A few months ago, I contracted with Elder to upgrade my panel while beginning a remodel, and not only was the service top notch and price fair, but he's just a really great person. Throughout the remodel I've worked with a variety of tradesmen, and even though it was a relatively small job, Elder stood out as someone I look forward to working with in the future. As we're nearing the completion of the remodel and I need more electrical work done, it's nice to know the job will be done right by a decent person I can trust. Finding an electrician was tough.  But once I gave Elder a call he made it very simple. We agreed on a date and he was there the same week.  He made the process very easy and offered a very reasonable price.  I would highly recommend his services.

Elder helped re-wire and upgrade the panel on two propteries and helped me run low voltage lines for my security cameras in another house. Elder was top-notch and gave the best price out of the 15 electricians I had asked. He was able to show up on short notice the next day to install a dedicated high-watt plug in our bathroom and was in-and-out in only a few hours! He was very knowledgeable and eventhough running a dedicated circuit under the house was incredibly difficult, he was able to troubleshoot on the spot and get it done quickly. I would highly recommend using Avila Electric for all electrical needs going forward.

Avila Electric is amazing! I called over the weekend with a non-urgent job and Elder showed up at 8am on Monday and was in and out in an hour. He was able to trouble shoot the problem and correct my outlet quickly. He also took a look at my sub panel to make sure that it was in good working order before he left. I called multiple electricians and his prices were better than everyone!

As always,  trying to find an electrician the last minute! :(  He was the BOMB!  Honest Guy! and GREAT JOB! Came through in such a short noticed!  Hard to find a Professional nowadays.  Will definitely work with him again. Have a few projects coming up and I know who to call, but will plan accordingly. Elder Avila did an outstanding job replacing an entire faulty electric panel. While awaiting the full panel, he replaced one connection for my office that had caused me to have no use of my computer or phone.  He showed me that damaged part and it looked like it could have caused a fire!  I felt completely confident in his knowledge and capability to solve all my electrical problems.  THANK YOU to Avila Electric!!!!

I have worked with Elder at Avila Electric for over 10 years. Pro all around from quotes, to the work and the follow up. The latest project he has competed for me was a 2-gang meter upgrade for a 1957 duplex in Highland Park and a complete rewiring of one of the units including ceiling can light installation. His consultation and product recommendations are spot on & the work is timely and professional and of course permitted and to code.  Highly recommended professional electrical work.

I recently renovated the kitchen in my condo in Santa Monica. Elder Avila came highly recommended from a business associate and he did not disappoint! His work passed the rough inspection easily and he was pleasant to deal with throughout many visits. I would use him again and would recommend him without reservation!

Had two ceiling fans, an outdoor plug and switch installed today by Avila Electric.  They did an absolutely amazing job! Showed up on time, covered up walls and floor to protect from dust and cleaned up after work was done as if they were never here. Super happy with all the work, top quality, professional, will be using them again and would highly recommend to anybody.

I don't normally write reviews, but since I've received such stellar service from Avila Electric for over a decade, I feel compelled to give them a glowing endorsement. I am a real estate agent and have dealt with many trades relating to homes over the years and Avila Electric is my go-to for all electrical needs. I hired them 11 years ago to re-wire a home I had just purchased in Echo Park - the prior electrician had really messed things up and Elder Avila came in; re-did everything giving me recommendations, safety advice, and keeping me in the loop all along the way.  Not only did he come in on-time and in-budget, but his follow-up and conscientous work ethic is what really makes him a true professional and one that I totally trust and rely upon.  If Elder tells me something needs to be done, or doesn't as the case may be, I know it to be true.  Also, if there is an electrical issue that becomes stingy or hard to figure out, he doesn't stop until he completes it, no matter how long it takes.  I will continue to call them for all electrical related work, and refer my clients to them!
