My tub had been showing signs of slow draining, but it always eventually drained.

The other day it would not drain at all.  I called Mr Rooter and Aaron showed in in 40 minutes.

He flushed the toilet to confirm where the block might be and since the toilet flushed without issue, he knew it had to be the tub drain.

He brought in his router and seconds later the clog was gone. He was in my home for perhaps 30 minutes tops and the problem was resolved

You guys did nothing you said you would do after coming out and say I would get a call back, no call back no estimate.  Very unprofessional.  I would never call again I am now on day 37 with no water in my home. I am filing a complaint with BBB and yelp. That fact that I am an army vet widow and you guys refuse to help is beyond me and on top of that I told the young lady and the worker you sent to my home that I just had a stroke. I will be mentioning all of this on News channel 3.

The neighborly done right promise is a lie. Don't use this company ever. Overcharge and take so many shortcuts so the homeowner will have to fork out more money to fix their fix. All of this had to be ripped out and done correctly. Mr Rooter stopped responding to my request for a refund.

The plumber arrived when he said and made the repairs within fifteen minutes.
They are now charging a $20.00 gasoline charge in addition to the service call charge.

The work itself was perfectly done, Nathan always does good work. But...BUT...it took maybe 10 minutes for him to know what caused the problem and fix it...faucet simply needed a new cartridg. Those few minutes cost me $326....$326!!!!!!

Initially called their service for a leak underneath my kitchen island causing water damage to my floor. The company touts a 14 step check system that they says help them solve the underlying problem. The technician only looked directly under the sink and told me that the problem was really a leaky faucet without doing any further investigation. We did not receive any documentation of these 14 steps.

I was charged 500 dollars for the leaky faucet and told that the water should stop leaking from under the island. It seemed expensive but I figured if it stopped the leak that I could live with it.

I continued to notice water leaking from under the island and when called back they asked to charge another 400 dollars now that they realized that the leaky faucet was indeed not the problem, but instead it was an issue with the dishwasher.

They refused to refund me for the initial service even though they did not correctly diagnose or fix my leak, and I could not get the company to give me an itemized receipt for services, parts/labor/request for service etc.

All in all I picked Mr. Rooter to get a large company with warranty and confidence in the repair knowing the service would cost me a little more. Instead I received poor quality work, shady business practices and an unhelpful customer service department.

I will not be using their services again.

I called Mr. Rooter based on a recommendation from my regular plumber last July. They came out and assessed that the the main line from the street to the house needed to be replaced since it was old and causing problems. They had to come out 3 times to resolve water gushing out from the middle of the yard into the street. Turns out they could not repair the issue all three times and needed to bring in a third party company that specializes in irrigation. They gave the name and made arrangements with this company and the issue was resolved. Lo and behold, they did not pay the other company for the repairs they could not fix. They charged me $7,000 for a line replacement and now I am liable to the irrigation company for $1,000 to repair the work they couldn't complete and contracted. After several calls and no returned responses, the person I originally worked with left the company and is no longer there, and I am stuck with an additional $1,000 expense. THIS COMPANY IS TERRIBLE. THEY CANNOT COMPLETE THE JOB AND DO NOT FINISH THEIR WORK OR PAY THEIR BILLS, leaving their customers to clean up their mistakes. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. PS. Turns out the employee I originally worked with left this employer because of these sorts of problems. He acknowledged the company does not have integrity and does not keep its promises to customers or employees.

they were here on time and did a good job reconnecting and stopping leakage around my toilet. my only problem is the expense.
$445 for 45 minutes work and a wax gasket. extremely expensive.

Well, after using them for 15 years, I will not be using them again. Their prices always seemed a bit high but they were fast and friendly.

We had a tub go bad and after some talks with the tech, we decided to get the entire tub and shower replaced by them. They guaranteed it would be turn key and we would have it back in a couple of days. Omg, that so didn't happen. They had to redo the entire process because the first guy did it completely wrong. They also left gaping holes in the drywall and said they couldn't do anything about it. And now we have to get a contractor in to patch the drywall and have tile redoNe Stay away from them at all cost. They don't deliver on their promises and they don't have your best interest in mind.

I was very impressed with William and his knowledge of the issue I was having with my shower. He kept the work area very neat, clean and work protective shoe coverings so as to not damage my floors. He also came back to check on an additional issue that popped up and fixed that as well. Thank you William. I highly recommend signing up for Mr. Rooter's membership and recommend using them for all of your plumbing needs.

We had an appointment scheduled for 9/6/2022 from the time window of Noon to 5PM. At 2:05PM on 9/6 I called Rooter Plumbing to ask if someone would be coming to make their appointment. We were told no, that we would be pushed to 9/7 from 8AM to Noon as a priority call. At 10:56AM I called on 9/7 to ask when our technician would be arrive on site for service. We were told that our technician would reach out to us and let us know when he would be arriving. No call. I called back at 12:30PM to ask when we receive service, told that we were still 2 orders away from being receiving service. A manager finally called me back at 1:12PM to talk to me about the situation. My main complaint is poor customer service, poor response rate, and not being on time. We needed a backflow preventer test completed, and I canceled the service because we should not be rewarding businesses that treat customers poorly. I reached out to Warren Backflow at (901)482-5402 explained the situation and am receiving immediate service. My service call was pushed through 3 waiting windows and they still couldn't answer when a technician would be available.

If you want to be ripped off, then this is the right company for you. If you want to be charged for work not done or needed and refused a refund, feel free. Chose the company because they advertised local, honest, etc. Good luck with that. There are many other plumbing providers in the area. Shop around.

My husband and I made our detached garage into a studio apartment and had Mr. Rooter Plumbing to come out and add the bathroom to in. The job took approximately two days, the technician was very thorough and had an apprentice with him that was so polite. My dog loved them both, (he doesn't really love anyone) so this meant a lot to my husband and myself. After the job was complete the technician made a special trip to ensure that everything was done properly and that we were satisfied. I have recommended Mr. Rooter to all of my friends and will forever use them. #customerforlife

I am writing this review without actually seeing their work. That is because I never received a call back from their rep. I used the chat box on their website requesting information/pricing for a job I needed. The person stated they would be in contact within 15 mins. Well, 2 calls and 6hrs later and still no contact from this company. The web site states 24/7 coverage, not seeing it!!
I am a plumbing contractor and I definitely have 24/7 service. I needed a specialty that I don't do (pump out issue) on a current  project I have. Bad customer service automatically sends up red flags...I don't plan on calling them back or expecting a callback. Buyer beware.

Horrible service. It was like being in an episode of the Three Stooges! They destroyed my house more than what is typical in plumbing, I had to make an insurance claim. They didn't cover anything in my house before they cut up my sheet rock causing lots of problems with computerized equipment.  Left sharp tools on the floor in rooms where toddlers could get to them.  They left every day without cleaning up. And they were off the predicted timeline by a week that I had no water running to my house. I do not recommend them at all.

Don't use! The shower at my rental house has been plugged, I left my Aunt whose a senior citizen to meet with the plumber and ask him to write a detailed explanation of the findings before starting and work performed. The write up was one line, ran shower, and they charged $285 for a non emergency. I called immediately 4 times and emailed and have yet to get a call back from the office and a clear write up of what they found and the work performed. I feel they took advantage of my Aunt because she's older and didn't clearly write what they found and did. And are refusing to call back.

They did not even try to solve the problem with our sewer drain and said it will cost $6000 to dig up our parking lot and replace a clean out. We called a different Plumbing Company and were in and out 45 minutes later with everything fixed. They are looking for money and don't care about the customer's!!!

Let me start by saying, I have never officially done business with this company, but only because the keep cancelling. Earlier today I called Mr. Rooter for a slow drain, and was excited when they said they had an appointment for today. I was told the technician would be there between 12:00 noon and - 4:00 pm. So, I had to take a half day at work, and wait for them. At 2:55 pm, I still had not heard from the company. So, I called them to make sure I was on the schedule. I was told that I was on the schedule for after 3:00 pm. By 4:55 pm, I still had heard nothing, and called in again. I was assured that I was on the schedule. At 5:25, I received a call from the technician, and sadly, I was away from my phone. I called the company back at 5:37 pm and stated that I was there, and to please send the technician along. The next call from a technician was at 5:59 pm, and this time I answered my phone. However, a strange thing happened, when I answered it, my phone went to the technicians voicemail. I left a message that I was here, and to come on. When I was done leaving that message, I had a voicemail of my own, and it was from their technician. I was told that there were several people ahead of me, it was their second attempt to reach me (despite me answering the phone call), and the I would need to be scheduled for another day.

That was it. I called the number and was connected to the main office and cancelled my appointment. I had taken a half day from work, only to have my appointment have to be rescheduled for another day.

I will say that while I was writing this, which just happened, the technician called me. I told him that the damage was done, and I have no interesting in doing business with a company with that kind of practices. All in all, just know that you are taking a gamble with your time in working with this company.

Scammers. Do not use. Their bid was three times more than every other actual plumber. The plumber we chose did the work and said Mr. Rooter's field workers work off of commissions and will say anything to make your situation sound extreme. So glad I went with my gut and hired an actual plumber.

Beware!!! I had service in my home on 9/4 and I was happy with the job that was completed- until I looked at the bill.  I was offered two services and I chose the more expensive one and that invoice was emailed to me.  My credit card, however was charged for both services.  I've spent the past month trying to get this mistake corrected and on 10/5 my credit card was credited for part of the incorrect charge.  When I called for explanation I was told they had added items onto my invoice but acknowledged that I did not sign for the services. So I'm being charged $122 more than I agreed and $122 more than I was invoiced.  I will never use this company again!

Yesterday one of Mr. Rooter of Memphis's technicians, Lewis, came to service a leaking spigot. We just moved in to this house on Saturday and were in the process of discovering fun surprises like this one. It wasn't a gushing leak, but it was steady and needed to be addressed. Lewis noted the kind of spigot  and how it was broken. He was able to stop the leak and even took a look at one of our toilets that we had some questions about . Throughout this visit he answered all my questions and was obviously concerned with our needs. In short, I was impressed with the excellent customer service he provided.  I call Mr. Rooter for future plumbing needs (and probably request Lewis), and I definitely recommend their services

Very disorganized and overpriced service. I had a problem with my kitchen sink and they were disappointing in all aspects. They showed up 4 hours AFTER the scheduled window of time, essentially wasting 8 hours of my day waiting on them. Their quote was excessively high for the service being provided. The technician was pleasant and did seem competent, but he works for a bad company. Very glad I went with another plumber in the end.

They did offer me free membership in their member's club for showing up so late, but I declined since I will never do business with them again. Save yourself the headache (and a few bucks) and don't deal with this company.

Bob Geisenhoff was the technician that did our work. He was excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend him for any plumbing needs. He is very knowledgeable and very professional. We are very satisfied with his work.

I've used them only once, for a recent issue with a leaky bathtub faucet.   The technician arrived on time, was very professional, and got the job done.  He seemed dedicated to doing the job right and explained several details to me about what he was doing.     The price was reasonable too and came with a guarantee on the work.   I'll continue to call these folks when I need plumbing help.

I was originally going to write a great review until I checked around after the fact. They said no service charge to come out. Something was wrong with the faucet handle that regulates the hot water. It was a simple fix. The technician turned the water off outside, came back in the house, took the handle off the faucet, made a 10 second adjustment, put the handle back on, turned on the water, then I turned on the faucet back on and it worked perfect. No parts to repair or replace and only took 5 minutes or so to fix. Now I understand why there was no service call fee, which is why I called them, because they get you in the end with a Diagnostic/Service charge for $186.00. I thought about this all night, and today 10/24/2019 called 5 more plumbing companies to ask them what they would have charged for the same thing. It would have been just the service charge for coming out which was between $45 and $90 so in the long wrong, when you think your getting a fair deal, your really getting ripped off. Sorta of like a Catch 22. Don't use this company. I wish I had checked with other companies first. I was totally ripped off.

If I could leave a negative star review, I absolutely would. Since that isn't an option, this one star will have to do. DO NOT EVER EVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY. EVER! The absolutely most nightmarish experience. Very unprofessional. I was quoted a price for work on my rental home, agreed to it over the phone after discussing the final quote MULTIPLE TIMES on their recorded line, and finally agreed to have the work done for $6036.51. I get my bill a few days later after having to call and request the invoice, and the bill is for nearly $1400 more than was quoted me and what I agreed to. I have called weekly multiple times since October 28th, and this still hasn't been resolved. The office manager Tammi is the worst, will never call me back. Their contractor/technician Henry is the one who misquotes you, and the office's response is to have me come sit down and talk with Henry since this is a misunderstanding. I love 8 hours away, and there was no misunderstanding when the same number was quoted multiple times. Never once was the price they charged me ever actually said. I have spent hours of my life dealing with this company. Do not use them! They will swindle you out of more money, and to top it off, they didn't even FINISH THE JOB. Multiple times I had to call to have them come back to fill in the holes from the excavation. I am disgusted with their management, their ownership, and their technicians. Please save yourself the headache.

They came out to fix my bathtub faucet. Ricky, Christian, and Bob did a great job. They were very professional. They were on time. I even called them twice after hours (around 9pm) and they came out pretty fast. I will be calling them again.

I love Mr. Rooter and refer them to absolutely everyone. They have expertly taken care of several problems in my home - especially the atrium in the middle of the house that has been prone to flooding. This is an awesome family-owned business.  They have terrific customer service too!!!

Great Price, super fast, took pictures for me, alerted me of a fungus he found under my home and was extremely polite! Thank you Christian Terrazas! I called and he came out the next day! If you have a job that you want done right and fast you got to call these guys! They are now MY plumbers:)
