Just a terrible experience. The communication at this company is booty. I got a Groupon for their ceiling fan installation service $85(list $189). Call to arrange an appointment, guy tells me he can be out the next day at 6 pm if I can be flexible, the guy lives in the area and can do it on his way home. I say sure, sounds great.
I check out their website and find that the service I'm getting a deal on advertised at $75, I just paid a Groupon mark up. Warning sign *1.
The next morning get a call asking for my exact address, there just so happens a tech in neighborhood and would like to do the work now. I state there is no one available and that I adjusted my schedule to accommodate the 6 pm time we agreed to yesterday. Vanin electric: Umm 6 pm, I have you scheduled for 2 PM. Me: WTF? 6 pm was suggested by you. Vanin Electric: well I'll be out that way at 6 pm. Can you give me directions your address now? It doesn't pull up on my GPS. Me: I'm driving you can have it when I get to where I'm going. Warning sign *2
Time is 5:50 pm, no one has contacted me about coming to my home for the 6 pm appointment. reach to find out if anyone is coming. Vanin Electric: Yes, still coming, I'll be out there at 8 or 9 pm. Last straw!
Canceled Groupon and asked for a refund. Stated to Vanin Electric not to come out. Their reply: Okay, thank you.
I'm sure I missed a huge headache. Wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.
