Safe Clean and Green Ltd. offers a wide variety of services and repairs for your Sprinkler System. We recommend repairs based on optimizing what already exists on the property. We would not recommend spending money on something we would not spend on our home sprinkler system. This approach keeps it very simple and honest and we believe if we take care of our customers, our customers will take care of us. We value that relationship greatly.
HISTORY
Established in 2017.
I made the decision this year to start Safe Clean and Green Ltd. primarily due to all of the encouragement from people I had the pleasure of serving over the last 3 years in the industry. I enjoy and receive great satisfaction from being given a problem and solving it. I have been doing it for over 20 years. I was an Electronics Bench Technician and now I have the pleasure of working outside and visiting with people that need my help with repairs.
ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER
Robert is the owner/operator and lead repair technician, solving problems and implementing repairs is what drives him. Backflow prevention is what really became a passion for Robert once he understood how easily contaminants and pollutants can enter a customer's (and their neighbor's) drinking water. Robert now has his American Backflow Prevention Association (ABPA) certification to test and repair irrigation and domestic backflow prevention assemblies. Robert drove as far as Salt Lake City, Utah as that was the only available training and certification class at the time. Every appointment is different and each property is unique and that keeps creative thinking at its peak.

I've used Robert for the past three years at two properties. This year, I let him know we have a much bigger yard and I had a hunch it had not been well taken care of. I let him know it might be a good amount of work. There were 13 working zones.
Over the course of two days he repaired 3 broken pipes, replaced four heads and risers, then tested each zone. I enjoy working alongside him as he is also a great teacher and I learn a significant amount while with him.
It took years for me to find a good sprinkler guy and I'm incredibly happy I found Robert.
Friendly, prompt, knowledgeable & will schedule early morning appointments. No messing around with submitting the needed paperwork to the city. Such a relief!

Robert has been a huge help, both with basic winter blow-out/spring start-up, and coming out when I had a broken head. I have a swamp in my yard that turns out not to be from my sprinkler system, and Robert walked the whole line with me, educated me on what might be happening, and gave me next steps to talk to the builder and South Adams Water to try to get it fixed. He always lets me tag along and talks me through what he's doing, so I feel like I know more about my system. He's a friendly, prompt, decent guy, and I'd recommend him to anyone who needs sprinkler help.
Can't say enough good things about Robert. We have used him on several occasions from the basic fall blowout to system adjustment and most recently, for a whole replacement of the backflow preventer and sprinkler shutoff valve. Every time Robert impresses us with his knowledge and willingness to explain everything he is doing and how we can do simple maintenance to help increase the life of our sprinkler system. His prices are extremely competitive and he has never tried to up sell us on anything. Very honest and thorough. Highly recommend giving him a call!
Stop looking. Robert has just become my go-to for our sprinkler system and yard. I was overwhelmed by the time he spent walking me through the status of my sprinklers and the education he provided me on my system, without ever feeling rushed. Great service! Had a few issues with my sprinkler head and the tech walked me through the issue and fixed it real quick. He also showed me how to drain my line and properly shut down in case of cold weather. He definitely didn't need to do that, but I really appreciated the extra time spent.

I reached out to Robert a few weeks before the winterization rush and he was super communicative and came out to help get our system set up for the season within a few days. Unfortunately for us, we forgot we'd had work scheduled after that and our landscapers ended up undoing all of his work - so I reached out again and Robert came out for a second winterization within a few days. Both times, he provided helpful tips for maintenance and even some pointers for what to expect in the spring. Looking forward to working with him again next year!

We are having issues with our sprinkler system for a few weeks. I found great reviews for Mr. Robert through Yelp. We have been chatting and trying to find the best time for him to come out to take a look. He has been extremely patience and friendly. Due to the hot weather and urgency, we have to seek someone else's help. But Mr. Robert didn't get upset and still is very patience and responsive. He is very professional and I will definitely ask for his help in any future need for sprinkler system.

Robert was terrific getting our system blown out and ready for winter. Our appointment was the day after the first freeze, and it turned out that freeze broke part of our setup but he had the materials on hand to fix the issue right away. His preparation was super helpful, as was the info he shared with us on how to avoid that happening again in the future. We'll look forward to calling him again for our future sprinkler needs!

Safe, Clean, and Green came to my attention for receiving good. strong reviews. I called and Robert answered and spoke to me on the phone. We set an appt. for the next day, Saturday. Robert called and said he was running late due to another earlier job. He came over then, when he said that he would. Robert was cordial from the very beginning. I enjoyed meeting him. He ran my sprinkler system and made suggestions to what was important and what needed to just keep an eye on. Robert] was efficient and knows his stuff. The service that Robert provided was A+!
He is very knowledgeable, professional, respectful and honest. Our four zone water sprinkler system needed updates and repairs and Robert was able to figure out the issues and fixed everything in no time. Our grass was almost dead and thanks to Robert, we have beautiful, green grass again. Highly recommend and he'll be taking care of our system each season that is needed from now on.

I highly recommend Robert for sprinkler system repair work! When I setup my irrigation system in the spring, I discovered one of the ball valves in the pipes against my house had sprung a leak. I tried to fix it myself but my skillset was lacking, and the persistent leak made me nervous. I called around a few places, but Robert was able to fit me in same day and gave me a reasonable price. He was kind, professional, and showed me a few other small issues that contributed to the leak and he fixed them as well. He had no issues with me asking questions about the work he was doing and even gave me some tips to help save me money (and headaches) down the line.

Robert was great! He winterized our lawn and fixed a gasket that was broken during the last freeze. He was communicative, on time, and professional throughout. I appreciate his hard work and time!
Prompt, professional, did a great job and just an all around nice guy. Our sprinkler system froze up and burst over the winter. We realized it at the same time we realized our lawn was extra thirsty. He showed up a couple hours later and all was solved.
Robert is awesome. Always on time, very helpful in explaining what he's working on and what problems need immediate attention vs. stuff that can wait or that I can do myself. Very fair prices. Robert is leaps and bounds better than other Denver sprinkler services I've used. Highly recommend.
Robert was a great communicator and very responsive. I appreciated how easy it was to get an appointment scheduled with him and how prompt he was the day of. We worked with Robert to ensure that our sprinkler and watering systems were winterized for our first winter in a new house. He was incredibly thorough and talked us through a lot of information and details that we did not know about our system. He walked us through our zones, our shut-offs, and other information that wasn't shared when we moved in. What I appreciated even more was that he took the time to talk us through how to get things turned back on without his help when things warm up next spring. Who does that?
With thorough, thoughtful, and honest service, it's hard to imagine anything else a person could request. While it hasn't reached the coldest part of the season yet, I'm sure that our system will stand the test of this winter's weather and beyond. Amazing, amazing service. Extremely knowledgeable, professional and he cares about the customer and the quality of service he provides.
I had a dead spot on my lawn last year so I knew something was wrong. The previous company said it was nothing and didn't even bother investigating.
Robert took the time, dug around and found the sprinkler head that was clogged up, wasn't working and replaced it. He checked and adjusted every sprinkler head to make sure the entire lawn got good coverage. He even took time to answer technical questions because I was interested and showed me how to set the timer.
I've already booked him for my sprinkler winterization in October.

Robert was awesome to work with from beginning to end! Prompt response to my yelp message requesting service and he was able to schedule our sprinkler blowout before the first hard freeze tonight. He was friendly, informative and did a thorough job making sure our pipes were winterized. He even provided documentation to show what had been done and what to watch for in the next few days (just in case). Highly recommend!
Robert from Safe, Clean and Green serviced our home sprinklers on three occasions. We were fully satisfied with his services. The first time he replaced our backflow preventer that had been neglected for several years. Previous homeowners tried fixing the leaks unsuccessfully by using some sort of plaster. The second time, Robert helped us with setting our zone three sprinklers up to work with the timer by replacing a broken solenoid. He also helped us a third time when we installed drip lines on our own and created a leak when we decided to test them by turning them on manually. We unscrewed the solenoid and we're unable to stop the leak. Robert came back the next day and fixed it for us.
We would highly recommend him for all sprinkler needs as he is reliable and very knowledgeable.
I needed to get my sprinklers blown out and did a general search on Yelp. I sent out a general message to several providers not knowing who would respond. Within maybe 20 minutes I had a call from Robert saying that it could be done today around 12.
I had to run an errand and as I arrived back home at 12, there he was! Robert was extremely thorough and explained several things about my system I hadn't known before.
I also had some questions about types of sprinkler heads for the future and he provided a thorough analysis and explanation of why some were much better than others.
He was courteous, friendly with the dog and informative. Very fair pricing as well.
I'm very glad he responded so quickly and will keep him at the top of my list for future irrigation needs.

Robert came out this morning and spent almost 2 hours with me going through my entire setup. He worked with me on the timer, checked the valves, adjusted the heads, gave me advice on watering times, checked the boxes, etc. I couldn't have asked for a more thorough inspection.
He didn't try to pressure me to buy new things, or get a whole new system. He even tried to help me find my main shut-off valve just because every homeowner should know where it is which goes to show how willing he is to go the extra mile. Definitely found my new irrigation specialist for life as long as I'm in the service area. A+.

I reached out to Robert about fixing an ancient sprinkler system in the front yard as well as adding a new install in the backyard. Unfortunately, he doesn't do new installs but I really wished he did. He was incredibly professional, honest and kind. Superb customer service like that is a rarity these days. If I ever have any issues in the future or know someone that needs help, I wouldn't hesitate to send them to Robert.
Robert has winterized our sprinklers twice now and I can't recommend him more. He is detailed, thorough, gives great advice, and is good people. We won't be using anyone else. Excellent service!
If you need someone to startup your sprinklers for the Spring, I highly recommend Robert from Safe, Clean, and Green. He is so friendly and professional. We had our sewer lines repaired in the fall when we moved in and even though the sewer company said they repaired the line where they cut it, there was still an issue with a broken line on one of the zones. Robert was so thorough in fixing the problem and making sure things were running well in all zones. He even spent extra time showing me how to set up the timers (my first time using automatic sprinklers). His pricing is very reasonable and he's very upfront about everything he is doing and what it will cost. Give him a call before he books up!

So I just purchased my home about 3 months ago and wanted someone to come out and run me through the ins and outs of my sprinkler system. I have to say that I'm so glad that I found Bob! Robert was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and just an all around great guy! He accommodated an urgent appointment and went above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of.
I needed a backflow test done for a property I manage. Denver Water sent the notice to the wrong address and it wasn't until I received a call threatening the water would be shut off that I knew I needed this done. Robert guided me through what documentation I needed from Denver Water to complete the test and logistics for submitting results. I felt tremendous relief after talking to Robert.

Robert was very friendly and professional from the start. He walked through exactly what he was going to do before he even began getting tools out of his truck. He didn't nickel and dime me for any more money once he had one hiccup that he repaired to make the back flow piping less stressed. But before that he explained what he was going to do and got me to okay it, I could clearly see the pipes would be stressed had he left it the way it was. He answered all of my questions and gave me knowledge needed should anything simple happen and I could repair myself.
Had Robert help us on two houses. First he came across town to help setup sprinkler system with 5 bad sprinklers and a valve leak and had all working within few hrs. Friendly, knowledgeable, and fair. Then he checked our house and pointed out minor issue caused by people who winterized it.

Robert did great/quick work and was great with communication something his competition is lacking sorely. I understand it's the busiest time of the year but other local companies are consistently not returning several calls and some are no call no show after making multiple appointments.

I would recommend Safe, Clean and Green to anyone looking for help with their sprinkler system. Robert came out within 3-4 days, inspected the entire system, turned everything on and adjusted sprinkler heads to ensure the entire lawn was getting water. Fantastic service. Robert is clearly very dedicated to helping your sprinklers function well. He came out and ran a diagnostic on our system, and made appropriate adjustments. He replaced a sprinkler head that needed it, and also repaired a pipe that had burst. Our system is old and wasn't done well initially, so he helped make it all a little more logical and functional. He took his time and made sure it was all done correctly. Then about a month later my mother in law came in town and messed with the valves (she was trying to help with watering? Hah) and it messed things up, and Robert spent time in the morning texting with me to help problem solve and fix it again. So glad I found this service!

Fantastic service, Aurora was going to cut off our service and Robert really took care of me, poor guy had to jump threw a few extra hoops to get the disconnection canceled but he was a really good sport about it.
Our sprinklers have not been used for about two years now due to the fact that every year we ended up with a break in the line using other companies for the blow out in fall. Robert communicated quickly with me and showed up on time. He was scheduled for about an hour but stayed until the job was completed. He fixed a geyser, recapped the sprinkler heads with better nozzles, and even informed me, without pressure, of a wiring issue that may need to be fixed in the future. I was shocked when I received the bill, because it was much lower than I expected for the work he performed. Robert is a worker! I would recommend him over others for anyone who is considering using his services.
Bob is probably one of the most honest, thoughtful, and punctual people I have had to do anything to my house. I only wish he did more than sprinklers because it is hard to find people with the work ethic of this guy. I called him to do a tune up on my sprinklers after the person who blew out messed them up. He did a full inspection and troubleshot every area of my yard. He was incredibly thorough. In addition to being very helpful and reliable, Bob was also just a very pleasant person. I will only use him for any irrigation in the future.

Robert (Bob) is the man! My landlord paid some idiot a cut rate to do a cut rate job, and the system couldn't be winterized, and therefore the pipes burst and were useless come spring time. I called SC&G LTD and Bob was at my front door within the day, with a positive attitude and an honest quote for the work. He quickly went to work, undoing the horrendous work that the prior company had done, and installing a sprinkler system that could not only be winterized, but would last. I ended up calling on Safe, Clean and Green to come out and help me with getting my system started up in my new home for the first time. Robert, showed up on time and was very helpful. He walked me through the process - do's and don'ts - as I'm not very familiar with irrigation systems. He was very knowledgeable, and gave me explanations on how to fix things on my own for future maintenance jobs. I've been going to Robert for sprinkler system turn-up and winterization ever since he resurrected our backflow preventer and repaired a number of pipes in the system. Once again, he came through for the latest winterization, as I had waited too long to schedule an appointment with him, and sure enough, a cold snap arrived before Robert could come out. Robert and I both feared the potential for freeze damage, and even though he was booked at the time, Robert both emailed and called me with steps I could take myself to lessen the chance of pipes freezing. The cold snap was severe, and Robert's advice likely saved me a great deal of repair money. Robert then came out on the day we had arranged and completed the winterization without a hitch. I had a great conversation with him as an added bonus. Great guy, great service, great integrity, consistently.

Bob was great! My sprinkler system wasn't working, but when he came out to look, started checking items, it started working. He wasn't upset that it was working and that he was called out for nothing. He then checked every zone to make sure they were all working. He adjusted some heads so I got better coverage.

We desperately needed someone to get our sprinkler system fixed in our first home and had no idea where to start. We found Robert on yelp and we were not disappointed. Very thankful to Bob and his diligence. I needed my sprinklers winterized and of course was waiting until the last minute to do so. I called Bob at noon and he was able to be able to be at my house by 1, good thing to because there was a winter storm warning for that evening.
It wasn't just a bang bang job for Bob, he really took the time and care to make sure everything was done efficiently and helped explain to me what he was doing each step of the way.

Truly 5 star service from Bob. I knew I had a broken sprinkler head and a few leaks in my drip line, but also wasn't getting water to one of my zones and couldn't figure out why. That ended up being the most expensive part, with my timer (which was ancient) being the issue. I was hoping to have the drip system fixed and set up for a garden bed. Instead of scheduling an appointment to come back with the necessary parts and a new trip fee, he instead fixed my leaks and installed a new line that could supply my garden bed and gave me detailed instructions on how to fix future leaks myself and add the drip system so I could complete the rest on my own for much cheaper. In the age of contractors being all about trying to figure out how to charge people more, Bob actually gave me useful information and I now feel completely comfortable replacing future minor drip issues as well as installing new drip systems off the main line on my own! Prices were very reasonable given the amount of time and work that went into fixing the system. It is now running great!
I echo all the positive reviews previously posted. Very prompt, and so thorough looking at every sprinkler head to make sure everything was working. No unnecessary upsells, solid recommendations, and I will use them every spring and fall.

I have been doing lots around the house lately and some services and contractors have been frustrating. What a relief Robert was!!! Robert was top notch. Walked through everything with me, and spent about an hour and a half getting my system up and going. My system had not been on in four years and Robert was diligent, friendly, and honest. I would highly recommend Robert and Safe, Clean, and Green Ltd. for any sprinkler repair or service. Really do yourself a favor and call him if you need anything done with your system.
Robert is a true professional. Arrived on time and provided the best education on maintaining my system and preventing future damage. He fixed my a cracked valve and did winterization on my system. While he was doing all of his work he explained everything he was going to do step by step. He took his time and did quality work. He even brought in my old wrapping system that I used to wrap my pipes without even asking. I could not ask for better service. Robert from Safe, Clean and Green just winterized our sprinkler system at very short notice, and I can't speak highly enough of his service. He was extremely thorough, explained everything as he went along, and was very courteous (as a small example, he put plastic covers on his shoes when going into our house to access the shut-off valve, which was completely unnecessary but nevertheless very thoughtful). Aside from the exemplary service, he was very genuine and a pleasure to talk with while he went about his business. I would have no hesitation recommending him to anyone in need of his services!
I had to find a new sprinkler pro because my guy retired to only working on his side of town (I own 6 properties with in ground sprinkler systems in central Denver). I am thrilled to have found Bob and I plan on using him exclusively for all my sprinkler needs. He could not be more professional (great communicator), knowledgeable (he will tell you more about sprinkler systems than you ever thought possible!), fair with pricing, honest, and an all around nice person. Since I lost my other sprinkler professional, I tried to turn on the systems myself this year. Seems pretty easy right? Well it was with 3 of them and the other 3 had a variety of issues that were very complicated and way beyond my capabilities. Bob was able to come out a week after I called him (during his busiest time of year), and then when 2 of the issues required more time than the usual turn on time required, Bob came out again yesterday (on a Sunday) to fix things. I really could not be happier to have Bob be my exclusive sprinkler professional.
Robert was great, quick response and he was able to come out on the same day and fix my sprinkler system. Talked me through what he was doing and why. And continuously gave me tips for keeping everything working well. Will definitely be reaching out to him again in the future for anything sprinkler related.
