Had an amazing experience with Alejandro Rapalo with Raptor Electrical! The entire process of receiving a very timely quote, quick scheduling, arriving over an hour early AND the final charge being $75 less than what I was quoted all deserve a 5- review! Additionally, the attention to detail and the quality of the work was 1st-class! Even though this was a very simple job of removing a simple ceiling fixture in the Dining Room and replacing it with a very simple chandelier, I highly recommend that Raptor Electrical be considered. Kudos for a job very well done across the board!

They scheduled a time to come out and look at the job before giving a quote. They arrived at the time they said they would. They looked at the job, explained to me what my options were, and quoted a price for each. After I accepted, a time was scheduled within a week to come out and do the work. They showed up on time and did the job in one day. The final bill happened to be less than the original quote.

Wow! When Austin Energy came out to replace my electric meter they immediately shut my power off and flagged the meter box as being unsafe. In 2015 ATT UVerse had hit a transformer on my lawn and the meter box had been damaged during Austin Energy's 7 hours of excavation that went into the night.
I used Yelp, bypassed the sponsored results (sorry, Yelp), and called Ratpor at 11:33 am, based on the consistently positive feedback here.
I sent Luis photos and he worked all day with me as well as with Austin Energy, got the necessary permits, was willing to loan me a generator for the night as it looked like all the work and red tape would stretch till tomorrow. But the guys were great and waited for Austin Energy to wrap up together. When the power came on at 5:28 pm, I was ecstatic and Luis and I were hyped on SMS I'm so glad for you! He still has some permit work tomorrow, let me know that he would take care of it as it would likely go smoothly.
I guess this sounds like a recommendation.

The Gas company came out and deemed many items out of code so my gas was shut off. Raptor helped get the required permits and install an outlet to our tankless water heater. The were courteous, professional and handled everything. I will use them again when needed for further electrical work and upgrades.

I had two breakers that had gone bad and were randomly tripping every so often. I'd put off dealing with it for *months* because the idea of trying to find a reputable electrician seemed so daunting. Today, I woke up and decided it was the day to take care of it, and started calling around. Everywhere else was quoting me 1-2 weeks before they could come out, until I happened to find Raptor Electrical Services, and was convinced by their reviews here to give them a call. Within 2 hours of my initial cold call, both of my breakers had been replaced, and I was back to my normal day. Alejandro was *super* personable, and didn't mind my hovering to see what he was doing (I'm interested in the process, but would rather leave it to the professionals). I've saved their number in my phone and wouldn't hesitate to reach out again if I have future electrical needs. I can't overstate how pleased I am with the quick, friendly service, and would very much recommend giving them a call if you have the need!

In all the homes I've owned and different trades I've worked with, Raptor Electrical Services is one of the most professional and high quality I've had do work for me. I worked with Alejandro on having an inlet box and transfer switch installed in my home, so I could use a portable generator to power essentials during an outage.

Alejandro did an initial estimate with pictures, and then came over to do a more detailed review of the project. His communication was always prompt, price was fair and the quality of work is amazing. If you're looking for an electrician, I highly recommend going with Raptor Electrical Services. I would trust them to do work for my friends and family any time.

Alejandro was fantastic! We had those ugly fluorescent lights in our kitchen and I've been wanting to switch them out for quite some time. However, the task seemed daunting and spending $$$ wasn't something I was excited to do. I decided to call a few places for quotes.

You wouldn't believe how hard it is for someone to return a phone call. Are you kidding me? However - Raptor was different. I inquired via their website and within 30 minutes received a call back asking a few more questions about what I was looking for. They told me Alejandro would call me later that day to discuss. And guess what? He did! We discussed it, I sent him a few photos, he gave me a rough price estimate and scheduled for him to come out and look at it in person. He came the next day, provided a quote and got us scheduled for just a few days later.

He installed 9 recessed can lights as well as dimmer switches in our kitchen and y'all.. it looks sooo good! I wish I would have done this a long time ago.

He has another team out here today (they are in the kitchen working as I type this review). They are filling the hole(s) from those ugly fluorescent light fixtures.

His team has been excellent. Very communicative, pricing is reasonable and fair. I 100% will call Alejandro and his team for any future electrical needs.

While up in our attic yesterday he noticed that our AC drain pan was leaking and the unit didn't look right. He was under no obligation to tell me about what he saw, but he did and I am so grateful. He took photos while up there and sent them to me. Cue the panic though...AC issues in Texas? That's immediately a scary thought especially as we are gearing up for the summer heat. I was able to call an AC Company who came out today and was able to get it fixed before it became a disaster situation. If you're looking for an AC company, I highly recommend The Coolest!. They were phenomenal too.

When I called for a estimate, I shared what was needed for what I was told from my previous electrical company that was no longer taking new business. The gave me a quote so I'd know what to expect. The price quotes was almost 3x the price and I was told good luck finding the price I was quoted before. Very rude.

*Update* Owner Luis kept repeatedly trying to call me. 3 calls back to back. After the bad experience just trying to get a quote, then to be harassed on the phone is unacceptable. You should never abuse customer information and call without my permission since I didn't sign a co Tracy to work with your company. Glad I didn't use his business. I had to block his number.

I reached out to ask a couple of questions about prices to plan for a project, they were quick in responding, they were polite, and not pushy.

I called Raptor Electrical about a tripped breaker. I first spoke to Luis, who tried to help me over the phone. The problem wasn't resolved over the phone, so within a couple of hours, Alejandro came out to the house and fixed the problem, a blown breaker. Raptor's service is efficient and professional. I highly recommend them.

Alejandro was able to diagnose my issue in a few minutes by phone, which saved an expensive service visit. We really appreciate the help, and will go back to Raptor when we have issues in the future.

These guys are awesome! Priscilla scheduled the appointment quickly and was thorough in explaining the pricing and time estimate for the job. Alejandro called to let me know he could come by earlier than scheduled, diagnosed the problem and had it fixed quickly. I have some light fixtures and ceiling fans that I want to replace next year and I will definitely be calling them to take care of it!

Raptor Electrical Services did an amazing job! Not only did they really help out by squeezing me into their busy schedule, they were also so efficient and did a fantastic job. I aired my concerns to them and they addressed every single one and came up with a solution on the same day. I cannot say enough nice things about these guys. 10,0000 out of 10, would highly recommend them.
They even fixed my builder's error by adjusting one of the power sockets that was crooked. The attention to detail is above reproach.

Just saw the response from Luis the business owner. My cousin & I definitely had him out to our property, so his claim that his records didn't show that are, to be charitable, completely false. We saw him & his cohort and he identified himself as the owner Luis. We have his business card in hand. Then he makes up a story in his response that we requested something that was not up to code--this is a fabrication; we showed him what Austin Energy employees had identified as the problem and he read what they had written, then gave us the figure of $16 thousand that we agreed to since work had to be done, then immediately after we agreed, went right up to the $20K figure, which conduct spoke for itself. He and his cohort spoke quietly between themselves in Spanish and clearly assumed we couldn't understand Spanish--again, that is false. Everything I said in my review was factual and fully witnessed by both of us. I am quite conversant with local & national (harmonized) electrical & other building trade codes. This response by the owner is very revealing, and only validates the facts initially provided in my original review.

Just had Alejandro from Raptor Electrical out to take care of a number of electrical issues we'd been experiencing in our home. I contacted them this morning and since all of their guys were out and I was flexible, they'd send someone when available between jobs. Two hours later, Alejandro was here and we were going through each of the items on my list.

He addressed two issues with lighting in our master bath and closet, replaced a vent fan in another bathroom, and we discussed another panel breaker issue.

The price for their services were very fair and reasonable and Alejandro took the time to talk through the causes of some of the issues we were having and made complete sense. That educational aspect provided was just amazing and greatly appreciated!

Will definitely be the first company I call or recommend for any electrical needs in the future! Already added to my Yelp bookmarks after this first experience!

Alejandro responded very quickly to my Yelp request for a quote. He was also able to fit me into his busy schedule same day, and that was critical for my urgent need. Service was prompt. The problem was diagnosed and fixed within the first hour. The electrician was friendly and showed me exactly what the problem was and how he intended to fix it. He fixed it, cleaned up after himself and I was able to pay by Venmo saving the 3.5% I would have had to by if I used a credit card. He was also willing to accept a check.
I was also pleased to see his Apprentice was female. I know electrical work is a male dominated field and it was refreshing to see a company that is helping females make inroads to the job. Good service, fair price, and same day service at no extra cost. I highly recommend them.

Moved into a new house 6 months ago and since then had some issue with the lights flickering and even more issues when adding led bulbs and dimmers.  

I called multiple very reputability companies to fix my issue over the last several months and if anything the issues got worse.  I guess I should not drop the other companies names but they were all qualified master electricians from well known companies.  The all charged me and did some sort of fix that never actually fixed the issues.  Money down the drain.

I have spend so much time and money new switches and light bulbs as that was mostly what I was told was the issue.

I called Raptor by chance and they responded very quickly,  I relayed my issues and told them of my frustration with other electricians. Alejandro said he can fix it, he was very confident, I was skeptical.

He and his brothers showed up and got to work.  First they listened to my crazy story and then He was the first electrician to go in the attic and found that someone had hooked up my pendant lights wrong crossing some wires in a very minor way.  However that issue was causing the issues.

They removed some lights fixtures and fixed the wiring in the house and also tested several dimmers that I had bought to see which ones would work best.

Came out within a couple hours of the call.  Quickly diagnosed the issue and communicated the costs upfront for the repairs.  I would use them again.

Upon leaving the successfully completed job, in less then an hour I must add, Alejandro asked, Are you happy. I can say unequivocally, 100% yes!! Same day service even. I truly appreciate his willingness to fit me in on the same day I called.

I needed help installing 2 light switches for our camper van conversion that is to say low voltage, 12v, electrical work.

Alejandro only asked a few questions to assess the job and knew exactly what needed to be done.

The electrician showed up on time under severe  icy weather.  He also called  when he was on his way.  He installed a EV charger for my Tesla.  The price is very reasonable. Alejandro is very respectful and professional.  Compared to another big company I called who charges a trip fee just to take a look and give an unreasonable quote, this company is absolutely the best.  I highly recommend them.

Alejandro, Luis, Jose, and Austin installed recess lighting in two offices, two hallways, our living room, kitchen and laundry room. They were knowledgable, kind, hard working, fast, and did high quality work for a good price. The Austin contractor landscape has a lot of folks in it and it can be tough finding a good one these guys are really wonderful and I highly recommend them. I am excited about working with them on future projects.

I have nothing but great things to say about Raptor Electrical Services. The crew that came out to fix all my issues were awesome. The head boss, Alejandro, was upfront & so nice & experienced. The crew was so respectful & personable. I had to have lots of work done because I pretty much was in a hazard zone. I appreciate them for all this work they did. I live in a manufactured house so they were crawling under the home as well. People just don't understand how time consuming & tedious this line of work can be. And to top it off, they got rained on. I'm very happy with the work they did & highly recommend this business. Going forward I will be using them for all my major electrical needs.

I had a dead breaker that needed to be replaced, so I started calling around to electricians. I called and/or texted probably about six different companies and got various pricing and availability. The majority of the companies said they wouldn't be able to come out for weeks, which was not good for me because I didn't want to do without power to the items on that breaker for weeks. Others quoted pretty high prices for the repair. I decided upon Raptor Electrical Services for several reasons: 1. an actual human being answered the phone when I called rather than voice mail, 2. the actual human being - Priscilla - was SUPER nice and very helpful, 3. the electrician - Alejandro - would be able to come out in 2 days rather than weeks, 4. the price Alejandro quoted for the repair was lower than any of the other quotes I got that day. When Alejandro arrived to do the repair, he said that the problem wasn't the breaker. After doing some testing, he found that there was a wire in one of my light switches that wasn't connected properly and that was causing the problem! The repair ended up being even less expensive, and it all took less than an hour. I love these guys! They are now my electrical service. :)

Luis and Alejandro are great electricians. These are the kind of people you can trust to give you the correct information for any electrical project. I have had them do multiple projects for me. Luis and Alejandro were amazing to work with. We had contacted multiple electricians who were unable or too busy to take on the task of installing a 240v connection for our hot tub and Raptor Electrical Services jumped at the opportunity. From the start, they were very easy to work with and immediately scheduled a video call to discuss options for installing a sub panel and hot tub panel and soon after, scheduled the installation in a timely manner. Following arrival of the hot tub, we had a few hiccups with the hot tub installation (from the hot tub vendor) and Luis was quick to respond and assist with further installation needs. Thanks to Raptor we have a fully functioning hot tub! If in need of electrical services, we would definitely recommend Luis and Alejandro.

I had a circuit breaker that continued to trip and found Raptor on Yelp. One of the owners came by and switched the breaker, checked it, and all was working so he left. It tripped shortly after so I called him back out and they arrived promptly and changed it to a different type of breaker. It has been working great since

We added a pool heater / chiller to our existing system and needed another 60Amp breaker. Another company told me my house only had 125A and would need another line brought from the street for $6500 LOL!  By the way, every house has 220A so don't believe that ever. Raptor showed up on time, didn't BS me and finished the job in less than 1 day for a very fair price.  The finish out looks fantastic and works perfectly. Thanks guy!

I called several companies. They were not the most inexpensive ones but they were the same price as another company. They came same day and earlier than they had originally said. They figured out the problem quickly, fixed it quickly, answered all my questions, and left the place exactly the way they found it. Definitely recommend.

Great, professional and efficient service and reasonably priced! I had an electrical issue in my home, requested a quote and within 10 min, Alejandro called for a consultation and within an hour was able to make it to my home (on a Friday afternoon no less). Great guys and great work! Definitely on the pricey side but if you need good work done the day you call they can deliver. Needed some outlets installed in my kitchen and they did just that. Took them about an hour in and out. Very polite and professional employees, and I am very appreciative of the work they did. Would recommend!

I had an electrical emergency on Christmas Eve & Luis answered my call even though he was off & came to fix the problem & spent all day fixing it so I could have electricity & AC on Christmas.

Great service!!! had these guys install our fans and run electrical for a ring camera and had them install the camera as well!! prices are reasonable!! we bought the wrong fans, they returned our fans to home depot for us and picked up the correct ones!! highly reccomend!!

A switch was broken and affected parts of master bedroom and bathroom. Raptor was very responsive and professional and solved the problem for the $175 service call fee. Highly recommend them!

We had a power outage on a Friday night and I started calling electricians Saturday morning. I was reluctant about finding someone but Luis answered my call and said he could be out that day. He was a little delayed from another job but communicated that with me. He arrived and found the problem quickly and fixed it. It was a relief to get it done fast and with no problems!

Luis and his brother responded quickly to my request for smart switch installation help. I am a do it yourself kind of person, but could not figure out the jumble of wiring required.

They have helped me twice over the last two weeks and I appreciate their skills very much.  First of all, they were great communicators, which can be a challenge at times when dealing with contractors.  Phone calls and texts are answered and schedules are kept.  Then updates on arrival, the work performed and the outcomes are communicated continuously.  Follow-up was needed on the first issue and Alejandro very quickly made it back out to correct the problem.  I am a huge fan, so when I needed their help again a couple of weeks later on another issue, I called and had the same great service as the first time. This is a great, reliable business to deal with your electrical needs and I recommend them highly!

Luis and his brother are two great professionals. They come to change my kitchen lights and one fan that had to be moved from one spot to another in the same room. They did a great job. They are very friendly and flexible. Luis helped me to figure out the lights in the kitchen and I love the result. They are definitely who to call for electricity issues.

We had an AFCI breaker issue where it would trip every time we used our treadmill.  I reached out on Saturday morning and they came to the rescue later that same day.  They took the time to diagnose the issue on the phone, picked up the correct part for replacement and solved the problem in under 15 minutes after they arrived. I had an outside GFI outlet that kept tripping the breaker and an inside light switch that wouldn't turn on an outside light, even after I replaced the switch. Luis came out and got both working in about an hour. Great work.
