This review is solely based on the outstanding service we received from Technician
Hunter Livingston. (Service date 12/2/22 at 8am.) He was prompt, friendly, respectful, very professional, and very knowledgeable. The techs that come out are the face of the company. And in that regard, Hunter was an amazing brand ambassador for Weeks! Either clone him or hire more Hunters. We appreciate him much!
I can't speak to the quality of service but I can speak to the poor communication that meant I didn't even use Weeks. I scheduled an appointment for a tuneup online. The window was 8 am to 1 pm. It's a HUGE time window, but Weeks told me I could call the morning of to get a narrower time frame. So I did; I called around 7:30 am and spoke with Faith, who said my tech would arrive at 12 pm. Great, I thought, so I went to run errands. I got a call at 10:33 am from the tech. He was at my house, an hour and a half early. I informed him of my earlier conversation. Madison then called me three minutes later to tell me that since I booked online, the tech was within his time window, and we'd have to reschedule for next week.
What?!
Madison also said she didn't know why Faith had told me 12. And that the tech was only an hour early (no, he was an hour and a half early, but nice try).
I canceled the appointment because if they can't even give me accurate information and then try to gaslight me over a time another employee had given me, I can only imagine the scam they'd pull once they had access to my HVAC systems.
And when I expressed the poor communication to Madison, she insisted that they were within their time window. So why tell me to call to get a more accurate time? Is my time not as valuable as theirs? Why not just say, It's going to be between 8 and 1 and leave it at that?
I just wanted to update my review. The response I received from Weeks to my review regarding resolving the issue was a lie. They only respond in a way to make it seems to others their trying to remedy the issue but their not. You might have other good reviews, but I hear most are fake.

Weeks air conditioning part of the company is absolutely terrible and 10/10 wouldn't recommend to anybody. They came to our home 5 times within a matter of 1 1/2 weeks and the problem was never fixed. There was always a new problem every time they came out. Every technician had something different to say. I think this company is old and running straight down hill. They just want to suck out as much money as they can from people. We've had to suffer with no working ac in the mid summer of Texas for over a week. We had a new company come out for a second opinion, and the ac was up and working with no problems the very next morning for a fraction of the cost weeks was quoting. Don't waste your time, or give this company any business endless you like throwing money away. I could go on and on with details but there is just no use. Simply just a business you'd waste money hiring/trusting.
Spencer and Alec were the crew that came in and installed 3 new ceiling fans, swapped out another and relocated and installed a new light fixture in the dining room. Excellent workmanship, very polite and courteous. They were neat while working and clean up afterwards.
They showed up on time and came in at estimate. Very pleased with them.
Terrific value and quality of work.

Do NOT recommend Weeks Air Conditioning service!
Called them to service my system on 5/04/2017. System running fine, just wanted it serviced before super hot weather hit. Weeks technician said we had a leak and tried to sell us a whole new system. Called Majestic Air, tech found no leak, no problem at all. My system is still running just fine. Weeks lied to us about leak and just wanted to sell us an unneeded system.
Getting close to 2 years since weeks tec . said I had leak in air cond. system & needed system replaced . My system is running just fine 2 years later, without being replaced. Important to research companies and pay close attention to customer reviews.

Donald came by immediately after calling because our electric panel burned and we had a brand new up to code panel with new meter box and breaker box within 24hours done by Rey and Jeff . Whom were extremely professional.
They never left the house and heavy rain came .
They came inside for a brief second .
But they stayed with us never left and got the job done
To me it doesn't get any better than that
Weeks Service Company reached out to me after the review on YELP. The service manager explained there was a miscommunication and gave me all the information that was needed. This was very much appreciated.

Highly recommend! Weeks came out the same day I called them (Saturday). I was totally expecting the tech to tell me I needed a new unit because I was told by a different tech last year that I needed a new unit within 5 months. Weeks tech told me the motor went out and that I still have 4 years left on my unit. Tech ordered the part in front of me. He did a temp fix so that the air would blow cold until he could get back out to install the new motor which was Monday. Derrick is the techs name. He was professional, knowledgeable and honest. I will request him for future service. Weeks stayed in contact with me from the beginning to the end. Called me to let me know the tech was in route and the parts dept. called to let me know they ordered the part. A little pricey BUT you get what you pay for. I don't mind paying more than I wanted too when I receive great service.
Both Matthew and Kevin were masked. They placed tarps before they started work and wore booties. The installation was exceptional, from the strapping of the outside condenser to the connections in the attic. They went on hands and knees during cleanup to make sure no particles were left.
We requested a technician to check out our water heater. Weeks sent an HVAC technician, who said he was not qualified for water heaters. Since he was here, we asked him to check out a gas heating system. He said it would take 2 hours, and would have to dis-assemble the entire system, at $120/Hour, and he would have to turn on the heater to high and run it up to maximum. Long story short, he spent 15 minutes at our home, our thermostat is not working, so he could not turn the heater on, said after he saw the Amana sticker on our HVAC, he had to look no further. Charged us $127. Crooks. Posting this on Next Door Neighbor and all social media if you charge for this work.
Woke up on a Saturday morning to an AC unit not working. Placed a call a someone actually picked up the phone. Made an appointment and was told it would be late afternoon before a tech will out to help us. To our surprise maybe 30-45 mins later received a call that a technician was on his way. George was pleasant to work with and completed the repair and our unit was working again. Very professional and would recommend their services.

Shady Crooks!! We began using weeks simply because we saw the truck in our neighborhood and the service man said they offer a seasonal maintenance program.
Our A/C is very old but has been faithful. Had service/check up a few months ago. They guy kept saying we needed to buy a new system. This weekend our system stopped cooling. Had them come, filled with freon for almost $500 and the sales man (service man) told everyone of age that we should buy a new system. Only $8700 and they did payments with no interest for 6 months, or we could replace the coil for $2700 to stop the leak. I told him we were waiting. He said your AC will NOT last the summer! So we decided it was expensive and to get several quotes... Next day, different company, guy comes down with photos. Weeks man left the cap loose on the freon, ensuring it would not last!! AND we can replace the system for less than $5000. Unethical, criminals!!!
We have used Weeks for 15 years and only ever had one issue with one of their technicians failing to close the condensation line in our attic, resulting in damage from the attic, through the second floor and down into the first-floor garage. They fixed the damage without a problem.
Now we are planning to have the ducting replaced and will be using them again. We are looking forward to having our A/C function and cool our home evenly.
I have always had a yearly service contract with Weeks. However, the past 2 visits the technician appeared to be desperate to find something wrong with my unit. Recently, the air quit blowing in my Mother's room. Naturally, she called Weeks. They came out and determined we needed ductwork to the tune of $402.00 or perhaps even replace the entire ductwork for 4,000.00. I was skeptical, and having just purchased this house, called for a 2nd opinion. For a new $10.00 vent from Home Depot, we have cool air in Mother's room. Adios, Weeks.
Generator went down in February. Called Weeks out for repair. Was told the wiring harness was fried and they couldn't guarantee a repair. Suggested a get a new one so I agreed. Months passed.... they called and said Generac no longer made my model. They said the had to come and re-inspect the wires. I made all the arrangements and had an appointment scheduled between 8-11am. No body showed and now body called. I called today for an update and was unceremoniously told they couldn't get ahold of me (this was AFTER I had confirmed the appointment and left the gate unlocked!! Obviously this was a BS excuse! No courtesy calls- just crickets! I called again today and was told they would add me back to the schedule after their tech got back from vacation! They have 3 contact phone numbers on file for me so it's very mysterious that they couldn't get ahold of me....again more BS lip service. Our friends also had fits trying to do business with Weeks. I'm now sorry I didn't listen to them. They are not dependable, they are unreliable and they have an attitude. Instead of offering help or a solution...the attitude is sir...I'm reading from the notes and there's nothing I can do. We'll Weeks....there's something I can do... I can let people know how shoddy you run your business!
GENERAC Backup Power - I am going to write this review in 2 parts. One is for Weeks AC for the installation/service of the generator and the second part is for Centerpoint who were responsible for installing an additional gas meter on the property.
1. Generac Installation: My wife and I decided to invest in a back up generator to power our entire house after our experiences in Ike and Harvey. We have also lost power at least 4 times a year due to a faulty transformer in our neighborhood. We live a a newer neighborhood so I would not have thought the transformers would blow so easily. Okay, we contacted two vendors to get quotes on the generator. Weeks was selected even though they were not the lowest priced. We selected Weeks because they are about 3 miles from our house and the Salesman Travis explained that an additional meter would keep us from tearing up my yard by running pipes from the existing meter to the generator in the back of the yard. The installation of the generator began on time and from start to finish took about a month. The crew were professional and routed all of the electrical wiring in an efficient manner. They also had to pour a 12 concrete pad for the generator. Kudos to Travis and his crew.
2. Centerpoint Additional Gas Meter Installation: Okay where do I start. I was told by Travis that once the generator was installed we would need to wait on Centerpoint to do their installation. Boy was he right about waiting and waiting and waiting... The generator was installed on July 10th but Centerpoint did not install the gas lines and meter until August 17th. What had happened was...I called Centerpoint to see when they would come out to install the meter on July 19th as was told they had not received a permit from League City by fax. I called League City Permit department and was told they emailed the permit (whats wrong here - fax/emails don't mix). I then informed League City to fax the permit and was asked how? I told Caitlyn in the Permit dept the fax number and waited 2 days to call Centerpoint. On July 23rd I called Centerpoint and they said they had the permit and would schedule someone to come out to install the meter on July 30th. The Technician arrived and told my wife that he could not place the meter because CP did not install the lines. I called Centerpoint again and explained the situation and they said I needed a riser before they could install the meter. Why didn't they say that in the beginning. So I asked how do I get a riser??? CP then informed me that they have to schedule someone to put one in. It was scheduled for August 13th and even though my wife and I waited all day no one showed up. No call, no show! I called CP on Tuesday and they said we were on the schedule for Tuesday 8-5. Still no call and no show. Finally I called CP trying not to blow my stack and asked who the hell should I talk to. CP gave me the number of the contractor who installs the riser and lines. The contractor said they would come out Wednesday, no show no call. I texted the contractor until he said they would be out Thursday. Once the riser was installed CP installed the meter on Friday, August 17th. The Technician who installed the meter was professional and did a great job.
Overall I am glad that we made the decision to purchase the generator but very frustrated with the process and Centerpoint's lack of customer service. My recommendation, if you are considering a generator for back up power please remember it took us 2 1/2 months from start to finish to finally have back up power. Thank God we did not have an outage or even worse a Hurricane!

I called and was able to get a same day appt. very friendly office staff accommodated my time requirements. Matt came out and fixed my heater in under 25 minutes! Would love to have him come back for any future repairs or maintenance. Super honest company with fair rates. Would highly recommend to anyone needing a/c or heating repair.

Pay attention to your charges. The technician that came to my home lied about the time he spent on my repair resulting in an overcharge. I had to call the company to report it. I did receive a refund for the overage. This was my first time using this company. However, I will NEVER use them again.

Please check around with their competitors before you hire them for any job. Their quotes are ridiculously outrageous. I purchased a ceiling fan, a bathroom ventilation fan and a light for replacement installation. Everything is already wired, just remove the old and replace with the new. This is what they were going to charge me. Ceiling fan $176, Light fixture $88, Vent fan $355. A total of $691.00 just to change 3 items. I spoke with another electrician who has his license from Everest Institute for Electrician Technician. He informed me that it would take him about 2 hours. He is charging me $150 to remove and replace all 3 items. Once I complained to them that they were price gauging they sent me a script about how amazing they were. Stay away from this company unless you want to get ripped off.

We had a new AC unit installed during a promotion where we also got a new furnace. The work was handled professionally. One small beef is that a year after our purchase we received a letter from Weeks alerting us to the fact that some warranties aren't honored if the units have not been serviced annually and the owner must provide proof - offering us an annual service contract with them. After carefully reading our warranty, and finding no such language, I called the warranty company to clarify. They at first told me that it wasn't true, but upon looking up the serial number of our registered unit, said that for that particular model, it is in fact required that the units be serviced annually, and proof would be required for warranty compliance. It had to be serviced by the installer- Weeks - to qualify. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but I think that Weeks should have been up front when we purchased the unit that we were married to them for the life of the warranty. Their service was and has been fine, but this all seems deliberately deceptive. Especially that our brand new HVAC system has no warranty from the manufacturer unless Weeks , and only Weeks, does the service...

Love these folks! Always so responsive. We've used them for years but had our first 'emergency' this weekend. A/c went out. We called first thing when they opened, 7:30. They said someone would be here between 8:30 and 9. Tony arrived at 8:30 and had us squared away before 10 a.m.!
I received an advertisement in the mail from this company offering to give me a free check up since I just moved here. I called the company today which is Saturday a woman answered the phone I was asking her if I speaking to the answering service or the actual company and in midsentence she interrupts me doesn't let me even finish my sentence and said can I help you I still didn't know whether or not I was speaking to the answering service or the company itself since you interrupted me and I didn't hear what she said. When she asked me again if she could help me in a very impatient tone. I I said well you can start off by not interrupting me in midsentence, and then she hung up the phone. I will never do Business with a company that treats potential clients like this. You need to get someone to answer your phone that's a little bit happier and not so rude.
We love Weeks. My 84 year old mother was without air. I called this morning and they sent someone out within one hour. She had a panel replaced and unit was up and running within an hour! Thank you!
We have been doing business with weeks service for over 10 years never had any problems. Air conditioning unit went out this past Saturday. You can imagine the level of stress weekend house, full of guests and the ac is out in July. Weeks technician Mark had our unit up and cooling within 4 hours of our phone call.
Thanks

Beware of this company. My ac is still under warranty from the manufacturer but they are trying to make me purchase their annual service plan to perform warranty work. I understand that they didn't install the unit but they are trying to get me to pay $289 for their service, $89 for a warranty fee and around $100 for labor to replace a fan motor that is going out. I have used them multiple times in the past, but after this they have lost my business. Don't fall for their line You have to have a service plan for the warranty to be in effect

I contacted Weeks for issues with my breakers tripping. Of course when the technician shows up I can't get them to trip. The technician diagnosed my breakers and said they are arc fault breakers and need to be reset. He did that and thought this would correct the problem but did mention that if it continues to call and they would schedule someone to come back immediately. The next day I began having the same issues with several breakers tripping. I called Weeks again and Travis came the same day. He apologized that I was still having the issue and ask several questions to better help him understand why this was happening. He checked everything inside my house then outside. He found the issue inside the main breaker box outside. He was very professional and courteous. I highly recommend their services!

I have nothing but positive things to say in regards to Weeks Service Company. The 2 technicians that were sent out to my home to service my ac unit were fantastic! They were on time (which is unheard of in Galveston). They introduced themselves with a handshake, very friendly, competent and quick. They showed & explained to me what was going on with my ac & the different parts or issues that were occuring. Also, after they fixed my ac they made an effort to go around & check my others for issues that might be. These guys are awesome! Thorough, honest, affordable, hard working and worth it!

Had to get a new A/C heat system after Harvey and a 20+ year old unit upstairs. These guys were very professional and helpful. They helped my wife unload our attic to install the new units and ducts since I blew out my back. They did a bang-up job on the installation and removal of the old units. The only reason I gave them only 4 stars is one of their helpers broken a gate board by kicking the planks trying to open my backyard gate(it hangs slightly if not picked up) and would not replace it, he went and bought one plank but would not install it, he said he was not a fence repair man. Other than that small item, which I will have to repair, they did a bang up job!

Too big, treated me like a number...expensive...couldn't deal with the hounding for services not needed
Great service! Had an air conditioner problem on a weekend and couldn't get much help from the few places you can call on the weekend. Contacted Week's on Saturday morning and they got a technician out to me in the rain in less than three hours! Vanessa took my call and she was very helpful and friendly. I appreciate her calling me and letting me know that the technician was on the way. Matt was great and worked miracles on my old air conditioner. He was very friendly and worked out several problems. He was very patient with all of my questions. Thanks for working miracles Matt! I will definitely call Week's first next time. It is great to support a good local company!

My experience with weeks is similar to other negative reviews. I always feel like they've sent a sales person, because the first words out of their mouth is you need to buy a new unit. When we called another company, they replaced the parts that were broken for a fraction of what the new unit would have cost.

We Googled for whole house standby generators and Weeks came up. We gave them a call and they were here within two hours to give us an estimate. Jay and his apprentice gave us an excellent description on how generators work and what to expect. Went over the installation procedure and maintenance procedures. The estimate include pouring the cement pad, installing the generator, and hooking up the transfer switch. They were out here in a few days and had it installed in 3 hours. They installed a 20Kw witch is the same price as the 17Kw that HD sells. All around a great company to do business with.
Been having issues with our Small Business's A/C Systems. Had called out 2 Different companies before finally calling Weeks. Put simply, should of called Weeks 1st. Matt & Jay were excellent and found the source of the problem within minutes that previous companies had missed. They were professional yet very personable and were a pleasure to have in our shop. Weeks will definitely be our first call call in the future.

AC wasn't cooling and after seeing Weeks being used at my company, I decided to call them (I had previously used a buddy I knew for my repairs). Julie took my details and scheduled a time that best fit me. Melissa called to confirm tech was on his way... just as scheduled. Thanks ladies for working with my schedule. Tech Anthony R. arrived about 5 mins early and after introducing himself he promptly began checking the outside unit. He quickly diagnosed a capacitor issue and after replacing the capacitor the system was back in service. He continued checking the entire system, I.e. electrical, coolant, temperatures, attic unit, etc. He was very knowledgeable and extremely professional and explained each step. I was so impressed with Anthony and the extremely courteous, efficient and professional attitude of the ladies in the office, that I bought the Gold Protection plan. This is customer service at its finest... great experience.
A/C stopped cooling on a 5 year old Trane unit. What happened to It's hard to stop a Trane? Called Weeks. Guy came out and told me there was a leak that couldn't be repaired. He said my unit was no longer covered under warranty based on him looking up the serial numbers, and I could either replace the entire coil for $2,700 with a 1 year warranty. Or... replace the entire unit for $4,000 with a 10 year warranty! I called the folks who installed the unit originally 5 years ago (which I should have done in the first place), and they said it's all still covered under warranty - parts and labor. There will be no charge to replace the coil. Weeks doesn't send out technicians to assess the problem. They send out sales people to tell you you need to buy their product. Luckily I had the good sense to call the original installers and not just take Weeks at their word about the warrranty. I'll never use Weeks again. And I will certainly never recommend them to anyone else to use. Let the buyer beware!
