24 Hour Key Plumbing

Called on Thursday night and scheduled for him to come between 11-1 on Friday.  As it got close to 1:00, no show.  Called and he said he made a mistake with scheduling and came in about 15 minutes. He spent 25 minutes to fix what I thought the leak was.  But, before he left, he never verified that this was, in fact, the only leak. There was a major leak just below where he fixed.  I couldn't get a hold of him on Sunday. This resulted in me having to call someone else to fix another leak.  $350 wasted.

Ok here's why I'm writing this review. Bobby key who is the owner did a wonderful job. I called other companies and they wanted to charge me up to 200 dollars just to come on the seen. Another Company was going to make me wait til tomorrow with no hot water. So the appointed time was 11 to 2  he showed up fix the heater and did some extra work on a water hose faucet. Well my water tank is back up now The work was affordable and he worked urgently. I would definitely call him again.

Excellent service gave an accurate price over the phone no hidden fees. I would recommend bobby key to all my friends and family.

Spoke to Bob at 12 pm.  He said he will be to my house in 2 hours. No show, no call.   Called 3 hours later,  he said he will be there in 45 minutes.   6:30 pm no show or call.   So disappointing!!!

New to homeownership, we encountered our first plumbing issue and needed assistance right away. I looked on yelp and found great reviews for 24 hour key plumbing. I called and spoke with Bobby Key (the owner) and within a couple of hours he arrived with his assistance to help us with our plumbing emergency. My first impressions of Bobby were that he was very knowledgeable and friendly. They came prepared with a full equipped work truck and shoe covers to respect the inside of customer's homes. Within 30 minutes of work, Bobby had solved our issue and went above and beyond to correct anything else that might have been an issue. He stayed within his estimate he quoted me over the phone and I told him that he forever earned our future business. Hard work and good work ethic will help this company continue to thrive. Called 24 Hour Key Plumbing morning of 2/1 to make an appointment for afternoon of 2/2 to look at a hot water heater and set a new toilet.  Confirmed they would be here between 11 and 1 p.m. on 2/2 and call before arriving.  No call and no showed for the appointment.  Would not recommend their services to anyone, unless you enjoy being stood up for appointments.

Bobby came out around 12pm on a Saturday for a leak we had. Good price, great knowledge. He had to cut and solder a pipe and still finished all in about an hour. Would definitely recommend.

I've had Bobby come out to Frisco two times. Both were emergency situations. He is my plumber on-call now! He is prompt, courteous, and extremely professional. I would never hesitate to have him come out and fix any plumbing related issue. He is even the cleanest plumber that I've ever seen!

My pipe burst in our rental house and the entire first floor got flooded. I needed a plumber right away. I first called Legacy Plumber, which I used several times in the past, but was always so put off with their up-front pricing. They wanted a $50 charge to come out, then a charge to find the leak at some $50 per quarter hour, then they'll give me an estimate for the repairs. I was looking at $200 already before they even touch anything.  Thankfully I found Key Plumbing. He responded quickly and came out promptly when he said he would, which was that day. He located the leak right away & made the repair. His pricing was reasonable and no-nonsense. He was very experience and knowledgeable, which I appreciate and will definitely use again in the future. If you care about his bedside manner- I thought he was super friendly (in a professional way). Overall a great plumber!

Bobby answered the call after 5pm and arrived not too long after to repair our emergency leak. I had already tried 4 other large plumbing companies that were either already closed or didn't call back (this was the evening before July 4th so I was worried about how long it would take to schedule). He was efficient, organized and did quality work and was very polite and pleasant. I was very grateful to find a repair person who could come the same evening.
I highly recommend this very service oriented company! We were so relieved and pleased to find him.

Called and spoke with Bobby about trying to get a same day service call since our water heater had gone out a few days ago and our home warranty company was taking forever.

Bobby was very helpful over the phone and even offered some advice on getting the burner lit again. Will definitely use them for plumbing going forward!

Scheduled with us 2 times to fix our plumbing. Backed out at the last minute both times. This was over a weeks period.

Bobby incorrectly diagnosed a shower leak without even looking behind the wall, and charged me $680 (the quoted price was $350) for just caulking the grout which he said was the cause. When the problem returned, he said he would come back out but then became unreachable for the next week, despite 3-4 calls/day. He has taken the money and run. Seems to be a pattern now (see Amber C. and Mike D.'s reviews below). I paid a premium because of his good reviews, but now I'm seeing that he's done the same to other customers. Very disorganized, he often seems disoriented, and ultimately dishonest. Would not recommend.

Had  2 backed up sinks that were over flowing. Tried to remedy the situation myself but was unable to fix it. I gave in and gave Bobby a call. He came around 10 pm and fixed my problem. Highly recommended for emergency after hours service!

Key Plumbing came out promptly and cleaned the drains even though it was Friday night. They charged less than some other companies do for daytime service.

I had a major problem in my house that needed a plumber that morning.
Bob Key answered my phone call right away.
He was able to help me within 1.5 hours, faster than 4 other plumbers took to call me back.

Would recommend to anyone!

Bobby went above and beyond for my family and our plumbing issue. He's available 24/7. He provided prompt service during the weekend (including a Sunday night). He was professional, friendly, and very thorough. Would highly recommend Key Plumbing! Thank you Bobby.

We had an toilet flush and trap block and Bobby was able to fit us in within 4 hours of calling.  He quickly found the issue and repaired our system at a very, reasonable price.

I highly recommend his services if you (unfortunately) need them.

Bobby key is a great plumber. We had a main line clog at 2:00 on a Saturday and he was here and had it all fixed by 3:30. Easy to work with. Did a good job and was very reasonably priced. Will use again.

Called him on a Sunday as I have a rental property that then tenants called informing me of a large leak in the yard (no water could make it to the house).  Called several plumbers and out of those only 3 said they would come look at it (most plumbers don't work Sundays).  Out of those 3...only one actually did go by--- Mr. Bobby Key.  He looked at it and said there was no way for him to repair it that evening as he already had a few other repairs lined up.  But promised to take care of it the next morning.  He came and took care of it as promised at a very reasonable price and am very satisfied with his service!!!  Thank you Bobby.

Great service! Bobby came on a Sunday evening (shortly after I called) when my shower drain was clogged and knocked out the issue quickly for a reasonable price.

I called keys plumbing to fix a leak in our sprinkler line. The job lasted 2 hours - and part of that time included running to the store for parts. I was grossly overcharged. I was shocked when he handed me the invoice- he never gave me any quote or estimate, just did the work and gave me an invoice. When I called around after he left and found out he overcharged me 3x more than anyone else would have I questioned the bill and was told rising costs  not to mention an hour after he left I have issues with the work.

Do NOT use this service.

Can't recommend Bobby enough. Tried to do my own repairs to a hot water heater. Turns out I needed a new one. He was very honest and asked questions specific to my problem. He quoted me a price and installed next day. He was on time and got it done quickly. Price I paid was what was quoted. He even removed the new parts I put on the old unit so I can return them! He's my new go to plumber

If I could give a ZERO I would.  
I paid Bobby Key of 24 Hour Key Plumbing $280 to replace a faucet in my back yard because the handle dripped.  
That was less then a month ago.  My husband and I both have been trying to get him to return our calls because it still drips.   When he did finally answer he promised to come out.  Big surprise he was a no show.  
So thank goodness I used my credit card.  I just called them and they a taking the money back from him.

We had a leak at front yard and City of Frisco had disconnected our water. I found Bobby on yelp and he came over at 9 pm and fixed the problem. His price was reasonable and he did a great job. The only reason I am giving 4 star is that I would have expected him to work more clean.
