I found JC Electrical through Yelp, and I want to be sure to recommend them to others. I had three different companies come out to give me quotes, and theirs was perfect. They sent Master Electrician Joe out and his assistant, Andre to give me the quotes. Other companies sent out a quote person, and some wanted to charge me just to come out and give me the quote. If I chose them they would apply that payment to what they quoted. But JC Electrical didn't do that. And I really appreciated that. I also appreciated that the person providing the quote was the person who would actually do the work. That meant when Joe was looking at my house I knew the estimate would be accurate, because he could tell what work would be required.
I got two new light fixtures installed where there were previously no electricity or fixtures, and then I got some work done in the garage (plug for garage door opener and new light fixture). I was sooooo impressed with the quality of the work, that I can guarantee I will call again for future work.
In addition, Joe and Andre were so polite, personable, and professional. And even though all three of us had already been vaccinated, they had developed such good COVID habits that they didn't even think twice about continuing them. They came in with masks on, kept 6 feet apart, and handled my credit card transaction in a contactless way.
Yep, I will definitely call again for future work, but I'll want Joe and Andre to do the work. They were a joy to work with, and Joe was pretty easy on the eyes! (I made sure he has my number.)

They installed a Rivian wall mount vehicle charger in my garage. They did a great job. I would definitely recommend them.
Very courteous and excellent work! JC Electrical fixed a breaker, wired for a mini split, and added outlets throughout our garage.

Today memorial Day May 30 2022 I needed my wiring checked and my switches in two my rooms changed out. I wanted to replace my old porch light because wiring was bad in it and I wanted a hanging porch installed. Joe and Pete came out right on time not a minute late. They both were very friendly and so professional. They did the work in no time and they checked and replaced everything. And before they left they made sure everything was in working order. Checking everything one more time. I want to give Joe and Pete the highest praise for a job WELL DONE... I could not have asked for better service from two professional experts as Joe and Pete . I've used JC Electric three times now and every time they've been consistently awesome. From the incredibly nice (and helpful) appointment lady to the electricians - it's been a wonderful experience. We've done projects ranging from a really complicated and long distanced car charger to a simple ceiling fan repair. Always the same level of thoroughness, attention to detail, and quality work. One thing I also really appreciate is each time they've sent out a really experienced electrician with someone they're training and the kindness and patience they give to the person training is outstanding. Like if my kid grew up and wanted to be an electrician this is the kind of company I'd want him to learn from. I could go on and on. They're the best.

Joe and Peter came out this morning and they were absolutely amazing! We are new to Texas and have not had the best luck finding a great company to hire. Very kind, extremely knowledgeable, very respectful of us and our home, and super quick! We had some issues going on at our home and they assured us they could fix them and they did! It's rare to find great people and hard workers and you got the best of both worlds working for JC Electrical Services. I'd give them 10 stars if I could. I hate to say how good they are. Tammy, Jeremy, and Andrew worked magic on two heat pumps that I thought were noisy dinosaurs. They are artists who take pride in doing a job well.
Cannot recommend this company more! Jeremy was very upfront about the timeframe of when he could get to my project and referred me to other companies if I didn't want to wait a couple weeks. He also gave me an idea of how much it should cost so I could avoid getting take advantage of. I called around and received several quotes but never felt as comfortable as I did with Jeremy. I also really wanted to avoid removing all the original shiplap in the home and no other company offered me a creative solution until Jeremy. Not only did he circumvent that issue, he also ensured that I got what I wanted but payed much less than any other quote I received. It's hard to know who to trust out there but I think Jeremy is definitely one of the good ones!
I have had multiple electricians come and check out the project- recess light installation. Just because there was no attic access and it's a sloped ceiling, some of them backed off and some never responded back to me. Then I found JC electrical service and they made it happen. Joe and the other guy (I didn't catch his name) were very professional and punctual. Within 2 hours or so they were finished with the job and cleaned up after themselves. I think the price could have been a little less, but they have done a phenomenal job. The lights were symmetrically installed to a point that it brought out a luxury look to my ceiling as well. I would for sure hire them all over again. I highly recommend JC electrical service.

Fantastic service and value top to bottom. Great communication on the telephone. Excellent text and email confirmation of scheduling. Showed up right on time. Turned out the job was smaller than I thought. Their charges are extremely reasonable. Great people to work with. I would definitely use them for any electrical work in the future.
We used JC Electrical Services to install outdoor lights, fans, and outlets and we're very happy with their service & communication! They were flexible with our construction schedule, arrived on time every time, and the quality of their work is excellent. Will use again.
I had an issue with some PowerPoints and lights not working in our bathroom and called JC Electrical Services over the Memorial Day weekend. Jeremy called me back within minutes and instead of coming out and charging me a service fee, provided me with free advice over the phone to avoid the fee. He didn't even need to do this. This was amazing service and we so greatly appreciated this. We will be sure to call Jeremy for any future electrical needs in our home. Thank you!
Called Josh Needed electric ran to a building within a 2 week span, he ended up being able to work in getting me a very resonable quote that day due to weather and then ended up coming a day earlier than promised to put it in. Had is up and running in half the time he thought it would take. Super friendly and professional guy, will definetly work with him again in the future.

Look no further! Starting with the constant communication with the office for scheduling and pricing (no hidden fees or prices and immediate responses) then Joe and Pete who did a fabulous job installing can lights, ceiling fans, pendant lights, a chandelier, a front porch light and garage light. They made recommendations of how low to hang and where to place the lights, and I wish I had more work they could do as they are wonderful! I'd give more stars, if I could!
I cannot say enough good things about JC. Jeremy and his crew came out and helped us with some upgrades including upgrading our electrical service. The City's permit process is looong, but Tammy was able to get us bumped up just in time.
The finished job turned out so clean and professional looking. On several occasions the JC team went above and beyond our expectations.
These guys are the real deal. Hard working, generous, and clean up after themselves.
We will for sure use them again and highly recommend them.
I had power inexplicably flash in part of my house. Getting in touch with someone was quick and easy, but communication could use a little work. I explained my concerns and work needed, and I was given a reasonable estimate immediately over the phone. Then this person scheduled an appointment for a specific day/time, but a second person called back later to reschedule (explaining the first didn't consider the schedule, which seemed a little strange to say to a client.)
When I received an estimate with a list of the requested work, the line items didn't make complete sense to me based on the discussion over the phone. However, in the conversation it was clear they understood my issue and confidently had a solution, so I trusted the professionals.
Appointment day, the electrician reached out to say he was running early. This was a little inconvenient given that I had a meeting, but we coordinated to avoid disruption. However, that plan was foiled when he realized he was missing a tool and had to leave for 20 minutes.
The work performed looks great and I feel confident in my house's power stability. The electrician also clarified the work items for me and how they helped resolve my issues.
TL;DR Communication/scheduling could improve, but everyone was kind, the price was right, and most importantly, the work was good quality. I would use them again for any electrical work needed.
Overall a great experience with JC Electrical. We wanted two ceiling fans installed on my patio where two existing recessed lights were. They were quick to respond, give a quote, and schedule the install. From first contacting them (late Friday) to completing the installation - it only took 6 days. The team that installed were great and very quick... they were within their quote range (about 2 hours) and Tammy was great with the scheduling. I will definitely going back to them for anymore electrical needs!

We needed a couple of ceiling fans and light fixture installed. We also needed an extra outlet under the kitchen sink to be put in. Tammy in the office was extremely friendly and helpful and we got scheduled with no hiccups.
Joe and Pete came out on time. They were extremely polite, knowledgeable and were masked up, which we deeply appreciated, especially in crazy times like this.
They made quick work of what I thought was going to take a full day, but they completed everything we asked for in half a day, and even cleaned up after, which is again much appreciated.
I can't recommend this company enough!!
I had an issue with the light in our bathroom and needed to reach out to have someone come take a look. To my surprise JC initially tried to help me over the phone so that I could avoid the cost of a service call. Unfortunately we couldn't fix the issue over the phone. They were able to quickly get me on the schedule for the following day.
Joe the technician arrived right on time and was able to quickly address the issue. I will gladly use them again in the future.
We've had Joe and Pete out twice now as we are updating our home. They are friendly and thorough and go above and beyond to provide great service. Highly recommend.

Love Jason!!life saving! Called me on the road to rescue his mother in Houston. Honest thorough smart smart smart!! No interest in ripping you off and tells you exactly what he is doing!
Our microwave was causing the breaker to trip. Called JC to add a breaker and also install some bathroom exhaust fans.
Joe was able to troubleshoot our breaker trip issue and there was no charge for this. He saved us from additional unnecessary repairs. Honest and trustworthy!

I can't recommend JC Electrical Services highly enough! We had problems with another contractor who made us wait forever, didn't communicate well, etc. and caused massive frustration. After terminating that relationship, we called JC Electrical Services. The difference was night and day! They were prompt and courteous with communications. Jeremy asked us all kinds of questions regarding our needs and our current electrical costs, coordinated with other other services involved in the job and, ultimately, discovered and let us know that we didn't even need as much work done as we had been told by the other contractor saving us money. Then they did the work quickly and efficiently. We will be calling them for all of our future electrical needs.
Still great! They are a little pricey and communication is poor in terms of the electrician being on the way. But their work is great! And and AND they stand behind it. This means a lot ! We had them install an outlet for Christmas lights only to find it didn't work a year after installation. They came back and fixed it! That makes the pricing worthwhile! Nice folks too!
Top notch and professional. I've worked with Jeremy, Joe, and Joe's son, Brandon on two separate occasions. They all went above and beyond to answer questions, provide recommendations, and they were very clear on pricing (which was very reasonable). Consistent experience on both occasions, I'll be back.

LOVE this company! I will use and recommend them for any and all electrical work! Starting with Tammy who was so sweet, efficient and professional with all communication whether text, e-mail or phone. Then Joe the electrician who removed my old master bath light and installed 2 new lights over the new medicine cabinet. He was extremely friendly, efficient and professional like Tammy. He went above and beyond to give me some suggestions on additional lighting ideas and gave plenty of communication throughout his install work. My remodel master bath is FINALLY done!! There's a reason for all of these five star reviews! JC Electrical Services is excellent at what they do. I called at 4pm on a Weds because the oven I had delivered could not be installed because another electrician put the plug in the wrong location. It's a week before Thanksgiving and I needed an oven! JC sent Jeremy out the next day. He drilled through the wall, re-wired, and installed a new plug so our nice new oven could be installed. Jeremy was professional, friendly, and got the job done - he also called 30 minutes in advance to say when he would arrive. JC is the company we'll call from now on. Five stars plus, for the quick response and terrific work.
I have nothing but positive praise for Jeremy and this company. I was facing a minor electrical issue that I was unable to solve and emailed him for a quote. He responded very quickly and outlined several items for me to check, one of which resolved the problem. No service call. No Charge. Just input from a good old fashioned honest and friendly business man. Will definitely use these guys for any issues/installs I have in the future. Also, that dog is badass - so additional kudos for that.
I can't say enough good things about JC Electrical Services. I asked for a quote to have two 20 amp circuits added to my garage. Tammy (the office manager) asked many good questions over the phone that helped them quantify an accurate quote. She scheduled the installation and Joe came out precisely on-time.
Joe was fantastic. Professional, friendly, and very well informed, he offered me several options on how to install the circuits and their respective costs. All were right along with their initial estimate. Work was done professionally and first rate. He even taught me how to install a breaker myself if I ever needed/wanted to do it on my own. When you get great service, done on-time, at the $$ they quote, AND learn something new --- what else could you ask for!
I will use them again and again when I need service.
Note to the other 2 responders to my request. One gave me a one-line email response of cost per circuit and nothing more. The other didn't bother to return my call.
What can I say but that JC Electrical rocks. I called to have them come out to do a hot tub installation and from initial point of engagement to completion was a fantastic experience. Everything about this operation is professional and honest. They called me about 30 mins before my service window to tell me they were on their way and were even better than on time. The job was done to spec and there were no surprises after the fact. These guys don't try to gouge you for stuff you don't need and they are are truly honest folks. Overall 5 star experience and I recommend them without reservation.

They were able to work us in the following day when the wait for most other companies was much longer. They were courteous, gave me the price estimate up front, arrived on time, and returned power to our A/C unit without any issues.
I called JC Electrical to have some GFCI outlets installed and to basically safety check my older home.
Got a call back quickly and was able to get an appointment the same week. I got a text when the technician was on his way, that's always helpful, so I can leave work then, and don't have to just wait at home.
Chuck was pleasant and polite, answered all my questions and all my Oh, can you look at this, too requests. He replaced a two prong outlet with a GFCI one, and tested all the others in the kitchen & bathrooms for safety.
He also inspected the breaker panel, and (from the invoice) isolated double lugged neutrals and secured connections at main panel.
I feel better knowing everything was checked out and Chuck said it all looked good. I'll definitely use JC again.

I honestly can't imagine finding a more professional, higher quality business anywhere in the entire city of Austin. We handed Joe and Jeremy an absolute electrical train wreck that left our house dangerous and unusable. They came and tracked down, identified and repaired our problem once and for all. Their prices were fair and the quality of their work and their professionalism exceeded our expectations by a mile. Literally you come across a business like this very few times in this current culture. They stayed put and worked like crazy until they found our problem. (The previous 2 companies gave up and left). I can't recommend this company enough. Thank you for saving us!!!!

Our new recessed lights are so pretty! I feel so happy every time I look at the room, which previously just had a floor lamp and no overhead lights. We had a great experience with JC Electrical. I was looking for help visualizing what the new recessed lights would look like, and where they would be placed on the ceiling. Jeremy took the time to offer a thorough (and free) design consultation in person, unlike other firms I contacted who expected me to have my own design decisions made up-front. I felt really taken care of. We also got under-cabinet LEDs in the kitchen, which really liven up the space and make vegetable chopping so much easier. Lastly, they gave us a great deal on a big job, bringing our service up to code by installing a main panel and a pole above the meter. Absolutely recommend and would hire again!

Great Company, Great Service
I contacted Jeremy, owner of JC Electrical for an issue with my microwave tripping the circuit breaker and a couple of other minor issues. Jeremy came over promptly, educated me on the topic, was very professional and pleasant. Later, he sent one of his best guys who installed a dedicated line for my microwave. Jeremy actually gave me a tip on how to restore power to my AC unit, saving me around $250 in labor. Very honest and professional individuals. Tammy was also great with scheduling. Phenomenal work! They were very prompt to respond, good pricing, and called in advance of arrival. They arrived early and were very professional and polite. Joe even helped me figure out positioning of chandelier and was super patient while I tried to hack the WiFi lightbulbs to find just the right colors. Joe cleaned and helped me move furniture back into place - talk about above and beyond expectations! I will be using them for any and all electrical work in the future.

It is always refreshing to find a company that treats all of its customers equally, no matter the size of the work they need done. We only needed two ceiling fans installed, but they fit us in same week and even adjusted their hours to accommodate my work schedule. Joe was respectful and upbeat, despite it being late on a Friday evening. I won't hesitate to reach out again next time we need electrical work!
I needed someone to check our house after our house was hit by lightening (1 in a million chance hit my house). They scheduled an appointment for the next day, showed up on time, explained everything in detail. I love to support family businesses and they are great son and father team. Very reasonable price! They listened to me to understand what I needed, and detected 2 plugs that were out and replaced them same day. Extremely happy with the service we got, and they are my go to person from now on for all electrical repair need. I hope I never need them for lightening related issues though! Jeremy and team did fantastic work, at a reasonable price.
I had to delay and reschedule a couple of times due to not yet having the device that I needed installed (an electric vehicle charger). Was never a problem. Email, text, phone -- he's responsive in all ways.
When I finally did have the charger for him to install, he and his assistant showed up on time, and finished the job quickly and professionally. Would give him more than 5 stars if I could!

These guys installed recessed lights in my living room. It took ONE DAY and totally changed the look of my house. The price was reasonable - about $220 per light (installed). Would definitely recommend, it was as painless a home improvement experience as I have ever had and the results were fantastic.
Jeremy is very knowledgeable and honest. If anything that a easily done, he will guide you to do it and charge nothing. He is very very recommended

Jeremy came by today and corrected our attempted DIY ceiling light replacement withOUT making fun of our mistakes. He was prompt and personable, and he saved our day.
Work done:
I am DIYing a home theater and needed the following electrical work done:
1) Four outlets installed into free floating riser.
2) Four step lights with switch installed into the same riser
3) Electrical outlet installed on switch for rope lighting
4) Wiring run to independent circuit and outlet installed for electrical closet
My Experience:
I called him on a Friday afternoon to get an estimate. He came over in less than an hour and gave me a very reasonable price (I expected it to be much more) and we scheduled a date for him to come out to do the work.
He was right on time to do the work and even handled extra work while he was on site and we agreed on an extra $50.
His attitude and professionalism was off-the-charts good. The work was done completely in an afternoon and totally met my expectations. I would recommend Jeremy and JC Electrical to anyone needing electrical work in Austin. He was terrific.
Jeremy did an amazing job. He is very easy to talk to, very professional and knowledgeable, and very fair. He gave me quotes over the phone, so I had no surprises, and then he kept the work within my budget, prioritizing the most important fixes. He totally understood our situation and worked with us to start getting our electrical work (in our very badly flipped house) up to snuff. We will definitely continue to use him as we fix up the rest of the little glitches in our light switches, etc.
I HIGHLY recommend JC Electric. After having several different people in the house to fix various issues, Jeremy is BY FAR the most trustworthy and commendable person we've been able to work with. Easily five stars.

I would give Jeremy and JC Electrical Services more than 5 stars if I could. I had a hot water heater that seemed to not be getting power to it, but I couldn't figure out what to do. I wasn't sure whether it was truly an electrical issue or not, but I took a chance and called JC Electrical Services. Jeremy answered the phone and talked me through the process of finding my outside box, where we discovered that the issue was a tripped breaker.
Not only was Jeremy helpful, but he was extremely friendly and didn't make me feel dumb for not finding the outside electrical box myself. He gave me great advice on what to do next, given that the water heater obviously has some issue that caused the tripped breaker. I am so grateful to Jeremy for his kindness. Best of all, I've now found an electrician that I trust and can call in the future to help me with all of my electrical issues!

Joe came out and went the extra mile to have the controls fit in the existing wall switch box. He installed a dimmer for the LED fan light and a dimmer to adjust the fan speed. No chains! Great job. No mess. Will have them back whenever we need electrical service.

I called and they answered on the first ring ! Very friendly ! I had gotten a quote for outdoor lighting from another company and thought it was over priced. I know nothing about this sort of thing and I didn't want to overpay. I called for a second opinion and they said that was actually a really good price I had gotten from the other company!!!!! He told me not to worry everything they told me about transformers and voltage was correct. Basically this company cares about the customers happiness not their pocket book. I didn't go with him because I had already been through the process of estimates and such with the other company and I was on a tight time line . If I ever need any other work done I will call them. It doesn't get better then a company that's not afraid to truly help customers and not get paid anything .

Very pleased with the service from JC Electrical Services. My husband and I were doing some last minute nesting before the birth of our daughter and decided to try to replace a ceiling fan. What we thought would be a couple hour project, at most, turned into two days of frustration. After not being able to fix the problem ourselves we called JC Electrical Services. Joe, the electrician who came to fix it, made time in his schedule and was able to come to our house within an hour of my initial call (since I knew I could go into labor at any time). I really appreciated him making time for me and working to resolve the issue. Apparently old dimmers don't work with LED lights. Joe was pleasant to work with and the price was reasonable. I'd highly recommend JC Electrical Services for all your electrical needs! I called & spoke with the secretary Joann who might i add was such a sweetheart.. She was able to have an Electrician call me with then the hour & they were able to squeeze me in.. Tony & James were sent out to my house and did an excellent job!! Very well mannered, nice clean work, professional & made sure I was happy!! Stuck to there price that was given to me, Shortly after Jeremy gave me a courtesy call to ensure that I was satisfied :) Which of course I was.. Thanks again for everything :)
I called JC Electrical because I had disabled an old wired alarm system and wanted some of the loose wires to be removed or capped. I was extremely happy with my experience with them. Tammy was wonderful at setting up the appointment and explaining the price in advance. Joe showed up on time, worked quickly, and did an excellent job--he even discovered a part of the old alarm system hidden behind an object that had been overheating for a long time and posed a fire hazard. They charge a very fair price, too. I would definitely recommend JC Electrical to anyone.

Jeremy provides excellent service! I called needing a switch replacement. Once Jeremy found out what the problem was he offered to walk me through the solution over the phone. Since I have no electrical knowledge I was unable to fix the problem. He then squeezed me into to his very busy schedule and was there in 30 minutes to fix the problem! Amazing service! He provided thorough explanations of the process and was very quick with the repair. I will be calling them again and recommending to all my friends! Thanks again Jeremy!

We have a 1978 home. To say the least, the lighting has been in need of updates. We tried a track lighting set in our kitchen, but it was too hot, and not the greatest lighting for food prep or entertaining. We called JC Electric, and talked to Jeremy. We'd thought about some canned lighting, but seemed way too expensive. Jeremy was wonderful! He came out with a fantastic estimate and final pricing. We now have canned LED lighting, with a dimmer! The kitchen is so wonderful and bright! The only bad thing is that now our 1978 cabinets are seen a bit too clearly, LOL! Thank you, Jeremy and JC Electric, for shining a light on the good and bad things in our home.

I called in Jeremy to look at an electrical issue we had at our preschool. Some lights would decide to simply not turn on. When I told him we had already replaced the ballusts, the bulbs looked good and the fixtures were just 3 yrs old, he made time to come over almost immediately and troubleshoot. He assured me he wouldn't charge me unless he could fix the problem. He immediately was able to figure out what the situation was, made the repairs, asked if there were any other odds and ends he could do for me while he was there- extremely helpful, problem solving attitude from the start. Installed 4 can lights in my sewing room. Took 2 hours. The electrician explained the whole process and checked with me when he ran into issues - had to drill a hole in a beam to string wire.
I am very pleased with the results and the fact that they cleaned up so well

Very pleased with Jeremy's punctuality and professionalism. Just did a master bath remodel and had a hard time nailing down someone to do the electrical work. Found JC Electrical on YELP and saw the strong reviews. Jeremy returned calls promptly, was courteous and precise, and stuck to his estimate. It was a pleasure doing work with him and the job was first rate! Will definitely contact him for future work....
Last night, we had an unexpected electrical problem. Lights went off throughout parts of the house and our bathroom vent fan quit working. Total mystery to us. I relayed this issue and asked for quotes from a couple respected electricians around Austin. Most got back to me with a dollar number and a timeline for sending somebody out. Jeremy was the only one who messaged me with a suggestion for what to try first. When that didn't work, he called me back and talked it over with me through the phone. He gave me two options: he could come out and work on the issue and get me back up and running OR if I was handy and comfortable with it, he could walk me through what he would do and see if I could fix the issue on my own. He actually saved me nearly $200 in parts and labor. He gave me clear instructions and made sure I knew exactly what to do in a safe manner. He has my next business for sure. I'm incredibly grateful that he had my interest at heart. He knew the issue was solvable and put me in the right direction. Thank you. All is now well, and we have power again!
I just bought a house that needed a few electrical repairs before moving in: repairing the disposal electrical line, cleaning up the wiring in the breaker box, and installing a new main breaker outside. Great customer service, very professional, and reasonable pricing. Jeremy, a master electrician with 19 yrs experience, is a bright and creative problem solver. I'm an electrical engineer and had a tricky intermittent problem. I asked Jeremy to come in to provide a quote, but Jeremy was able to identify a safe, creative, cost-effective solution. I liked him much better than the other master electrician and would highly recommend him to others.
Jeremy was terrific! He was very friendly on the phone, and was able to do the service sooner than I'd hoped (and it took less time than estimated!). We needed to take care of some things in order to sell our house, so sooner was extremely helpful. He was reasonably priced, addressed the items we needed and even took care of a couple of small details that weren't on the list. Would absolutely recommend!
I called Jeremy when my dryer outlet stopped working. He got someone out to my house that day and fixed it right up. The problem was bigger than expected, but they took care of it right away. The total cost was within $10 of the estimate, even with the extra work. I was so happy with the service that I called back to get an estimate for changing out a few ceiling fans and fixtures before putting our house on the market. Jeremy is honest and the service is great. We will use them for all our electrical needs.

I was recently referred to Priority Electric by a friend. We purchased a foreclosure home, and unfortunately we had a few electrical issues that we needed some assistance with. Jeremy, (the owner) was extremely helpful over the phone and flexible in arranging an appointment to come out to our home in Pflugerville. Upon arrival, he was not only able to help with the original problem we had called him out for (our porch light) but spent additional time with wiring in our gym as well. I was absolutely amazed at how quickly he was able to get the work done, and his friendliness and professionalism cannot be beat! I'm always nervous calling out home-service contractors, but I will never hesitate to use his services again. I highly HIGHLY recommend!
