With so many companies to choose from, how does one know they got the right one?

We are in the service industry, and providing a high level of service and solutions requires adapting to those ever changing needs. Anyone can throw a new unit in, or think they repaired a broken system. However, not understanding why it broke, what caused the failure, how to minimize failures and HOW to install a new system... will lead the customer into an endless battle with their unit.

I strive to build and improve our culture and business practices. So that we always are customer focused and utilize our extensive knowledge in the industry for the best benefit of the customer.

Very happy with the service provided by GO HAP. They not only replaced my garbage disposal in a timely manner but also fixed the positioning of the original pipes so the sink wouldn't clog.

They also replaced the bathroom sink pipes. The job was done in less than 2 hours and no mess was made. Prices seemed fair. Thank you for all the help!

I have been thinking about this review for several days and really dislike placing poor reviews on Yelp. Let me explain my situation and series of events.  

I placed a request Yelp for plumbing help.  My request was to install a kitchen faucet and replace the hot and cold shut-off valves (See Image of request and response).  Go Heating and Air was the first to respond with a quote of $249.  I accepted and scheduled for Monday (it was Saturday).  When the rep/tech from Go Arrived I told him what I wanted and what was quoted.  He responded by saying that it would be $300 for the first shut-off valve and an additional $100 for the second valve.  Than the cost of installing the kitchen faucet would be another $250.  So my original quote for $249 is now $650.  I told the rep/tech No Thanks and I paid a $60 service fee for their visit.  The rep/tech said I can assure you that we are $70 less than any other major company you can because I use to work for all of them.  He was pretty confident that I should be happy to pay more than 2X their quoted price for their services.

Looking back at the situation,  I paid $60 to Go Heating and Air for a mistake/misunderstanding on their part, and I guess my mistake for paying?

The owner of the company contacted me immediately regarding this issues and was extremely profession, as was Heather that called me the next.  Now I understand that as a company that you have problems and issues, but how you resolve those problems is what makes a company fair and just in the eyes of the customer.

Because of they way they handled this issues, I will use Go again and I will trust the work that being done at my home.

Thank you for your follow-up, you did not have to do that, and thank you for resolving this issue to my satisfaction.

Had 3 visits for around $1,000 with no resolution. As I write it is 81 degrees in my house.  I called another repair service and he could audibly hear the compressor leaking.  I have no use for service without integrity.  I do not recommend any of their services.

After not having a great experience with another plumber, I was hoping Go Plumbers would be an improvement and save the day. And they did. David Gilmore assessed my mother's kitchen plumbing issues thoroughly and that's an understatement. If he hit a snag, he quickly figured it out. His friendly attitude and knowledge was a relief. It was a little more expensive, but when you know a great job was done, it's worth the extra cost.

My house Has two older systems, and once again I needed to call GO. A different tech this time, but it was the same experience. This time it was Korey that showed up; again on time, very professional, knowledgeable, prepared, patient, and ready for work. It appears that this is just how things are done at GO, and I honestly can't make a higher recommendation.

Our heater wasn't turning on, so we messaged GO on Yelp and they responded within just a few minutes with an appointment for the next morning. Josh came out to service our system and he did a very thorough job. He effectively communicated the issue, offered suggestions for maintenance, and was very professional. We would definitely recommend GO and will use them in the future.

We received estimates for both a plumbing and HVAC issue. Estimates were free and communication went well with both technicians. The HVAC professional provided a quick fix for an issue that other professionals quoted thousands for. The plumbing contractor provided a fair estimate and taught us more about our houses plumbing in the process

This is only information from someone that received a quote (Quote 813142) and did not purchase services from this company.  I am rating a 3 because I chose not to go with this company due to their very high price and some information that I was given by the person that came to my home that I have never heard anyone else ever say in person or on the internet.  Here's the story.

I was quoted $3300 (parts and labor) to replace a 20 gallon tank hot water heater and add a flood stop valve.  Now I've had a 40 gallon water heater replaced before at a different house and it only cost me $1300 (with parts and labor) so I definitely had some sticker shock.  Maybe that's normal now, but I'm not sure that labor inflation has gone up this much in 5 years.  Maybe it has though. . . (Doesn't look like it when I check homedepot.com though).

Second, I was inquiring about maybe going tankless because I have an attic mounted water heater and I would definitely like to not have to worry about losing a ceiling one day because the tank fails.  The person from this company was vehement that tankless water heaters use more electricity than tanked water heaters.  What?  Isn't the whole point of tankless water heaters that they use LESS electricity?  Hasn't most of Europe switched over to tankless because they use less electricity?  Doesn't the US Government's EPA say that tankless units use 34% electricity on average?  What is going on here?  

Whether the company stands by this claim or denies that their guy said it. . . I would never go with a company with such suspicious pricing and that makes such suspicious claims about energy usage.  YMMV.

Had some maintenance done a little over a month ago and they recommended some energy effective upgrades that were scheduled and put in today.  Jorge was on time and ready to get to work. While in the attic he noticed that my access vents weren't as efficient as they should be and recommended a roofing company that would come out and give me an estimate for better vents.  The roofing company was able to come out while Jorge finished up his work and gave me a free estimate to replace vents and found some hail damage on my roof that would have been left to deteriorate for years to come. Thanks Go Heating, Air & Plumbing for having the customers best interest in mind!

As it turned out my issue was very minor and something we should've been able to figure out on our own but the gentleman that came out to service us was very polite, cleaned up behind himself and was very informative.  I would definitely use them again.

Montrell Garrett did a fabulous job servicing our air conditioning unit in a mid-rise condo in downtown Dallas. We get regular service from Go Heating and Air. They come out twice a year to perform all sorts of tests on the air conditioning compressor unit inside of the condo. I was surprised today to learn how comprehensive those tests actually are. They take off the panels of the unit and check the coils and do electronic tests on the unit; it is all quite impressive. Montrell went above and beyond by explaining what he was doing and also by sharing information about the importance of a surge protector. We had him install a surge protector and are glad that our unit is protected. Go heating and air services many clients in our building. I recommend them because they are reliable.

Honest and thorough. These guys were amazing. It turned out my issue was with the city's connection, not with my house's plumbing. They called the city services and had them come out to repair it. They did not charge me for this. I really want to thank them for their help, and highly recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing services.

What a great experience: Incredibly professional, called ahead to set appointments, texted with technician arrival updates, courteous, wore booties on their feet to protect our floors, extremely knowledgeable, made sure we understood the work done and that we were comfortable before they left. They found a problem in our system that has been there for about 7 years which no other company has pointed out. They will be getting additional work from me because of it!
This is the second time I have had them out to service my equipment and will continue to use their services.
Their pricing is competitive (if you want to test it, ask them how much they charge for a pound of refrigerant vs one of the big names you see advertising on cable stations)

The technician, William, arrived on time on the earlier side of the arrival window.  He was quick and efficient in diagnosing and explaining the problem. Turns out it was just a capacitor that he quickly replaced.  I wasn't at home, but my mother-in-law was there and he was very polite and respectful.  The price of the repair was very reasonable.  I will definitely use their services in the future.

Fast, competitive bid, excellent communication.  I posted the job on Home Advisor to review the condition and cost to replace 5 HVAC units on our commercial building in Allen, TX (we are out of state owners).  Sammer from Go Heating responded the same day.  He was on the roof of our commercial building the VERY NEXT DAY.  The day after that I had a thorough, easy to understand, fairly priced  bid in hand.  He detailed the make and model of each unit, when it was installed, its current condition, when it would need to be replaced and what the cost would be to replace and maintain.  

We were negotiating with our tenant as to who would be responsible for the HVAC.  It took over a month.  During that time, I had many texts, emails and calls with Sam; he unfailingly got back to me the same day.  As it turns out, our tenant will retain HVAC responsibility, however, should we ever need a HVAC company, Go Heating & Air will be our first call.

I highly recommend this company and in particular, Sammer.  He is hardworking and honest.  It is a relief to have someone of his caliber on the ground when we are so far away who is easy to communicate with, has competitive pricing and is excellent at what they do.  You can't go wrong with Go Heating & Air.

Disappointed by the installation team's work on a new condenser, evap coil and supply plenum. The result: a new, malfunctioning system that didn't cool as well as the old system from 2004 -- couldn't cool the house below 76 degrees and the airflow wasn't balanced at all; some vents pushed air well, others barely a whisper of air.

All told, it required multiple phone calls and appointments with their team to diagnose the problem and correct the mistakes the first installation crew made. To their credit, the second crew did the work correctly and efficiently, something the first crew was incapable of accomplishing.

The salesman was unprofessional (he offered harsh criticism of competitors and a GO colleague), the first installation crew was ploddingly slow and inept, especially one member who attempted to charge me an additional $5,500 (replace entire ductwork that I suspect he damaged) to make the new system work as well as the old, failing system. The second installation team installed dampers and replaced yards of ductwork for no charge. Imagine that.

To sum up, unless you want to hire a poorly organized company that is abhorrent at communicating amongst its dispatch, sales, and installation teams, I highly recommend you avoid choosing GO for your heating, plumbing or AC needs.

Update: Thank you, Sam, for calling, listening and doing your best to improve our experience with GO. I'm hopeful your company takes the feedback to heart and adjusts its practices accordingly.

Go did a great job installing my Nest Thermostat.  They were able to provide me a fixed quote and get out to do the work quickly.  The tech was friendly, knowledgeable and had the Nest thermostat installed and online within an hour or so.

Avoid this company at all costs! Beware of their deceitful tactics - all of their 5-star reviews are paid for. This organization is solely motivated by money and their shoddy installation of cooling systems is proof. Within mere years, the AC motors give out, leaving customers with a broken system and unreasonably high repair costs. Moreover, their lack of customer service is absolutely unacceptable.

I highly recommend GO Heating, Air and Plumbing. I contacted them during the winter storm in an emergency situation with my rental property and not only did they respond immediately, but scheduled the appointment two hours later. The tech was knowledgeable, honest, and diligent. He quickly assessed the situation and remedied it. He could have up-charged me for the treacherous weather conditions, but this company did not take advantage of me. It's hard to find honest, knowledgeable, and trustworthy people in this business. I will certainly be calling them again in the future when the need arises. Thank you!!

After another company caused intentional damage to our heating system, the owner Sam personally took care of us and got our system working great. Friendly technicians that came and turned on my unit.  They didn't fix the problem, which is all I care about.  The wires in the unit were exposed and they just said I had a bad compressor.  The issue for me was the technicians I had spent most of the time pretending to work because all they did was turn on my break and the cap on my backyard unit.  The rest of the time they spent selling me on some service plan.  I spent almost 300 bucks for them to come out and not fix the actual problem.  There are better techs in DFW.

After months of furnace troubles, another furnace provider failed me. Go heating arrived an hour after I phoned. Jorge went above and above to assist me in diagnosing and choosing a new furnace. He found found the component and fix it. He was affordable and spent a lot of time solving the issue. Jorge is knowledgeable and explains well. I'll call them for a new furnace because I was so pleased! Please call them. Thank you

Our AC does not cool properly and was not getting down to the level that we set it. I originally booked GO with a 0$ service fee for a few days after my request but had an earlier appointment. Melvin scheduled me and was very responsive and helpful they were just all booked up! I cancelled my appointment and realized there was still an issue so I requested it back and they obliged with no issue. Angel was our technician and he came out for a second opinion to check everything- though they found nothing wrong with the unit he was very thorough and informative on ways that could help our AC run better even with our builders poor design that leads to less efficient cooling than we would like. I would 100% use them in the future if more fixable issues arise or we would like to move forward with suggestions.

Our AC unit when out out of nowhere! We purchased our house new in 2018. I called my builders and they said it was out of warranty, I was shocked. So I went on to search for an AC company near me and they came up and had great reviews I thought to give them a shot. John was a really nice guy, as soon as he arrived started checking out the unit. Within 30 minutes he brings me out and tells me that it's not my unit. but something exploded. Turned out the part was under warranty!!!!!

Overall experience was absolutely amazing, they even pressure washed my units so they wouldn't over heat from all the dirt! Definitely recommend them.

Lately they seem to be very expensive and upwelling dubious additions to projects, additions that I can quickly look up and see they aren't anywhere near as expensive compared to their quotes. I'd get competitive quotes before booking these folks on any job.

Sammer was very informative and gave me plenty of options for my home a/c unit without being a salesman about it.  Carlos and his teammate did a great job with the duct work and were really hard working.  Hopefully the air is evenly distributed throughout the house now but time will tell on that.

Just moved to a new build.  Dumb builder forgot to flip the switch on the outside A/C unit and I called the go air people out and they didn't pretend it was something expensive.  He said builder forgot to flip the switch.  OMG saved me a ton.  Highly recommend.

I called GO at approximately 3:30pm on a weekday afternoon. I was told that if they sent a plumbing that it would be an after hours $185.00 charge. Ray called from GO and I explained that our AC repairman had diagnosed that our leak was from the ptrap in the attic and would require replacement by a plumber. He argued with me insisting that their AC department would handle this issue. He was condescending and rude and actually sent an AC person instead of a plumber. The AC man said that it would need their plumbing department and he would not charge us for his trip.  Finally a plumber arrived and it was Rude Ray who quickly replaced the ptrap and billed us for $438.00 which was the after hours service call and replacement of the ptrap. To add insult to this entire process GO charged my account three separate charges of $438.00 and it took two days to correct their overcharges.

This company is a joke speaking about service fee was waved and offering a 10 year warranty and a full clean on my system to fix it when all it needed was to get the fan replaced for $50! !! But u depend on people not knowing anything to hound and pound on them and screw them out of their money. U can speak as eloquent as u want but at the end of the day u pray on the ignorant and nothing else.

They initially responded to my need for plumbing services through Yelp. I gave them information about the job and they asked for my number which they said they were going to pass on to their Plumbing Manager. Never heard from the Plumbing Manager or from Sammer again. The least they could have done was to let me know they weren't interested in the job so I didn't wait for them. I waited giving them adequate time to get back to me but they never did. Their loss is my gain! I did some internet research and figured out how to take care of the plumbing issue myself. Saved me hundreds of dollars! To think the last two times this issue happened I called a plumber in to take care of it. Not anymore! I won't bother with Go Heating & Air Services next time I have other plumbing needs nor for Heat and Air needs. They couldn't be bothered to get back to me and wasted valuable time. Good, timely communication and good, timely service is what earns my patronage.

$400 for a valve replacement that took 20 minutes to complete. I should have watched a YouTube video and done it myself for 10% of the cost.

Was told part of the cost was because I needed social order parts, but the technician refused to tell me how much the parts cost when asked. Furthermore, what kind of special order parts can be picked up within 30 minutes?

Appreciate Sammer's comment and understand that it costs money to run a business. The point is not that I agreed to the cost or paid it. The review is to warn future customers that they will almost definitely overpay for simple services. I should have pushed back more in the moment and would advise others to be cautious.

We recently moved into a new house and had service done on all 6 units. The rep was a nice guy, but there was apparently a miscommunication between the rep and the staff, which led to a miscommunication with myself. When the owner Sammer was made aware of the issue he personally came over and spent 2 hours taking me through every unit, educating me on our system and answered all of my questions. The owner showed me that he cares about the customer experience and went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. I will definitely use his company again for our servicing needs.

I don't agree with their ethics. Yes its good customer service and yes its good quality work. No they are not honest and what could be a easy fix they suggest you need a whole system costing you thousands of dollars. Shame on you lerking on people that don't know their stuff and trying to earn a quick buck.

I had an amazing experience with Go Heating ,Air and plumbing. Started with John King who came out to determine what I needed. I had my ducts clean and a new heating/AC unit put in . I also put an Ionizer unit on each A?
/C /Heating unit that will help eliminate dander, ,germs etc.
Jorge and the crew were amazing. They cleaned up everything very well. I highly recommend GO heating ,air and plumbing. I am a happy girl today !

The tech showed up on time, understood his business and did a great job with my summer tune-up. A little pricey on a capacitor (which is why he didn't get 5 stars) but overall a good job. I'll use them again...but I'll have my own capacitor just in case.

They came out multiple times to fix a problem they created and finally gave up. I hired another plumber who fixed it in 10 minutes. Nice guys but didn't do well at all.
