dollars and a headache, but even if the outcome had been the broken pipe, I would have trusted them due to how they explained the situation.  Ron and Dustin did a great job and I highly recommend them for all your Plumbing needs.   Thanks Guys you are the best!

This place is awful.  I scheduled an appointment and took off early from work to come home.  They were supposed to come any time after 3:30 and never did.  I called around 5:00 as a reminder that I had an appointment.  The lady I talked to confirmed my appointment and said that they should be there by 5:30 or 6:00.  I never heard back from them and no one ever showed up.  I imagine the quality of their work probably matches up with the quality of their low budget joke of a website that's one long page.  I'll just rent an auger from Home Depot and save $80.

Update... They called me at 8:40 pm shortly after I posted this review.  Needless to say I said that they could forget coming by.  I'll look elsewhere.

HEB plumbing does great work at very reasonable prices, Ron always does a great job.
never use any other plumbing co. best plumbers in the area. i always call them when i need a plumber.

I called HEB Monday of this week about rebuilding 2 toilet tanks, incl. tank to toilet gasket and bolts. They had a 'tank rebuild' spl. online for $99 which I thought might apply even if I had to pay extra for bolts. When I spoke to the receptionist she didn't indicate a problem and said someone would be here between 1 and 3 Tues. to do the work. Tues. came and by 4, no plumber so called their office and was told that at last call they had an emergency water htr. replacement and were running late. By 6 I called back and the lady was very apologetic and offered to re-book for next day after 10a, which I agreed to. About 11:30a Wed I get a call from her and she puts Juan the plumber on the phone to tell me why my job doesn't qualify for the $99 spl. (Surprise, Surprise!) I then  asked what the price would be and he estimated $350 for the 2! I reluctantly agreed and when I asked when he was coming out he said 2-3 hours. Again, no show and no call so at about 6p I called and cancelled. Fool me once and shame on you, fool me twice and shame on me! Bottom line is I don't know about their plumbing ability but I wouldn't recommend them because of these reasons alone. As far as their reply to one of the reviews here about having the best rates, I can challenge that as well, at least for this job. Their price was about average of the 5 other companies I called before making a decision. I assume they'll have one of their defensive responses to this but considering all of those on yelp, that ought to raise red flags for those looking for a plumber.

If I could give them a zero I would.  They came out Saturday, Feb 7th, and told me I needed to replace my hot water heater, which would  cost would be $1250.00 to $1300.00. The next day, I had a different plumbing company come in, and they said I only needed to replace a $35.00 pressure release valve.

On Sunday, September 18th, Ron Winn with HEB Plumbing came out to the house, about 1 1/2 hour, after our initial call.  We had both bathrooms flooding, and needed a main drain clean out.  They charged us $180, which in retrospect, and viewing their website, should've been $160, with numerous discounts available.  Of course, no mention of any this.  They unclogged the drain, told us not to use flush-able wipes, wrote the invoice, and we're gone, within 30 minutes.

Fast forward to Friday, September 23, it was clogged, again.  My wife tried to call, numerous times, while I was at work, leaving messages, with no reply.  When I got home, I called, numerous times, and left an email.  Seeing as, we (over)paid for a service, from a company that states 24/7 Warranty Service, we continued to call, and make contact, to redo the clean out.  No one called, replied to my email, or anything.

On Sunday, September 25, I waited till 11:30 am, for some type of reply.  At least, call, or email, and tell us that your not going to stand by your policies, you so proudly, broadcast on your website.  I decided to go to Home Depot, and rent an auger, similar to what the plumbers used.  This cost me $79, which is what I should've done in the first place.  I cleaned out the drain, and so far, so good.

I don't understand the lack of integrity our society has reduced itself to.  I want to expose those who can't, or won't, live up to what they state, for the sake of those hard working, upstanding businesses.

Don't send your business their way, there are plenty of other plumbing services available, or DIY, like I had to.

Called them at 10 AM on a Sunday morning and was advised it would be three hours before they would come and repair our toilet, after 6 hours I called and received no answer , left a message and no call back. If they were not going to show up it would have been nice if they could have called so I could call someone else,they did the same to my mother-in law but I chose to try them,what a mistake,hard to believe a business could be so rude

I hired HEB Plumbing to replace the toilet flange to solve a rocking toilet problem I was having. When I booked the work I told them what the problem was & what I needed them to do. I told them the flange was probably broken because the toilet had started rocking. I would normally do this task myself,but I was having some issues with my back at the time.
I asked the girl that answered the phone what the cost would be & she said it would be $80 per hour + materials. So I figured 1 hour & maybe $25 for parts. The guy shows up, pulls the toilet & says he has to go back to the shop to get the flange. Why didn't he have it on the truck or the 10' trailer he was pulling??? I told them what I needed when I booked the job. I didn't think much about it because according to their ad, their office was 5 minutes away. Well, an hour later he shows back up & told me some story about he had to look all over the shop to find this repair flange. He went on to tell me that it was a $65 part & that any other plumbing company would have wanted to jack-hammer up the floor & I would have had to replace about 6 floor tiles. Well, I knew that was baloney, but the guy liked to talk, so whatever.
After he had the toilet in place, he wanted to caulk all around the base of the toilet & that it would strengthen the toilet. Again I'm scratching my head, wondering what he was talking about. Caulk is used as a sealant, not a grout.  I told him I didn't want caulk on my ceramic tile floor & grout, that I didn't like the appearance & the cleaning & maintenance problems it could cause in the future. He argued with me for minute, then shifted gears & said he was required to tell me that he had installed a repair flange not a replacement flange. Why? This $65 part doesn't work as well the $10 flange you can get at any hardware store? I should have smelled a rat right then, but it was an easy job that any handyman should be able to perform. When he gave me the bill & he's charged me $118 for the $65 part, then charged me 3 hours labor, for a total of $365.
To be fair, I DID ask him to give me his opinion on a shower leak I was having in my master bath. So what should have been a 5 minute conversation turned in to another half hour after he insisted on checking my shower pan for leaks. Did I mention that he liked to talk, but had to stop working while he talked? Anyway, I just marked the whole thing off to experience & to get a set price up front before I let a serviceman perform any work.
Being that it was the guest bath, I didn't realize there was a problem until about a week later when my wife alerted me that the toilet was rocking worse than it was before. Not only was it still rocking, now it would turn left & right.
I immediately sent a message via internet to Ron Winn that I was unhappy with the service & the price I was charged. I made mention that the toilet had been reset 12 years early by the tile man that set the tile & never had a problem. And I found it hard to believe that a licensed plumber couldn't get the job done. I did not request a refund, just that I wanted the job I'd booked & paid them to do done correctly. I also requested he send someone else to complete this task as I didn't have faith in the plumber he first sent. I added that maybe he might have his workers might clean their drop cloths more often, as I had to sweep & mop the floor after he left. It wasn't a rude note just direct & to the point, voicing my feelings about the workmanship.  
Apparently, Ron Winn felt differently about my complaint. After about a week of not hearing from this company, I started trying to call them, but got nothing but a busy signal . . . for hours. So I sent an email to [email protected], stating that I'd been trying to call for several days & would he contact me so we could resolve this issue. Again, not being rude or aggressive, more pleading with him to work with me to resolve the problem. I had to go out of state for 10 days & had not heard from them, so I started trying to call them again, this time getting the fax machine.
I sent them a 3rd email 11/7/13 stating that if I didn't hear from them by the end of the day 11/8 that I would proceed with whatever means needed to resolve this problem. I'm pretty sure the easiest thing for both of us, would be for HEB Plumbing to do the job I paid you to do to start with & we could put this matter behind us.
I feel I've been more than patient with this company to resolve this problem & have giving them plenty of to respond. Now it's my turn, this is the kind of service that gives ALL other contractors a bad name.

Update: 2 years after posting I get this response from the owner :  11/16/2015  Hey David, we repaired your toilet flange just like you told us to, after all, you were a maintenance man for over 20 years you said and told us just how to make the repair. Next time a master plumber recommends how to make a plumbing repair, you may just wanna listen

We had HEB replace a garbage disposal and also fix a crack in a kitchen/AC drain which involved jackhammering down into the slab and running new PVC pipe. Ron and his crew worked until 11:00 at night and were back again the next morning to finish up in two days! They were very intent on doing good work and explained every step of the process. Provided a written proposal before work began and there were no hidden charges. Prompt response time, experienced workmen, fair pricing - we'll use HEB again!

Unprofessional and overpriced. Also took our shower head that was new without asking and never gave it back.

GREAT SERVICE!!

Needed to have a loose toilet reattached to the floor.  Called Thursday morning the 12th and Ron came a couple of hours later and took care of the issue. Turned out to be a little more difficult than expected due to a 'not so good' previous repair job in years past but it is now as good as new.

Could not be HAPPIER with the service.  Would most definitely recommend HEB Plumbing!

HEB Plumbing showed up on time and Aaron was polite and GREAT! We thought we had a leaking sewer line but Aaron snaked it out and found no breaks! YIPPEE!! Cleaned out a small clog or two and our kitchen sink drains better than it has in the six years we have lived in our home. Very happy with HEB Plumbing and their service! We will keep their number handy for future plumbing needs.

HEB plumbing answered an evening call to try and resolve my plumbing woes. Another plumber came in prior and busted a hole in my toilet. Ron came in and pulled the toilet and plugged the sewage gas that was leaking into my house due to another plumber that did a horrible job. HEB plumbing came in and saved the day and resolved all my plumbing issues. They even installed a new toilet that I bought as a courtesy. Plumbing issues are never fun, however HEB worked hard right before he holidays and gave us a major peace of mind. I highly recommend HEB plumbing for all your plumbing needs. The scope of our project included replacing our entire concrete/cement sewer line with PVC. Now we have good slopes and out toilets flush properly. Thanks again to Ron and his team.

They did not complete the job.. no calls/no show..  Ron said he came by, but ring door camera says differently.. did not show  anyone but amazon delivering a package.  When I questioned Ron on this, he went silent and hung up on me.

I have never given any business a negative online review before.  But I have also never received such terrible customer service from a business as I've received from HEB Plumbing in Bedford, Texas.

They worked on a relatively small leak in the main water line to my house a few weeks ago.  The plumber was friendly and seemed to know what he was doing, and I had planned to have them to do additional plumbing renovations in the near future.

Five days ago I noticed that the leak had returned and called them to come out and honor their warranty.  They made an appointment but never showed up and never called to tell me that they would not be able to make it.

I called them and was told that they were busy with a bigger job and that they would get to my repair when they could.

The leak rapidly worsened to the point that I had to completely shut off the water at the meter.  I have called and emailed them but they have still not scheduled an appointment, and we have been without water for 3 days.

I finally called one of their competitors and doubt that I will ever hear from HEB Plumbing again.

I will never do business with HEB Plumbing again.

I would highly recommend H-E-B plumbing. Ron came out on a Saturday morning and solved our plumbing issues that a previous plumber was not able to solve. He was professional, friendly and finished the repairs in a timely manner.  Do yourself a favor and call them first if you have plumbing issues. You'll even find that their prices are very reasonable. Thank you Ron and HEB plumbing!

Ron with HEB plumbing is the absolute best!! The entire experience was very positive in setting up service.  I will definitely use HEB plumbing for any future needs.

Have called them out twice this year for different reasons and would call again.  Very satisfied with both attitude and level of service.  Saved us some serious money.   Not the cheapest per hour, but overall job costs each time were a good value.  I particularly liked the way work was estimated, then progress on the task explained to me as the work was being done.

Would have given 5 stars, but not enough call-outs to get a feel for overall capabilities and response times.  My wife and I were both favorably impressed, however.   Perhaps in the future.

HEB recently installed two water heaters in our home. They showed up on time and did an excellent job.  The plumber and his assistant worked steadily and explained what they were doing and why. They found a major issue in our vent systems that could have been a dangerous situation. The vent pipes were clogged with debris from birds and squirrels. They cleared the debris and even climbed on our roof to remove a bird nest at the top of the vent. I would definitely call them again for our plumbing needs.

So the owner just replied to my review, but the person he referenced is not me. And it's absolutely inappropriate to share someone's name, address, and phone number in that manner.  But actually I'm a female with a home in another city, and there was ZERO communication after my initial call where I was told someone would be out.   Emails were not returned, and the one time your phone actually rang instead of having a busy signal, I left a voicemail that was unreturned.  Thanks for judging the level of my emergency though.  I didn't have time to look for a million other plumbers, and my drain was draining just slow, so I waited out hoping to hear from you.  I am sure there are plenty of plumbing emergencies, but if you say you are going to be to a customer's house and you can't make it, CALL.  But after coming to this site to see if other people had the same problems, and seeing all of these responses, I can't imagine letting this company in my home.  These responses are so rude, inappropriate, and self righteous.  

I own a business, and I'll work until 3am to finish filling customer's orders.  Even though this company touts 24/7 service, that apparently isn't the case.  

If you want to check out my other reviews, you will see which company I submitted a contact form on their website on Sunday night, and called me at 8am Monday and they had my drain cleaned by 11am Monday for $191.

No call no showed on us after promising to call and be there within a few hours. We WAITED ALL FREAKING DAY when I could have called a different company. Now my water bill will be outrageous. So disrespectful.

THREE TIMES they set an appointment to come out to my house and do some plumbing work on my shower and twice they no call no showed. Then they tried to make up some excuse about how there was an emergency plumbing situation at a nursing home and they had to attend to it. That might fly if it was only once, but definitely was just an excuse after THREE times. I will never ever consider using this company again.

I was in the process of selling my house. We had to have foundation work done which required a hydrostatic test afterwards to verify there was no damage to the plumbing. The foundation company had someone perform the test. He had to do the test 3 times because he couldn't get a good seal on the pipes or he didn't want to dig up the clean out drain.

When he finished he stated that we failed the test, and of course referred us to the sister company (Integrity Plumbing/IPR) that of course is a plumbing company. So...like a dummy I called them out to locate my leak. They showed up on time at 9:00 AM, and the guy was there until 4:00 PM. He said he would show me any leaks that he found on his camera, and also would make sure that I was made aware of what damages needed to be repaired. At 4:00 he came to me not having shown me any pictures or anything but quoting me $17K worth of repairs. I was shocked. He left and called me back about 30 minutes later stating that he had misquoted me...it should have only been $10K.

Of course I wanted a second opinion. In comes HEB plumbing and Ron Winn to the rescue. Ron explained the procedure to properly do a hydrostatic test, which was not done by the other guy. Ron quoted me off of the quote/diagram from the other quote, and was only $4700. Ron insisted on performing the hydrostatic test first and was only willing to do the work if the test failed.

Ron performed the test on our clean water combing into the house and our sewer lines leaving the house. There was no leak at all. Ron performed the test exactly how he stated that the test needed to be performed. He went above and beyond and allowed the test to go for an hour and a half when it only needed to go for 15 minutes.

Ron was very thorough in his explanations as to why he does stuff, and how things need to be done. He made sure to explain things in layman terms so that I wasn't confused or misled by anything.

I would recommend Ron Winn and HEB to anyone who wants someone honest and thorough. I will use Ron from now on for any work.

I gave ONE star to this HEB Pluming company because there is no way to give a ZERO star on this Web page.  I called HEB Plumbing Friday Oct 18, 2019 (817-283-0183) because a leak at my house front yard.  They schedule me for Saturday Sat OCT 19, 2019 between the hours of 9:00 to 11:00 AM. Come Sat 19 about 11:05 am I called them because they did not show up yet.  They told me that the night before they worked until 3:00 am in a gas leak and they are running late.  They told me that they will be at my house in 2-3 hours. Well, it is 5:00 pm and they still do not show up yep.  I give them a call again to see what it is going on because, the day light is beginning to vanish into the night.   Once again, another excuse plus another lie.  They said I am next, and they will be at my house in 30 minutes. They never show up at my house and they didn't have the decency to call me and tell me that they cannot make it.  Don't trust this HEB Plumbing Company!

I think they are out of business now. I have called and called for days, only to get a busy signal. I have emailed several times, with no response. I am left with an estimate and no one to perform the much needed work. :-(

I had a great experience replacing faucets of our two bathrooms. Ron was very knowledgeable and detailed. I will definitely call them again for my house plumbing needs.

I used the plumbers at HEB Plumbing several times over the last 20 years. Most recently, they installed my new water heater. Always a job well done.

I had called on a Friday evening around 630 pm to have a plumber come out due to our washing machine drain pipe overflowing and backing up into kitchen sink. I was told that the plumber had just been sent out but that he was near my location and would be sent over when he was finished. They could not provide an ETA which I was fine with considering plumber was on another job. 4 HOURS LATER no one had shown up so I tried to call them back and received a fax line. Needless to say no one ever showed up and I never received a phone call
