Tedrick came out promptly and gave a great a price with a slightly harder run from an outside panel to the garage. No additional sheetrock patching required as he made a perfect cut in one go!

I needed a heavy chandelier installed and the guys were able to get it done in a couple of hours! Very affordable pricing and professional!

He quoted me $100 for updating the outlet for a new dryer and would do the job the next day. I agreed and his associate came the next day.  Upon his arrival, the associate, Brian, told me it's $100 more cause he is coming from Houston. I was surprise but I guess he saw my reaction and he changed the charge to $50. I wanted to balked but I needed it done. So, I relented. The job was done but WILL NOT use this company again. Very deceiving practice!!!

TMU electric did a great job for me. He removed two ceiling fans and replaced them with 1 chandelier and 1 new ceiling fan. He was responsive and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

Great experience with TMU. Got a very fast reply to my request for a quote, and they were out the next day to do the job. They installed an EV car charger flawlessly. Electrician who did the work was on time and friendly. Very fair price for the job. I'd definitely use them again.

Dishwasher keeps tripping breaker, dishwasher is brand new, it worked at other apartment, Issues Is still unresolved with breaker box.
Breaker box seems to be the culprit with GFCI switches becoming sensitive. I ran dishwasher on a another outlet and worked. This issues seem like a simple fix, will have to hire someone else.

Arrived on time, kept me informed  and charged what he said he was going to charge. Polite, friendly and there was no pressure for additional work/upgrades. Definitely recommend.

I had a switch here in my home that I'd been putting off replacing for some time.  So, first, let me say, the work was fine.  The guy who came out to do my work was great, the work appears to have been done well and the price was reasonable.  

But, communication has been touch and go.  My initial message back from TMU said they could get to me today, but then a technician reached out to me to say tomorrow, which was a little annoying, but not actually important. Over the last two days I've contacted by no fewer than three people all identifying themselves with TMU who all seem unaware of what they others are doing.  To their credit, they've all been very polite about the fact that the job is already done.

I would readily use them again, but the experience has been a little weird.

Just hired TMU Electric and Tedrick did a fantastic job. Very professional and is straight forward with the cost and even did better. He is honest and does good work and is ethical. Definitely a trust worthy individual and I will be using him again for all my electrical needs. I highly recommend TMU all give him a try.

Although I was extremely satisfied with the work done, I even gave them a Christmas gift. I was quoted $125 Flat Rate via message (which is also posted on his page). I was first told the boss would email me a bill, then told they requested cash and told the boss said $150. I asked for a receipt as this was home improvement and was told the boss would send in email of which I have yet to receive.
Thrilled with the work, VERY disappointed with the office and paperwork follow up.

I replaced an electric water heater and needed an electrician to bring the heater wiring up to Houston city code and then connect it to the heater. I requested quotes through Yelp and seven electricians responded. TMU responded the fastest and was the only one that gave an estimate. I decided to go with TMU. It was easy to communicate with Mr. Tedrick Underwood, the owner. He showed up on time and charged me $200 less that the quote. He was very friendly, respectful, and informative. No hesitation in using TMU Electric again.

Communication is key! I went against my gut because the ratings were good. Come to find out, the day of our scheduled appointmnet the communication was poor. I had an 8am to 10am window that was scheduled on Tues for Fri. I reached out to TMU around 930ish  to see their whereabouts, just to be told they were behind on a job and they wouldn't be able to get to me until the afternoon.  At that point I canceled and moved on.

I solicited an estimate to have a transfer switch installed via Yelp. Tedrick was one if the few who responded quickly, AND the only one to provide an estimate upfront. I appreciated this and booked his services.

At the time of service, all work was done carefully and very meticulously. Greg (electrician) was great to work with, and he helped me select which circuits I wanted to use the transfer switch for and also walked me through the safe process of how to power down my main circuit board and transfer power via a generator.

I would recommend anyone who is looking for a qualified electrician!

Wanted to get my 40A EV charger setup while we were waiting for the car to come in. Had one of their electrician come in to install an outlet right by the breaker box for the EV charger. The guy used a one of my 40A breaker and ran a 40A line for my 40A EV charger. Made sense at the time. A few months later, after much delay, we finally got the car and started charging it. The breaker tripped after 20 minutes. And then again and again after about 15 minutes. Reached out to these guys about a week ago and the electrician still have not shown up. Found a competent electrician that explained to me that a 40A EV charger unit needs more than just a 40A breaker. Paid THAT electrician to update the breaker box and redo the line all in the same day. Now everything works. Wasted money hiring TMU.

Excellent service! Arrived early on Saturday. I had another electric company added a sub panel and they put in the wrong size breaker. Some plugs need to be checked. Great work!

Hired TMU for a messed up outlet. Tedrick was the cheapest quote and came out. He was quick with the repair and gave recommendation on a couple other services I've been looking into that he luckily as does. Great service would recommend to my neighbors.

I had 3 outlets in 2 different rooms that weren't working. Whoever wired the outlets before I moved in either didn't know what they were doing or didn't care. Tedrick was able to diagnose the problem and found a solution fairly quickly. All 3 outlets are working as they should. I'm happy.

If your looking for a knowledgeable electrician that knows what they are doing look no further. I had a detached garage with faulty wiring from the previous owner. Tedrick came diagnosed the situation and corrected the mistakes. I highly recommend and will definitely call Tedrick for my future electrical issues.

My A/C went out and Vanderford came out to troubleshoot the system. It turned out that my breaker was bad and needed a new one. Tedrick came out in a half a day after contacting him, and after very little time he fixed it all and did it for less than what most others were quoting.

Had a simple job they were quick to respond, good communication, gave me a  flat rate for job.  I would feel comfortable recommending.

I hired TMU Electric to install two wired Ring floodlight security systems. One installation required creating an electrical source for power. TMU did it flawlessly and reasonably. I found them on Yelp and hired them for a previous job which was also done expertly. So happy to have found them and will continue to use them in the future.

Tedrick was on time, professional and under budget.  I didn't have to wait a week for a visit to do a quote and another week to schedule the work like his competitors.   I got a fixed cost within an hour and we scheduled the work the next morning.  After arrival and seeing I had already had the materials needed, he dropped the price $50.  I would recommend him to friends and family.

We had an emergency. TMU/Tedrick solved our shorting  problem, arrived when he said, and had us back up with AC running, fridge back on.  All for a very fair price.

This is a great company to work with.  They were very responsive.  They explained what was needed and gave me options to choose from.  If I have electrical needs in the future, I will definitely be calling them.

Electrical outlet not working.  Technician checked every outlet and found the issue.  The technician was on schedule and price was as quoted.

Electrician arrived and was quickly able to resolve my issue.

I needed a living room fan replaced and put out a request through Yelp. This company responded relatively quickly with a quote and a vague Friday afternoon appointment time. When Friday afternoon rolled around, I had no correspondence from them until late in the afternoon stating that they would come very late that night or Saturday. Saturday morning, I was messaged stating a technician would call to set up an appointment. My husband was home at the time to greet the individual, who was very unprofessional. The gentleman refused to turn off the breaker prior to doing ELECTRICAL work and ended up tripping the breaker to the whole living room. My husband had to tell him how to do several things, prevent this man from falling off his ladder, and point out that he was actively scratching & gouging a chunk out of our ceiling. Long story short, I paid way too much ($300) for unprofessional service, a liability nightmare, and a scratched ceiling.
