I couldn't recommend this company ENOUGH!! They were speedy, incredibly knowledgeable, honest and way less expensive than their competitors.

I truly have never been in such a good mood with a broken dishwasher... that's how enjoyable the owner, Dylan is to have working in your house.

He diagnosed the issue, got the parts and completed the job in two days. Other companies were booked out a week and ive worked with others in the past and those companies have NEVER gotten a job done nearly that fast.

I couldn't give higher praise. I will definitely be using them again in the future.

This was the worse appliance experience I've ever had.  First I waited for 4 hours and then finally called them.  They said I gave them the wrong address.  Ever so, there are only 8 houses on the entire street.  They were supposed to call before they came out, and if they were at the wrong house (no such number), they should have called me.  Then, the guy that answered the phone came out 2 hours later - this is 6 hours I'm waiting for them.  He got the washing machine working, but had a bad attitude because he said they had come out twice.

3 days later the washing machine was acting up.  I called and spoke to the gentleman and he said it was working when he left and he was busy, so cut the call off.

This morning I called again.  This time he hung up on me.  I called right back and got an answering machine so I left a message, and of course did not get a call back.

I called another company and they had a service rep out within 2 hours.  The reason the machine wasn't working today, is that the gentleman that was here 3 days ago had turned off the hot water.  

This man was rude, and incompetent.    I can't even believe a business person would hang up on somebody.  I hope nobody wastes their time or money on this company.

Dylan came to fix our dryer on a Saturday and had the part in his van which is never the case typically for these kinds of issues. They called to tell me that he was on his way and he called on arrival. He knew exactly what was wrong and even fixed what I damaged trying to do it myself from watching YouTube videos. I was surprised that I didn't see 5 stars across the board for this company. I would gladly reach out to them for all of my appliance service needs. He was polite, clean, respectful and had a great sense of humor. He was conscious of covid wearing his mask and gloves the whole time. Such a relief because you never know what will happen when you need repairs. I recommend without reservation.

Horrible nightmare. Technician came out and wrote what parts we need it for my refrigerator but not the estimate that I asked for with the prices of the parts and the labor and the bottom line. I called for days to get these things added to the paper so I could give it to my home warranty company. The old man who answered the phone just hung up on me almost every time. Never got anything done but had paid him For the estimate

While Dylan is a nice enough guy I can't say I would ever hire him again. I didn't like the fact that after he replaced the pump on the dishwasher he did not put it back in straight. He wanted to charge me another $150 to do that, claiming it was a rat's nest behind it. But that was cleared out and not an issue. Nor was the flooring, which was the other excuse he gave. I know this because I had another company come out and square it up in less than half an hour. None of those were issues. At least the dishwasher is up and working. I'll give him credit for that.

Dylan and 786 appliances were awesome. Dylan is highly knowledgeable and was able to identify and solve the issue faster than other companies were even able to come out to take a look. My Dacor French Doors fridge died on a Wednesday , he was able to come look at it and diagnose the problem on Thursday, received the necessary parts on Friday, and worked on it through Friday evening to get everything working again. My fridge is back and working good as new.

Very bad experience Owner is being very rude.He accused me of breaking the microwave Why would anybody want to do that.its been 2 weeks after a small microwave repair it keeps tripping off. Every time I close the door. when I call him he says to press the stop button before opening the door. I thought that's weird. Anyway followed all his instruction. After a week later it tripped twice finally stopped  working I paid $250 for this repair.This business is unless, rude people, bad service Never ever call him. It's waste of your time and money.

Made an appt for Wed. between 10 and 1.  Nobody called me so I called them after noon only to hear that he wouldn't be able to come today but we try again between 8 and 11 the next morning.  Next morning, I had to call him again after 10 am.  Told me he'd be there in 30 minutes but more like an hour.  My oven fan was noisy and told me I needed two fans and one switch for a total of $500.  I asked why 3 parts were needed when he didn't even locate the faulty part.  He threw his business card on the table and said see that.  I am the owner, take my word for it.  I paid him the $90 and we parted ways.  He needs to be on time and better explain why he needs 3 parts instead of just 1.  My guess is that he just throws all the parts that might be the problem and the customer picks up the tab.  He needs to be able to better explain why it costs $500 to replace a noisy fan.

Gave a window of availability of 1-4, and called after 4 to let me know he was on the way. Got here, and didn't listen to me about the feet being unbalanced causing the rocking. Stated that it had to be a thing that needed parts ordered (shocks or struts I can't recall) and quoted 350 on parts/repair. Refused to give a written explanation of costs/problems. Stated that he didn't have time to wait for me to make a decision, but said the offer was valid for a week. He was in and out in under 10 mins without making an attempt to repair it outside of watch it run a spin cycle. Got a second opinion and repair for 120, to balance the feet, and remove the bolts installed for the move. Now the washing machine is working practically silently. No additional parts. Repaired same day. I truly did not appreciate his dismissive attitude or his shady handling of my call.

We had a great experience with Dylan. We had him out in mid-February, both to fix our old refrigerator and to replace the rubber door gasket on our washing machine. He was friendly, on-time, and clearly very knowledgeable about all aspects of the repairs in question.  I found the costs of the repairs to be extremely reasonable.

We have dealt with a number of appliance repair folks over there years, and I now rate Dylan at the top of that list.   We will definitely call him in the future, and we highly recommend him to other customers.

Late for repair appt.  With $85 plus tax and fee $92.  The quote was for over $700 to fix my top load washer essentially replacing all the electronic parts and labor.  The troubling part was the unit blew something in the middle with water and an item still inside.  The tech explained you have to replace everything before you can get the item out.  With the little bit of play in the lid, a small release catch was pushed in lightly with a key and opened the lid.  When I called to discuss, the conversation was a bit hostel asking why this was not communicated.  Not as transparent or customer minded as one would expect.  A new washer was ordered avoiding any more issues with repair.

I would give Dylan a millions stars if I could! I spent over a year trying to get my refrigerated repaired and I think I had just given up. I had multiple companies come in and multiple people look at it with no avail. I was incredibly lucky to have Dylan come in and look at my fridge and HE FIXED IT!!! I'm so grateful I could cry! It's cold, there is ICE in my ice maker and just knowing I won't need to go outside to my garage to get my food is the best feeling in the world! It hasn't even been 24 hours and my fridge is working perfectly! On top of all that, Dylan has incredible customer service. He stayed until everything was fixed, text to check up on how the fridge was working and really made what has been so stressful, an easy process. THANK YOU Dylan!!! You are truly the king of repairs! I'm so, so, so grateful! I couldn't recommend him more!

Dylan was SO KIND! Our fridge stopped cooling and stopped working and was tripping the breaker and Dylan diagnosed it on Friday, and found the parts and fixed it by Saturday. He worked diligently and knows what he's doing! Thanks Dylan!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

Did you know your conversation with the technician is being recorded?  First of all, even though it is allowed in Texas, I don't appreciate being recorded without prior notice. I feel this is an invasion of my privacy in my home. this is what happened:

The tech came as promised and determined that my microwave could not be fixed.  After some discussion about whether to replace it above my range, he was told to put the microwave on the floor in the living room. He said whoever came behind him to replace the microwave would charge me to take it back down if he put it back up.

I left the room and he decided to put the microwave oven back up anyway.The next day I discovered that he did not replace any of the screws except the large bolts that held the microwave in place, and he took all of the other the screws holding the microwave together with him.   I called him to ask him to come back and replace the screws but each time I called he hung up on me. At that point, I wasn't as concerned with the service call as I was with the customer service response. The call finally rang through to the answering service and she said she would have someone call me back.  I didn't get a callback so I went online to the website and expressed my concern that I might have been scammed and that the tech was misrepresenting the company as well.

As it turns out, I did get a response to my email, but once again, the customer service component was missing.  The owner never once apologized for the tech hanging up on me, but proceeded to tell me that his tech had gone above and beyond and that its because of people like me that no one goes above and beyond anymore.  He also proceeded to tell me that I was not charged properly for the services the tech provided, nor for the new parts which he claimed the tech left in the microwave, and that he was going to investigate that as well.  Why the tech left new parts in a microwave that was inoperable is beyond me.  He supposedly heard the conversation, since he was recording, so he knows that I paid what I was told I owed.  I have never been treated so rudely by a service company.

I made an appointment for Thursday, November 6th between 3 - 5pm.  At 4:50pm I called the company because there was no word from the technician.  I was disconnected after telling the person who answered the phone my concern.  I waited about 10 minutes but no callback, so I called back.  The person remembered my call, but instructed me the technician was on a commercial call but offered no apology or concession to make it right.  Instead when I suggested that maybe someone should have called to give me an update, I was told I did not pay then anything and he didn't have time to argue with me.  So I promptly told him to cancel my request for electrical service.  If the pre-service is this bad, I don't even want to know what the post-service is like.  Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this company.

I had filed a claim with my warranty company on a weekday afternoon. The next day, Dylan contacted me to find out a good time to come. He had gotten stuck on an emergency gas line issue at another residence, but still came and replaced my garbage disposal after normal hours. He was knowledgeable and walked me through the whole process. So grateful to have a repairman like him and his crew!

Dylan has fixed a few appliances in our home (washer and refrigerator). They are now running perfectly. He actually knows his stuff pRetty well. His service fee ranges from 80-100$ depending on the work, which I think is pretty reasonable. I highly recommend Dylan. If you are conceRned about service fee just give him a call beforee hand and he'll definitely give you u an estimate. I highly recommend him.

First, if you read no further, know that the owner/operator Dillon is recording 100% of your conversation from the start. I picked up on this little tactic as he is not so subtle about asking you leading questions while he is onsite wearing a ridiculously oversized bluetooth microphone.

I called 786 Appliances for a repair of a chest freezer in my garage. The unit was making a signature clicking sound when a relay switch goes bad, which I told him over the phone. Dillon showed up, and confirmed that it indeed was a bad relay switch. He further confirmed that the compressor was still ok by testing the coils, and after replacing the relay switch, the compressor started running again - which we both stood there and confirmed. It took him 5 minutes and a $15 part, and for that he charged $340 - a rip, but I needed the freezer running, so I let it go. Dillon then left, and less than an hour later I noticed the compressor had stopped running. I tried to communicate that to him via text, but he continually argued that it 'just needed to cool down.' Um, What?!?? After a dozen text messages, he still refused to come back out until the following day, and then pulled a no show during the window he said he would be there. When he finally showed up an hour later, he said my compressor was bad and needed to be replaced, and would cost around $900, but that he would credit the $340 he already charged me for the relay switch replacement. The entire chest freezer was $600 new, so yeah... a ripoff. I told him no.

So, I went with an actual professional to replace the compressor for $475. BUT, it turns out that the reason my compressor went bad is because Dillon installed what is called a hard start switch that was way oversized for the compressor, and delivered too much amperage to the unit, likely causing it to overload and stop working (this was confirmed by the second technician I had out, who just shook his head in disbelief). When I messaged Dillon about this, he started backpedaling stating that your compressor was never running!!!  I told him to go listen to the convo I knew he was recording, which he refused to even acknowledge. This guy is completely unprofessional, only half knows what he is doing, and is a liar to top it off. Buyer beware.

Technician did show up on time and was very nice, which is appreciated.  However, we were overcharged for the work performed. Refrigerator water spout was not functioning properly and gas stove burner would not light. Diagnosis on water spout was that the manufacturer no longer made the part needed to fix it. So no work was performed, only a diagnosis, which another company had already told us about the possible unavailability of the part, for free. I was charged $85 service call for that portion. The stove burner apparently just needed a bit of cleaning with a pick and steel cloth. Technician asked me to clean it with the steel cloth and proceeded to spend only a few minutes assisting with halfway cleaning out burner holes. Then I was asked to finish up the cleaning myself. I was charged $150 for the stove repair. I do not expect people to work for free but the work performed and the costs involved to me were out of line. At a minimum the $85 service call charge should have been applied towards the $150 repair. It is unfortunate that the customer experience was ruined by poor billing practices. I will use someone else next time.

My dishwasher was repaired, but technician did not replace dishwasher  back in proper position. We noticed the electrical receptacle on side of cabinet had been pushed out when dishwasher was placed back in cabinet. Called him back to remove and replace dishwasher correctly. He replaced it, but it was tilted and not level; middle basket would automatically roll out of place every time I opened dishwasher. Talked to owner about coming back out to correct problem and was told I should have been charged for him returning to replace it in cabinet after repairing.  Thought the 90 day parts & labor covered issue such as this, but was told that it only covered dishwasher parts he repaired nothing more.  So, I contacted and paid another plumber to come out to replace and level dishwasher properly.

I highly recommend this company, which I already have to all my neighbors.  I used them twice and was very satisfied both times with the service and the finished product.  Dylan, the owner, is very knowledgeable, capable, and competent.  He also provides very good customer service.  On the Sunday morning of July 12, 2020, we were pulling out of the driveway for a two week trip, when I ran back into the house for something i had forgotten, and saw a lot of water running out from under the dishwasher.  OH, NO NOT NOW!  WE probably will not be able to leave on our trip for days!  I called 786 Appliances & More, Dylan answered the phone and said he would be there shortly.  He arrived in 25 mins., capped off a broken valve, and we were on the road in 20 mins.  I was so grateful to Dylan for being willing to come immediately to help us! When we returned he came and replaced the broken value.
On Aug. 5th, he came and repaired a problem with our washer and dryer.  Once again, so knowledgeable and so happy with the finished work.

Do not use this company.  I had experienced multiple times that the A/C breaker within my subpanel had tripped.  I called this company from the internet (stupid me).  The service rep showed up (in a personal car with no markings associated with the company), took a look at my subpanel and ultimately said everything is as it should be.  There was nothing he could do!  I was taken aback with being charged $189 for nothing.  My wife gave him a check for the full amount.  Soon he was back saying his boss indicated that they would send me an invoice online.  Approximately 30 minutes after the service rep left, I received a very rude call from his boss.  When he called on my business line, I was on a conference call with a client.  I asked my client to give me a second to answer the ringing phone.  The boss immediately launched into me demanding to know if I received the invoice.  I explained that I was on a conference call on business and could not log out of my work laptop to open my personal computer to check email until after my business call.  He was relentless in demanding that I check to see if the invoice was here and when I was going to pay the bill !!!  I practically had to hang up on him to return to my conference call.  After my call, I did look at my personal email and had NOTHING from him.  As it turned out, my wife had given the service rep her email address.  My wife forwarded it to me to pay the invoice.  I will pay this ridiculous invoice but unless you just get off on rudeness, I would steer clear of this company.

I try to buy local as much as possible, 786 appliances and more is not a company I will call again for service repair or anything. The owner, Dylan, claims to be a specialist on Samsung appliances. My Samsung refrigerator stopped dispensing ice and water so I called for service. Dylan came out and his diagnosis was that my water pressure was too weak. I've had this refrigerator for a couple of years and the water pressure has not changed. I explain to Dylan that my icemaker was producing ice with no problem but that the door was not dispensing ice or water. I had already replaced the door switch which did not resolve the issue. Upon completion of his diagnosis of low water pressure, he charged me $85.  The water line going to my refrigerator comes from a reverse osmosis filtration system in my kitchen. I contacted my RO installer and he came out and verified that the water pressure is appropriate and has not changed in the years that I've had this system. I contacted Dylan again and reiterated the dispensing issues and confirmed that the water pressure is not the problem.  I questioned the possibility of a control panel issue Dylan then agreed that it could be a control board issue. I requested pricing on parts for repair, but did not receive any information. I did some research, made some phone calls, and determined what part was needed to be replaced. I ordered the needed part. Still having not heard from Dylan,I followed up a week later.  I eventually asked for a refund of the $85 since I had received the wrong diagnosis. Dylan, who claims to own this company, refuse to give a refund stating that we don't come out for free quote.  As it turns out, I just threw away $85 for someone to tell me that the water pressure to my refrigerator was too low and that they are a specialist in Samsung appliances.
My suggestion is tnever call 786 appliances and more for any appliance service.

Scheduled for Maytag Dryer. No show no call. I called (maybe got crossed) turns out something else more urgent. Couple days later of this I gave up they decided to come . Against better judgement I went along. Big mistake but appliance service is tricky. Dylan Taylor gave me a 90 day guarantee. Nearly$400.00 later($394.13), a week of my time (and he says I'm not on the clock)? Not sure if I got the senor discount, but very sure I got the senor screw for the dryer that did not get repaired. He pushed to sell me a used one. I got a new one from the store.

I hired this company - Dylan - because of all the awesome reviews on Yelp.  Unfortunately, I cannot provide even a good review.  Dylan first came to my home on February 8th to diagnose the issue with my washer (it wouldn't come on).  He determined that one of two boards was broken, so he ordered both to be sure he got the correct one.  Then when they came (over a week later), he determined that it was neither of these boards but a the computer that needed to be replaced.  He ordered that part and planned to come the Monday after I returned from vacation to install it (about 10 days later).  On that Monday, he did not have the part so he called the parts distributor who told him that their records showed the order had been cancelled and they no longer had the part in stock.  So Dylan called me to recommend that I call someone else to repair my machine.   He also offered to provide me with a partial credit for the downpayment I had given him to order the part, and today 8 days later - still no credit has been issued.  That is not only bad service - it is NO service!

Totally unsatisfied.  Even though the website suggests otherwise, I believe he is a one man show, and don't let the address fool you, he doesn't really have a storefront. He was picked after exhausting several other shops with days of a waiting list.  I was there for a portion of his initial assessment and could tell he couldn't find the right combination of button pushing to get into the diagnostic mode (something I figured out later).  Without diagnostics, he was sure the main control board needed replacing and he told my wife it would be low $300s plus install on top of his original $80 service fee.  I was there a day later when he replaced it, and at this point I still trusted him.  It struck me funny that he asked if I'd looked up the price of the board, which I hadn't at that point.  It takes a full cycle to run into the problem we were having, so I paid him $370, and he left.  Later that night we ran a load, and it was still broken.  I got on the internet and figured out how to put it in diagnostic mode.  Conclusion, either bad water pressure, fouled, strainer on incoming water, replace water valve.  I replaced the $60 water valve in about 20 minutes, and everything works fine now. While looking for valves, I priced the board he replaced at $206-$212.  I know some probably buy wholesale and mark up a bit, but I believe he was feeling me out about how much he could charge.  The receipt he emailed had no detail.  It said $370 Custom Amount.  After I correctly diagnosed, I gave him a chance to come out and finish and asked him to bring my old part and his receipt for it so I might be able to put the old board back and return the new for some type of credit.  We decided 3:00 the next day.  I contacted him at 5:45 and he was in Georgetown.  He offered the next morning.  I stayed home from work until noon, and he was a no-show.  Summary: wrong diagnosis, over-charge on wrong replacement part, no detailed receipt, failed to return twice.
